I feel like that it is a typical management optimization game. The game is highly-completed and well-polished on graphics. The overall gameplay is also quite good and the balancing seems no problem. But the looping background sound effect just like a horror game and make me want to close the game lol

It took me sometimes to getting to know the mechanics. To tell the truth it reminds me of my days in university to fight with all the projects and assignments lol.

Some of the projects are not with how many days need to complete with it. And there is not much level design so that it seems that the player will finally drown in the sea of all these things... And sometimes I just cannot put the assignment in the box however I drag and drop it lol

If there will be clear of day-cost for every project, get rid of the bugs, maybe some level design, and with maybe some more mistake-tolerance mechanics, it could be a good game!

BTW the sound of completing an assignment is just like.. I throw away them lol

The basic idea is OK, but it's just too short lol.

There is a problem that when you are just next to the wall, you can neither jump nor fall (which could be a bug).

As bobombe said the hitting space bar repetitively is annoying lol The game makes me feels like beach landing, weirdly.

I suppose 4-8 is those not finished engines and painted jobs? Bullets for player may be a little bit too small to see..

And I suppose there is not too much relevance with the theme?

It would be a regular tile-matching game with some action factor. The game itself will be Ok but I wonder how it would relate to the theme. Because in the game there is the more in the environment instead of "you" have. My feeling of playing this game is more like some eye-brain-hand coordination training lol, for I am always juggling with wsad and arrow keys and shift-key.

I find this game's mechanics quite... weird. Firstly the player will be stuck for everything you can do. Then there is no feedback for how long(or how much time left I need) the player need to finish an action. The spawning system and enemy firing system is also too unpredictable so that a very common problem is when the player is stuck somewhere waiting for something to complete then an enemy suddenly appears and shoot the player to death. Also there is no feeling of burden by having more and more allies. Maybe there should be more thinking on game mechanism before really working on it.

I see. I tried for 10+ times and it is very unlikely that the player would have a lot of scraps under current mechanism. The player has to place allies all the time to reduce the possibility to be shot, or the gameplay will end very quick generally.

I though this game is not very much related to theme until I find I cannot just don't buy anything to leave the store. How I wish there would be a way to get rid of the coins on the ground... Good work!

The game is very nice except I didn't feel it relate much to the theme and sometimes there is not enough feedback.

The interaction between player and the environment is interesting. All the graphics and music are highly polished.

The basic idea and gameplay for this game is ok, but I think it needs more rethinking and balancing. For me I just found this game not challenging because you can spam the guns (making the shotgun too overpowered). Also the zombies are all the same, in fact, they can never touch you for their snail-like moving speed lol. Maybe add in more zombie mutations is a way to make the game more challenging.

I think the main problem for the game would be the player has very little place to maneuver (or maybe the monster AI can be more polished). You would often looking at a rolling slime downstairs but you know if you jump you would hit the ceiling and cannot get pass it forever lol.

And I think it would be a common sense that in an RPG or Action game when the player getting stronger, there would be more challenge. So I guess it is not a very good point for the theme?

The idea of having more fans result in a scramble of key and mouse pressing fits the theme well. I feel that this game is more or less like a music game. Maybe make it really into a music game could be more enjoyable? Or you intended to not make it into a music game?

It is a very good design by associate power-up function with enemy bullet type. Make player very easy to understand the consequence hit by enemy bullets.

Some problems: The basket could seems to move left/right to the infinity (though normal players won't do this) There are rabbits flashing on the horizontal line just above the basket

And the "rabbits" reminds me of tippy in "is the order a rabbit" (lol)

@linky439 Very sorry for I didn't considering AZERTY keyboard will have a big trouble with this _(:з)∠)__ I actually also had a big headache on balancing the game. Probably there is indeed too less of mistake-tolerance. I think it would be better to have several levels with progressive difficulty, but I didn't have enough time and stamina for doing this.

Because I had only tested gameplay by myself, I actually have no idea how to estimate the difficulty to other people (sadly I thought it was too easy and raised difficulty... Maybe next time I shall also put more attention on the pacing of the game.

@tiberiusuciu I was also afraid of people cannot finish reading the text... Test play and feedback from others are really precious for tweaking all the variables and features.

Actually I was trying to do some rebalance after the jam, but I finding it is too hard to do and the gameplay won't change too much. My conclusion to this is the gameplay is moving slower due to fitting mechanism in to the theme. If the gameplay moves to be tense, the difficulty will become too high. One of the solutions I came up with would be making it to fixed level instead of random generating all the things. But that will cost a lot of time :(

Perhaps I could get to some idea works both well with the mechanism and the theme next time :)

The game is well polished and the mechanics fits the theme well~ For me I see it like a comedy game and both the chicken die sound (I guess it's your own voice?) and the background music enhanced the comedy feeling. Overall Good work!

I think it is a big problem that there is not enough guiding to exit when the player got very limited sight. If the exit is not on the line of projectiles, it would be a disaster lol
