Oct 3 13:12:03 Satellite commander ♥ 1 What a fun little game! I really liked how it's fairly simple but it gets harder and crazier as more satellites are launched.
Oct 3 13:27:05 15m 02s Lab Rat ♥ 1 It's a really fun concept. The controls were pretty hard to get used to, though. The game could probably have a fixed camera viewpoint so the player doesn't have to think about managing the camera.
Oct 3 13:32:06 5m 01s Monster's Dungeon Shop ♥ 2 Fun game! The art and sound are both really nice. I enjoyed racing the clock to find and deliver the weapons before time ran out.
Oct 3 13:41:03 8m 57s Sushi Panic ♥ 1 I enjoyed the mechanic of having to fix things before I could cook, but at one point, things were breaking so fast that I couldn't cook at all and that's when I lost. Maybe things breaking could also be on a timer or maybe you could continue cooking if something breaks, but have to stop if all of the items break?
Oct 3 13:52:43 11m 40s What's Under The Teapot? ♥ 2 Graphics are nice, but some of the game pieces are hard to see what they are. Also, it would've been nice if the game skipped the rest of the 10 seconds when you select a piece and immediately told you if you got it right or wrong.
Oct 3 14:02:53 10m 10s Reboot ♥ 1 Really fun! There's a nice mix of puzzles and I really enjoyed this game.
Oct 3 14:07:38 4m 45s Mole Defender ♥ 1 Looks really nice, but the controls are a bit confusing. Also, I think the moles might be better if they were staggered and a little slower.
Oct 3 14:41:29 33m 51s Sub10 ♥ 1 What a cool take on the theme! The graphics and audio are fantastic. I would've like it if you could move your mouse while moving to change directions.
Oct 3 14:53:00 11m 31s The Box ♥ 2 Fun puzzles! Maybe the instructions could be made into a pause menu so that the box could be made bigger?
Oct 3 16:40:57 1h 47m Acid Rain ♥ 1 Very fun! Having to charge the power-ups added a fun bit of difficulty and strategy. Art also looks really nice :)
Oct 3 16:45:41 4m 44s Gelato Drift ♥ 2 I like this take on the theme! The controls are hard to get used to, but that just adds to the fun.
Oct 3 16:54:59 9m 18s Spell Survivors ♥ 1 Fun! I liked getting a bunch of enemies to chase me and then blowing them all up 😆
Oct 3 17:01:18 6m 19s Jekyll and Hide ♥ 2 The music change when you turn into a psycho is fantastic 😅 Scared me so bad the first time...
Oct 3 17:18:00 16m 42s Last Defense ♥ 1 I love the retro style! The audio matches it perfectly. I enjoyed learning how to pilot the ship. The tutorial was also really good. Very impressive!
Oct 3 17:28:53 10m 53s Lab Accident ♥ 2 Decent concept, a bit rough around the edges, but that's what you expect from a game jam :)
Oct 3 18:55:53 1h 27m Rockatoo ♥ 0 So much fun! I found the instructions explaining the unplanned moves to be a little confusing, but it was really fun once I got the hang of it.
Oct 3 19:49:46 53m 53s A Quick Bunny Affair 🥕 ♥ 4 So fun and it looks and sounds amazing! I might have missed it, but I had a hard time telling how much time I had left to deliver the carrots before a game over.
Oct 3 19:57:03 7m 17s Oasis Escape ♥ 1 Hey, great job finishing something for your first game jam! It's a little rough around the edges, but the fact that you made something playable and got it submitted in time is something to be proud of! 😄
Oct 3 20:01:50 4m 47s Boomsticks ♥ 1 I've seen several games that have a similar concept but where enemies spawn every 10 seconds, so I like that you did something different than that with the theme. Exploding guns is so ridiculous and hilarious 😄
Oct 3 20:09:22 7m 32s Rail Rush ♥ 1 This is really great for your first jam! Fun, simple concept. Maybe put some instructions in the description? It took me several tries to figure out what I was supposed to do and how to do it.
Oct 3 20:17:26 8m 04s Long Shot ♥ 3 Fun! I really like the art style. The facts that I only had to protect the cockpit and that I could only fire once every 10 seconds made it a lot more strategic than I expected, which was a nice surprise!
Oct 3 20:23:04 5m 38s Gravity Crush ♥ 1 Wow, this is amazing! The graphics look great and I really like the twist on the theme. It was really fun!
Oct 3 20:44:04 21m 00s Find Ten Seconds ♥ 2 Really fun and unique! I think it might help to put the similarities in a tooltip as you hover over tiles. I ended up not really looking at the points because it was so far away from the game board. Overall, I really enjoyed it!
Oct 4 14:24:24 17h 40m Sleepcheckers ♥ 1 The art is amazing! The gameplay was really fun too. I enjoyed figuring things out while also keeping an eye on the clock so I could hide. The mood is really good too, eerie and spooky. Great job! 😄
Oct 4 15:13:45 49m 21s Oxylunky ♥ 1 Fun game! I liked the minimalistic audio, it really added to the mood, as did the color palette. The controls felt nice and kind of floaty (in a good way) without being too hard to use.
Oct 5 13:28:22 22h 14m Cantina Spirit ♥ 2 Pretty fun! I liked how you put in several different characters to serve, it really gives the game a nice variety. It was a little too easy for my tastes, but I still enjoyed it.
Oct 5 18:25:27 4h 57m EPOCH ♥ 2 Maybe I'm misunderstanding the controls, but when I try to move through the maze by moving my mouse, the character only moves a little bit before it seems to get stuck on the walls. The art and audio are really nice though! Very techno-y.
Oct 5 18:34:10 8m 43s Bygone Melodies ♥ 1 The overall mood with the art, storytelling, and sound was really nice. The gameplay was a little hard for me, though. It was pretty difficult to tell when I was supposed to press the keys.
Oct 5 18:37:39 3m 29s One Shot Death ♥ 1 Fun and easy to learn how to play. I really liked the variety in the boss's movement and firing patterns.
Oct 5 18:50:54 13m 15s Feed the Deep ♥ 1 Wow, that was fun! Even though it was tough, I found myself playing again and again to try to find the best strategy.
Oct 5 18:56:47 5m 53s Foody the Robot ♥ 1 Very fun! The narrator reminded me of GLaDOS from Portal. The pixel artwork was really good. The switch to 3d was a little odd to me, but the dice rolling looked nice. I really enjoyed this game!
Oct 5 19:59:53 1h 03m dragabee ♥ 1 I like it! It took me a while to figure out the details of how the games works, so a more thorough tutorial would've helped, but once I got the hang of it, it was really fun trying to maintain the balance of resources and the bee's jobs.
Oct 5 20:08:26 8m 33s Boar Breakout DX ♥ 1 The pig sprites are so cute! Everything had a nice retro feel to it. The controls were pretty difficult to me, though. It seemed like I needed to build up momentum to be able to jump farther, which was tough to do in such small levels. I love the concept though!
Oct 5 20:14:16 5m 50s Fire 'n' Snail ♥ 1 I won! Avoiding the snails while looking for the way out was fun.
Oct 5 20:26:57 12m 41s Needy Pixel Kitties ♥ 1 Aww, the kitties are so cute! I really like this game idea, but I think making each item and cat type a different color would help a lot. So many of the items and cats were gray that it made it difficult to find what to do next easily.
Oct 5 20:30:23 3m 26s Dread Shadows ♥ 2 Fun idea! It was definitely spooky. It was so dark that I had a really hard time seeing even when the lights were on, though.
Oct 5 20:37:10 6m 47s Groceries, Please! ♥ 3 Really fun! The pacing of the items arriving was just right to make it anxiety-inducing.
Oct 5 20:58:18 21m 08s Resource: Remixed ♥ 1 Wow, really cool! A mini-map would've been nice. I played through the whole game 😄
Oct 5 21:12:31 14m 13s Winter Is Coming ♥ 0 Fun concept and simple to play. Even with the simple graphics, the game had a very foreboding tone.
Oct 6 00:11:08 2h 58m Game Name ♥ 2 So much fun!
Oct 6 00:17:54 6m 46s Just Right ♥ 1 Really fun and simple to learn!
Oct 6 15:44:53 15h 26m Nova Pulse Bakery ♥ 0 Fun! A tutorial would've been nice, but I like that the game doesn't punish you for losing resources, so it wasn't a bug deal to start again and figure out what to do.
Oct 6 21:06:47 5h 21m Four Cents ♥ 1 Very fun! I was a little confused that I had to take an order before I could make it even though the orders were already displayed on the screen. Maybe you could show only the current order and have some sort of indicator next to it showing how many orders are waiting to be taken? Or you could take multiple orders at once and make several coffees in a row. The art and music make a nice atmosphere.
Oct 6 21:23:03 16m 16s Binaria ♥ 1 Controls, art, and ambient audio are nice, but the gameplay gets repetitive and easy fairly quickly. It feels like a good foundation to build off of by adding more enemies, a narrative, etc. I didn't notice the timer at first, so maybe you could shrink the health bar and put the timer above it to keep all the UI in the same area.
Oct 7 03:20:56 5h 57m Scratching By ♥ 3 The artwork is great and the gameplay is quite fun! I wish there was some way to see how many of each pastry I have prepared, though.
Oct 7 15:10:14 11h 49m [X-ED OUT] ♥ 1 I like the balance of the two gameplay modes--the game has a really nice flow. I'm not all that great at these types of games, so I only got to level 3 😅
Oct 7 15:20:17 10m 03s Super Auto Crusaders ♥ 3 I don't usually like autobattlers, but this one was really fun! It has a nice amount of strategy involved in the set up and upgrade phases to keep me engaged in the game, and the battle sequences are fun to watch.
Oct 7 15:29:11 8m 54s 10s To Decide ♥ 1 Like others have said, the lack of visual feedback makes it hard to determine what is happening. The tutorial was a bit off-putting since it was just a big wall of text. It would be a lot more approachable if the tutorial instead guided you through the first few turns and explained each step individually as you did that step. Also, it would've been nice if there was either a button I could press to skip the rest of the current 10 seconds or if the timer slowed back down to normal after it rolled over to the next 10 seconds. Great work on having a finished, playable game for your first jam! A tower defense game is a fun, unique idea.
Oct 7 15:34:14 5m 03s RandoBots ♥ 3 Wow, what a creative idea! It took me a minute to understand the forms switching back and forth, but once I did, I really enjoyed it. The graphics and audio were polished and went well with the game, and the feedback when I hit/got hit by the enemy was satisfying.
Oct 7 15:42:21 8m 07s Jelly Jar ♥ 1 The mechanics were a bit confusing at first, but once I figured out how to play, I quite enjoyed this game. The pixel art is cute, and I liked the strategy/turn-based aspect of it. It was a little strange to me that the jellies can kill you, but I think with a few tweaks this game would be pretty cool if expanded upon.
Oct 7 15:49:28 7m 07s Babbage's Cabbages ♥ 1 I like the concept! It would've been nice to see "echoes" or faded out versions of where the platforms of the other universe were so that I could plan my jumps better. The character's movement was also really floaty, which made platforming a little difficult since it was hard to go fast enough to get where I wanted to be before the universe switched again. It would be interesting to play this game with a couple different versions of the character's movement to see what is best suited to the game. I like how I can use the colors to tell what platforms belong to which universe and which ones stay no matter what.
Oct 7 19:31:47 3h 42m Burger Rush ♥ 1 Really fun! The pace at which new ingredients were added felt good. It would've been nice if there was a checkmark next to an ingredient in the order when you've put it on the burger so that it's easier to keep track of what I need to do next. Also, the white text for the menu and tutorial is quite hard to see against the background. The game looks great and the music goes well with it!
Oct 11 14:26:55 90h 55m Relay PeaJay ♥ 1 So cute! I like the creative controls. I also liked that it didn't reset my run if I went over 10 seconds. I'm not that great at games like this one, so the fact that I could just keep going if I didn't get the best time make it enjoyable for me. From a visual standpoint, the world seems a little empty since all the other birds are the same and there's not really any change in the background or tileset. The bird sprite is so cute though. 😄 This would be so fun if expanded upon and given a narrative.
Oct 11 22:12:18 7h 45m WindBots ♥ 2 So much fun! The mechanics were really interesting and intuitive, and the puzzles were fun to solve. The graphics were quite polished as well. The theme didn't really affect my game play all that much, but it might be interesting to have some larger levels include checkpoints that the robots can start from once they reach them, instead of being reset to the very beginning. I'd love to play an expanded version of this game with more levels and mechanics!
Oct 12 01:07:06 2h 54m Drying tomatoes ♥ 1 Simple but quite fun. I like the pixel art graphics and the audio. The mechanics were a bit confusing to me at first because I didn't realize I had to return with 100 tomatoes all at once. I thought that the tomatoes I brought back were adding up, so making that more clear in the instructions and/or in the game itself would've been helpful. Also, I noticed that sometimes the tomatoes get stuck inside the ground tiles and I think a little victory song would've been fun for the end. I really enjoyed this game though! Very polished and fun to play. Very impressive that you made this in 48 hours!
