Very solid compo entry, and a good use of the theme; I'd have some minor nitpicky complaints that it is a bit on the easy side, the unlocks are 'blind buys' rather than signposted what they will be before purchasing, and sometimes it is hard to see a resource location because a rabbit is sat on top of it, but these are definitely nitpicking given the time constraints in making a compo entry. The controls are very intuitive, and everything works 'as expected'.

Good entry!

Took me some time to understand what I had to do, as mrnyarlathotep said hiding the locked content is a bit frustrating. But in the end I managed to launch the rocket :) Graphics are okay and the music is a bit repetitive but for a game made in 48h I think this is really good :) Nice job !

I can't play! I have got this alert message: "The browser could not allocate enough memory for the WebGL content. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating less memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings."

I just realized that I really like this game! It is fun and easy, but the real time pressures you! My only qualms with this game is that the graphics could perhaps be a bit more intuitive, but I won on just my third try! I love how the audio is extremely simple and repetitive yet still works great for the game.

Nice complete game. Though it's very hard at first, and very easy when you get it (Just place baskets next to the source). Ideally (especially for strategy games) we want the opposite: easy to pickup but hard to master, but I suppose balancing a game takes more time than 48 hours.

I feel that the small bits of user experience could be improved and polished more, like having a warning when food is low, or when loss is imminent. Also, the "blind buys", as the other person has already said.

Aside from gameplay, I liked the *smooth performance* and the clear audio.

Tricky resource game. I never really understood why I would need to rotate the planet? I liked the rabbits though :-)

Thanks everyone for the feedback so far!

I agree that the blind buy mechanic is less than ideal and has no real value for the game. As time was running out I never got round to finishing my shop system and was forced to implement the blind buying as a quick fix XD

This was the first time I attempted a strategy game for LD and I learnt the hard way the sheer amount of code a balancing required. This meant that I had less time than I would have liked to polish the graphics, audio and tutorial.

Anyway, I look forward to hearing more feedback. Happy Ludum Daring to all!

This is a very good compo entry!

The gameplay is simple, but challenging at first. The discreet sound and cute graphics aids it well, because they're both very well made and fit well together. And I have to say, when I put a basket right next to a gathering point, the rapid sounds and super fast numbers increase felt extremely rewarding.

Overall, I'm impressed that you managed to nail the graphics, audio **and** gameplay all by yourself in the 48-hour compo. Your game is complete, and performs above average in every category. Good job!

Overall 5 stars! Once you get to know how to play it becomes easy though but it's still super fun (The SFX levels up the whole game btw)~ It would be better if adding more elements in the future!~

rockhoppergames 2017-05-05 17:30

It's clear you didn't have as much time as you would have liked to develop your idea, but I hope the learning experience was worth it anyway! Hopefully you can make something impressive out of this sometime!

Nice Concept. I like resource managing games a lot. At first I had no idea what I had to do. I was a bit confused regarding the Items you could unlock. I don't see the reason why it's not possible to see what you are about to unlock before you do it. Also, it took me a while before I knew which resources had which purpose. (Maybe rethink the way the GUI works? Just a thought, not a criticism) I got the hang of it after some time and then it was pretty fun :) Overall very nice job!

hunttis 2017-05-18 20:12

Nice game. It could maybe use some warnings like "about to overpopulate" or something :D The basket placement is apparently random? I had the research basket spawn right next to the resource and the numbers were shooting up :D

Haha, this is a great game! Too bad it's so short, I really enjoyed it :) Nice art assets too. Everything's great, good job! Make more of it.

vivoubos 2017-05-18 20:25

Hey! That game is difficult the two first game. But after I understand and it's quite easy ^^

Nice concept it was fun to play at this game :) The music is nice, not crazy but not bad! Good job anyway! Rabbit are so smart in the futur, they can build rocket!!

dick-claus 2017-05-18 20:34

Pretty challenging game indeed.

But I've managed to launch the rocket.

At first the balance was right, but then too easy. Great job, and this is a solid game for LD.

siridakis 2017-05-18 23:45

Great idea! The game is very interesting, too bad I suck at it hahaha The rocket design couldn't be more appropriate.
