| Apr 29 16:11:00 | Hanoka | As daandruff already mentioned, you should probably check the compo rules.

Game looked nice, music choice was fitting and the basic gameplay concept was solid and fun. What I did not like though was the fact that you had to have some of the updates to be able to progress (mainly swim speed). This meant that I had to grind for a bit because I unlocked all the damage bonuses first. The updates also felt somewhat unbalanced and I managed to skip the update screen once in the heat of the game. The volume and quality of the voiceover was also all over the place, and they did get somewhat repetitive. | |
| Apr 29 16:23:00 | 12m 00s | Rabbit Hole | There I am, hopping around trying out the controls and getting used to how the bunny handles... WHAM, a bird appears and instantly kills me. "You Died". Welcome to the Rabbit Hole.

Yeah, the gameplay was way too fast and somewhat dull, but the graphics were actually quite nice in their simpleness. Audio was there. I guess. Good job finishing something for your first Ludum Dare!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 16:33:00 | 10m 00s | Wormonger | Well, they do say that there is only a fine line between genius and madness. I think this might be the latter though.

Would have liked more to eat. Would have wanted to know what was going on. Now I can't die in peace, only in pieces. For I have made myself a worm.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 16:44:00 | 11m 00s | Going Down | Heh, high score of 742. Good luck beating that!

Gameplay was very simple, so of course it got repetitive quickly. Not much strategy involved, since I couldn't react to the spikes in time. Instead I just held the button for a time that felt right, jumped, and repeated till I died. Graphics were simple, but they got the job done, didn't like the gaps in the foreground wall texture though. Music was so damn repepepepepepepepepepepepepepetive.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 17:28:00 | 44m 00s | Invasion from Below | Mini-mines indeed, impressive feat of engineering! Was expecting a Missile Commander-esque game from the screenshot and you didn't disappoint! Faced a steep difficulty wall but after overcoming it the game got way too easy so I max(x)ed out the upgrades and just let it idle. Managed to survive for 5 rounds even without the mouses lasers and bombs :D.

A little audio would've added a lot, as others have already mentioned.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 17:38:00 | 10m 00s | Murder Clown | This is the second time today I get to ponder whether something is genious or just plain madness. And I've only rated 5 other games so far. This theme might be too deep for me :D.

Certainly the best interactive clownscape so far though!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 18:25:00 | 47m 00s | Final Move | I was expecting a lot more from this, the download is nearly 50MB after all. On that note, why is the intro made up of 448 individual images?! Oh, and the intro was just a black screen for me. The game itself was also extremely buggy, had to restart it multiple times to finish it. For instance things wouldn't react to my clicks, and I couldn't advance (the doctor just walked to dad the first time and stood there silently, while Marco kept calling me a dumbass). Marco also liked to take walks all by himself, just to stop after a few steps. All this on X64 W7.

Quite frankly did not enjoy this. The art was nice, expect for that cat which felt totally out of place. Oh, and its dialogue didn't display any c:s or z:, which is kind of important for lolcat. The only thing I remember from the audio is Marco calling me a dumbass. I'm glad he died. I hate Marco.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 18:45:00 | 20m 00s | Operation Blind October | Interesting concept, but either the implementation needs some work or I just don't get it. It felt somewhat bland and then the difficulty setting suddenly turned to 11 :P. Loved the style and mood though, good job.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 19:46:00 | 1h 01m | HotWater | Not the most riveting or beautiful game, but a game nonetheless. Good job!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 20:05:00 | 19m 00s | Syndrome | Only got the first one right, I'm not much of a psychologist I guess :P. Did not see that ending coming either. The graphics are somewhat weird, but they work. Same thing with the audio. Pretty interesting little game.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 20:21:00 | 16m 00s | Hammerfall | Bleh, made it to phase 2 two times in ten or so tries, but died almost instantly after that :P. Those lancers really are quite something.

Nice graphics and simple yet interesting gameplay. Easy to learn, hard to master. Really solid game, even if I won't get to see the endgame.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 20:44:00 | 23m 00s | Herbert Crawler | Not much of a game in this state, but the framework seems to be there. The graphics are really nice, but the game is really too dark like Jason Lay mentioned. The dark does compliment your lighting though :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 21:05:00 | 21m 00s | Bound by the Ground | Phew, some of the maps were indeed quite hard but I did manage to finish it (had to see all the rhymes you had come up). To anyone else playing: the difficulty is really irregular, for me atleast the 3rd stage was the hardest one.

Graphics are ok, audio was super repetitive though. Gameplay was like a more interesting version of Flappy Bird. Also why would I ever want to jump into a well if I had freaking rocket boots!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 21:30:00 | 25m 00s | Mine Cannon | Certainly the prettiest game I've played so far, could've used some more audio though for a more complete package.

While I liked the idea the game was super hard (in an annoying way) because of the inverted mouse control. Even after getting to level 8 or so after lots and lots of trying I still couldn't aim reliably. The game being windowed made it a lot worse, because I accidentally clicked on my desktop or other open windows.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 21:39:00 | 9m 00s | Under The Surface of All This Stress | Too bad your original project didn't come to fruition. I hope channeling your frustration into this little game helped at least a bit :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 21:57:00 | 18m 00s | Beneath The Surface Of Scratch Ticket | That was intense! Managed to take home 31$ because of the 10$ ticket I was forced to buy. Really unique game with interesting gameplay and nice graphics and music.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 22:05:00 | 8m 00s | Suck My Dig! | Short but decent game, worked really nice with a controller. Would love to see this concept in a full-fledged game with maybe a bank-robbing theme or something, calculating tunnel lengths and hiding from the guards :P.

Not a big fan of dying when trying to resurface under a wall. Didn't like the fact that guards could see you inside a building either.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 22:28:00 | 23m 00s | Cordyceps | Game with a cordyceps theme? Count me in!

Interesting control-scheme, although it did favor going slow and steady like SuperIzzo already mentioned.

Liked the graphics, the ambient background sound and also the sound effects too, good job! |
| Apr 29 22:40:00 | 12m 00s | Rage against the Rectangles | Controller controls are super finicky, you should probably define some analog-stick dead-zones to make it better. Other than that it ran fine.

I also recommend you to read this: http://scientificninja.com/blog/write-games-not-engines. Sure, it's an interesting idea to make your game easily moddable like this, but at least I don't find it very fun if it's supposed to be the main feature.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 23:08:00 | 28m 00s | Beyond The Surface The Chaos Rises | 150MB unzipped?! Dayumn, thats a lot of content! Took me quite a long time to figure out what I was doing, but after that the game was simple enough. Even more so after my junk robot turned into a killerbot :D.

The card texts were all over the place and full of typos, and I got so many cards that I couldn't even read my cards' texts anymore. The game also crashed when I tried to use "Feed" on Mother of roach.

The game was also way too easy, because getting killer bots with four combat rolls and psychics with 3 stealth rolls let you just steamroll everything (exept for hackers).

Looks good, but isn't much fun to play.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 29 23:24:00 | 16m 00s | OMAGAD BIRDS ! | Why does it take so much space and such a long time to load? Why is the FPS 5? These are just some of the questions I pondered while the game tried to unpause itself, after which I was instantly killed by a bird.

Well, at least you made something, good job. |
| Apr 29 23:41:00 | 17m 00s | Another Day at Work | Web version seems to freeze when I click the left mousebutton and the entities used to trigger different events are visible in the executable, forming "passable walls".

Not much to do. Simple and clean artstyle. A walking sound would probably have been a nice addition.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 30 00:14:00 | 33m 00s | Alien Buddy: Beneath the Surface of a New Mexico Landfill | I started my gaming career with NES, so I didn't have first hand experience on E.T. for Atari 2600, but after hearing A LOT about it on the net, I just knew I had to try this one out.

I had no idea what was happening. I thought the music would break my headphones. I still don't know what some of those graphics resemble. I loved it!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 30 00:33:00 | 19m 00s | The Missing Potato | "One day you were walking and decided to jump into a hole and now you have to find a potato!". That sounds so stupid I couldn't help but play it!

I did not expect that dynamic lighting or potato-physics, awesome surprise! That walking animation really is the best. Gameplay was pretty mediocre, but the story made it a good bit of fun.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 30 00:52:00 | 19m 00s | A Bank Heist on Christmas | Yes. I see. Mhm. Indeed. WAIT WHAT?

Interesting... experience. No doubt about that.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 30 17:42:00 | 16h 50m | Two Sided | Hm, those audio files make the download quite large. And the audio just stopped after Black Star played once. Took me probably over 10 minutes to get out of the maze, can't navigate at all when everything looks the same. Maybe paint the tiles the player has already walked on or add something to the walls to help with navigating. Not much to do at the moment either, like others have mentioned. The surface world looked pretty nice, but you probably shouldn't make the skybox from voxels :P. |
| Apr 30 18:01:00 | 19m 00s | Electric Sieve | Only got a bit over 30 points after maybe 10 tries. And my eyes hurt. Did not enjoy that static sound either.

The gameplay was annoyingly difficult, letting the sieve move just a bit too far almost always meant failure, at least for me. The difficulty between the different triangle formations was also all over the place, because it felt like you lose the same amount of "health" no matter how many poles you hit.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 30 18:13:00 | 12m 00s | Underground Siege | Crashed after pressing play and seeing the game screen. And then after maybe a minute of gameplay on my second try.

Id rather have no background music than the current one. The graphics are decent. Controls weren't too good, because you had to completely let go off both A and/or D before you could change your direction, otherwise the player would just stop. The player is also somewhat too big, and limiting the movement to two directions made dodging the bullets kinda hard and the gameplay somewhat dull. The enemy AI wasn't too hot either.

At the moment it just feels like a crippled SHMUP.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 30 19:04:00 | 51m 00s | Beneath the Game Developer | Interesting idea, but the gameplay was rather lacking. Should've used some voice synthesizer for voice overs akin to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGar7KC6Wiw :P. |
| Apr 30 19:22:00 | 18m 00s | Geofront | Ha, the boss just flew by me. Even tried it twice, couldn't kill him fast enough :(.

The hit detection seemed ok, but the enemies reacted to the hits pretty randomly. The basic enemies were too small for my tastes, at least compared to the player ship. Gameplay was somewhat slow and easy too. Not a fan of mashing the shooting button in SHMUPs either. Really liked the visuals and the audio though, sound effects would've been really cool.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 30 19:36:00 | 14m 00s | Safecracker | Doesn't work for me either. Even after installing VC++ Redist 2013 and copying the DLL from windows32 to the game folder, I get the same error as LewisW. Shame, because the screenshot and idea seems kickass. |
| Apr 30 19:50:00 | 14m 00s | Hell Bender | A Game By Skull Code | The other commentors have already pretty much summed it up. You should've gone for quality over quantity. The game also froze shortly after I encountered an invincible skeleton-thingy at the platform up high and tried jumping around the platform walls.

The climbing mechanic was somewhat fun at least and the game did work (for the most part).

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 30 20:09:00 | 19m 00s | Cognitive Dissonance | Lovely game, even got me a bit teary-eyed. Would've loved a clear indicator of which of us won, something simple like changing the character sprites a bit to reflect that would've worked wonders.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| Apr 30 23:47:00 | 3h 38m | Radix | 301m after a couple of tutorial runs (had to do the tutorial twice, since I thought the mice were invisible when in fact they were just perfectly camouflaged into the background :P).

We also made a growing simulator for last Ludum Dare, but it wasn't nearly as fancy as this. Lovely implementation.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 00:00:00 | 13m 00s | FuMeKuRi (page-turner) | Lovely atmosphere, made me smile.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 00:33:00 | 33m 00s | Blunderer | Played trough the easy mode, and thought that the game would be much more interesting if the ball had huge inertia. Good thing I also tried hard mode! So much better (even though it took me 10 minutes 50 seconds to pass the first "layer" :D). After the initial relaxation I did get somewhat bored though.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 01:07:00 | 34m 00s | Kitsuni | Wonderful mood (some slowly falling snowflakes would've made it perfect), but the controls did feel somewhat wonky. Would've also been better if the current "possessed" animal was highlighted or something. Didn't like having to walk trough the same areas over and over again either. And the ending was pretty meh. And I guess I just said what everyone has already said :D.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 12:08:00 | 11h 01m | LAIR M.D. | Great graphics, sounds and an awesome amount of polish! The game does indeed have a steep learning curve, but after a few practice runs I managed to make it to where I had to diagnose 10 goblins. Prodder and the SnifferImp usually diagnosed the problem, or atleast left it as a 50:50 choice :D.

Would've been cool, if there were a few difficulty levels with maybe different round time, amount of goblins to diagnose, different pool of possible symptoms and diseases etc., but yeah, that's not really feasible in the LD timeframe now is it. Some kind of tutorial would've also helped to ease the player into the game.

All in all, a really great game!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 12:25:00 | 17m 00s | Happy Fishing | Now that is INNOVATION. I'll be really surprised if you don't score highly at least on that! Not too interesting as far as the gameplay goes though.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 12:35:00 | 10m 00s | Nevermind | Not the most riveting gameplay out there, but good job on finishing something for your first Ludum Dare!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 12:44:00 | 9m 00s | Scratch | The simplistic graphics style worked wonders, but for me the story wasn't all that compelling. Too bad I also spoiled myself a bit on the other comments :(.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 12:55:00 | 11m 00s | Magnum | Unplayable for me. The FPS is horribly low (~3), and I need to smash the correct button around 10 times before it registers. I also die for no apparent reason (the shuriken has just entered the screen) after just 3 letters :(. I'll check back later and see if you've managed to fix this.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 13:16:00 | 21m 00s | Go Below The Ground | Took a couple of reloads to get the menu working. Managed to double jump and even triple jump once for some reason. The timer was also running into the negative :P. And I couln't jump when I was at the edge of a platform or on a slope.

Definitely got a Blaster Master vibe from this.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 14:14:00 | 58m 00s | Go! Go! Purgatory! | The art was superb, no complaints there. Audio worked well enough as well. The basic premise is interesting, but the dialogue and story felt too random. Played trough twice though. Nice humour. Also noticed the lines that GrooveMan described when playing fullscreen (1080p monitor).

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 14:38:00 | 24m 00s | Metro Lance | Really needed some fast paced music to make it feel better, just listened to some random fast techno song from youtube while playing :P. I also agree with what yo_milo said about the juicyness. This could feel so damn epic if polished. Could use some balancing, just staying at the middle most of the time with double jump was too easy. Finished it on my second try. Cool ending.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 15:02:00 | 24m 00s | Beneath The Darkness | Good enemy and gun variation, but the A.I. was way too basic. Especially the grenadiers just kept killing themselves :D. Like others have mentioned, the collision boxes didn't feel good at all. Was also somewhat easy, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, considering I don't have to struggle while playing trough it. It was a satisfying experience, thanks.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 15:19:00 | 17m 00s | Gun Wo IIIIIII | For some reason I don't know how to play turn based grid games at all. Didn't manage to beat it even after three tries. Lovely character creation. And I felt like I was indeed beneath the surface :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 15:54:00 | 35m 00s | Tenkosei ROBO | Damn, crashed my browser (Pale Moon v: 24.4.2 (x64) after I met my "future self" and typed "God damnit." :/. Crashed again after reaching my future self and typing the first word. Managed to finish it on the latest version of Chrome though.

Grinned like a madman while playing this. Awesomely whimsical "story" and atmosphere. Lovely experience. I think this has the best implementation of typing based gameplay out of all the similar games I've played so far. Too bad for you though, I am also a robot. BEEP BOOP.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 16:01:00 | 7m 00s | NanoDog | Damn, walked in to a room and almost instantly lost 2 whole hearts, talk about bad luck :P. Still managed to finish it on the first try. Nothing too fancy, but a nice little game!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 16:13:00 | 12m 00s | Oshan: Exploring The Endless Deep Ocean Humans Left Behind | Too bad you had to scrap your original project, althought this wasn't too bad either. Don't lose your way.

Lovely graphics, just slap some audio on it, fix the bugs (objects spawn over other objecst) and give the player some inertia and it'd be pretty good already.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 16:18:00 | 5m 00s | Lounge Lord | Managed to immerse me for a few minutes :P. Sweet style you got going.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 16:26:00 | 8m 00s | Ice Fishing Mystery | Yeah, that's pretty much how my ice fishing experiences have also been. Would've been really cool if it was in 3D, and you could observe the blinding whiteness all around you. Maybe even see a snow covered forest on the shore. And a house here and there. And then it would start getting dark. Damn, now I'm totally in a winter mood, even though summer is just starting :D.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 16:57:00 | 31m 00s | A boy and his Hellworm | Goddamn, didn't even manage to kill the second boss after a lot of trying. I just couldn't get a good grasp on the controls. Sure they were tight, but I just couldn't make my character to do what I wanted. Nice graphics and effects. Would've liked an epic background tune to go with it.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 1 18:34:00 | 1h 37m | Grimlock's Lair | Phew, managed to beat it on my first try with 6hp left. Good graphics and effects and the gameplay, while basic, worked nicely. Thanks for the spoiler alert! |
| May 1 18:46:00 | 12m 00s | Mermaid Scientist Massacre | Damn, didn't notice the whole massacre part while opening this, I just thought being a Mermaid Scientist would be awesome. I guess this works too :P.

Played trough it by spamming the spacebar like a madman.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 2 17:33:00 | 22h 47m | In the Lair of a Basilisk | Hm, I actually kinda liked the controls, felt very refreshing. Got a bit startled at first, but the basilisk didn't seem capable of following me, so the overall atmosphere was somewhat dull. Not much replayability either at the moment. Maybe you should just leave the level design to procedural generation if it really is your weak point.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 2 18:07:00 | 34m 00s | Beneath | Not a huge fan of roguelikes, but still played this for quite a while because I got to keep my inventory upon death. Encountered one bug where the item icons in my backbag wouldn't match the items though (they were off by one I think). Liked the auto pathfinding, but I think using both the mouse (for long distances) and the keyboard (for single rooms) would've been easier for me. Too many small rooms and corridors for my tastes too.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 2 18:16:00 | 9m 00s | ASCII: Beneath the Surface | Interesting! Somewhat short though. Nice ascii art, but I'll really have to think about how I'll rate this on the graphics :D.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 2 21:33:00 | 3h 17m | Spider Miner | Not much more than a moving (and spinning :P) player sprite and some controllable doors at the moment. I feel like the mechanic could be taken somewhere with lava or the aforementioned spiders though. Maybe both. Or maybe the game should take place in space!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 2 22:08:00 | 35m 00s | Moon Harvest | Didn't like the fact that the background integrated into the game window seamlessly, because it made it a lot easier to go out of bounds. Same with trying to keep the mouse cursor inside the playarea. Simple but nice graphics, somewhat simplistic gameplay. Could've used a background song. Finished on second try with a bit over 3000 score.

Damn space dolphins, in the name of the Emperor I declare Exterminatus upon your planet!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 2 22:43:00 | 35m 00s | C=AVERUNNER | Gave it a few tries, 110 was my final score. Pretty good, but too slow. There were sometimes long strips of land with only mushrooms on them. Some of the coins were also placed so that they were cruelly hard to pick up. The beat also starts getting interesting too late. Still managed to get maybe 1 or 2 good tunes out of it. Jumping didn't feel too good, you should add some inertia to the player character. Juicing the game up (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fy0aCDmgnxg) would've made it feel a lot better.

Good job on your first Construct2 game.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 2 22:58:00 | 15m 00s | Planetary Fruit Miner | Yay, a top score of 18600.

Should've added a bonus for clearing the whole planet. The game also calculated the score incorrectly if you managed to get a fruit on your last turn (it didn't count towards total score). The UI was pretty unintuitive, and I would've preferred if the tool didn't deselect after using it. The fruits sometimes stuck out of the planet too, made me grin a bit.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 2 23:50:00 | 52m 00s | A Mole's Life | Must've played this for like half an hour even though I should probably be sleeping. Shame about the audio. I just listened to a Finnish children's song about the wonders of life instead on repeat. Worked wonders and got me thinking of life. Of course the inevitable happened in the end, after a lot of struggling :(. Here's what I came up with https://www.dropbox.com/s/vh4hr6ekdlshi1m/no_one_lives_forever.png.

I understand the time constraints, but this would've been absolutely lovely if it had seasons that changed the game around a bit (amount of food, how easy it is to dig, amount of rainwater etc). Would've added to the mood had I struggled trough some harsh winters before eventually perishing.

Loved the controls and navigating in the tunnels too, since you needed something to grab onto to be able to climb. The water physics were a bit buggy, but were indeed nice when they worked!

Got totally sucked in. Fresh idea and nice execution considering the time limit. I found it awesome that you actually looked a bit into the subject before starting, now that's devotion!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 3 00:07:00 | 17m 00s | Sub Rosa | Yay, managed to slay the vampire on my first try. Luck might have been involved though. Graphics and audio (Vampire Masquerade <3) created an awesome mood, lolled at the player character and the run animation after that menu super cool menu though. I hope you could've made the gameplay more interesting (more clues and more complex clues etc.), but it's decent considering the time limit. I guess I'll also have to mention the Skyrim reference since no one else has already done so :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 3 00:24:00 | 17m 00s | Infernal Machine | Had to play this after seeing the name! Looks like I beat you though, got a score of 260 on my second try :P. Really nice what you managed to do in such a short time. Nice waste of a few minutes... And a few more :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 3 00:46:00 | 22m 00s | The Underground Millionaire | Collecting coins is indeed satisying. The sound effects were also fitting, even though the jump sound went absolutely bonkers when ever you held the jump button in a 1 tile high space :P. Graphics weren't really my cup of tea, but the worked. Here's some other things I didn't find too much fun either:
- Enemies shooting you before you can see them
- Your bullets disappearing at the edge of the screen(?). Made killing one of the enemies pretty annoying.
- Bullets traveling trough ground

Good job for 48 hours.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 3 16:23:00 | 15h 37m | Betarded | Damn, the zip was named Win and inside was just shit (shit.exe and shit_Data, really :P?). No need to be so emo about it, you managed to get surprisingly much done, even managed to kill a slime-pumpkin-rabbit before it killed me. Maybe try something a bit less ambitious next time?

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 3 16:43:00 | 20m 00s | Jetpack Caverns | Really juicy and fun to play. Controlled awesomely too. All I can really say is that I would've loved more content, but for something made in 48 hours it was more than enough!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 3 17:01:00 | 18m 00s | Soul Ninja | Good job on this, although I was quite horrible since I don't play all that many platformers. Played the story mode almost exclusively zoomed out :P. Lovely climbing mechanic, although a bit slow. Didn't really like the combat but still tried the survival mode too, since you managed to include it!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 3 17:23:00 | 22m 00s | Surface Runner | Would've been better if the speed continuously increased or something. Pretty boring at the moment. The transition between worlds instead of jumping gave it somewhat of a twist though.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 3 20:43:00 | 3h 20m | Walking on thin ice... | Great atmosphere and good challenging gameplay. The fact that you can't see very far makes it all the more atmospheric (and challenging). Needs a real player model -> Maybe put little flippers and a tail on the cube and it's a babby seal! My best score: 414 \o/ Joona@MooseflyGames |
| May 3 20:54:00 | 11m 00s | Breathless | Yay, another pipe-game! Although the gameplay in this one is that of a piece-moving puzzle instead of our traditional Pipe Dream approach. Managed to complete it in 223 actions total, but it crashed when I tried to quit it. I usually end up brute forcing my way trough these kind of games instead of taking the time to figure it out. Really enjoyable puzzler though.

Noticed a bug I guess. When I had a square piece in the slot of an L piece I could only select the L piece. Same with any kind of piece in the slot really. Would've also liked it if releasing the piece without moving it didn't count as an action.

I'm not sure if posting this comment was too wise though; now the people playing this might play our game too and hate it, seeing how people have been praising the lack of timer and all that :D!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 3 21:07:00 | 13m 00s | Mr Tibbles Lost in the City of R'lyeh | Good solid game. Nice graphics and audio with fun gameplay and a nice challenge. Some kind of a grid on the floor would make it easier to plan your turn. Also, Mr Tibbles needs some animation. I would love to see more of this game!

Joona@MooseflyGames |
| May 3 21:15:00 | 8m 00s | Tainted Pineapples | This was a very fun game! :D Simple yet effective graphics and great audio. I don't know what else to say. Brilliant.

Joona@MooseflyGames |
| May 3 23:45:00 | 2h 30m | The Last Beacon | Trying to get better at Löve and Lua so I took it as a personal challenge to identify why the laser sometimes stops after destroying a block. Your code was... passionate :D. Took me quite a while to understand the way you are handling things (I still don't understand why your map arrays in mapX.lua files are flipped 90 degrees and mirrored, wouldn't it be easier to just make it so that the top left of your array is also the top left of your screen ;)).

The problem is this (can be repeated 100% of the time at the end of level 4):
In physics.lua inside Mirror_Behaviour the mirror pieces use an if - elseif - end, meaning that they value the other possible direction as an input over the other, because it gets checked first. The right-down mirror (line 81) happens to favour beams coming from the left (x + 1). Then we have a beam coming from beneath, going trough the mirror and "hitting" the block on the way. On the next check the mirror notices that there is also a beam next to it on the right (the beam it just projected!) and shoots a beam DOWN and then exits the function, never updating the projected beam. Restarting the laser works, because now the beam reaches the next mirror on the first try. I "fixed" it by changing the if - elseif - end into two separate if - end -blocks. While it doesn't get stuck anymore it now gets projected into both directions, so that when you shoot a mirror block it also shoots back at you :D. I'm not sure how you would go about fixing this bug because you don't store the direction of the beam anywhere. You could probably just store the points where the beams collided with something and keep polling if they get destroyed, after which you start a new beam going from there.

Ah, yes, there was a game to review! Some of the mechanics felt a bit silly (couldn't fire right next to a block etc.) but obviously the game would be too easy without them in place. The game was still somewhat easy, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing for a Ludum Dare game. I would've preferred if S-key just dismissed the rope instead of descending, I don't like using spacebar as a control key :P. The audio was pretty annoying, especially when you just had to wait for the beam to drill you a nice hole.

Damn. That's a long comment.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 4 14:40:00 | 14h 55m | GLUCKAUF TROLL | Using your logo as an in-game thingy? Check. Leaderboards? Check. Way to go ;).

Meh, got 200 deaths instead of 200 points :D (though I did get somewhat close). Loved the instant respawning, but some of the rock formations were so damn hard it made getting a high score more luck than skill based. Graphics were good as was the audio.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 5 12:04:00 | 21h 24m | Frack You | Yay, another pipe game!

Nothing much to add to the others really, but I found that winking victory smiley somewhat horrifying :D. The controls could've been made a lot better if you could scroll trough your current pipes with the mouse wheel or with 1, 2 and 3 keys. You managed to get quite a lot done in such a short time, good job!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 5 13:00:00 | 56m 00s | Ripple Runner | Really awesome what you managed to make in 48 hours. It looks good, it sounds good and it also plays good. There's a good amount of different mechanics and the difficulty was also spot on thanks to the generous placement of the checkpoints. And ripples are cool http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130104190712/jjba/images/8/83/Joseph_using_Ripple.png. I think @mortus is on to something about the controls, even if inverting with R might make them somewhat counter-intuitive if they were bound on the arrow keys for example.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 8 12:36:00 | 71h 36m | Makeshift Mouse King | Good graphics and nice audio. Needs a little polish here and there but it was enjoyable nonetheless. Well done! |
| May 8 13:02:00 | 26m 00s | Warpigs | This was awesome. +1/+0 Fighter rush kekekekekekekekekekeke!

Joona@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 18:32:00 | 53h 30m | Under The Surface | Somewhat confusing, felt like I was playing an ancient NES game or something even older :D. Really impressed at how much you managed to do, keep up the good work!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 18:45:00 | 13m 00s | Tank Game | Surprisingly engaging for an unfinished game, got my ass whooped "beneath the surface". The graphics weren't too good, I couldn't even read that buttonmap. Music was fitting, but the sound effects were somewhat irritating. Played fine with a controller, but you should probably set some deathzones on those analog sticks so that the turret stays where the stick was released. Also it felt like my weapons were getting worse whenever I managed to get a new one :(.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 18:57:00 | 12m 00s | The Last Packet of Pumpkin Seeds | Too bad there was no wind outside, I bet it would've felt good on my face. Didn't grow up with text adventures, but this was an enjoyable experience nonetheless! Really moody, but I would've also liked some human interaction.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 19:06:00 | 9m 00s | Lazor Fish | Crazy? Awesome? Crazy awesome! Somewhat simple, but pretty entertaining. Nice work on the walls and the water surface. Some of the fish dropped too quickly and were super hard to kill before they killed you. Graphics were good in their simpleness, but a kickass soundtrack would've added a lot.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 19:13:00 | 7m 00s | the digging game | Not much of a game at the moment. I think adding rain or something that would fill the tunnel would make it interesting though. That digging sound was horrible, had to lower my sound levels to the absolute minimum before it was bearable. The controls in the console are wrong :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 19:27:00 | 14m 00s | Lumberjack of souls | I expected a lot worse from the description, good job on your first Ludum Dare game! I think the game could've just used keyboard controls (AD + W to jump and maybe arrow keys for directional swings of the axe or something :P). Works great and looks ok.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 19:35:00 | 8m 00s | Beneath: the unfinished game | You only managed to make the tutorial part :P? Would've just liked to learn the controls and then be off to explore on my terms like BoTreats already mentioned. The textures were indeed quite horrible, felt like looking at static. Managed to pick the "red box" up without ever seeing it, and I didn't see any particles at the firewood either.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 19:45:00 | 10m 00s | Fishing On The Ice | Nice graphics and simple, but captivating gameplay! Some ambient background music would've done wonders to this game.

Anssi (King of Fishers)@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 19:56:00 | 11m 00s | Bouncer | Really novel take on the theme! Surprisingly fun to play too, I guess I really am a sucker for experience and grinding :D. The sounds did break after losing though.

Good job on your first Ludum Dare game!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 20:20:00 | 24m 00s | Youdunnit | Took me four tries but I did manage to blame the murder on someone else! Interesting twist to the whodunnit formula. Not a big fan of the humor though.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 20:57:00 | 37m 00s | Beneath the Surface - a 2D Puzzle-Platformer | Got some kind of a visual studio runtime error at level 11 after a lot of tries, and decided to call it a day. Might have been the same error that BadgerPriest mentioned. Running X64 Windows 7 Ultimate.

I liked the idea of controlling two separate entities, but I did not like the platforming aspect of it (I don't like platforming in general though...). Sometimes, for some reason, only one of the characters would jump when I pressed the jump key. And on level eight I had to check the tutorial to confirm that those jumps were indeed possible. The graphics were also somewhat too small. It took me way too long to realize that the spikes mentioned were those small toothpicks on the walls.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 21:16:00 | 19m 00s | RoBroMiner | I don't know what laws those rocks followed but they sure weren't the laws of physics I know :D. Neat game, although a bit heavy on trial and error because of the rocks.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 21:38:00 | 22m 00s | Dr. Pepsi Marriage Consultant | Looks like I'm not the only one who didn't realize you could multi-jump at first. I guess it was my preconception that surely a can of Pepsi wouldn't be able to multijump.

Loved the graphics and the text files. Ludum Dare games always manage to amaze me with their clever trickery :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 22:00:00 | 22m 00s | First timer effort. :) | Your comment really clarified the idea. I don't really understand why you needed both R and Space keys for the tablecloth though, but whatever :). Would've been cool if the win and loss states were a bit more clear, at the moment I wasn't really sure if I won or if the game just froze.

Also took a look at your code (even though I haven't really used Python), and it was surprisingly clean for someone who has just started programming. Keep up the good work!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 22:20:00 | 20m 00s | Hymn of the Moles | I swear some of those "notes" were off by just a few milliseconds to throw me off :P. Managed to finish it though, and especially the last song was synced really well. Don't know the source material, but I think it worked nicely despite that. I liked to varying movement patterns too.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 22:39:00 | 19m 00s | Beneath the Surface | Heh, good to see someone using the same tools (C++ and SFML) that we ourselves started with a few Ludum Dares earlier :).

The physics are somewhat wonky, sometimes I got shot straight down when trying to jump on the edge, and the bouncing made it somewhat difficult. The gameplay could've also been faster. The bubbles also disappeared after a few stages.

Also took a look at your code out of interest, and didn't find it too messy.

Good job managing to get something done for your first Ludum Dare! Even more so with the tools you used.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 22:58:00 | 19m 00s | In the Black | Managed to scrape together the agreed upon 10k$ after three tries. Felt like Cookie Clicker with a time limit in a good way! Lovely atmosphere with the banjo and the black and white graphics.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 23:17:00 | 19m 00s | Ice Hop | Funky soundtrack and nice visuals. I just kept spacebar pressed (infinite jumping with no jumping sound) and jumped trough the levels :D. I think the textures could've been a bit moore simple and cartoony though. More of a (somewhat) interactive adventure than a game. You could've shown a image with the text "Loading..." or something to make it more clear when the game was loading. First Blender-game I've seen so far, impressive stuff!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 10 23:54:00 | 37m 00s | Thought Police | Damn, didn't even learn about the psychics on my first run, but managed to make it out alive on my second. Nice art and well fleshed out story with some interesting twists and characters. Some of the choices didn't really play out like I thought they would, but that's a problem I usually have with VN:s.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 11 00:08:00 | 14m 00s | Surf's Down | Got to a depth of a little over 7k units and a score of around 3.5k after a few tries. Would've been cool if the background kept getting darker the farther you went. Some ambient background music would've also worked wonders. Not a fan of the single-bullet-on-screen mechanic, but I guess it added an interesting risk vs. reward mechanic.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 11 00:28:00 | 20m 00s | Water Miner | Sound effects are very lulzy and the graphics and tech here are probably the most impressive I've seen so far. Too bad it lacks any true purpose, like Sim00n said.

Did fall trough the world once, and I was sure the game would crash but damn, it just put me back at the surface! Was very positively surprised.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 13 11:49:00 | 59h 21m | Atoms - Literally beneath the surface | Didn't get any audio either. Not too engaging at the moment either, because the gameplay is so simple. Sadly, I did not feel like I learned anything. Should've gone even more beneath the surface and used elementary particles http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/00/Standard_Model_of_Elementary_Particles.svg ;).

Good job finishing something for your first Compo!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 13 12:10:00 | 21m 00s | Enderscope's Game | Hm, I think I got all of it, exept for a tiny cancerous blob floating in air which I couldn't hit. The controls were quite stiff, maybe it should be made less "realistic" in favor of being more fun. I think Wii's Trauma Team's endoscopy sections handled it pretty nicely.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 13 12:28:00 | 18m 00s | Meddle | The control scheme did feel quite complicated, good job making alternative control schemes though. Nice puzzler, took me longer than I want to admit to pass that level with the pit. I think you introduced the mechanics pretty nicely and let the player do some thinking of their own instead of just telling what to do at every stage of the journey.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 13 12:37:00 | 9m 00s | Skin Deep | Gave it a few goes, but couldn't peel the face completely. Could've used something more than just the increasing cut length to keep it fresh. Also froze once: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gm546s5rgnhj90q/freeze1.png.

Nice visuals and a cool idea though.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 13 14:22:00 | 1h 45m | Fishit | Top score of 33 after three tries. The gameplay speed is nice and the game works (although I had to close the game and restart it to replay), I think it's a fine job for your first Ludum Dare entry!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 13 14:36:00 | 14m 00s | Behind The Smile Face | Got a tad boring in the end, but I managed to have a nice conversation (even though it ended with a few "F*CK YOU"s :D).

Nice simple visuals and good background track. Well done.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 13 14:41:00 | 5m 00s | Blockz | Not much to do, but it's still a game. Quite impressive compared to what I was making when I was your age.

Keep on improving and remember to have fun.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 13 16:58:00 | 2h 17m | Beneath The Surface | 10/10 it's okay.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 13 17:19:00 | 21m 00s | Underneath Our Faces | Trying to pay attention to all of the faces at the same time is way too hard for me. Got to 25 seconds or so by paying attention to only one of them though.

I think the style is ok, both the graphics and the audio work well enough for such a (deceivingly) simple game.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 13 22:11:00 | 4h 52m | Delph Ops | While it was somewhat fun (played till level 5 before I got too frustrated), I think that it included too many RNG elements and the controls weren't tight enough. The control problem became mainly apparent when I noticed a torpedo coming at me full speed from outside the screen. RNG was worst when trying to sink the ships, like Buriteam mentioned.

Cool graphics and audio though, and the menu was really stylish and inviting.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 13 22:26:00 | 15m 00s | Walter the white blood cell | Would love to play this, but the ship customization screen doesn't work. The text inside the text boxes(?) appears as a continuous white line and the grid area flashes randomly with the parts I've inserted. If I go into gameplay it works fine though, but I can't really build any working ship as it stands. Picture here (the grid is empty even though I drew some random lines in there and they can be seen in short flashes) https://www.dropbox.com/s/7pgkbs4oayd8rr0/walter.png.

W7 Ultimate 64Bit, AMD Radeon HD5970 with Catalyst 12.10 (newer ones don't work reliably for me).

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 14 11:41:00 | 13h 15m | Depth Factor | I think the difficulty (somewhat easy) worked fine for a Ludum Dare game, it felt good just aimlessly slaughtering massive horders of those furballs from my underground bunker :D. Looks really good, but especially the gun sound could use some work. Also some background audio would be nice.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 14 11:53:00 | 12m 00s | Overwhelmed | Quite simple, and I wasn't really in the mood for something as serious as this (c'mon, it's sunny and warm outside, summer is just starting, this is no time to be feeling bad). Still stared at the ending screen for quite a while though.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 14 12:06:00 | 13m 00s | Diver X | Too much stuff trying to kill you combined with the annoying controls made it frustratingly hard. My record was 171 or so after maybe 20 tries. It's pretty and the sounds are nice, but I'm not too hot on the gameplay.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 15 22:53:00 | 34h 47m | Animal Party | Now no one can say that games are not art! Also... Mockingbird.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 15 22:57:00 | 4m 00s | Whack-A-Burster | The most hardcore whack-a-mole game I've ever played! It's a diamond in the rough :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 15 23:06:00 | 9m 00s | Underground | Meh, gave up after getting to the room with two short laser walls and auto-targeting turrets after them. On my first playtrough I died to those short laser walls in the fourth(?) screen three times in a row :P. So yeah, not a fan of the control scheme, might've enjoyed it somewhat more were it not for that.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 15 23:14:00 | 8m 00s | Troubling times | As others already mentioned, audio would've been great. Still, a nice little P&C-game. I think the text should have been handled differently though, at the moment I sometimes had multiple different dialogues playing because I frantically pressed everything there was to press.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 15 23:21:00 | 7m 00s | Subliminal | This went totally over my head. Sure, I learned how to navigate that maze, but I didn't understand anything.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 15 23:31:00 | 10m 00s | Icesome! | Sadly, I couldn't really grasp the controls after a few tries. Or maybe it's the gameplay I didn't quite grasp.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 15 23:51:00 | 20m 00s | BULLA | I am glad I got to play this. Really awesome in its simplicity, and the "player" reminded me of this guy http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130731000243/mlp/images/d/d1/Diaboromon.gif even though its just four claws and a floating ball. Felt like a total badass crawling around the skin, trying to capture that boil.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 00:03:00 | 12m 00s | Superficial | Not much right now, but it did manage to convey an interesting atmosphere.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 00:25:00 | 22m 00s | Safety Blanket | Good night's sleep my ass, I had tears in my eyes goddamnit :P. Really pretty. And moody. And intense. It's solid. Really good job on this one.

I was thinking of going to bed since it's going to be morning soon, but maybe I'll wait until the first rays of the suns light the room up. Or at least gather some additional blankets.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 00:34:00 | 9m 00s | pixel bat attack | Hey, what do you know, it's actually a game with gameplay, graphics, sounds and everything you would expect! I would've loved to be able to cast fist in addition to kick though ;).

Keep up the good work!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 00:42:00 | 8m 00s | Electro Jellyfish | Fear not jellyfish, for your knight in shining... jelly is here!

Not much, but it's still a game. A game with cute jellyfish and nice music. Yay.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 01:05:00 | 23m 00s | Beneath the Surface | The coffin made a nice drumset. Would've liked some more gameplay though, at the moment it's pretty much a walking(/limping) simulator with a thin plot.

Took a look at your journal too, congratulations on your first Ludum Dare entry! Judging by the comments you've received so far you succeeded on the shock value part :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 11:25:00 | 10h 20m | Ben Eath the Surf Ace | Great game. The mobile control was brilliant! Great audio and fun gameplay. The sprites were a bit too simple. Anyway a good solid game, well done!

Joona@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 11:40:00 | 15m 00s | Dungeon Encounter | The Java version is unplayable due to the horrible controls. The web version seems to work somewhat OK, even though the controls still don't allow me to react fast enough.

I also had a lot of money, but nothing I could spend it on really, needs a moneysink in the form of stronger units.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 11:59:00 | 19m 00s | Moby Dick 3000 | Installed the newest XNA and .Net redistributables, but it just crashes when trying to open it. Shame.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 12:21:00 | 22m 00s | Fluid Mind | It took 217 of somewhat aimless swapping, but I did manage to complete it. Still not 100% sure about how the mechanics worked :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 13:57:00 | 1h 36m | They Launched a Probe! | Took me way too long to create a somewhat working solution, which probably only works for the specific planet I was trying to scan (lightest planet the probe could find) and only when starting from the specific position it always started from :D. Even made a gif out of it https://www.dropbox.com/s/7x6lgieefsj930z/spaaaaceeeee.gif (I don't think dropbox plays it in the preview though)! The gif also shows a few bugs, namely velocity vector not disappearing after closing the code-editor, science meter going haywire. I also liked that accidentally leaving the page (happened a few times with backspace) didn't erase your progress!

Really interesting concept and execution, even if it isn't the most accessible game out there like others have mentioned. Had been putting it off for a few days because the starting curve was somewhat steep, but I'm glad I decided to give it a go in the end :).

PlayCanvas also seems really interesting, I wonder why I haven't run into it before.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 17:37:00 | 3h 40m | The Diggers Refrain | Somewhat simple, but I did like you mixing up the colors and adding new keys (was playing with one hand until that point, panicced somewhat :D).

Graphics and audio were both decent, and I did like the ending.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 17:46:00 | 9m 00s | WWE(Worms War Evolution) | I'm not going to rate this if I can't play the version you submitted for the jam instead of these "updated" versions.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 17:48:00 | 2m 00s | Willow The Whisp | Yeah, not much as it is. Nice background beat and decent graphics though.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 17:59:00 | 11m 00s | The Stars, Like Dust | Watched those colonies grow for a few hundred years while following the galactic newsfeed. Pretty barebones at the moment, but it was somewhat fun playing god.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 18:26:00 | 27m 00s | Drill a Kilometer | 116.4 seconds with 3 units of life left. Took me almost 10 tries though. I also would've loved inversed controls, and maybe some kind of a short turbo-boost that automatically recharges over time? Would'v ehelped with those missiles. The gameplay was nice and juicy and the difficulty of the randomly generated map felt really good.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 18:26:00 | 0s | Blocky Dungeon | I liked the graphics and animations. The gameplay was ok, could use some polishing though. For example, the ability to look and attack up and down would've made the game better. Anyway, it's a complete game with no major flaws. Well done!

Joona@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 18:50:00 | 24m 00s | Baconizers: Into The Abyss | Nice graphics and audio! The controls were a bit wonky and there wasn't really a lot to do. There is a lot of potential here, I think you should continue working on this!

Joona@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 19:10:00 | 20m 00s | A Pirate's Cove | This was fun! The sprites were great and the reloading animation made me chuckle. The concept was good but the implementation was a bit lacking. Really needs the audio and polished graphics with more animations. Anyway it was fun and I enjoyed it, well done!

Joona@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 19:21:00 | 11m 00s | Dowser (Lucy) | Really charming and relaxing. Also quite polished! Well done.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 19:39:00 | 18m 00s | Beneath Colossal | Looks amazingly good, especially when I was wreaking havoc with my dual torches! Felt really great too, lovely experience.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 19:49:00 | 10m 00s | Manliest Man : Manly Fishing | 1480 points was my record after three tries. Although somewhat hard to control, the gameplay was pretty interesting. Some of the fish seemed to appear out of thin air though, and I sometimes hit them even before I could see them :P. Loved how the surface turned into a sine-wave after the game was over.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 16 23:45:00 | 3h 56m | Wunderheilung | Lovely "artsy" game! My only complaint is that it's so short, was just getting into the mood :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 17 00:03:00 | 18m 00s | The Show Must Go On | Yay, managed to please the audience even though they could see the edges of those waves two times during my last performance. Must've been my superior shark handling skills.

Really interesting concept, and the execution was good for something made in 48 hours!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 17 00:25:00 | 22m 00s | Inside Look Activity Book | That picture did not prepare me for what was coming! Even though it isn't much of a game, it was a superb experience with a satisfying amount of interactivity. I think it worked really nicely on a computer too, even though on a tablet this would've probably been epic. Now you just need to create more content and wait for while the cash rolls in :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 17 00:44:00 | 19m 00s | Gun Digger | Judging by the guns, your industry experience is from working on the Borderlands titles :P. The first time I discovered the gun-jetpack was... magical. Had some FPS drops in heavily infested areas, but it was still playable. I think I also found a place without gravity or something. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vp5hbo86lm0h9j2/now_this_is_podracing.png

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 17 12:22:00 | 11h 38m | Shovel Quest | As others have already mentioned, it's a solid game. Didn't make it far on my first try, but got all of the artifacts on my second run (with one life to spare even). Nice simple puzzles too.

I did have some issues with it:
- Walls blocked your view in some points.
- The area you could see was quite limited, especially when moving towards the screen I had to move by tapping the key so I wouldn't run into any spiders.
- Could've used a fullscreen option.
- The enemies were somewhat tedious, being able to kill them in maybe three hits would've probably been more fun.
- Ambient background audio or something? Didn't like the walking sound effect.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 18 12:37:00 | 24h 15m | HolyDiver | Lovely sound effects, could've used a background song though. Simple, but surprisingly fun due to the "imprecise" control scheme. Too bad I didn't have another person to play with.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 18 12:42:00 | 5m 00s | Beneath The Surface | Shame, I'm only getting a white screen after pressing the start button. Tested on newest versions of Chrome and Pale Moon X64. Wouldn't even show the start button on IE :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames. |
| May 18 12:48:00 | 6m 00s | Train Wreck | Not much, but it's a decent minigame. Somewhat easy too, finished three of my five tries I think.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 18 13:02:00 | 14m 00s | ProjectoMiner | MineTheme.wav, 60.6MB. No wonder the download was so big.

Simple game, I completed it by mostly staying at the upper left corner behind the computer and smashing spacebar like crazy :P.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 18 16:29:00 | 3h 27m | Germaniac | Crashed once, but other than that a solid game. Nice amount of variation, the graphics and audio were great and the humor very fitting.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 18 19:13:00 | 2h 44m | The surface | Crashes during the world generation (according to the console) on my X64 W7 Ultimate.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 19 12:59:00 | 17h 46m | Harold's Musical Hamventure | Couldn't run it, even after copying the correct DLL (MSVCP120.dll) from System32 to the games folder. Getting error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).".

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 19 13:09:00 | 10m 00s | Terry's Trans-Atlantic Travel | Damn, Terry collides with a mine and just gets a little out of breath? That's one badass turtle. Simple game certainly, but it works pretty nicely. The wave effect was cool.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 19 14:47:00 | 1h 38m | FALL! | Yay for leaderboards! Too bad it relied so heavily on RNG though, eventually I got a map where I could've just scored infinitely :P. Simple, but the leaderboards made it at least somewhat fun. The music made it feel really dire too.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 19 14:52:00 | 5m 00s | Clubbed | Not much as it is, but damn that dude can dig! You managed to make something though, good job.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 19 15:01:00 | 9m 00s | Fight Me IRL UNDERGOUND!! | Played twice, fell through the ground on my second try :P. It's actually pretty satisfying, but the hit detection could use some work.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 19 15:09:00 | 8m 00s | IsoMiner | Not much of a game at the moment, and spotting the hole was sometimes pretty hard.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 19 15:31:00 | 22m 00s | Cavernsweeper | "almost-excruciatingly difficult" ALMOST?! Yeah, right, I gave up after three tries, those command were not on my side (Only up and down when trying to navigate the 1-tile tall corridors? Thanks!). The planning for this must've gone something like "Hey, you know how annoying those 1st turn instant losses are in minesweeper? Let's make that into a game!".

I think it has potential, but it's just too frustrating as it is. And yeah, the automatic tile-reveal isn't working correctly.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 19 15:52:00 | 21m 00s | Beneath the monsters surface | Second to last part was pretty hard (had to try it three times or so), but in the last level (the heart) I just stood on the first platform and spammed spacebar, killing the enemies before they even entered the screen >:). My hand hurts from all that spamming though.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 19 20:37:00 | 4h 45m | Nauticalamity | Damn that was fast. Managed to score 472 or so points before losing. It's solid, but somewhat too fast for my tastes (less reaction, more thinking you know ;)).

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 19 21:05:00 | 28m 00s | Multi Mining Operation | It seems to crash when touching the right edge of the map one tile below the "surface level". Too bad I had to play by myself, really nice to see someone undertake such a project though! Some visual/audio indicator of the drilling would've been nice.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 20 00:08:00 | 3h 03m | Magma Shuttle | Got a bit over 1000 points. Starting at maybe 50 speed and adding music would've made the game pretty solid already, but good job anyways!

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 20 00:23:00 | 15m 00s | Fort Kraken | Everything had too much hp, my hand hurts from spamming x like a madman. Other than that a decent game, loved the opening! Also best swim animation ever.

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
| May 20 00:36:00 | 13m 00s | Must Thrive | Not much of a game at the moment, but still an interesting experience. Those pitch black depths were kinda spooky too. Interesting control scheme, why not use a mousebutton or something instead of W?

Anssi@MooseflyGames |
