Nice job👍
Something was a bit strange about the controls. At times I tried to walk forward, the character just walked backwards, and the other way around. D: The graphics were nice and the sounds also, of course. ;D
@msplanlos Thanks for the comment ! Could you give more details on your controller issues ? I couldn't replicate what you are describing on my side. What keyboard layout are you using ?
@fluffy-kaeloky Sometimes I walked forward and suddenly the character just hoverd backwards even though I pressed W. qwertz it is.
Good game. I got a little frustrated playing it but the art is nice and the music fits perfect. Well done! Come to play my game and rate it!!
I had the same issue occasionally. It seemed to happen more often when I went into a shipping container. I had it mess up with going forward when I wanted to go backward too.
@msplanlos @wheelsx Ohhh, yeah, that one, yeah. We're aware of it. It's a collision issue we didn't have time to fix. The inputs aren't really reversed per say, but rather the player being pushed backwards in the shipping container. Thanks for the input, I'll try giving it a hotfix later
Super fun concept, and the art is fantastic! I had the same movement issues MsPlanlos mentioned, it seemed like it was related to colliding with something inside of the containers if I had to guess?
Well done with the tutorial, though it probably shouldn't replay when you lose in the first level. I liked how the guards could be outran by hiding quickly even if you got caught for a moment. This "feature" created some scenarios where the guards and cameras could be cheesed by hiding behind a crate immediately after getting caught :D
Impressive graphics and animations for a game jam game
@supercannon
Thanks !
It's more of a mathematic issue. I use the average normal of all current collisions to calculate the normal of the plane to project the velocity onto. I check the dot product from Vector3.up to know whether the collision is considered as ground or walls, but it seems that check fails for some reason inside the shipping container, and the velocity ends up being projected along the walls, thus making the controller do all kinds of funny things ^^
Wow wow wow your team members in charge of graphics absolutely crushed it! From the images at the start that told a great story, to the loading animation of the sneaking fox, and then the overall 3D assets and "behind a wall" and "field of detection" shaders. Everything else was good too, the graphics were just next level.
You already know about the collision issue that makes us move backwards sometimes, other than that I really don't have any critiques. Maybe a little bit too hard? The 2nd level already had tons of coverage where I couldn't walk, it made it a bit overwhelming. Still a fun challenge though.
Very nice looking game and love the concept honestly. Nicely done!
great graphics! Overall great game, really nice for tuts. Same movement issues as mentioned above, but great work anyway!
I found there were some cases where I expected enemies to aggro onto me, red vision cone and what not, but they just stood around and didn't chase me. Maybe had something to do with failing and restarting the final level a few times?
Anyway, fun concept and very well executed in terms of visuals and gameplay.
Hey, I played your game on the stream - twitch GGame86
Please give my game a try if you have some time!
That was so much fun! I loved the humorous take on the theme as well. xD
My "room for growth" comment would come down to the physics. Sometimes my bar was *very* red and no glassy break even though I was as against the glass as I could figure. There were also times where my character just decided to walk in a circle of his own volition.
That being said, it's a game jam. Bugs are to be expected and even with those challenges, it was REALLY fun.
Thank you for giving me a sneaking game that didn't suck all the joy out of my day. It's a rare treat. :D
Very... interesting interpretation of the theme. Great game!
OH I DID NOT EXPECT THAT... "Shockwave"
very funny premise! using farts as an aggro and an attack is hilarious. well made all around! the enemies on the last two levels did not aggro for some reason. overall very impressive.
I never thought I'd ever play a game that'd make me appreciate a fart mechanic.
That said, the final level is brutal - I wish there were more options for avoiding capture than just running into a shipping container and hoping the AI doesn't catch on. Feels like the shockwave would make a great option for stunning pursuers - a shame it doesn't work like that!
@ryusui We had kind of power ups and stuns planned in the GD, but that ended being cut due to lack of time ^^
This is a really funny idea...i lost it when i first held it back and farted much louder after that. A cool and really unique gameplay-feature. And the art and animations....holy cow...even wobbly ears! Cool game! :D
Such a good implementation of the theme :D First wondered what the theme-link would be.. Amazing!
Really nice and smooth to play, Intro Story with good presentation, great Style !
Keep on doing !
It is impressive you made this game in three days. It is funny my "shakewave" could destroy barrier;) Overall, good job!
When I downloaded your game I was wondering what the connection to the theme would be, it became clear to me very quickly :). The graphics are amazing! The 'hold it in' mechanic is a fun one. Great work!
I think it's a very funny idea. It's also very good with the theme to make. The 3D art is pretty good.
Congratulations! wp :)
I will never not be entertained by holding in a fart and obliterating glass. Great take on a heist game! I especially liked that there were multiple uses to the farts, since you could use it as a distraction. I really hoped that I could knock out guards that were chasing me when I held in a fart, but I can understand why that wasn't a feature
I did notice one bug - on the second level, I died and restarted, and then enemies weren't patrolling, and if they caught me their light turned red and the music changed, but still no movement. Then when I broke a window, the glass didn't fall, and I couldn't push through until they despawned. Not sure how you implemented the timing, but if I had to guess, it looks like Time.timeScale got set to 0, and didn't return to 1 correctly?
I still had a lot of fun playing this though, great submission!
It's a unique take on the theme and on the stealth genre  3d models are very nice, and I adored your main menu!
What I found a bit unbelievable is that the guards can be lured in to investigate a fart, yet nobody comes to check in on a huge glass pane breaking
Wow, That was great. Really well polished fun game. I also encountered that odd movement bug, and it would be nice to be able to skip the intro sequence. I accidentally pressed quit on the menu because I didn't realise it was a menu at first.
Whew that's one polished game! Love the details like the 3D main menu and the loading screen icon! The 10 second concept caught me off guard but plays well with the stealth, nothing better than trying to hold in a fart to stay hidden :D There was a couple of annoying deaths where shattered glass blocked my way but otherwise I didn't hit any real issues.
+ really polished
+ theme is used straight away
+ good amount of content
- strange mix of missing girlfriend with ... a 10 second stuff)
- kinda hard
Nice job, very Metal Gear Solid-esque. :D
Wow, its really great idea ) was fun to play it)
A really funny idea hehe. And a stealth game for a game jam? You guys nailed it. It is so well executed! Congrates! Though I kinda wish I could fart my way out sometimes...
Well done! Funny idea and executed very well
