Apr 27 01:49:10 Rhongapo: Mindless ♥ 3 It's an interesting game, I like the voice acting and the music. But you need to make sure the musci is looping. The controls feel a bit unpolished, also when the subtitles appeared and you try to move the camera becomes very jittery.
Apr 27 01:58:03 8m 53s A Sinking Feeling ♥ 0 This game looks awesome! I think there may be a few bugs but overall it seems to work well. It's really fun! I'm not very good at it though, haha.
Apr 27 02:21:06 23m 03s She Waits Below ♥ 2 I really really liked this! The puzzles are awesome and I love it a lot.
Apr 27 02:38:50 17m 44s Forgotten Spelunker ♥ 1 This is pretty good! I think the controls need a bit of tweaking and there a few chunks that feel a bit unfair. Also, the html is a bit laggy. Fun game!
Apr 27 15:04:31 12h 25m Drain the Sea ♥ 1 5KM to win isn't the correct number, but this was a really fun and polished game! I liked your animations, art style, and music a lot! Also it's balanced really well.
Apr 27 15:22:21 17m 50s That Sinking Feeling ♥ 1 The game seems to be a bit buggy and it's not really clear what you're supposed to do. The arrow and the ladders seem very buggy and pressing E doesn't always open up the task, I guess it could just be me. The graphics and sound are great though!
Apr 27 15:53:12 30m 51s The Forgotten Halls ♥ 0 This was so good! The mines are hard to figure out where to place and it would be nice to be able to tell your acolites where to go. That was fun though! I liked it!
Apr 27 16:17:21 24m 09s Happy submarine ♥ 1 The mood is great on this game! I kept getting jump scared! I think the UI needs a bit of work but this was fun!
Apr 27 23:14:15 6h 56m The Deeper The Deadlier ♥ 1 This is a neat game! There are some issues with it, mainly the wall climb and the gun physics. You often end up kicking the gun away from you which is very annoying. Also, it would be nice to have to hold space to wall climb or something as just randomly levitating is a bit strange and hard to control. Also, the music restarts every time to go to a new level or die, which is unfortunate. Neat game though!
Apr 27 23:31:11 16m 56s Deep In the Dark ♥ 1 Holy cow that is terrifying, 10/10 sound design. Just as a note, the mouse doesn't disappear when you start the game.
Apr 27 23:39:15 8m 04s Deepest Point ♥ 1 The game is fun! I got like 63 on normal. Although it might just be me, but the music gets a bit annoying after a while, I think it has to do with the repetitive high-pitched sounds.
Apr 28 00:12:55 33m 40s ARG: Journey for the Sushitos ♥ 1 Nice game, very funny! Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to get past the giant room with all the spiders in. I think you move a bit too slow to really be able to explore things without it getting annoying. I also wish you could move diagonally. As a side note, the music and sound was very good, but the volume was balanced poorly - it gave me a heart attack when I started up the game and for some reason the volume controls only go in increments of 20. It should go at the very least in increments of 5.
Apr 28 00:47:57 35m 02s DeepCleaner ♥ 1 It's cool, but I don't really know what the point of it is
Apr 28 00:57:04 9m 07s BlobBoy's journey ♥ 1 Nice work! I see that you only had two people. There doesn't really seem to be a point to reaching the bottom though.
Apr 28 01:01:59 4m 55s Get to the ground! ♥ 1 I had the same problem unfortantely.
Apr 28 01:05:07 3m 08s DOWN - The Descend ♥ 0 The download didn't seem to work for me.
Apr 28 01:08:56 3m 49s The Ugliest Fish ♥ 0 The art was quite good! Although, my computer didn't like it very much lol, it was a bit laggy for some reason. I'm impressed you managed to do this in 8 hours!
Apr 28 01:17:26 8m 30s AntiVirus ♥ 2 I don't know how to solve the second one, but yeah the concept is really cool!
Apr 28 01:30:40 13m 14s YARGS ♥ 0 The music is a bit too repetitive and I'm not so sure about the whistle. On a positive note, the root growth is sick and now I am very curious to how you managed that!
Apr 28 01:58:17 27m 37s Deep Sleep - The Sandman ♥ 1 The audio is hilarious! I would love to see a difficulty curve and an end in the future, unless you want to keep it arcady. Also a day night cycle would be very cool!
Apr 28 02:16:13 17m 56s Insector ♥ 0 The game is pretty funny and fun! I'm surprised not more people have played it! Bug note: if you jump on an elevator you fall through it.
Apr 28 02:35:12 18m 59s The Long Loneliness ♥ 1 This is really fun! I'm not sure I like having the playing field angled in that way, it makes it hard to tell which direction you need to push. Other than that though, this game was really awesome! (side note, if you don't get enough ratings to get scored, I'm gonna be mad)
Apr 28 02:52:20 17m 08s Deeply Organic ♥ 2 This was really fun! I do think the lungs section went on too long, but everything was cool!
Apr 28 23:57:37 21h 05m ONI ♥ 1 This is a very neat concept! I too got stuck on anniversaries, haha. My biggest critique is that the mouse sensitivity is quite high and the movement speed is a bit slow.
Apr 29 00:21:36 23m 59s Deep Sleep ♥ 3 This was a very cool game! I do have a few suggestions, 1. if you want to make it look like the mom knocked over the bookshelf you should just have the mom knock over the bookshelf instead of making the player do it 2. I feel like walking speed should be faster and there shouldn't need to be a sprint, because the sprint doesn't add anything to the game. Same with the jump in my opinion, if it doesn't serve a purpose then there isn't a reason for it to be there. 3. Why 4 toys in the jail? why not just 1? 4. I liked the story a lot, but there was one specific line, "I can choose to be happy!" threw me off a little bit. Not enough to make me hate the story, but it did seem a bit odd. Great work!
Apr 29 02:54:54 2h 33m Low Notes ♥ 1 This is quite fun! Although, I'm not so sure about the whole music pitch-shifting thing, it doesn't sound all that great. I liked the game though (although I was very bad at it despite being a musician haha)
Apr 29 03:17:22 22m 28s Frog ♥ 2 This was really fun! The spikes on the ceiling didn't seem to really do anything though unfortunately.
Apr 29 03:25:28 8m 06s 7 DEEPS ♥ 1 I don't really understand this game. I appreciate the work though.
Apr 29 03:37:51 12m 23s Subwoofer-Bot ♥ 1 This was quite difficult! I liked the graphics and it's a cool idea.
Apr 29 03:47:00 9m 09s Within Yourself ♥ 0 I agree that there should be a restart this room feature. The concept is really fun though! I've always loved block puzzles.
Apr 29 05:07:38 1h 20m Dig the Onion ♥ 3 This is pretty good! The blur effect kind of hurts my eyes a bit but it is a very good concept. Maybe if you found a less, harsh way to blur things? Anyway it was fun!
Apr 29 19:47:25 14h 39m Conspiracy Dive ♥ 1 The graphics are a bit lacking, but the puzzles were fun! Although, you did seem to just need to brute force the second one. Was I missing something?
Apr 29 20:00:29 13m 04s DISPOSAL ♥ 4 It's quite difficult, but very fun! Nice job!
Apr 29 22:51:40 2h 51m Shrink and Destroy ♥ 1 This is fun! I actually quite like the music.
Apr 29 23:06:50 15m 10s Bunny Bunny Dig Dig ♥ 0 HOW DID YOU DO THIS IS 48 HOURS BY YOURSELF? WHAT??? Is very good.
Apr 29 23:17:42 10m 52s I'm So Deep ♥ 2 This game is pretty funny, but it's very difficult to tell what you're supposed to do to get a good rating! Is it random? I won with "Wow! Cow!" once.
Apr 30 01:47:22 2h 29m Mariana ♥ 1 Seems pretty chill! I like how the music got more ominous the deeper you went.
Apr 30 02:12:24 25m 02s Disco Delve ♥ 2 I'm impressed this is a compo game! I have two problems with it though: The death animation takes way too long, it should be like half a second long at most. And two: while the music is very good at first, I would have liked to see some different sections in it where it didn't use the same few notes over and over again as it gets a bit repetitive.
Apr 30 03:13:38 1h 01m Condemned ♥ 1 I wish the music was a bit more interesting. You had a cool concept going though!
Apr 30 03:38:08 24m 30s Oh no, I opened the door and there was a fish! ♥ 2 The art was awesome! And the controls were mostly good, but it did feel strange to not be able to go up considering you should theoretically be able to swim.
Apr 30 17:14:34 13h 36m Dwarven Mines: Hunt for the Evergreen ♥ 1 It may have just been me, but I was always jumping. Also, there wasn't really antyhing to do. I liked the art!
May 1 18:22:10 25h 07m Tecta ♥ 0 I like the music and the concept a lot! But, I would have liked it a ton better if getting food didn't seem to depend entirely on luck. I died a few times to lack of food and I didn't really feel like there was something I could've done. Maybe I was just being stupid.
May 1 20:55:34 2h 33m To The Core ♥ 0 I don't know if this was just me, but I was not a fan of how it would purchase something immediately once you opened the market. I dunno if that's like a glitch or something, but I don't like it. Also, it always says that you're using bare hands. Other than that, I liked the game!
May 1 21:15:43 20m 09s The Fault ♥ 1 I feel like this keeps happening to me, but once again, I was always moving up. Luckily if I pressed down, the player was able to move down, but it was strange. (no, my w key is not pressed down. Which is why I'm able to type w's normally.) I liked the music, but the first two sections were way too short to actually hear all of it. The game is cool! Also, what is this lol? Screenshot 2021-05-01 151427.jpg
May 1 21:22:29 6m 46s Digtet ♥ 1 Seems fun! I haven't played Tetris that much so I don't really understand how to play it, but that's my fault not yours, haha. I would have liked to see some music, but I guess that's hardly to be expected in a compo game.
May 1 21:44:14 21m 45s The deepest curse ♥ 1 This game seems pretty fun, but I am not a fan of the lives system you have. I kept getting sent back to the beginning randomly and it took me a second to figure out why. In my opinion, this game is a bit too difficult to have a lives system. Also, the first time I lost all my lives, I died while climbing and there was a bug where I was still climbing after respawning... it was a bit strange to be able to float everywhere in the climbing animation lol.
May 1 23:25:01 1h 40m Future Ants ♥ 1 The ants seem to have trouble actually finding things to gather and finding their way back to the base once they find something. I had an ant stuck maybe 3/4 of the way down the screen just wandering around helplessly, and everyone else was just hanging out by the base wandering in circles. The UI is solid and the music is pretty good too!
May 2 02:44:51 3h 19m Yawning Fathoms ♥ 1 This is really cool, but I tried to talk to people at the Ant Colony and it seemed to soft-lock me :(. Also, the only supply I ever seemed to use was food. What's the point of the other things?
May 2 03:49:01 1h 04m The Great Sinker ♥ 1 I agree with everythin that Brad Make Games says. To add to that, and I don't mean to be rude because it is a very great concept that I want to see developed more, it feels a bit like a clicker game that doesn't have any upgrades or anything to do other than just keep clicking. Like, there is no decision making involved in playing this game, it's just, you see crack, you click. I think adding an upgrade system might actually be a good idea here as well as making it more challenging, or maybe different types of cracks or something? I dunno, I don't usually come up with these ideas. Anyway, I loved the art and it's a neat concept!
May 2 18:36:32 14h 47m Deep End ♥ 1 this is quite difficult, but super cool! I have to say, personally I don't really like not being able to see around you all the time and having to wait for a random burst of light, but that's pretty minor. I too was playing with keyboard, and I noticed that even if you barely scrape a pixel against the rock, you die. Maybe you could consider making the environment hitbox smaller? Other than that, I liked the game a ton!
May 2 22:40:18 4h 03m Descent Into Madness ♥ 1 At first, I struggled a little because it was so dark, but after I figured out the concept it was great! I do agree that the movement is a bit clunky, but the coyote time (at least from what I could tell) was greatly appreciated. I loved how the music and the graphics got more distorted the more mushrooms you had, that was just great. I loved how enemies would appear if you ate too many, and I loved how more platforms and vines and things to get around with would appear the more mushrooms you ate. Personally, I would like to see the place a little bit less dark since it does feel like you're squinting a bit trying to see, and I would like to see a longer loop of music with new sections (even like a minute long or something) because it gets a bit repetitive, but these are very minor and I understand that music takes a ton of time to write. Great job!
May 3 19:43:04 21h 02m Dungeon Escape ♥ 1 The traps are very good, quite surprising! At first they seemed unfair but then I was able to figure it out. I did die pretty quickly though (level 6), but that's probably just because I'm bad. I didn't run out of time I just wandered around really fast and got hit by all the traps, haha. Good sound design, though I do think that the main menu might have needed something? Also, the first time you go down a hole it's not entirely clear what happened. I am somewhat interested in your procedural generation code, that seems pretty interesting!
May 4 16:01:52 20h 18m Dig Deeper ♥ 1 Hi, I do not know why this is happening for only me, but for some reason (and I've encountered this with a few games now) I am always jumping (no, my space key is not stuck down, which is why I'm able to type this without a million spaces). I'm not sure if my computer just doesn't like unity games or something, but I don't know how to fix it. Sorry I couldn't rate your game, it was unplayable as I couldn't pick up the sword. (I'm on a windows laptop btw) I noticed you said you wrote code to procedurally generate caves, that's really cool and now I'm curious how you did it!
