My neck was going crazy when it got real long lol. But who cares, I love this goofy little game! The art and the sfx are so on point!

A really funny idea hehe. And a stealth game for a game jam? You guys nailed it. It is so well executed! Congrates! Though I kinda wish I could fart my way out sometimes...
Man I wake up in wired places. I love the concept. It gives me chills for some reason.
A pretty addictive game. The way you literally make every fight & between fights 10sec works in such a fast-paced game.
Some smart level design and solid gameplay. One trick I used to make wall grabbing easier - holding A and D at the same time when jumping across the walls.
Real cool concept! I love the hammer lol. The camera angle is bit too low for me tho. Sometimes hard to judge the distance or angle. Would like to see a more polished version on this gameplay.
Had a lot of fun with this :D. The sfx are on point.
A smart interpretation of the theme! The graphics feels very polished. And this concept definitely has a lot of potential. Well done!
I love this painting. download.png
Thanks for the reminder, anonymous commenter;) Opted-out the Graphics and Audio categories.
@coleslaughter Thanks for streaming our game! Had a lot of fun watching it! Ballooney will get buffed in the next version :3
cute little stuff.
Had a lot of fun playing this with my friend! A very interesting take on the theme. I love the dodge animation lol.
The story is pretty funny hehe. The fighting is a bit challenging though.
A really cool game! Love the audio and the concept! Kind of reminds of hotline miami. Hope it could be juicier.
Interesting take on the theme. I like how it gradually turns into chaos, LOL. Had fun "harvesting" people.
This game was a lot. Very memey, and very addictive. The UI, animation and characters are all pretty good.
@veelivar Yeah we failed to balance the pace of that. The plants also die overtime and we were having trouble managing the randomness. Making it faster and simpler might be the way. The inventory is a good idea! Thx for playing.
@ava-skoog You can submit the half done word to start over. That was the idea to be locked on to the word you are spelling unless you start over. I can see that is kind of frustrating. A more flexible and swifter input might be the cure. Thanks for your feedback.
Cool track!Love the concept! The beats can be pretty hard to hit though.
A pretty solid roguelike concept! It was fun joggling between different plants.
Respect to building a game using monogame in Compo. Must be a lot of work to put it together. Great work! The maps as well as the difficulty are giving strong metroidvania vibe. My one complaint though is the control. The wasd and arrowkeys control took me a long time to get used to - I'm guessing it is intended for a gamepad as a twin stick shooter kinda control. I think for non-gamepad control, at least for me, being able use my mouse to aim and LMB to attack would be a much more accustomed control.
I enjoyed it! I like that it starts as a chill Tamagotchi sim and goes into a Doki Doki Literature Club! kinda spooky plot twist. It is so well executed. I wouldn't mind if it drags a bit longer to slowly become twisted and chilling. This is one of my favourites so far. Great job!
I enjoyed it! The low-rez classic horror vibe is strong. The use of audio is amazing. The monster AI is working surprisingly well. I wish the ending would have some more story there, but this is already impressively a lot of content for a compo.Great job!
A cool game. I like the "control the flow of the system" kinda gameplay. I took me some time to figuare out what was I doing but it was very intuitive and easy to understand as the game goes on even though without much instructions. Very effective teaching of the game there.
Very cute creatures. It's a very casual experience. I do hope when I tweak the knobs there'll be more visaul feedbacks in realtime though registering the changes I did.
Great graphics and art style! And the overall mood and quality is unparalleled as a game jam game! Gameplay-wise feel like this is a great foundation for a weird, unique puzzle game but that's a much bigger scale than a game jam submission. Great stuff!
Pretty fun being the Rat King! The mechanic reminds me of A Plague Tale a lot. The rat pack is working pretty well - is it using a boids algorithm?
@koolruz Thanks a ton for playing! Yeah, we totally wanted to add an undo system right after we nailed down the gameplay, but I just couldn't squeeze in the time to code it. We’re also thinking about switching up the animations when you hover over the creatures to better signal the weakness order. The inspiration you mentioned is spot on too - I think the more original inspiration of that is a game called Klotski we grew up playing.Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank yall for playing and giving feedbacks! :)
Dig the character design of the cells! A nice and fun way to learn some science too.Would like to be able to scale up the window more though.
The piano music is super nice :D
