| Apr 23 13:59:05 | BDP | ♥ 2 | Nifty little game that has some cool ideas here and there. The skiing part is a lot more fun than the sneaking part which left me hoping that there would have been something more interesting in skiing. Controls are very good for skiing but not so much for sneaking. One thing I really liked was the guard view in the sneaking part when they were chasing you. That gave actual information what the guards were seeing and I actually found myself using that to my advantage. Music was fine but I would have liked to hear some music for the sneaking part as well. Sound effects were funny but usually I had no idea who was talking! :D Themewise, I would have hoped that sneaking and skiing would have been more connected. Now there are pretty much two separate themes but maybe that's just me! | |
| Apr 23 14:06:37 | 7m 32s | Total Carnage | ♥ 0 | Nifty little game that fits the theme very well. Graphics are good and I like how the car handles. My nitpicks are that I very often got stuck to enemies. Also, enemies very often got stuck to each other and started driving just circles around me. Other thing was the gun sound. It got quite annoying since it played so often. Some kind of other sound could have worked better. But overall, fun little game and the most important thing, car, handled very well. |
| Apr 23 14:15:35 | 8m 58s | Numbness | ♥ 1 | Pretty fun fusion of platformer and FPS. I was happily surprised how well they worked together. The best part of this game was it's mood. I really liked the atmosphere and there is some kind of tension between you with the gun and the princess. Level design was very good taking into account this was a marathon game! I only rated art and music for the part that I thought was made by you. They were ok and fit the theme. |
| Apr 23 14:26:04 | 10m 29s | Forest Grow | ♥ 1 | Just to note, the Windows exe-version got hammered by Symantec Virus Proctection. I was still able to run the game from the source in Unity. This was very calming game. Even though you did not do the music, at least you chose a good tune. There could be some real potential with the idea. This game with actual animations etc. could have real potential. The only major nitpick I have is that it was occasionally hard to hit the target I wanted to hit. I think this might have something to do with Windows but the bullet did not always go where I expected it to go. |
| Apr 23 14:31:22 | 5m 18s | Gun Hero | ♥ 1 | Interesting fusion. The gun had a good feel to it and the sound you had chosen for the shooting was spot on. These are mostly polishing issues, but I had very hard time seeing whether I actually hit a note or not. Also, the rhythm usually was just a bit off beat which gets very annoying quite fast. Overall, good idea and mostly good presentation. Some polishing and this could be a great game! |
| Apr 23 14:39:47 | 8m 25s | Football Journey | ♥ 1 | Controls felt quite hard first but when you got used to them they were ok. I still would have hoped that kicking the ball did not reguire going to "kicking mode". That made game feel a bit clunky in my opinion. I got really surprised about the teleport mechanic and how well it actually mashed with the other controls. Also the goals scattered around the map were a good addition and they provided a nice little challenge. |
| Apr 23 14:49:31 | 9m 44s | Basketball Tactics | ♥ 2 | Could work as an idea but sadly there is not much to do in this game. It is also a bit hard to follow who has the ball, who has moved and how much can players actually move. With some work on visuals and animation (+ AI of course :), this could be a fun game. Somehow reminds me of Blood Bowl. |
| Apr 23 14:56:59 | 7m 28s | KTAG | ♥ 0 | Interesting game. Something kept me intrigued to keep playing, maybe it was the mysterious feeling the game has. I did not really get the theme. Using a melee weapon did not feel much different from shooting - so it felt mostly just a traditional FPS puzzle game. Visuals were good and I especially liked enemies and animations. |
| Apr 23 15:04:37 | 7m 38s | Pretty Crowded Dungeon | ♥ 1 | Hey, what a charming game and it works quite well! Reminds me a lot of Fidel Dungeon Rescue. Graphics are very fitting and so are the sound effects. I like the retro aesthetic the game has. Some improvements; the game crashes very often. Also, it feels quite weird that walking into empty tile consumes 1 HP, the same amount than when walking to enemies. That is a minor nitpick but something that could be explained better for the player. |
| Apr 23 15:13:56 | 9m 19s | Dog Jam | ♥ 1 | Fun idea and very good presentation. As a new player it was quite hard to follow what was going on. I think there was too many stats to keep track of for a marathon game which is only played in very short sessions. Maybe if I played it more I could actually start thinking more what should I play. |
| Apr 23 15:20:26 | 6m 30s | Obaké | ♥ 0 | That was unique but I don't think the themes were mashed together too well. Most of the time another side was just mindlessly walking around when you tried to accomplish something on the other side. The idea would need some more work to make decisions actually matter on both sides, making it more like a puzzle game. As a side note, I got some motion sickness by playing this game. I won't let it greatly affect my ratings but it shows that moving background that the player is not actively focusing on may cause this effect. |
| Apr 23 15:26:21 | 5m 55s | [Release]Rhythm Tower Defense | ♥ 1 | Cool idea that could be a good game if developed further with some polish. For some reason I don't think the notes really hit the beat in this game and therefore it was not as rewarding as it could have been. Another problem was that hitting the notes did not have a direct impact in the game world - which made the two genres feel a bit disconnected. But overall, pretty good for a marathon game! |
| Apr 23 15:32:01 | 5m 40s | Type Dungeon | ♥ 1 | Interesting idea and I think it could have potential if developed further. The nitpick I have is that the movement in this game feels more like a purposefully designed annoyance. Adding time limit to this makes it even more stressful to play. I know some people enjoy challenges like this but I personally could used some direction and motivation. Maybe the letters could form actual words where you would have to type those instead of random, disconnected letters? Maybe player could use some skills/spells by typing a specific word? I don't really have an answer but I think this game might have something with a direction like this. |
| Apr 23 15:36:07 | 4m 06s | A Knight's Bounty | ♥ 1 | Good start and maybe with some work it could become something. I already like the graphics and playing feels smooth. Themewise it was probably cut short because of the time, which is ok. The game is quite short and feels a bit unfair when enemies start to get faster. But overall, as a marathon game it is a potential start! |
| Apr 23 15:40:51 | 4m 44s | Rythmer | ♥ 0 | Neat idea and with some work it could be quite fun game. I had a bit hard time figuring out when should shoot and when not. I think the screenshake was supposed to give a direction to that but I did not find that too helpful. Also, I think the rhythm aspect could also be attached to other mechanics as well. But overall, fun idea and as a marathon game pretty good presentation as well! By the way, since the art is not your own (at least fully), you should opt out in graphics ratings. |
| Apr 23 16:08:25 | 27m 34s | Fish Master | ♥ 1 | Cool idea and mash-up with the Pokemon theme. I was left hoping that fish were a bit different from each other. Maybe more mechanics to manipulate the distance or maybe fish itself. Items like in Pokemon could have worked here. All in all, good game with nice aesthetics but a bit repetitive. |
| Apr 23 16:17:46 | 9m 21s | Tower Defense Dating Simulator | ♥ 1 | Fun mash-up and it was especially interesting game because our group also made a (robot) dating simulator! I would the mechanics in this game very charming. Giving gifts was my absolute favorite! For a marathon game graphics were very good and they fit into the whole theme of the game very well. Overall very charming game! <3 |
| Apr 23 16:24:55 | 7m 09s | Heart-Type | ♥ 1 | Very neat game. I liked the mood, graphics and the idea. There is an interesting balance in longer words being generally slower but having more letters to survive. The only nitpicks I have that the game is a bit too slow which is shame because many marathon testers will probably get to later levels where the game gets more interesting. I would love this game to be developed further. |
| Apr 23 16:41:07 | 16m 12s | Think Hockey | ♥ 0 | Pretty fun game! With some balancing it could have some real potential. In this version it is a bit too easy to steal the puck which leads to back and forth going in the middle zone. If we think about hockey as a game, I would try to balance this more towards direction which would generate more shots towards the goal. But I enjoyed it, thanks! |
| Apr 23 16:44:49 | 3m 42s | 91' Evolution Football | ♥ 1 | I like the theme, I would have definitely loved something like this as a kid! Aesthetics and story are also very cool. The game plays a bit clunky. Controls are ok but everything seems a bit buggy and it is hard to control the ball. It is also hard to realize where you are in the playing field. But overall, nice theme and mood. Some polishing and it could be a fun game! |
| Apr 23 16:52:23 | 7m 34s | Shoot'em at Pong | ♥ 1 | Pretty creative idea where your own bullets become also your enemy. I like how it's take of a classic genre. The only nitpick I have is that it is quite hard at first to realize what is going on. Also the sound effects get quite annoying because you cannot control how often it plays. But overall, nice idea and creative game! |
| Apr 23 16:55:22 | 2m 59s | TetriShooter | ♥ 1 | Nifty idea! The controls in the tetris part could use some polish. Still, I was quite surprised when the tetris part ended! :D Fun little game! |
| Apr 23 17:01:18 | 5m 56s | Spaceloop | ♥ 1 | Controls are very good and fit the theme of the game. Art is also good especially you have done everything during the marathon. Impressive! The nitpick I have is that the player has a bit too little time during the beginning to move. Since you have to start the game via mouse, it results multiple annoying deaths in the beginning. I would also tune the speed a bit. Overall the game world is too near to the bottom of the screen and player has too little wiggling room at the beginning. But overall, fun little game! |
| Apr 23 17:05:57 | 4m 39s | Elemental Monk | ♥ 1 | Even though the game is a bit confusing first, it was still a nice and simple experience. Mechanics fit for this art style very well and the idea is quite fresh. I would have hoped some easier start or a tutorial of some sort. Still, a good and charming game! |
| Apr 23 17:12:50 | 6m 53s | Save The Jazz | ♥ 1 | Fun concept and it is one of the best rhythm games I've seen this marathon. I was kind of worried how jazz would fit in this kind of game but you kept it simple enough that it was easy (at least for me) to figure out the beat. I had some issues though. The beat detection seemed quite iffy at times and it can feel very bad for the player if he thinks he hit the beat but the program thinks otherwise. Especially in this game where hitting the off beat is very punishing. I would have tried something like guards turning towards the off beat action. Another issue I had were the guard sight lines. In some maps they were way too long and that gave player no chance to counteract when guards were turning. But overall, as a marathon game (and hard genre to implement) it was very good! |
| Apr 23 17:18:30 | 5m 40s | Rhythm Jumper | ♥ 0 | Pretty neat and the rhythm detection worked well enough for a marathon game. Sometimes it felt that it missed some of the beats but that might have been just me. I personally found the graphics charming but the music did not really fit the aesthetic. Nevertheless, the music was still ok for this kind of game. |
| Apr 23 17:40:26 | 21m 56s | DeathBall | ♥ 1 | Pretty neat game! Art is obviously glorious and effects added in Unity give the game a very professional and polished look. It shows that you put some love and hours to those models! The game itself is pretty fun. It is maybe a bit too fast for my taste and occasionally it it hard to hit the ball since it requires pretty good aiming. Overall, with some gameplay tuning this game could be very neat. Still a very good performance for a marathon! |
| Apr 23 17:47:56 | 7m 30s | Rainy Night | ♥ 1 | Simple but cool game! I really liked the aesthetics. Together with music they created pretty calming feeling, also a bit mysterious. Just something like you would get by driving during night when raining! Only the theme could have been a bit more interesting. I think the kiwis broke the theme for me. But overall nice experience! |
| Apr 23 19:08:21 | 1h 20m | Goal Defense | ♥ 1 | Fun combination. At first it feels exactly like it is, like being bombed by dozens of cannons. After a while you will get a hang of it and it will become easier. I still would have prefered more responsive controls. The game is challenging enough that I feel it doesn't have to have hard controls too. But good theme and very cohesive result for a marathon game! |
| Apr 23 19:13:21 | 5m 00s | Flappy Soccer | ♥ 2 | What a wacky concept and it is surprisingly fun! I think the game is a bit too punishing - if you miss, you are out. I would hope that the ball would respawn after a short amount of time. But overall, nice twist on a pretty boring genre - making it surprising and fun for a while again. |
| Apr 23 19:17:08 | 3m 47s | Red vs Ted | ♥ 0 | I managed to drag till the end - it was surprising if nothing else! |
| Apr 23 19:48:41 | 31m 33s | Car(d) Race | ♥ 0 | Pretty fun and simple mash-up. I gotta say, I really loved the menu and the fact that everything in this game is done via cards. The game itself was fun and quite challenging. I felt it was quite hard that you cannot drop cards directly on the car but you have you use the aiming tip. I think it could have been a bit more intuitive if you could do that but I guess I got used to this as well. Overall, fun little game. Good presentation especially for the time used! |
| Apr 24 15:21:47 | 19h 33m | Ruoste | ♥ 1 | I really loved the mood and aesthetics in this game. Graphics, music and sound effects created very depressing feeling - in a good way. After these I was left hoping some kind of backstory or explanation. Gameplay wise, the idea is great and fits the jam theme. Even though I lost some runs due to bad luck, I was able to complete the game on my fourth try. The game is quite punishing especially when the movement is often a bit clunky. The character may or may not keep moving after certain actions which makes deaths sometimes unavoidable. I still felt that playing was quite smooth. It was fun to plan ahead what cards to keep when you started to learn the map. Usually I wanted to save movement+front jump combo. I never actually wanted to use backwards movement or jumping so maybe that is something that could have been taken into account in level design. Overall, aesthetically very cool game. With some more work on mechanics and level design it could be a pretty neat game. |
| Apr 24 15:28:26 | 6m 39s | Catalpa | ♥ 3 | I don't think I have to talk about graphics anymore, they are stunning and something you could easily find from some game on Steam today. I did not get the point (and theme) of the game but it was still a stunning experience. The flying was smooth although I would have liked to have more freedom moving the ship and camera. Now I constantly felt my movement was restricted. Overall it was graphically and aesthetically very pleasing game. Some work on actual gameplay and you guys might have a real game in your hands. |
| Apr 24 15:40:18 | 11m 52s | Survival Soccer | ♥ 3 | Fun idea and I really like the implementation. Playing is very smooth and feels polished. The biggest nitpick I have is that the two themes do not feel well integrated. What are you trying to do? Play soccer? Survive? Apparently just survive by shooting the zombies with the ball. But I feel it could have been more. Maybe the players actually could be playing soccer while casually killing some zombies? I don't know, but I felt the game needed something more to make two themes work in tandem. Still a good game for a marathon! Thanks! :) |
| Apr 24 15:45:51 | 5m 33s | Star Battle Poker | ♥ 1 | Very good presentation and good idea. Gameplay, controls and aesthetics feel very polished. The only nitpick I have is that the two themes do not feel so integrated. It is a mystery to me how to damage is calculated. I lost chips in a hand and then I also get punished by getting damaged. I think there should be more clear connection between your chips and ship health. Overall, nice game and good idea for the theme! |
| Apr 24 15:51:40 | 5m 49s | Opposing Worlds | ♥ 3 | Very good. The boomerang mechanic is done very well and controlling it feels very polished. Platforming is ok but there is some clunckiness and hitboxes feel unnecessarily large. You throw quite hard obstacles to the player - and maybe too quickly. I think many players will get frustrated in the beginning. Graphics are great, although I did not really get the theme here. Sure, there are two graphics styles being mashed together but that does not seem particularly interesting or surprising. Overall, nice game and you get huge bonus points for the boomerang. |
| Apr 24 15:56:48 | 5m 08s | AstroDeck | ♥ 1 | I can see the concept you were trying to go towards. Unfortunately the card mechanic does feel a bit forced - more like a "gimmicky" inventory mechanic. I would have hoped that cards would have some other effects, maybe bonuses for the ship when you play them. Other than that, controlling the ship feels great and destroying asteroids is fun. The sound effects were annoying at first but I think I got used to them. Overall, pretty good game for a marathon which could use some more work on the two themes. |
| Apr 24 16:01:58 | 5m 10s | Survival Dash | ♥ 1 | Game is definitely fun and well made. However, I had some issues figuring out what is happening. There is too much information on the screen. And even though the art is great, some items are hard to recognize on the go. The theme and concept are very good though. I personally would have gone some other route - maybe there could be two parts in the game, running and night. During day you run, gathering resources and trying to survive. During night you can freely craft stuff and get ready for the next day of running. But your idea is great too, I just think it requires too much attention and multitasking to my liking. Thanks for the game, it was fun! |
| Apr 24 16:06:20 | 4m 22s | A-Card Shooter | ♥ 1 | Cool concept and I think the implementation is very polished. Art is great and game play feels smooth. Even some screen shake effect - stuff that I never expect from marathon games. One thing I particularly liked was the mechanic where taking damage reduces your card slots. The one nitpick I have is that the card game element feels a bit forced in this game. The cards could have just been power ups, items or abilities. Maybe there should have been some kind of deck element or something to make it feel more like a card game. But maybe that's just me! Overall, nice and very polished game for a marathon! |
| Apr 24 16:11:37 | 5m 17s | Cursed Princess | ♥ 1 | I really appreciate there was a story created for a marathon game. The gameplay was cute but for some reason it did not really click with me. Maybe there was not enough choices to make or some choices you made felt not too impactful. Still a good game for a marathon! |
| Apr 24 16:20:22 | 8m 45s | RuneTowers | ♥ 1 | Very good and actually relaxing game. I did not expect that those themes would fit too well together and suspected that the mash up could be forced. But nope, it was actually quite good. One particular thing that made it feel good was the polish that was done to mouse actions. It felt natural to drag the elements in the mini game and also drag towers into place. The game got quite hard very quickly. I would have preferred the relaxing phase, but screw casuals like me, right? :D What I would improve? I would make different elements more distinct from each other and what they do. I know that there was the instruction manual but they still felt quite the same for me. With little more thought to mechanics and graphics and this could be a nice game! |
| Apr 24 16:25:40 | 5m 18s | Ultimate Card Fighter VS Zombies | ♥ 1 | Fun idea! I had some issues figuring out what was going on first but pretty quickly caught up. I found it quite annoying that you had to wait until the end of time to game to continue. Many times I had no reasonable cards to play so I just wanted to skip the planning phase. Another annoying thing was that you needed to use mouse to pick cards. At the same time you needed your both hands for the keyboard during fighting. Changing between two is very frustrating and picking cards should have been possible with keyboard. But overall, good concept and I loved how many different abilities you managed to make for a marathon game! |
| Apr 24 16:29:12 | 3m 32s | Crash to the Past | ♥ 1 | Nice idea and props for the leaderboard! Graphics are also charming. I was left hoping for some catchy music and sound effects to keep playing longer but you cannot have them all during a marathon! :) |
| Apr 24 16:34:11 | 4m 59s | Axe and Roses | ♥ 4 | Very cool game. Presentation is top notch and I can see the love that was put into the dialog. One thing I would fix is to try to show progress to the player. Now it just seems you are having a dialog but it is hard to track how you are progressing. Maybe more clear reactions from the date partner or something along those lines? Overall, very enjoyable game and nice take on dating sim genre! |
| Apr 25 05:24:00 | 12h 49m | Flower Hero | ♥ 2 | Amazing presentation, I absolutely love the aesthetics of the game. The concept is good but I very often ended up in situations where the cards just did not line up. If you plan to continue developing this game, add some way to manipulate deck to give more control to the player and less to RNG. Overall, very neat experience and amazing music. |
| Apr 25 08:00:23 | 2h 36m | Battle Bots | ♥ 1 | Actually pretty interesting game! After reading the description I was quite confused what the time mechanic was meant to be. But after I started playing I was actually positively surprised how it worked. It was quite a clever idea to attach missile moving to time and only make the time pass when some actions where happening. I should maybe play some more before I could comment on balance. I would imagine the game would quite easily last very long against a human player. Overall I quite liked it! Mechanic was smart and with some more work on the game it might be quite good! |
| Apr 25 14:18:45 | 6h 18m | Brute Force Art Defence | ♥ 1 | Surprisingly fun game! A lot of different tower mechanics kept the game interesting for a quite long time (for a marathon game). One thing I would have improved was the card mechanic. Now it just feels more like a gimmick where random abilities you draw are cards. Card element would feel more integrated to the game if player had more ways to manipulate deck. But overall, very nice game and I enjoyed it quite a bit! |
| Apr 25 14:21:56 | 3m 11s | Hadecken | ♥ 2 | Very good and impressive presentation. Even though it took me quite a while to understand what on earth is going on, it was still a nice game. Love the polish and love put into this game! |
| Apr 25 14:24:04 | 2m 08s | Tetriform | ♥ 1 | Heh, that was a surprising concept. Quite hard but once you start to get hang of it, it's actually quite fun. Great work! |
| Apr 25 14:28:59 | 4m 55s | Honest Dan's Trout | ♥ 1 | Very polished and it feels good to play. I personally don't think those two themes are too "imcompatible" - other than the fact that the game has a lot going on which is not certainly everyone's cup of tea. But overall, it is still a very good game as a marathon game and extra props for all the polish that has gone to this! |
| Apr 25 14:35:20 | 6m 21s | Shuffle Climber | ♥ 1 | It is a very charming game with nice presentation and good amount of polish. However, it could use some balancing. Now the card mechanic just feels like random moves being drawn for you. The player is so reliant on the jump card that every game just goes to trying to get rid of other cards to *hopefully* get a jump. The absolute worst example of this is the possibility to die right at the beginning if you don't get jump card in your first draws. If you wanted to make the card game theme more integrated with the game, player should maybe have some ways to manipulate the deck or the cards that are getting drawn. Give more power to the player, tune down the RNG factor. Other than the points mentioned, I still think it is a charming game with nice idea. Just a little bit more thought and it could be a very cool game! |
| Apr 25 14:42:50 | 7m 30s | Rythm is Lava | ♥ 1 | Charming game that clearly has a lot of thought behind it. The only nitpick I have is that the difficulty ramps up very quickly for a marathon game. That combined with PICO's graphics and the things get quite unclear and hectic quite fast. I would personally think this kind of game would work a lot better with larger resolution graphics. PICO graphics are sometimes just too small to be clear enough for faster games. But overall, very cool game with good amount of polish! |
| Apr 25 14:48:08 | 5m 18s | PE@CE | ♥ 1 | Very cool game. I've seen similar concepts attempting to mix up ascii with some other genre. I think this is one of the best examples how the clarity can be still kept even with ascii graphics. Amazing job on that part! The level design was a bit repetitive and mostly too easy for my liking. The controls were definitely good but sometimes I was left hoping that they would be a bit more responsive. There was some unnecessary slide to the character which caused some frustrating deaths. But overall, very good implementation and I quite enjoyed it! |
| Apr 25 14:55:08 | 7m 00s | ACCIDENTAL EXISTENTIAL | ♥ 1 | Well that was interesting and certainly different. I can greatly appreciate the polish that has gone into this game. |
| Apr 25 14:57:51 | 2m 43s | Divorcetepus | ♥ 0 | Cool visuals and I can certainly see the mood you were attempting to achieve. For some reason it did not really become clear to me what was the point or goal of this game. I would have loved to have some backstory or instructions. I guess there were some references but they did not help me to get into the game. Still quite good for a marathon game. With some backstory it could open up a whole different way! |
| Apr 25 15:01:00 | 3m 09s | Run Slash Kill | ♥ 0 | Great to see some actual puzzle games in this marathon! Some of the levels had pretty cool designs but most of them had a bit too clear solutions. With some more time, I think you could have come up with pretty nice puzzles! Still a nice game for a marathon! |
| Apr 25 15:08:52 | 7m 52s | Ballistic Skylines | ♥ 1 | That a pretty interesting mash up of those genres! I was certainly surprised about the mechanic - which is always a good thing in a marathon. The only nitpick I have is that it almost felt that I should not shoot my buildings to the sky - rather just shoot them as low as possible. I guess if there had been some terrain or obstacles blocking the way I would have thought otherwise. But overall, nice game with clear thought put into the idea! |
| Apr 25 15:14:44 | 5m 52s | Fern Factories | ♥ 0 | Cool concept and nice presentation with a catchy tune. I found the controls very hard and it was even harder to understand what was going on. Switching between two modes was not made too clear for the player. Platforming was pretty good but it had some clumsiness especially when you had to jump from the edge in a tight spot. Promising concept that could use some more bug fixing, polish and proper instructions! |
| Apr 25 15:22:46 | 8m 02s | Gender Circles | ♥ 1 | Simple game that is actually quite fun to play! The only nitpick I have is that as a partially color blind person I had difficult time differentiating between gender circles from each other. I would have appreciated if circles were a bit different from each other. But I guess you cannot hope accessibility from a marathon game! :D Extra props for music by the way! |
| Apr 25 15:25:56 | 3m 10s | TRPG Meets GAMES | ♥ 1 | Heh, funny implementation of the theme! The game itself feels quite good and polished but for me it feels a bit one dimensional. However, you cannot hope much more from marathon game! Great job! |
| Apr 25 15:29:18 | 3m 22s | Super Platformer RPG | ♥ 1 | Pretty neat idea! I liked how the platforming worked - it felt smooth and responsive. Great job on that part. The nitpick I have is that the fights were pretty repetitive and I was just hoping them to end so I could get back to platforming. I still like the idea though. With some more thought and dept in battles this game could have some potential! |
| Apr 25 15:34:31 | 5m 13s | Point'n'Kill | ♥ 1 | I enjoyed that a lot more than I would have expected! Very cool but simple game. Presentation was very good and game overall felt polished. The only nitpick I have that there were times I took damage but it was not clear to me why. Most likely I slightly missed the attack - it just did not seem like that visually. But overall, very good and polished experience! |
| Apr 25 15:36:47 | 2m 16s | Remember or Die | ♥ 0 | Funny concept and pretty good presentation too! I feel that the difficulty ramps up a bit too quickly - especially when it is a marathon game. Overall, pretty cool game and with the difficulty turned down a notch I would be very positive about it! |
| Apr 26 14:06:22 | 22h 29m | Heaven and Earth | ♥ 1 | What I really liked about this game was how it built its mechanics over time. Most marathon games throw all at the player as quickly as possible but this game kept it simple and taught the player slowly. Even thought me mechanics were simple, I still enjoyed this game quite a bit. Presentation was great and the only nitpick I have was the sound effects which started to become quite annoying. Overall, still very good game with superb learning curve for a marathon game! |

I found the movement somewhat janky and for some reason it did not feel that the time actually stopped when I did not move. For example, the meteor can hit you outside of your turns - which feels iffy. But overall, cool idea and nice presentation. Very good as a marathon game! |

Extra props for animations which made this game feel polished. The bit nitpick I have are the controls. It is really a struggle for the player to move the character. Basically everything in this game takes a one click too much effort and the controls are not intuitive at all. With some proper controls this could be a very charming little game! |

The only thing I would work on would be platforming mechanics. The controls could be more responsive. But you cannot have it all in a marathon, this was still one of the best games I've played during this jam. |
