| Apr 21 20:42:55 | Absolutely Authentic Streaming Experience™ | ♥ 1 | Ended up having a boring stream for being too nice, even though I had been warned. I quite liked the tension of the real time choices and some of the comments/donations were funny enough to make me lose some precious decision time, well done. Cool concept and clean execution! | |
| Apr 21 20:53:36 | 10m 41s | Flame Guardian | ♥ 2 | Even though graphics could be improved and the somewhat clunky physics make the game way harder than it supposedly ment to be I really enjoyed the atmosphere, great work! |
| Apr 21 21:05:18 | 11m 42s | SaverTato | ♥ 1 | Nice and simple, I think you could ramp up difficulty over time (or faster) to make it a little more challenging (Also the entire protection around Spudfill disappeared at once, did I missed something?) |
| Apr 21 21:10:02 | 4m 44s | Dungeon Farmer | ♥ 0 | Very cool little game, would have loved to have that counter, to know how many of those evil spiders I managed to drag with me into the grave. Keep it up! |
| Apr 21 21:18:55 | 8m 53s | A story in the desert | ♥ 1 | Really liked the visuals, that cape. I would love to play the entire thing you had planned if you ever get to it! |
| Apr 21 21:33:07 | 14m 12s | BrewMancy | ♥ 3 | Loved getting familiar with that house and the clever holes in it. The potion was a nice touch for added tension, very cool overall! (Also the mouse sensitivity was really high, but I don't know if it came from my computer or the game) |
| Apr 21 21:46:03 | 12m 56s | This is Fine | ♥ 4 | Very cool mechanics and a lot of variety too, It would lend very well to a longer game, with more time to play around with the different rules. Well done! (The way you can keep on letting time pass while everything even the mug is on fire cracked me up) |
| Apr 21 22:07:13 | 21m 10s | The Last Humans | ♥ 0 | The visuals drawn me to it and clearly I was not disappointed! Loved the overall atmosphere, the 1-bit look and the spacialized soundscapes. Maybe resources could fill juste a little bit faster, I keep dying of starvation while pumping water :(. Very good anyway, great job! |
| Apr 21 22:15:28 | 8m 15s | Dwindling Kindle | ♥ 0 | Very efficient loop, the game already stands on its own. Well done and good luck for future developments! |
| Apr 21 22:22:39 | 7m 11s | the Early Worm | ♥ 0 | Movements are really tricky but fun to see, painfully managing to just make a turn. Loved the random accordion sounds, very fitting. |
| Apr 21 22:29:06 | 6m 27s | Feathers, Fur, and Fury | ♥ 0 | Kind of lacks any goal but off to a good start |
| Apr 21 22:34:59 | 5m 53s | That guy | ♥ 1 | Loved the huge swarm of enemies and those wonderful voice clips, great little experience! |
| Apr 21 23:07:26 | 32m 27s | Roho - immortality of a deer stalker | ♥ 2 | I really liked the mood but the controls feel a little too floaty, not enough drag makes it difficult to grab collectibles and it's quite hard to aim with slow projectiles. Again it is probably a matter of tastes but I think it could have been a bit faster paced |
| Apr 21 23:25:10 | 17m 44s | Pupper Truckers | ♥ 2 | Kind of confusing at first I ended up really getting into it and surviving all the waves. Movements are awkward due to the size of everything on screen getting in the way and I had trouble understanding what I should do but in the end it is a very coherent game with a lot of style, congrats! |
| Apr 21 23:45:36 | 20m 26s | Morphology | ♥ 1 | Confusing at first buy it adds to the mood, nothing really to criticize, the concept is solid, art and music are gorgeous, congrats! |
| Apr 21 23:56:26 | 10m 50s | Straying Alive | ♥ 1 | Simple but effective, I just found the enemy cell IA strange, or at least very difficult to predict. It sometimes makes the game feel more unfair than challenging. But great job overall! |
| Apr 22 00:09:43 | 13m 17s | Etiolation | ♥ 2 | Very polished and well done overall, I had difficulties handling both platforming and throwing/catching stuff but I guess this one is on me. Great work! |
| Apr 22 00:20:11 | 10m 28s | DEATH | ♥ 3 | Too bad for Linda and four more that I suck at understanding what a game want me to do, anyway that was a neat experience, well done! |
| Apr 22 00:34:37 | 14m 26s | Love Verne | ♥ 1 | Delightful game, gorgeous pixel art and animations. Confusing at first but it's part of the fun (and that goldfish is definitely still alive) |
| Apr 22 00:42:10 | 7m 33s | Tamagotchu | ♥ 1 | Just loved it, especially the transition where things get serious, also art and music fit the game very well. Charming! |
| Apr 22 12:27:16 | 11h 45m | Amalgamage | ♥ 1 | Oh wow just solid, innovative concept and clean execution, only the sounds can be a little harsh but well it serves the aesthetic, well done! |
| Apr 22 12:33:40 | 6m 24s | Feed King or Die Starving | ♥ 1 | Oh no my King! What a gruesome way to go. Loved it, cool design and innovative concept, I do have a soft spot for 2d sprites in a 3d world, also very funny visuals. I think a target where the chef will land would have helped though. Had a lot of fun anyway! |
| Apr 22 12:41:59 | 8m 19s | Big Bee Bigby | ♥ 1 | The music goes very well with the graphics, harsh for such a calm setting, it works well! A few more mechanics would have been nice for interest on the long run but it stands nicely on its own, great job! |
| Apr 22 12:56:37 | 14m 38s | Tale of a Little Guardian | ♥ 2 | Most gorgeous and nice sounding game I've played so far. (I've experienced some issues while playing like being stuck at respawn or on geometry but I played it on linux through Wine so maybe that's the cause) While the art is charming I thought the physics were clunky, the physics feels strange and the minimum distance you walk when you move had me falling into spikes while just trying to align me with the save point. Anyway great entry! |
| Apr 22 13:06:15 | 9m 38s | SAVE THE DINOS! | ♥ 1 | From "Oh wow easy" to "THIS IS HELL" real fast. It feels the "turn back dinos" mechanic is a little redundant, I was too focused en getting rid of asteroids to manage them. But I had a lot of fun, it's tense enough and those adorable creatures make me want to protect them, very cool entry, great work! |
| Apr 22 13:41:47 | 20m 02s | Division Decisions | ♥ 2 | When going to the next day if the papers are up they get pushed down but I cannot put them back up, I play on Linux through Wine so maybe the issue come from there. Anyway I managed to take the habit of closing it at 18:00. I ended up playing it way more than other games I tested and absolutely was not able to win, but I'll go back. My favorite game in the Jam so far, giving off a bit of a Papers Please vibe. Nothing to add really, just a very well made game, congrats (I was really pleased that others had took the theme in a less literal way, I've protected so much critters and tend to so many fires so far) |
| Apr 22 17:14:30 | 3h 32m | Save Frijole! | ♥ 3 | Nice puzzle platformer, visuals are simple but I really liked the music. Lots of levels, quite challenging as well, just a good entry well done! |
| Apr 22 17:18:38 | 4m 08s | Cthulhu must be kept alive | ♥ 1 | Always love a nice human sacrifice. The game suffers a bit for being too repetitive and slow-ish but quite cool anyway especially since you've been away from gamedev for a a long time, good work! |
| Apr 22 17:24:36 | 5m 58s | Gino the Neutrino | ♥ 5 | Simple but effective, not sure that having learning material acquired on player's death is the most effective way of making people love particles though ^^. Lovely entry! |
| Apr 22 17:31:41 | 7m 05s | HELLDERLY | ♥ 1 | Very (frustratingly) fun and polished game. Such a colorful and cute style for such a grim end. Only thing I could see improved is explanations on the power ups but you get to know them quite quick so in the end it's not that big of a deal. Cool game! |
| Apr 22 17:50:41 | 19m 00s | Back Four Seconds | ♥ 1 | Just 5 stars all the way, that was brilliant. A little bit confusing at first but overall just an excellent short game, Thanks! |
| Apr 22 21:01:01 | 3h 10m | Blossom Blaster | ♥ 1 | I found some details very funny like the band on water equipped flies or the death animation. The game is indeed simple but well executed, cool entry! |
| Apr 22 21:18:19 | 17m 18s | Keep It Alive top-down shooter | ♥ 2 | I realize that I have quite a few things to say so I'm sorry if it sounds harsh that's not the idea at all ^^". On the technical side I found strange the fact that the music stops then refreshes every so often and the sticky collisions with the arena borders. Also I think the special weapon should slow down everything, the fact that enemies can still shoot at you while you're slowed makes it suicidal to use for not that much benefits. And finally in that kind of game you should aim for a steady rhythm, one easy fix could be halving enemy hp while doubling their spawn. The mechanics are cool anyway, congrats and well done! |
| Apr 22 21:28:37 | 10m 18s | Flamebearer | ♥ 1 | The overall controls feel very clunky making plateforming harder than it should and almost guarantee getting hit if attempting any combat. I quite like the NES-ish aesthetic though, good job! |
| Apr 22 21:40:00 | 11m 23s | KidPunk | ♥ 2 | Really liked the concept and overall vibe, but while technically clean it felt quite tedious to restart because of dangers that felt a little unfair like every drop of acid being deadly or the fact that you should tank sniper hits and not try to shoot it. But a nice game overall, have to like the die and retry aspect obviously ^^ |
| Apr 22 21:54:22 | 14m 22s | Phase 7 | ♥ 1 | Oh well, up there with my favorite games from this Jam. The huge team must help but anyway, a very pretty, moody and polished game, congrats! (I will definitely keep the post-jam version around to see the other endings) |
| Apr 22 22:00:58 | 6m 36s | Keep Sweep | ♥ 1 | It took me a while to find an effective strategy and realize trampling things was way more effective than shooting them. It's quite difficult right now and I think it's mainly due to the attack not being effective enough do be reliable. But overall that was very fun and I am quite fond of that (horrible) pun, great entry! |
| Apr 23 15:55:49 | 17h 54m | Inhabitable | ♥ 1 | Enven if the audio and overall fun of the game would have been enough you definitively get five stars for having capitalism as the enemy. The simple faces and arm animation give a lot of character to those celestial bodies, just lovely ^^ |
| Apr 23 15:58:55 | 3m 06s | Turbosaurus Hero | ♥ 0 | Damn, would have loved to play but I'm on Linux and Wine refuses to display any 3d with some Unity games, good job anyway! |
| Apr 23 16:46:07 | 47m 12s | Bloody Fantastic | ♥ 0 | Solid game, found it very hard but had fun anyway. I've not encountered anything I had gripes with (I think the difficulty is on me) so just well done! |
| Apr 23 16:53:58 | 7m 51s | Faire L'Amour aux Plantes | ♥ 2 | Not sure how you came up with that concept but I'm grad you did. I especially liked how it rapidly transition to almost a rhythm game with mouse precision involved, but those cutscenes though, each time I was wondering if I shouldn't just let those disgusting things die ^^". Great game, congrats! |
| Apr 23 17:37:22 | 43m 24s | It's a survival game? | ♥ 1 | I really tried but was not able to finish it, It already has cool audio and visuals, just some tweaks away to be a winnable ^^". Great experience anyway! |
| Apr 24 12:34:59 | 18h 57m | ADOA - Addition Dino Offspring Alive | ♥ 1 | Charming game, an efficient way of incorporating educational content while the balancing of the actual rocks adds a little physics based challenge to it. Very nice entry! |
| Apr 24 12:59:46 | 24m 47s | Doctor Lit | ♥ 2 | Great atmosphere, art and polish are definitely there. The short leveling session was enjoyable, there's already a good base if you ever want to expand on it, nice work! |
| Apr 24 13:09:39 | 9m 53s | Fledgling | ♥ 0 | The atmosphere here is top notch, I had a bit of a struggle understanding how to hunt (An owl sadly was hurt in the process) but once mastered the game flows really well. Loved the experience, congrats! |
| Apr 24 17:07:07 | 3h 57m | Keep it alive | ♥ 1 | Simple and effective, could use some tweaking for feedback and game feel (like halving both bullet damage and cooldown), anyway I really like the floppy disk concerto, cool entry! |
| Apr 26 11:17:54 | 42h 10m | The Spark | ♥ 1 | I first thought that the movement speed was too slow and that guard's vision not showing were an issue but I quickly realized that it served the NES-aesthetic/MGS homage very well so I ended up liking it, furthermore I found it boosted tension witch in a stealth game is a requirement. (Although, I've seen it mentioned the spark's lifespan is a little too generous.) I had a really good time completing it, great entry! |
| Apr 26 13:10:45 | 1h 52m | Flippy Fish | ♥ 3 | Everything is just perfect, here, have all the stars please. I'm a huge fan of the Rhythm Tengoku series and found myself quite at home here even though I could not tell if action was actually synced with the music (which is excellent by the way). The art style is very cute and coherent, and everything regarding telegraphing hazards is spot on. Probably my favorite one so far, congrats and thank you! |
| May 1 11:56:47 | 118h 46m | Magnetic Angel | ♥ 1 | I do agree on the messy feeling but as other have suggested it might only be a matter of control scheme and maybe dropping one of the three main mechanics (collecting pickups, aiming shield or clicking foes) to gain in focus. On the other hand it does a great job at creating tension, coupled with that very cool aesthetic. Really impressed by the entry given the time you had and that you work in C (Although, with my old linux computer, glad to see other devs still clinging to actually efficient tools). Great work! |
