Oct 7 00:14:50 Card Hero ♥ 1 It's cool when you can feel the progression between "okay but what is the game" and "ooooooooh neat!" as you play it. This is definitely the kind of game your imagination can run wild with possibilities on.
Oct 7 00:18:29 3m 39s Green Tea ♥ 1 Love the pixel 3D look! It also encourages taking in the environment first before firing, and feels a lot more puzzly than shooter-y.
Oct 7 01:15:53 57m 24s Dungeon Crawler ♥ 1 Really loved the feeling/mood of this one, and the animations of the hero were pretty entertaining.
Oct 7 01:25:11 9m 18s Nepton ♥ 1 There's so much to love about this entry. The 3D is used to support the gameplay style, and the gameplay loop is a lot of fun.
Oct 7 16:13:31 14h 48m The Desert of Nothingness ♥ 1 The UI is fun and theme really does come through with the environment and setup. I'll echo that it's a little tough to get started but when you do it plays pretty smoothly. Sort of fits into the whole theme, too, that way.
Oct 7 16:18:55 5m 24s Planetary Adventure ♥ 0 Will echo that the downloaded version is a lot more stable and the way to play it. Liked the look and the planet to planet flow.
Oct 7 16:23:43 4m 48s We Got Nothin' !!! ♥ 0 A lot of fun! Good humor, style, and a good ease of play. Nice use of the 3d look.
Oct 7 16:25:43 2m 00s A bard's Journey ♥ 1 Worthwhile to get it running on the android and a great idea for future jams. Being about a bard the music was going to need to be stellar and you nailed it. A lot to check out in one game.
Oct 7 16:34:10 8m 27s Nothing ♥ 0 Was worth going all the way through, and to see it to the end. Due to red/green colorblindness a couple stages were a bit tough to match up but was still able to get past it.
Oct 7 16:51:32 17m 22s Start with a Click ♥ 1 This is the new kind of take on a clicker game I was hoping to see. So far, it's the game I've played the longest of checking out all the compos.
Oct 7 16:59:32 8m 00s Purpose: Unknown ♥ 1 Pretty ambitious for a compo entry, and the 3d looks pretty cool for it. Exploring and battling was really engaging, and the style of the world was fun to poke around in.
Oct 7 17:02:03 2m 31s Nothingness ♥ 1 Best use of the theme, and the open ended structure of it made me want to play it again a couple more time. I enjoyed my waterworld the first time.
Oct 7 23:47:15 6h 45m S.W.N ♥ 1 Nice twist on the "start with nothing" theme. Controls are super fluid and getting around the levels feels fun. Pretty stellar level maker, too!
Oct 7 23:54:09 6m 54s There is more ♥ 1 Favorite part was the feeling of getting the keyboard back as the keys fell down. A fun concept you could easily see expanded into a bunch of levels.
Oct 8 00:07:59 13m 50s Fragmented Reality ♥ 1 This game's got some style, and a lot of fun visuals and humor. Great intro that sets up the mood and theme really well too.
Oct 8 16:21:33 16h 13m A Fishermans Friendly Island Builder ♥ 2 Building up an island to also fish on/from is a really fun concept. It does nail the theme in that I feel like I'm not starting with anything, but quickly as you get used to the controls you really start to feel like you could be building up a whole adventure.
Oct 8 16:27:39 6m 06s Small Town ♥ 1 Falls under my favorite type of LD games, the ones where you can easily see so many aspects expanded on from an engaging central concept. Building up the town from scratch gives you quite a feeling of progression, making leveling up and placing different buildings really satisfying. Only wished some of the first charged buildings were cheaper so you could see more of the game faster after all that clicking.
Oct 8 16:34:57 7m 18s Colour Shot ♥ 1 Great style, and liked how some shots could take out multiple targets when timed right. There's a lot here to expand on, as it gives me modern Missile Command vibes.
Oct 8 16:39:13 4m 16s Start with no dice ♥ 1 Deckbuilder + dice, the ultimate start from nothing feel-good game. The helper text was very much appreciated, and having an opponent right from the start was a nice touch.
Oct 8 16:57:18 18m 05s Yin-Yang ♥ 1 Loved the push and pull between sides, and the style. The theme came across to me like "nothing is hitting me, why am I dying" and exploring that from there.
Oct 8 16:59:49 2m 31s The drop to the top ♥ 2 Fun concept and look that really popped off of the screen. Filling up from nothing worked out way more with these shapes and physics playing into it.
Oct 8 17:03:02 3m 13s Dissipate ♥ 1 I really respect you making and using your own engine for the jam, and SDL2 is pretty great and also pretty involved for a jam. Good minimalist style alongside a use of simple color for that style.
Oct 8 17:04:57 1m 55s Bartered ♥ 1 I really loved the take on the theme, and you captured it really well with your game. Takes a bit to jump into but only got more clever the more I played with it. Great job!
Oct 8 17:06:56 1m 59s Empty Dungeon ♥ 1 Takes me back to some of the games I played as a (very young and bad at these games) kid. Echoing that the monitor effect is great and adds a lot, and the theme based around dungeoning makes a lot of sense. Classic, retro-modern, and cool.
Oct 10 02:11:29 33h 04m Duck Fortress ♥ 1 Liked the hand-drawn look of the game, and the world building you put in around the game's setting.
Oct 10 02:19:09 7m 40s Run... Away? ♥ 1 First jam! And yeah, with Godot too, a really fun engine to use. Def keep it up, the controls and shooting was fun, too.
Oct 10 17:05:37 14h 46m Minds are Mine ♥ 1 Using possession to start from nothing was a fun take on the theme. One of my favorite parts of this game is how you used each level to teach the mechanics.
Oct 12 00:29:15 31h 23m Shoot it all ♥ 1 It's really awesome that you kept with it for the compo and submitted, that's really admirable and you have a solid core for a game.
Oct 12 00:45:25 16m 10s Venture ♥ 1 A pretty unique game for the compo, and I loved the sprite art for this too.
Oct 12 00:56:45 11m 20s tile.flip() ♥ 1 Puzzle games are tough to make feel intuitive, but I feel like I could figure this one out playing, and experimenting with the turn by turn play, so congrats there! The simple shapes and style was nice as well.
Oct 12 01:19:49 23m 04s Nothing Wars ♥ 0 Starting with no army was a pretty straightforward take on the theme, but the tanks themselves, also starting with nothing, was really cool! I like being aware of the opponents stats, too, adding more strategy if it was blown out to a full game, where you build your tanks to counter theirs.
Oct 22 15:52:59 254h 33m itemless ♥ 0 Really impressive stuff for the compo! Everything sort of just comes together and has a fun and addicting gameplay loop while making you feel like you've started with nothing.
Oct 22 15:58:07 5m 08s Rest In Peace ♥ 1 Fun take on the idea of starting with nothing and having to use all you have to get through. The jumping mechanic was also fun to discover.
Oct 22 15:59:20 1m 13s Flourish ♥ 1 I really loved the art and theme here! Really impressive and quite cozy to play. Definitive 5 in mood for me.
Oct 22 16:06:13 6m 53s Out Of Nothing ♥ 1 The effects as the game went on were really neat and it got quite challenging while giving a good sense of speed. The audio and graphics were top notch.
Oct 22 16:08:48 2m 35s Simple? Tower Defense ♥ 1 Not lots of games, especially for a gamejam, can really have fun with their humor and graphics, but yours certainly did. Great job!
Oct 22 16:10:51 2m 03s PlainMan ♥ 0 Really appreciate adventure/story games during a jam! The look is fun and fits the gameplay.
Oct 22 16:12:09 1m 18s Molecular Madness ♥ 1 I dig the style and taking the theme to such a logical but also fun place. Yeah, this has a really nice mood and clean look to it while also playing well!
Oct 22 16:14:07 1m 58s The Carpenter ♥ 3 Love this style! Carpenter was a nice choice for tackling the theme, and building stuff is always so satisfying too.
Oct 22 16:16:59 2m 52s All I Got For My Birthday Was This Terrible Curse ♥ 1 Charming beyond belief, and that UI really glues everything together with the graphics. Great job!
Oct 26 22:54:14 102h 37m The Card Crafter ♥ 1 Creating cards is so cool! Plus I'll always appreciate a jam game, especially a compo, that has card crafting as part of it. Great job tackling the theme in a really creative way.
Oct 26 22:57:09 2m 55s When Nothing Came ♥ 1 Love the look of this so much. High marks in graphics/audio and mood for sure. The way everything moved and the way the world was literally brought to life from nothing was such a joy to see and play.
Oct 26 22:59:56 2m 47s Becoming Something. ♥ 0 Cartoony 3D graphics were really fun to see and this game together really nicely! I like the theme and how you tackled the jam with it. Great job!
Oct 26 23:01:54 1m 58s Island of the Coconut Spirit ♥ 1 The Spirit Island inspiration was nice to see, as I'm a big fan of that game. The way everyone moved about and the overall look was really pleasant.
Oct 26 23:03:49 1m 55s VoidTech ♥ 2 This had such a nice look that stood out, and you could see a full game being born from this project. Loved the mood and having a nice little story experience from a jam game was a fun surprise.
