| May 1 17:17:16 | Small World Mini Treasures | ♥ 0 | I think it's commendable that you used c++ even though you are more familiar with java. I think the game would be more fun if the character walked a little bit faster. Played all through the end and found that mysterious bearded guy. I don't think he needs to apologize for his first try ;) | |
| May 1 17:22:49 | 5m 33s | Boxed | ♥ 0 | I am not able to play the game. The zip folders are empty. :( |
| May 1 17:41:36 | 18m 47s | 5x5 Kingdom | ♥ 0 | I really like the concept of this game. Had a lot of fun until all the tiles were occupied. at this stage I had no idea what to do next. I felt that I needed too many farms and i did not know what the villages were for. I think the game would be more fun if it had several goals and stages. but besides that: great art, theme and concept! |
| May 1 18:00:40 | 19m 04s | Travelling Merchant | ♥ 0 | Really interessting entry and nice concept! I like the provide and demand system and that the item costs changed based on it. the game held my attention for quite some time. Sadly I glitched into the water by trying to get to the southpole from southamerica and did not manage to get back onto any continent. |
| May 1 19:12:14 | 1h 11m | Song of Fungus | ♥ 1 | solid entry! very innovative gameplay, pleasent atmosphere and great leveldesign. nice job! |
| May 1 19:29:21 | 17m 07s | Exit.. space left | ♥ 1 | Nice game! Had fun playing it to the end. I like the art, music and gameplay. but it feels a little bit repetitive. loved the space physics. nicely done! Though it would be nice if there was some kind of feedback when you managed to collect a gem. |
| May 1 19:37:27 | 8m 06s | A Giant Hitch | ♥ 1 | Not gonna lie, that was amazing :D I really felt a connection to the giant block! The animation and physics were fun to watch. I do hope that you think about making more chapters. There is a story that needs to be told! -- |
| May 1 19:46:25 | 8m 58s | Cookie-World | ♥ 1 | this game is om nom nom nom! I liked the pysics and the sound effects, but it would be cool if it had an ending or an objective. after the cookie reaches a certain size, there is not much left to do. |
| May 1 20:07:07 | 20m 42s | Daily Routine: the smallest worlds are the ones we get stuck in | ♥ 2 | The concept fit the theme quite nicely. Good combination of humor and melancholy in a way. I tried very hard and probably broke my finger but 10 cps is above my skill level :( Still had a fun time! Muesli, muesli mjam mjam mjam! :D |
| May 1 20:17:50 | 10m 43s | Backyard Warriors | ♥ 1 | Nothing warms my heart more than the idea of little children trying to kill each other with sticks :) besides that: great character design! the gameplay could be a bit more versatile. It would be cool if you could hit up- and downwards. |
| May 1 20:53:07 | 35m 17s | a-small-world | ♥ 0 | I like the idea and love the credits, but did not manage to get past level two. (After 30 tries) :) |
| May 1 21:06:45 | 13m 38s | B-M0X | ♥ 0 | I have won the game, but i am not absolutely sure how i did that. :) It would be nice to have a better explanation or a tutorial of some sort. Really like the graphics, music and mood. |
| May 1 21:32:12 | 25m 27s | Hibernaculum | ♥ 1 | Really interessting concept. I almost love everything about this game, but the walking and rotating the snowglobe were a little bit frustrating from time to time. I think i would be great if the character could also move up and down. Then the game would feel a little less glitchy i think. besides that: great entry. one of the best so far. |
| May 2 16:05:01 | 18h 32m | Snowglobe | ♥ 3 | I like the concept and the idea behind it. I think you were not able to put all the mechanics in because of the stone which none of the units need. With a bit more balancing it would be more fun I think. Also a knight just went over the ledge of the globe and killed himself. Dont know if that was intended. :) But i had fun playing. ^^ |
| May 2 16:38:48 | 33m 47s | Petit Adventure | ♥ 1 | I encountered a bug in which three spider-sprites were always present in every fightscreen. The bug occured when I picked up the bunny. after that: Spiders everywhere! :D Besides that i really enjoyed the playthrough. I like the mechanics, visuals, storytelling (kawai dayooooo!!1!) and the level design. Overall quite polished game, good job! ^^ |
| May 2 21:17:27 | 4h 38m | House Escape | ♥ 1 | I like the Idea, visuals and room design of this game but it would be nice if it were longer. Besides that, I dont know if it is a bug but I randomly lost the items i have found. |
| May 2 21:42:11 | 24m 44s | Tomorrow or When the world is not bigger than a house | ♥ 2 | Very interesting idea, I like the whole concept, story and leveldesign. The visuals and sound added much to the mood. The game held me for quite some time but after 15+ days I just did not manage winning that video game. A little bit more feedback would be nice. More different messages at each daycicle would also work well i think. |
| May 2 22:00:06 | 17m 55s | Cosmic Cleaner | ♥ 4 | Very nice physics on that one. I really like the leveldesign and the gameplay. The planet animation is great! Well done! |
| May 2 22:11:56 | 11m 50s | Trindle Tabletop Experiment | ♥ 1 | The game just gets crazy after level 3, but I like it! The changes after each level came absolutely unexpected. :D |
| May 2 22:22:35 | 10m 39s | Sling Ship 🌏 | ♥ 1 | Really smooth physics in this game. I like the gameplay, it is quite challenging but very addictive too. Great Job! |
| May 2 22:32:06 | 9m 31s | Spermicorn | ♥ 2 | The world needs a sequel!! That was honestly the weirdest and funniest game I've ever played on a ludum dare! Just great! :D |
| May 3 18:47:38 | 20h 15m | Path of the Rabbit | ♥ 1 | Well, this was awesome! Fantastic, innovative gameplay. Really enjoyed it once i got the hang of it. Impressive work, especially considering the time frame you had to work with all on your own. Good job! |
| May 3 19:01:25 | 13m 47s | Snowed In | ♥ 2 | This was quite a whimsical game. Really lovely story, leveldesign and atmosphere. The visuals and the narration fit just perfectly. One of the best i've played so far. |
| May 3 19:27:52 | 26m 27s | The Deep | ♥ 3 | you guys deserve a cookie ( a fancy cookie with sprinkels!) very innovative, atmospheric and complex. You made perfect use of the art style and sound design. The way you introduced all the mechanics was very effective and well paced. Not gonna lie, that is impressive! ;) |
| May 3 19:48:46 | 20m 54s | Petty Puny Planet 38 | ♥ 2 | As the official AwesomeAlliterationAlliance we take great offense in you using an unautherized alliteration in your game title! However your game was very nice, so we'll let it slide... for now! Ok, seriously that was a very enjoyable game and I really dig your sense of humor. Well thought out mechanic and variety. Quite polished indeed. The perfect game for people with a (mostly justified in my case) god complex! |
| May 3 20:11:48 | 23m 02s | Smalltrek | ♥ 1 | Really amazing game! It feels very thought out. the puzzles are challenging and versatile. There are so many mechanics and animations in the "overworld" and in the puzzles. The visuals and the sound were spot on. Great work! |
| May 8 18:45:50 | 118h 34m | Miniverse | ♥ 1 | After I discovered a bug that did not let me choose an item in a battle i tried to resize the screen and accidently closed the game with "escape". Sadly i lost all my progress. Maybe you should put that "end game button" somewhere else. :) However I really enjoyed the game until that happend. very interesting and innovative experience. The physics felt very smooth and the whole game feels really polished. I think there is a lot of potential in that kind of gameplay. Well done! |
| May 8 19:17:15 | 31m 25s | Super Squareface | ♥ 0 | I had a fun time until a camera bug occured. I died at the snowman in the ice area, after that the camera got stuck and did not follow me any further. (I played version 2) However, I like the overall concept. You made good use of the theme with that world rotation feature. If i had one complaint, it would be the amount of checkpoint. Its too damn high. :) All in all, fun and solid game. |
| May 8 19:40:13 | 22m 58s | Small World | ♥ 1 | I was really impressed with what you did in game maker. I wasn't sure that it's possible to craft something nice and pretty in its 3D Engine. The leveldesign was nice and intuitive. The character animation is great! However, I got quite frustrated at level 6, because the random levelgeneration just generated unsolveable maps. :/ The isometric view looks really nice, but also has its flaws, i often thought i could land right there but fell into nothing. ^^ But besides that, really nice entry there! |
| May 8 19:58:00 | 17m 47s | Small Dead World | ♥ 0 | Hey there, nice little entry for your first participation in a ludum dare event! I am a fan of sidescrolling shooter games and had fun playing yours. :) However I encountered a few bugs.. the character can jump infinetely (outside the game window) and his gravitation when landing is so high that he glitches through the ground. Also the variety of the zombiespeed is great but can lead to moments in which the zombies fell right onto your head. :/ If you worked that out and maybe put a few extras in (like some extra weapons and SUPER ZOMBIE MODE or something like that) it could add very much to the mood. all in all you're on the right track! Keep it up :) |
| May 8 20:07:38 | 9m 38s | Small World Battles | ♥ 0 | Very funny multiplayer game. Nice character seletion and cute art style. A little bit chaotic, but still very entertaining! :) Mr Whiskers needs a spinoff ! |
| May 9 19:37:21 | 23h 29m | MORE | ♥ 1 | really cute game :) if there was a bit more content and variety then it might be more fun to fly around and explore. But nevertheless I enjoyed playing it. |
| May 9 20:31:50 | 54m 29s | Globe Trot | ♥ 3 | It really had fun playing this! The camera feels a bit weird, I think maybe it would be easier if the planet was a little bit bigger. I would love to trash structures on that planet too. However, well made entry, had lots of fun. pew pew! |
| May 9 20:45:59 | 14m 09s | Strangeness | ♥ 1 | Nice puzzle game. The leveldesign is great. The learning curve is a bit off i think. I had the most problems at level one and thought level 2-5 were much easier, but maybe thats just me. :) All in all, I had a fun time playing this game. |
| May 9 21:05:38 | 19m 39s | A Rat's Story | ♥ 0 | Very unique game, the mood was great. Solid entry there. |
| May 12 19:09:46 | 70h 04m | Little Infinity | ♥ 1 | Great Leveldesign. You're introducing the mechanics very smoothly. The audio was also very nice and atmospheric. The only thing that could be better in my opinion are the walking controls. It feels like the direction is not updated very often when you hold the mouse button, but you can still work around that. I was a little bit surprised when i suddenly stood in the starting room again, but i didn't mind. :) Really enjoyed this entry, good work! |
| May 12 20:12:02 | 1h 02m | Super Natural Defense | ♥ 1 | so, when I finished the game and got to the option to "quit" or "restart", the "quit"-button didn't work. I don't know if that was your intension, but if it was: well played, sir! earned you some additional points for "humor" :) I also thought the mechanics to be nicely balanced, not too easy and not too hard. Good job |
| May 12 20:38:12 | 26m 10s | Nucleu | ♥ 0 | Excellent take on the theme. Nice conclusion at the end :) Took me a second before I realised what I had to do, but when I did, I really enjoyed the feedback the game gave me. How the audio and visuals progressively changed was quite atmospherical. The only thing that felt a bit out of place (in my opinion) was the art style of the player character. The green tone was a bit hard on the eyes compared to the rest of the game, but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable to play! |
| May 12 21:14:25 | 36m 13s | Galactic Girl and the Puzzle Planets | ♥ 2 | I really liked the art style, fit wellwith the sound design. The level design was also well done, the learning curve was just right. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was the way the friction worked when jumping on other platforms. It reminded me of an ice level mechanic with the sliding effect. I'm more of a pixel-perfect precision platforming kinda guy, so that might be more of a subjective opinion :) nontheless solid entry! |
| May 12 21:49:19 | 34m 54s | It's a Small World | ♥ 1 | I am not sure it is a bug or if it just happens on my keyboard, but i cant press Q,A,W and S at the same time.. So unfortunetly I couldn't play it till the end. I was curious to see how you resolved this storyline. Maybe it sounds a bit strange, but i really like the text animation in this entry. It feels like a typewriter mechanic. Well made. :) |
| May 14 18:36:43 | 44h 47m | To do list | ♥ 2 | on the one hand: very nice art style and the music was also excellently handled (got better with every day) Had fun playing it. on the other hand : have any of you considered therapy? :D no, seriously nice take on the theme and the gameplay was very smoothly without being shoved in your face. You either knew where to go immediately or were able to figure it out in a short time. |
| May 18 08:55:00 | 86h 18m | Wood Womb | ♥ 1 | Very short but fun game. Nice physics and great humor, solid entry! A few more levels would be nice. |
| May 18 09:19:59 | 24m 59s | Trees | ♥ 1 | I like the idea of this game and had fun playing it, good job. The only thing that was a bit frustrating to me, was the world expanding. I think it would be more addicting if the player could keep the upgrades. |
| May 18 17:28:46 | 8h 08m | Ruler of Survival | ♥ 2 | To be honest, i first skipped the tutorial because it was just to long for my taste. I felt a little overwhelmed by the length of the text in each textbox. In the game I had no idea what to do. I thought pressing 1, 2 or 3 on the keyboard would give me the chance to put trees down, but that didn't work. :) So back to the Tutorial, this time I read anything and knew what to do. At this stage I really enjoyed the game and played for quite some time. I think the tutorial and the controls could scare of many players. Thats a pity because as soon as I understood the game, i really liked it. My suggestions to improve the experience are: - Make the tutorial smaller, maybe show the mechanics through gameplay, and learn one thing a a time, instead of everything in one big tutorial. - The controls are a bit strange because you have to let go of the mouse to choose something to build. I think it would be easier to play if the player could plant trees and fire by pressing the associated number keys. Thats it. Apart from these suggestions I really like the idea of this game. The mixture of 3D and 2D graphics works nicely and the big amount of content in this entry is really impressive for two days of work. Well done! P.S.: I think constructive feedback is great and would like to see more on my game too. if want to give it a try, here it is: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/classical-conditioning-cooperation-ccc |
| May 18 17:55:59 | 27m 13s | smallworld | ♥ 1 | The gameplay could be a little bit smoother. I kept dying all the time, and wished for a bigger map to move around and dodge the enemy. However I really like the polish of this game! The eyes animation when bouncing of walls, the cutscenes and dialogue are great! the tutorial leads you step by step into the gameplay. The ending in the stomach is also really nice. |
| May 18 19:13:21 | 1h 17m | Planetary Remains | ♥ 1 | Nice music at the start of the game, is it on purpose that there is only music in the menu screen but not in game? aside from that, the basic mechanics are intriguing but not used to their full potential, I think. Got a bit stale after a few minutes. But considering this is a Compo entry it's still very impressive what you managed to pull of in that short time. Enjoyed playing :) |
| May 18 19:20:25 | 7m 04s | The Hungry Planet | ♥ 1 | The controls are quite unique, i enjoyed that. Besides that, it would be nice to have a bit more gameplay, as it gets a bit repetitive after a short time. Maybe more asteroides or something to increase the difficulty. |
| May 18 19:33:56 | 13m 31s | At It Like Rabbits! | ♥ 1 | Nice Concept. I like resource managing games a lot. At first I had no idea what I had to do. I was a bit confused regarding the Items you could unlock. I don't see the reason why it's not possible to see what you are about to unlock before you do it. Also, it took me a while before I knew which resources had which purpose. (Maybe rethink the way the GUI works? Just a thought, not a criticism) I got the hang of it after some time and then it was pretty fun :) Overall very nice job! |
| May 18 21:29:50 | 1h 55m | Final Front: Planetary Defence | ♥ 0 | I think the rocket shooting enemies have a bit too much health, but i had fun playing this game. nice entry for a compo. |
