Oct 2 22:25:37 Obelisk ♥ 2 The game looks and feels great to play. You have a cohesive visual style and some great animations. The music was good too. I did not find the mechanics intuitive. Luckily you included a guide on the page or I would've been lost 😅 Even with that, the goal of the game was difficult for me to discern. I enjoyed pushing the mining blocks into the cracked walls. I initially clicked on this one because of the aesthetic style, and you did not disappoint. Solid entry 🙂
Oct 2 22:30:58 5m 21s Floodwater ♥ 1 Great level design & I think it's wonderful how you introduce the new mechanics on their own mini-level. Feels very complete despite the low level count, but it's a 48 hour jam so I'm not sure I can expect more 😉 If there was a level design rating category, I'd give you 5 stars there 👏
Oct 2 22:40:26 9m 28s floating rock in space ♥ 0 I like the music and audio, and I think it's thematic, too. If anything the space limits TOO quickly for me 😅 I had an odd moment where I couldn't tell if I was doing damage to the larger rocks. I think they just have a lot of health.
Oct 2 23:19:13 38m 47s Forest Nothing ♥ 1 You managed to recreate my childhood AoE2 memories in 48h I loved this game. I put on the AoE2 soundtrack in the background while I played, it all fit perfectly together. This game made me happy, well done 😄
Oct 2 23:23:37 4m 24s M8B1674-00D4 ♥ 1 Are these Blokus pieces I see? 🙂 This game is beautifully done; intuitive to play, feels great to place pieces. Great work.
Oct 3 00:01:45 38m 08s Mind Adventum ♥ 2 This was cool. Atmospheric and inscrutable. I love that it requires you to be patient. I love the use of lighting. Unique entry. I got to the ending, but the text faded before I could finish reading it ☚ī¸
Oct 3 00:19:52 18m 07s Greasy Justice ♥ 3 Sorry, I could not figure out how to play this ☚ī¸ There was too much going on for me to understand. That said, I think the presentation is great. Fascinating color scheme, great graphics and interface design.
Oct 3 01:19:58 1h 00m Escape the maze ♥ 0 Intense. I felt a sense of urgency opening the doors while being chased. It's a small game but it's evocative so I think that's a success 🙂
Oct 3 02:18:55 58m 57s Escape the ship ♥ 1 Hi, I cannot get this to play.
Oct 3 02:57:12 38m 17s TOBISHA ♥ 1 I think it might be too easy. Because the enemies did not seem to harm me I was wondering "how do I win?" Later I realized it is a survival game. I had so much cash that bills weren't a problem. I think your concept is interesting and fits the theme 👏
Oct 3 03:12:00 14m 48s Sigiled Throne ♥ 0 I can't figure out how to play 😅 could you offer some guidance?
Oct 3 03:18:40 6m 40s On the Ice ♥ 2 I just set the best time on The Snake 😄 I'm sure someone will beat me by tomorrow. This was a lot of fun. I see how the theme fits. The skating felt smooth and like you were moving quickly.
Oct 3 03:28:31 9m 51s Sampler ♥ 1 This is incredible. Immensely polished compo entry. The room-based puzzles give me Portal, Antechamber, Manifold Garden vibes in the best way. I'm really impressed you made something that plays this good in 48 hours. What a mood. Great ending.
Oct 3 23:36:15 20h 07m P0G0 ♥ 1 I didn't understand how it fit the theme until I realized jump was Space ... you get LIMITED space đŸ¤Ļ 😂 I enjoyed it. I appreciate the difficulty. Well done 👏
Oct 3 23:45:28 9m 13s Burden Dungeon ♥ 1 I like the use of lighting. There were some times where I got lost in the dark before I figured out how to use the lantern. I went into the tower and found the locked basement, but I think the monster inside figured out how to get out and kill me 💀
Oct 3 23:51:25 5m 57s A small town ♥ 1 This was fun. I got to 37 kill and 6 height after figuring out what to do. I died immediately on my first game 😅 I really like how you implemented the "danger" mechanic, I knew exactly when to duck and hide. I was able to find success by building a tower, it seemed like the baddies had trouble getting up to the top floor. Well done, good entry 👏
Oct 4 00:43:50 52m 25s Space Way ♥ 1 It's a lot of fun to say the name "Space Way" so props for that 😄 It's a pretty familiar puzzle concept, which I enjoyed. There came a point where you introduce the doubling back mechanic which was initially kind of an "aha" but then I realized it trivializes all the puzzles -- you can just go back and make all of the squares yellow with no repercussion. I liked the graphics and atmosphere. The intro animation was cute. I had fun with this, great work 👏
Oct 4 06:19:25 5h 35m Fit ♥ 1 Great visuals and I like how the movement felt when you hit the arrow keys.
Oct 4 06:35:23 15m 58s Magus of the Leylines ♥ 0 Fun sandbox game. The last puzzle actually took me awhile, I kept trying to cover the fire with dirt but I'm not sure that works 😅 I really like games like this and had a lot of fun. Thanks :)
Oct 4 06:51:33 16m 10s Force Field Sokoban ♥ 0 A fun spin on the classic. Well done :)
Oct 4 06:56:31 4m 58s Hexed ♥ 1 I thought this was simple, but a lot of fun to play. Impressive that it seems to have online play, AI, and matchmaking? In a compo game?
Oct 4 07:02:58 6m 27s Spectra ♥ 1 59 seconds :) This would be absolutely killer with music and sfx. The visuals are wonderful, feels nice to play.
Oct 4 19:49:56 12h 46m Super Low Memory Bot ♥ 1 Reminds me of the ice puzzles from the old Zelda or Pokemon games. You nailed the Gameboy look and feel, it made me feel nostalgic 🙂 Impressive number of puzzles and mechanics, too. Well done.
Oct 4 19:57:22 7m 26s Dwarf Monastery ♥ 0 I cannot figure out how to play 🙁 I'm able to place tiles but I can't seem to do anything with the Plan panel and the voice complains about an empty shift.
Oct 4 20:01:15 3m 53s BoxBox ♥ 1 I don't think I understand this one ☚ī¸ what are we trying to do? I was able to place the circles and brackets but after that I didn't know what I was going for.
Oct 4 20:07:00 5m 45s Don't Skip the Ship! ♥ 1 I see we've made similar games 🙂 I like how the ships come in with different sizes and the movement makes it a little more challenging. It'd be nice to see what the score threshold is for a ship before it sails off. I also had a bug where the pieces would be offset from the "grid" and take up more collider space than they should. Also the highlight not updating like someone mentioned above.
Oct 4 20:26:56 19m 56s CaveBots ♥ 1 I was defeated :( I was always out of energy. It didn't seem like I had much agency about what bots I could find; it was almost always generators and I needed turrets or patrol bots. I love the cave excavation mechanics, and the AI + pathing was great. Didn't run into any issues, well done with that 👏
Oct 4 20:42:05 15m 09s textures_failed_to_load ♥ 1 This game is cool 😎 The gameplay is tight and the choice over what gets revealed when you pick up the RAM wasn't something I'd seen before. I got stuck on the puzzle level because I accidentally killed the friendly robot, because I had revealed something else already.
Oct 5 06:21:14 9h 39m Trouble In Paradise ♥ 1 I got everyone partying 😎 🎉 The tech here is amazing for 48 hours. You have a mini-map, and procedurally generated islands, and fog of war, which aren't trivial! Well done 👏 Only gripe is that I accidentally dumped my inventory on accident -- maybe add some friction there.
Oct 5 19:37:14 13h 16m Cave Crawl ♥ 1 help stretch.png this was funny, good entry 😄
Oct 5 19:45:04 7m 50s Dozer Dash ♥ 1 231! I took a few tries. This was fun. I didn't realize I had a special until my third run, which was a big game-changer. Well done 👏
Oct 5 23:21:40 3h 36m Uplimit ♥ 1 That was not the ending I expected đŸ¤Ŗ I had fun trying to find the most efficient configuration of pieces. I liked how the window grew with each uplimit, very thematic! The chirping noise got a little grating with dozens of pieces out.
