Oct 3 02:54:52 Jekyll and Hide ♥ 3 I love this take on the theme! Really good graphics and sound as well. Great work!
Oct 3 03:04:48 9m 56s LoopTown ♥ 1 Love the art, nice job finishing a game after restarting so late!
Oct 3 03:17:28 12m 40s Sushi Panic ♥ 2 Love it! I got 19. The two things I really liked were 1. how the input codes remained constant between dishes so you could easily remember the combinations, and 2. how you could repair multiple things at once if you were standing close enough to them. Nice job!
Oct 3 03:30:19 12m 51s Paper Prison ♥ 1 Nice one! Cool take on the theme. I love the art, and the menu transitions were a nice touch. Like others said, WASD would have been better than arrow keys in combination with the mouse, but other than that a really solid game.
Oct 3 18:28:01 14h 57m 10 Second Tactics ♥ 0 This is a really clever concept! I appreciated how you could skip the 10-second countdown by clicking the timer, it would have been a bit tedious to wait around for so long otherwise. I hope you keep working on this, I could totally see this idea being expanded upon into something bigger! My one suggestion would be to add some kind of scoring system, it would've been nice to know how well I was performing compared to my previous attempts.
Oct 3 18:58:03 30m 02s 10 Second Laps ♥ 1 Fun, simple game! The controls are smooth and it plays really well. Nicely done!
Oct 3 19:03:26 5m 23s Impending Doom of a Thousand Kitties ♥ 3 Adorable! I love the artwork, especially the cat when it's being picked up.
Oct 3 19:16:27 13m 01s Oxylunky ♥ 1 The atmosphere of this game is fantastic. Great audio, graphics, and general mood. I'm glad you let the discoveries remain visible on later attempts- it would have been really tedious otherwise. It eventually got kind of frustrating having to reset back to the beginning once I made it far enough, but it looks like you addressed that in the post-jam version with checkpoints which was a really good decision.
Oct 3 19:28:29 12m 02s Run, Slime, Run ! ♥ 2 Cute game and in my opinion the perfect length for a jam game! I love the mechanic of using your own corpses to jump higher, and the audio/visuals were really good as well. I see some speedrunning potential with this idea! I managed to get 1:05 on my 3rd attempt.
Oct 3 23:00:06 3h 31m Frogwatch ♥ 4 Love the artstyle!
Oct 4 00:37:36 1h 37m The Sandwicher ♥ 2 Fantastic entry! An incredible amount of polish, especially for a compo entry. The game played incredibly smoothly, the concept was unique, the art and sound were great, and it's particularly impressive that you managed to implement online leaderboards with such a short time span. For some reason it was incredibly satisfying to knock off a huge chunk of enemies when the screen got really full. My only complaint was the movement felt a little unpredictable at times, but other than that this is an amazing entry in every aspect.
Oct 4 03:07:44 2h 30m Opening Knight ♥ 4 The cinematic was top-notch! Love the general art style/aesthetic
Oct 4 19:25:06 16h 17m Call It A Day ♥ 3 Absolutely amazing art and audio! I also really loved this take on the theme, the gameplay reminded me of Pacman a little. Sometimes clicking on the correct square felt a little tedious, but overall this is one of my favorites I've played so far this jam!
Oct 5 02:35:09 7h 10m RADARE ♥ 1 Looks simple but has a lot of complexity! Trying to keep track of both sides was quite the challenge and made my brain hurt (in a good way) haha. Nice work!
Oct 5 02:47:49 12m 40s Sweet Seconds ♥ 1 Really fun take on the theme, and a surprising amount of complexity in the later levels! Really good entry all around. P.S. I love the color pallette, I think I've used the same one in a previous Ludum Dare entry!
Oct 5 02:58:02 10m 13s Exp10sion ♥ 2 Love the use of the ghost mechanic! There were a few puzzles in there that were really neat, especially those which took 3+ lives to complete. In addition to really strong graphics, I also was impressed with how many levels you guys were able to make. Great entry!
Oct 5 03:09:15 11m 13s Not Late, Or Early ♥ 1 I really like the pixel art! The concept of packaging the toys on time was pretty neat. Would love to see some sort of difficulty curve in the future
Oct 5 03:24:54 15m 39s autoball ♥ 2 Such a clever concept, and executed wonderfully! I think you managed to design the gameplay in a really satisfying/addictive way. The graphics, while simple, are very pleasing to look at. I could see this being a popular game. Really great entry.
Oct 5 03:38:59 14m 05s Eleventh Second ♥ 1 Fantastic art, music, and extremely fun gameplay. You definitely managed to nail that certain type of addictiveness through its polish/juice, even if the gameplay isn't that complicated. Also it's pretty awesome that you were able to make a sequel to your previous entry. One of my favorite entries so far!
Oct 5 15:06:40 11h 27m Power Surge 51 ♥ 1 Wow! Can't believe this is a compo entry. Very strong entry all around, especially in the visuals. Great work.
Oct 5 15:18:25 11m 45s Starmony ♥ 3 Really fun and relaxing game! I really liked the variety in levels, the pinball levels were my favorite. Big fan of the GUI and art too!
Oct 5 18:32:18 3h 13m Alpaka madness - Every 10 seconds... ♥ 2 Super chaotic but super fun! I managed to get 102. I think it would feel even better to play if you increased the fire rate of the long-distance attack as well as the range of the melee attack. When it got super crazy, it sometimes felt too risky to try to attack so running away felt like the best choice, but I still had a great time playing this. Love the cute pixel art as well. Good work!
Oct 5 22:58:53 4h 26m Switcheroo ♥ 1 Very chaotic but very fun. I really like the pixelated 3D graphics, haven't seen that style used very often but it looks super clean. Nice work!
Oct 6 02:35:08 3h 36m Game Name ♥ 4 I accidentally refreshed the page when I was halfway done and I still immediately restarted and beat it all. Hopefully that says enough about how much I enjoyed this! Making a game jam game about making a game jam game is a hilarious idea, and I can't imagine it being executed better than this: fantastic art, sound, gameplay, everything. I loved how the results at the end matched the ludum dare rating system. Probably my favorite entry yet, and hope to see this near the top of the rankings in a few weeks!
Oct 6 02:39:25 4m 17s 10 Second Traffic ♥ 3 Fun, simple game! The sound effects were hilarious, and the modifiers were pretty neat too
Oct 6 02:45:59 6m 34s Flip and Swap ♥ 3 I'll echo what others have said about the platforming speed, but other than that I really enjoyed this! Cool concept, nice art, and pretty fun overall. Good work!
Oct 6 02:56:37 10m 38s Tenjutsu ♥ 1 Super impressive compo entry! The graphics and game feel were top-notch. The concept is really cool too, one of the more original ideas I've seen so far!
Oct 6 16:19:35 13h 22m To Catch a Wizard ♥ 1 I wasn't able to beat the boss, but really fun game! I thought that the rewind animation and fireball explosion particles looked awesome. I think that if you increase the fire rate of the fireball and made it so the green fireball explosion radius doesn't kill you, the boss would feel even more fun and less frustrating. Nice work!
Oct 6 18:46:34 2h 26m Void Well ♥ 1 Cool concept, and very nicely polished gameplay loop! I love the art too!
Oct 6 18:57:31 10m 57s Ten-Second Murder ♥ 1 Wow! This is a fantastic entry. I can't believe you were able to make such a complete product in such a short time span. I love the character animations especially, it adds so much charm and character. Incredible!
Oct 6 19:04:16 6m 45s Destroy Blocks ♥ 1 Even though it's a simple concept, this was really fun and addicting! Nice job!
Oct 6 19:10:05 5m 49s Fire 'n' Snail ♥ 1 Cool game! I liked how there were a variety of events that can occur every 10 seconds. The art looks really nice as well. Nice job!
Oct 6 19:15:54 5m 49s Radar Rider ♥ 1 Neat idea, and a really cool take on the theme! I think this idea might work even better if the radar only revealed the hazards and the player sprite was visible the entire time, or at least a couple seconds- it sometimes felt like I spent a bit too much time waiting for the radar to reveal me otherwise. Nice work!
Oct 6 19:21:45 5m 51s Witch in a hurry ♥ 1 Really neat game, the graphics were super charming! I liked the concept of switching up the controls, but sometimes I would forget what they were once the popup disappeared. Other than that a really solid game. Nice job!
Oct 6 19:31:45 10m 00s Space Kitten ♥ 1 Super fun platformer! The amount of polish you were able to get in such a short time span is incredible, as well as the number of levels. I thought that the level design/pacing was really good; it didn't feel too difficult or too hard, and you gave the player enough time to get used to the new mechanics before you increased the challenge. The graphics are also quite impressive. Fantastic entry!
Oct 8 20:43:59 49h 12m Loop Arena ♥ 1 Simple but fun! I liked the variety in enemies, nice job!
Oct 8 21:04:24 20m 25s Onades ♥ 1 Nicely polished, and a really fair difficulty curve! I managed to get 50
Oct 8 21:32:41 28m 17s Birdwatching ♥ 1 I feel like a bird expert now!
Oct 8 22:39:57 1h 07m Renew my Subscription ♥ 1 Wow! Super innovative idea!
Oct 8 23:20:20 40m 23s Holospecter ♥ 2 Woah, it's insane that you guys were able to get so much done in 3 days! Basically everything is top-notch, especially the art, but the controls are smooth, the audio is amazing, and the polish is unmatched. Simply incredible work, I managed to beat it!
Oct 9 03:55:02 4h 34m Blades of Doom ♥ 1 This was really fun! The art was cohesive, the music was nice, the controls felt smooth, and the game was overall really well polished. I managed to get 1:02. Well done!
Oct 14 17:24:22 133h 29m Power Loop ♥ 1 Fun game, the controls feel smooth, the gameplay is juicy and satisfying, and the difficulty curve feels just right. Good work!
Oct 17 18:27:26 73h 03m Tower Boy ♥ 1 Really nice job sticking to the limitations of the Game Boy! I liked the concept and interpretation of the theme, and I think that there's a ton of potential to be explored here if you keep working on it!
Oct 17 18:33:27 6m 01s Find the way ♥ 2 Congrats on making your first game, that's a huge milestone! I think that choosing a simple concept like this was a great idea for your first game jam (a lot of beginners tend to overscope, I know from experience haha), and other than some collision issues it worked quite well! Keep up the good work!
Oct 17 18:51:25 17m 58s Robotbotbot ♥ 2 Beat it (and got the secret ending)! I love this concept, and I thought you guys did a great job exploring the different ways the core mechanics could be used as well including an impressive amount of levels. Speaking of, the level-design was top notch, and I would love to see this concept explored even further with more mechanics!
Oct 18 00:25:30 5h 34m Sir Golde and the lair of the Minnowtaur ♥ 1 Beat it in 9:31! I really like this take on the theme, the concept of losing your vision every 10 seconds led to a really unique experience and gives the player some interesting choices to make. I also really liked the magnifying glass mechanic, and it was nice that once you had the sword you could permanently remove those pesky spikes. Good job!
Oct 18 02:23:46 1h 58m Making Connections ♥ 2 Cool concept! An impressive amount of content and dialogue, and I love the quirkiness!
Oct 21 19:15:59 88h 52m Shuffle Hustle ♥ 0 This game was surprisingly addictive! Admittedly, I'm not the best at word games, but this game made me keep wanting to replay it after I lost. I'm probably gonna play it a few more times after I finish this comment! I really liked that you made it possible to use repeated letters, I think that adds a lot of depth to the game. I'd be interested to see how the gameplay would change if there were six letters instead? Sometimes it felt like there weren't enough possible words in the 5 letters to meaningfully improve the time bank, but maybe I'm just not good enough :P Great work!
Oct 21 19:39:12 23m 13s Turnip Terrace ♥ 0 Really fun game! The game is quite easy to get a grasp of, and the simple controls complement the gameplay nicely. The sound effects are simple but effective. Great work!
