@alexis8 thank you for rating our game we really appreciate it!
The enemies seemed to cause issues near the end of the jam sadly D:
pretty nice visuals, the puzzle is very simple but totally works having the gun shoot in the direction of the character when the camera is controlled by the mouse was kinda strange for me
you might want to mention in the description that the gun is picked up with RMB and fired using LMB
@ididgame Thank you for taking the time to rate the game and give us your feedback!
I've been meaning to add some more additional controls like dropping items and picking up the weapon in the description thank you for the reminder.
meu pc tentando rodar esse jogo https://prnt.sc/rKXjKbUUHRQ_
I figured out how to solve the puzzle! :v: I really liked the 3D graphics it's really cool !
@jozgames Thank you for at least attempting to run the game xD
Apologies for setting your PC on fire I'm sure Ludum Dare will compensate for that :D
@padlynn Thank you for saving Nelson Nesbit the astronaut from suffocating and getting him out of that alien infested spaceship!
@deaglan-murphy will be very happy to hear you liked his modelling! He's beginning to post more of his models on his twitter if you'd like to give it a look. His twitter is Deaglan_Murphy :D
I thought this would have like next gen graphics or something with 1 GB, did you bake all standard assets into this  . Fun little game, though I don't know what I expected behind that door :stuck_out_tongue:
@devez I’m assuming the reason for it being such a large file for such a small game is due to the assets used by the level designer being higher quality and a lot of them were used.
We definitely should’ve had something exciting and unexpected to really reward the player but it’s always after submitting you think of all of the ideas 😂
Thank you for playing and reviewing our submission we really appreciate it!
Graphics were pretty intense, not really sure why. Impressive work with getting animations, enemy ai, auto-door functionality - camera view felt a little hard to use(or maybe it was my frame rate), if the interactables were easier to see this may not have been as difficult.
Nice concept and complete gameloop!
guys, if you make an FPS\TPS - for the love of god, make mouse multiplier.
found some amount of bugs, but well
@delauraen
Yeah we’ve had a few people saying it’s quite graphics heavy and the only reasoning for it I can think of is just the assets that make up the actual level since they’re quite high poly.
We had a plan for the camera but seemed to be too focused on other aspects on the game to the point where we forgot to change it and were out of time sadly 😂
We tried to have an outline type aura thing around the intractable but I think the shader we had on made it slightly difficult to see them or maybe it should’ve happened in a further radius from the player.
We really expect the kind words though, thank you for rating and reviewing our game!
@handsomeshan
The target genre wasn’t focused on it being a TPS game but more a survival adventure kind of game but we’ll take this feedback into consideration thank you.
We were aware of the camera being a bit funky but for the end product we didn’t think it took away too much from the game as you were still able to aim in a way just not the original in style form of aiming.
As with all games there are bugs (especially ones made within 2 days) we tried to fix them in the end when they started messing up but were unable to in the time frame.
Thank you for testing and reviewing our game, hope you enjoyed the Jam!
I won! Fun game with some action and escape room elements. I agree with others that it would be nice if it was more optimized. But hey :) It's a game jam. Good job
Cool little game, but damn my pc was struggling to run it! I also found quiet a few bugs with the E button, where the popups would never leave the screen and just add up. The theme and art were the stroongest points here I have to say, loved the little details like the silly smiley face in the helmet.
I really liked the task list, that was super helpful. I loved that the first task on the list was an "easy" puzzle (go to armory to get gun) but it became harder than you thought because you had to run past enemies to get that gun, really nice. Yeah shooting should have been locked to camera like people said but oh well. I was sadder that I never figured out how to use the battery or the o2. Eventually I won by remembering the numbers through multiple runs - I only got 4 out of the 5 and used trial and error for the last one. Not bad at all, and fun to play, thanks!
Great work! As people have said, shooting in the direction of the player rather than the camera made combat rather awkward, and mostly consisted of running randomly pressing arrow keys while spamming the mouse button. The puzzle was nice and fun. I ran out of oxygen the first time because I accidentally kicked the bottle into the other room, but the second time through I figured everything out. My computer *was* wheezing a bit while running the game, but the graphics are awesome, and I love the cartoony style. One thing was that the game had no audio, although that's probably an issue with my drivers or something.
I like the shiny effect on things. Great what you accomplished graphics- and 3d-wise. I would have liked automatic notetaking or an inventory, where i could collect the notes with the numbers. Then again i enjoyed the frantic when the oxygen went down to revisit all numbers and make notes myself, just before i died only seconds before i could enter them. Afterwards it was easy, since they don't change, i just started the game, turned, and openend the door to the cockpit. i guess you had the idea yourself, to randomize these numbers for every playthrough, but at the same time, i enjoyed it to "be so smart" and to avoid all those pesky aliens and win the game in an instant. Themewise, i like the limited space of the rooms, especially with the aliens, especially(!) when they block your way to the gun. I would have prefered to not shoot them. Use them further as blocking creatures so that the space stays limited, shooting them is too easy anyway. Interesting and satisfying it would be, if you could kill them with depleting oxygen in a controlled fashion, using the goal of the game as a game mechanic itself (thinking of FTL now). Anyway, i like your game and one more reference to appreciate your graphics: Floyd/The Feeble Files. I was heavily reminded of that game, don't know really why. Probably because of the roundish design of your objects and creatures. One last question, since i couldn't try it out. Does the healing chamber really heals? If so: great idea! Very fitting. And one more thing: at one point i was invincible, which i liked, to be honest. :)
I had some bugs going trough the game, but it's good for something made in 3 days.
**ON MY QUEST TO RATE ALL 15 GAMES NAMED SPACE LTD I’M TRYING OUT ALL THE GAMES NAMED SPACE LTD.** I guess it was self explanetory…
Tbh, couldn't find a gun . Instead had a pacifist run where i only replanish health, put a battery and open cockpit. Was actionaly fun to just dodge enemyes instead of killing them.
The game would've gained alot if you added some sound and music. Also encountered some funny bugs where instead of killing me enemyes started to nonstop heal me?? Very nice of them, i guess i made some friends.
But all bugs forgiven for this beautiful face. Love this astronaut so much.... his silly little face....

Overall, very nice game, fun little pazzle, would've loved to have something other then silence tho. Great job!!
P.S. I encourage you to try every space-ltd games using ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/54/space-ltd-[number] (or don’t use a number to get a first one) link to see what other ppl got! As proud space-ltd creaters should hold onto eachother!
Amazing look and design! My comp is too old but playability seems great.. But yea at 1GB it's hefty.. and as a sound person I'm missing.. sound. A start scene with clearer instructions of the game goal would also be useful...But overall, ace work!
@boyar thank you so much for the lovely message and we very much appreciate the feedback. im very glad you enjoy my cool space man too, i tried to encapsulate his daring and explorative nature all in his gorgeous yellow face. Im also glad you discovered the true meaning of the game ( to make some cool alien friends ) that definitely wasnt a bug and was absolutely intentional.
NICE GAMME!
Nice game, I'd say this is more limited oxygen than anything as couldnt figure out how to get that back up or what to do with the batteries I think I put one somewhere at one point but not sure. Sadly didn't get to complete as couldn't last long enough to kill the aliens and get the code.
Is this blue thing with the circle on the floor an oxygen station? how do I use it?
It was 1 gigabyte of genuine fun!
Loved the astronaut design and overall concept. Graphics felt intensive; maybe consider optimization? The gun and camera controls were a bit unorthodox, making gameplay slightly confusing. Also, noticed an absence of sound. Despite a few bugs, the game's vibe and core mechanics are promising. Great effort for a jam project!
Took me a couple of runs, but I was able to survive. I liked having to balance both health and oxygen. It was pretty fun.
:) Very fun! The models were great, and the concept was excellent! I didn't quite finish it, but I understand the design. Did you mean to add audio? I didn't hear anything.
Pretty fun, graphics were solid and puzzle wasn't too confusing. Could use audio and I think some proper aiming for the weapon would be good. Also my cursor got unfocused a few times from the notes.
@lupercalia thank you so much for playing and rating our game and for your comment. The healing chamber DOES really heal however we think this is part of the issue that makes you invincible lol. We also appreciate your comments on the art style our 3D modeler TJ is very talented. his twitter is @deaglan-murphy if your interested in his style. Thanks for playing
I loved the main character. I mean, how can you resist that smile? All the art is good, really, and the colors are very pleasant. The idea is nice, and the interpretation of the theme is interesting. The puzzle is quite simple but works well.
The execution could use some polish. The camera works strange at times, especially in tighter spaces - it tends to jump and show me parts of my anatomy up close . Could really use some crosshair or something like that to know where I'm aiming, as at the moment it's a bit of a guessing game. And some sfx feedback would do wonders for the reactivity feel of the game.
I also found a bug with picking up items. After I picked up a battery and dropped it, I could not pick it up again. It was just lying there on the floor, unresponsive to my pleas.
It's a solid jam entry overall, just throw a heap of polish at it and see it shine
Super cool, especially for just 72 hours! Love the 3D models
Yo, amazing game! For a game made in 72 hours... damn son, impressive! Also @SpaceLtdGang
seems interesting
Very impressive!
Nice!
Very good game, passed from the third time!)
Nice game. I like the art style. I was confused by the objective 'keep your oxygen levels up' as there didn't seem to be any way of doing that. The tasks written on the wall there was a nice touch though. Right click to pick up the gun seemed odd since everything else uses E. You can just walk right past the aliens and the batteries seem to do nothing. I was amused by the fact you can open the keypad multiple times at once.
Love funny space man, his smile is great :).
As a fellow Space Ltd creator I am obliged to support this game, haha kidding. Great art style and the models are well done, great work.
Nice game!
I figured out the puzzle, but wasn't able to pick up the gun no matter what I tried (Oh I am an idiot, I didn't see the right click thing, I see it now... wow). The art style was cool though, and the idea behind the puzzle was good :). Nice work either way! rushing + brute force always solves things :P.
Great graphics! It was tricky to shoot because the lasers fire in the direction of the little man instead of where the camera is pointing. You got a lot done in a weekend, nice entry!
Go team Space Ltd!
You guys rated my game so you deserve a rating, unfortunately my PC is not beefy enough to run Unreal games, so I can't play. :< Here's a drawing of the player character as consolation.
