I managed to clear the game!
Once you understand the meaning of "automation," it becomes really interesting. While there's a modest variety of components, the influence of the CLOCK is so powerful that I was excited throughout the entire game.
I really love the window resizing animation, and the overall pixel art graphics are truly amazing! Great job :)

My screen size never got larger than SMALL and I could only place the 4 objects and nothing more. and what did the UPLIMIT button do?

Fun little game. Was able to beat it. Enjoyed arranging and rearranging the components to get the most out of them. Only complaint is that it would be nice if the components would somehow indicate if they were going to be placed or destroyed. Lost a few components on accident.

This was so amazingly well made! Very meta with the window being the limited space as well! Well done!
That was not the ending I expected
I had fun trying to find the most efficient configuration of pieces. I liked how the window grew with each uplimit, very thematic!
The chirping noise got a little grating with dozens of pieces out.
@brandann It costs MATH to Uplimit. Forgot to mention that

I had to read over the game's description several times to figure out what to do. In fact, I was about to give up entirely when I figured out how to upsize. The game could maybe do with some more prompts, like maybe the "Uplimit" button flashing once the player reaches 3 math.
Leaving certain game elements clipped off by the edge of the window to show the player that there was more to see over there was a clever idea, but I don't think player's generally expect a game window to change size as they play so this might be missed. (At first I actually thought it was a bug myself.) Maybe a brief animation at the start where the window quickly shrinks down to it's final size in order to communicate the changing window-size mechanic to the player could help? (Like the one in torcado's windowkill.)
That ending was incredibly unexpected but very well done.
Overall a very interesting game, the only one of LD54 so far that I've recommended to a friend.
It was worth it in the end.

Has its charm, becomes better after you realize how Uplimit-button works since it actually gives you a possibility to expand your little time machine factory. Math IS valuable

After I understood the game it was so fun to play! Great game
The ending is great - took me by surprise  And nice art, by the way, both on the ending and on the game itself.
The game plays well and feels polished. I didn't encounter any bugs. I had only one wondering. Sometimes, I placed my element a bit off and the red X appeared. Till now, I have no idea if that refunded me the cash I spent, or is an element and cash lost in such an event. In any case, I enjoyed the game quite a bit. Extremely impressive amount of polish and content for a compo!
The sounds got a bit annoying when there were a lot of them, so I just turned them down. Here is my glorious machine:

Great idea, well executed. good job!
Omg that ending! XD Loved the machine building aspect, not sure if I missed it, but would really like the ability to deleted pieces once placed. But really great otherwise!
Really cool concept! Looks and plays pretty good. Very well done for compo, good job!
The sfx get a little tedious and it would be nice if you could sell all your MATH at once, but other than that it was quite fun! It reminds me of all the automation/factory building games I used to play on CoolMathGames. Excellent job!
Great puzzle game! It took some time to figure out how to play. But it was worth it!
