Aug 25 01:23:00 Someone stole the Princess! Nice work! And nice roguelite! :)

The game does start to lag a bit after some floors, even if left alone it starts lagging.

Cheers and nice work, again! :D
Aug 25 01:28:00 5m 00s Monster Truck Rampage Whoa! Certainly, besides Monster Energy Drink it was one of the ideas that came to my mind at first.

I have a thing for isometric games so I liked the graphics. They're simple, but work quite well. It also reminded a bit about Rock'n Roll Racing, even more with the soundtrack.

It was quite a nice play. :D
Aug 25 01:32:00 4m 00s Be My Friend ! Interesting concept about "making friends". If they don't like ya, just eat'em! Very monster-ish. :P

Sometimes you have to wander a bit to find friends, but the game played quite nicely.

Click to play again isn't working for me, though.

Best is 15 friends here. :P
Aug 25 04:37:00 3h 05m Pumpi First to rate? Nice! :) I love how your games are all-ages and fun to play even for adults. I'm going to show this to my young cousin later and I'm certain he will like it!

Graphics were nicely done, really liked the scream animation. Really gives a nice retro-pc gaming feel for me. :D

Soundtrack fits really well with the game and the controls are simple and functional.

Congrats and Cheers! :D
Aug 25 15:19:00 10h 42m You! Are the monster Whoa! Really nice! Even more with the generated puzzles, great work on the logic here! :P

I saw you wrote "programmer graphics" in one of the posts while programming, but I think they're pretty functional and fit nicely with the detective game.

Everything works fine here, really. Having a heavier jumpscare when you guess it wrong could be a nice thing. :3

"you are the monster" *bling* >:B

Congrats and cheers! :)
Aug 25 15:28:00 9m 00s Don't Get Caught! First of all, congrats on your first LD entry! :) Don't worry you if had just a bit of time to work on your game, you DID it and that's already really good! Next time you'll do it with more time! ;)

The game is quite fun, even though simple. Controls are functional and I think the time required to get the "feel" of the game is quite right.

When there's two guards behind me it becomes a no-win scenario, though.

And criminals are all some kind of monster. ;D

$22.59 was my record! :D

Cheers!
Aug 25 20:51:00 5h 23m Dude, Stop Awesome! This is just so much fun! XD Nice take on the theme! There's all kinds of monsters out there, from what I can see.

More levels would add even more fun, but this is just nice as it is! :D

Nice pixelated graphics! :)

Cheers!
Aug 26 21:13:00 24h 22m Quarantine Whoa, this is really fun! The concept is really nice and the upgrade system is also really a plus. :)

It's simple, but effective in every way, from the pixelated graphics to the "soundtrack", which remind me a little bit of some new jack swing beats. :P

The simple controls make it fun to play and easy for everyone.

It was a blast! Cheers and Congrats! :)
Aug 26 21:31:00 18m 00s Melas It was a bit hard to get the hangs of it first, but it was a nice play! :)

The challenges are really nice and well thought. Sometimes, the game reminded me a bit about sokoban. Maybe it was the boxes.

Anyway, the game was really well thought! Congrats! :)
Aug 26 21:39:00 8m 00s Browser pest The idea of being a cookie monster eating cookies on everyone's computers is brilliant! As someone said, it would also be nice as some kind of edutainment thing. :)

I think it just need a bit of refinement with the collider, but overall the idea is pretty nice! :)

The colorful look is really a charm.

I don't know why, but when I got "Error, you have broken the computer" I burst out laughing! XD
Aug 26 21:57:00 18m 00s Law of Nature Nice work with this eating->evolving game. :)

The handdrawn graphics are really nice and it gives a nice feeling to the game. Soundtrack just feels right and completes the mood of the game perfectly.

Simple gameplay mechanics are really nice too!

More evolution stages, evolution branching and a lot of things come to mind when you start to think how this game could be expanded. I hope you'll be able to expand on this idea and go further with it! :)

Cheers!
Aug 26 22:07:00 10m 00s Greetings, Human Nice storytelling, pretty interesting concept for a game! :)

The time required to play and have fun feels just right and the challenges are really nice too!

Feels like a mix of Papers Please, memory games and a "Where's Waldo" feel when you gotta search for the cards with greetings.

Really elegant, well thought and, btw, nice logo. :P
Aug 26 22:19:00 12m 00s Vicit Vim Virtus Whoa! Amazing work on this text adventure, really. Well made, the branching and writing are really good and the story just feels right. :)

I wouldn't be able to think about a branching system like this. Really, congrats! :D

Cheers!
Aug 27 09:15:00 10h 56m Basket Case *splat* *splat* *splat*

First of all, congrats on fnishing your first game! I hope you'll keep making and participating on LD! :) My Unity skills are just as good as my latin knowledge (none) so, for me, a first game made in Unity is quite a feat. :)

The idea is pretty nice and being the dude who always prevents people from making points, is really a monstrous idea (I know because I've been called worse for doing it ;D).

I don't know if you played it, but this has that "fly swatter game" feeling from Mario Paint, which I think is quite nice. :D

It would be a good thing to work on this game and improve it, as this can be even more fun. Like, include an upgrade system, power ups, double swatter! :P

Anyway, cheers! And congrats! :3
Aug 27 09:34:00 19m 00s One of Us Beautiful! The graphics are pretty well done, the soundtrack fits like a glove and controls are responsive too! :)

Reminded me of lots of games I've played during the 16-bit era. :P

I didn't get the slimes' timing at first and the mushroom timing is faaaaast, but it was fun to play!

Nicely done! :) Cheers!
Aug 27 09:54:00 20m 00s Prowl Whoa! Nice!

Nice work on the main character! The challenge is also pretty good! :)

The dark graphics, together with the audio, creates a nice mood for the game. It's even more intensified by the way the main character moves and the speed. :P

Couldn't avoid any farmer! >_<
Aug 27 10:05:00 11m 00s MAN - SPIDER This concept of a "reversed spider-man" is really nice, and can be even more fun if you work more on it! :)

The intro cutscene and the concept itself is really fun and could turn into a nice parody of spider-man with some kind of godzilla action. :)

Reminded a bit of the Rampage series here!:P And for a first game is pretty nice, I'm sure!

Congrats! :D
Aug 27 10:29:00 24m 00s Hero Mate Whoa, beautiful! The art style is cute and the game is really challenging. :D The polishing you did on this game is really worth it! :)

I wouldn't be able to do even half of the 3d work done here. :P It would be nice to see something with the monster not dying, like being a slime block on Minecraft. :P

Controls are nice and responsive and the audio/ost fits the game pretty nicely. :)

It would really be nice as a tablet/mobile game. It's also really friendly for children, save for the "monster has to die" thing.

Congrats! :)
Aug 27 10:35:00 6m 00s TAG! You're it! Nice! I had a similar idea, but I wouldn't be able to build it like this! My vision of a tag game was a bit more violent and wouldn't be fun, so I dismissed it.

But your execution on the idea is just perfect and fun! Kid friendly, but challenging!

I'm missing some audio, children screaming, some taunts maybe? But the game itself feels really complete! :)

Congrats!
Aug 27 10:44:00 9m 00s Delusion Nice take on the theme! From the screenshots you can't just understand the game. You've got to play the game to enjoy it. :)

This thing about switching between the "cruel reality" and imagination is really nice and could be worked upon more.

Maybe not dying, but difficulty to escape increases, for example.

Anyway, really nice for a first entry! Congrats! :)
Aug 27 10:53:00 9m 00s Sly Slime - Revenge On All Players Nice nice! A "revenge of the slime" game, huh? ;)

Nice voxelized graphics! The camera angle, play style, some elements and graphics reminded me strongly of Voxatron. :P

Nice work with audio, for pinpointing enemy direction! It helps, but the game is pretty challenging so I always die easily. :P

I'd say controls are a bit slow, but it's a slime! Slimes don't move that fast, do they? ;D So it's perfect!

Congrats! :)
Aug 27 18:44:00 7h 51m Super Dino Dino Attack Nice! It reminded me of some classic games like City Connection and Bubble Bobble, which I think it's quite a nice thing!

Pixelated graphics for this kind of game are a must have! The main character and the enemies are nicely drawn.

Soundtrack also fits perfectly and helps give that feeling of retro action game. :)

On the Unity Web version of the game, the controls feel a bit hard and don't work properly (maybe it's the same with HTML5/Web exporters, I had some with Fusion's HTML5). On the PC version it works better, sometimes I can't change direction, though.

Overall, the gameplay experience is really nice and well thought. Maybe I would add more time, more levels, stomping, but the game just feels right the way it is. :D

Congrats and Cheers! :) Bom trabalho! :D
Aug 28 11:13:00 16h 29m A Fox's Journey The game looks really cute and brought me some memories of games I've played when younger, on my SNES. :3

The characters look really cure and the art is nicely done, soundtrack is also really nice and completes the games in a good way. :)

It would be better to use the keyboard to skip the text, since controls are keyboard based.

Projectiles/powers take a bit to shoot, the slime power felt like it was the weakest for me until now. :P

But overall, nice and charming game! Congrats! :D
Aug 28 14:07:00 2h 54m Elegy of the Night Hahaha! Nice! Now we're all monsters! :) I didn't expect that, and it's nice to see a visual novel in here.

It's a bit short, but well written. It would be nice to see some more, branching, even more twists and stuff. :P

Congrats! :)
Aug 28 14:13:00 6m 00s Creep Great! :)

As some people said, some sfx for the humans would be a nice addition to the game. Some ambient sounds would also be a nice addition. :D

The game itself feels nice to play and controls are pretty responsive.

It really gives a feeling of being some kind of creature, some kind of desperation to move those boxes and get to the ventilation system. :)

I also liked the FOV used. :P
Aug 28 14:24:00 11m 00s We Missed You! Whoa! Nice work with Pico! There are some great things coming for it! :P

Graphics were nicely done and the soundtrack completes the fun in a pleasing way, good job! :3

I kind got stuck as some kind of "bird" (wasn't out of the car, wasn't even the car), I wonder if it was a bug or I didn't pay attention :P (probably this last one).

Anyway, nice work with Pico! :D
Aug 28 14:40:00 16m 00s Pogue It certainly fits well enough into the theme, while at the same time bring that question of "is it ok to kill hundreds of civilians to catch some few terrorists/criminals/whatever"?

But I think something besides "shoot the red dots" could be used together with the simple art style which is quite effective for the game.

It feels like you're watching a radar view of the territory and the radar points to objects/persons, or something like that.

Being some kind of radar brings even further the question about guilt on killing civilians, since you're just watching a screen, while shooting where you're directed to. :P

Nice work here! :)
Aug 28 14:43:00 3m 00s Young Bicycler Adventurer I think, somehow, the theme was followed in the game. As you can just go and run over moms. :P

And the idea is quite fun itself, but biking is a bit hard, even more if you have to pay atention to the lanes and the moms/obstacles.

Had a good laugh and fun with this game. :) Nice artwork too. :D
Aug 28 14:51:00 8m 00s There are Tourists in my Castle Great concept and use of theme! Nice work with the graphics and soundtrack too, SFX also nicely blend, I think. :)

The controls are easy to get and the overall gameplay feels really nice. Though I feel the game is a bit too open.

Some challenges and puzzles, together with this mechanic you build, would bring something really nice, I think, but it's already fun the way it is. :3

Congrats! :D
Aug 28 14:57:00 6m 00s Lethally Cute Haha nice! Feels like it's a Spore, but where you generate creatures to scare and kill! Could be a great kickstart to something even bigger! :)

Nice work with the customization, cute graphics and audio!

Some UI elements need to be dynamically positioned because of certain resolutions, though. On 16:9 screens it works well, but on 4:3 proportions, they get cropped. :P

Congrats on the game! :D
Aug 28 15:14:00 17m 00s AM I? I do believe drunk drivers/motorcyclists are always monsters too, so I think it fits perfectly within the theme.

Good work on the art, some visual FX would improve the idea even more!

Controls are working just fine for me, both Web/PC versions work great. Sometimes I can't get to the upper sidewalk in the web version. :P

Nice work, really. If you expand on it, you could use it to make some educational game about drunk driving too! Which I think it's waaay better than the instructional videos I've watched when I got my license. :P

Cheers and Congrats!
Aug 28 15:22:00 8m 00s Fireapocalypseeverseen!!! Graphics are really nice! The soundtrack is beautifully made and the concept behind the game is really great!

It feels a bit too short, could have more arenas, but it feels great to play it, though I feel some explanation for the power-up could be a good thing. :P

Nice work, you really made a beautiful game here! :)
Aug 28 15:30:00 8m 00s Vendetta! Nice idea, the execution is pretty nice, though I feel movement could be a bit faster.

Sometimes I just ran through pac-man, sometimes the power up wears off and he still can kill me, though. :P

Nice work on programming it with a level designer, it adds a replay factor which is pretty good.
Aug 28 16:05:00 35m 00s Petit Monstre Nice! This has some really great potential! Keep it up! :D I can already imagine it like a childhood-play-simulator-platform game or something along these lines. :)

The audio in french, with the subtitles add something very special in the game.

And the whole experience reminds me a lot about my childhood. :3 Now I want some blocks to play here! XD

My PC is a bit slow and my GFX card isn't the best one, but it was a nice play, really! :D

Congrats!
Aug 28 16:15:00 10m 00s TheDOT I got the concept of the game and I think, if you had more time without the need to familiarize yourself with Unity, you could have taken this idea even further. :) I can see, besides elements of action-rpg, some strategy game elements too. Keep it up! :)

After you get the water weapon, it would be a good thing if you could change weapons, the water weapon couldn't be used agains the humans, at least in the Web version.
Aug 28 16:22:00 7m 00s I Am Zombie! Nice retro style arena-infection game. :) I can see more potential in this one. :D

You could make it more chaotic, make infected people infect others for a short time before they disintegrate. Some kind of vomit/spit for the main char. :P

The genre of the loop in the soundtrack is also really nice and well chosen. :)

Cheers and Congrats!
Aug 29 00:04:00 7h 42m Sunset Monster Oh, nice twist there! :)

The minimalistic style is really charming, I'd love to see a full game using this style of graphics! Reminded me of those old mini-games, Game & Watch style. :P

Nice work on the audio there too, really, it really completes the mood, both sound FX and soundtrack.

Controls also work great, I've played the web version and it plays really nice! :D

Great work overall, really! :D

P.s.: Try to increase the side on the Ludum Dare frame to 460 by 660, this way the game frame won't scroll! :P
Aug 29 04:07:00 4h 03m Exogorth Interesting and fun concept, but controlling the monster felt a bit strange. :P

The graphics are really nice, the cave rendering is beautiful but the ships give some kind of contrast, though.

The mood is quite nice and the chosen soundtrack certainly helps establish the atmosphere. :3

Controls, as said, felt a bit strange. I didn't understand, at first, how they worked also. I could only bite one ship and collided with another, I found a bit hard to define when is the right time to chew.

But I'd like to see something more like this! :D

Cheers!
Aug 29 04:16:00 9m 00s Calcusaurus Whoa! This is really good! Nice graphics, nice visuals and a pretty clever concept for a game! :)

It offers quite a nice challenge, is totally fun and also pretty much educational! Kids just learning math could easily play this game to have some practice. ;)

Loved it! :3
Aug 29 04:38:00 22m 00s The sleep of reason produces monsters The idea is really nice, really. Loved the art style and, together with the OST, it helps set up a really nice mood for the game!

The bug where the mobs spawn after some time is a bit strange, but didn't get in the way as I was playing and enjoying it. :)

I felt the need for some extra explanation/instructions, together with the narrative, but it's nice already. :P

I played the game and read the post-mortem before writing this and, even more after reading what you wrote, I certainly think it fits perfectly into the theme and can be expanded to include a lot of things, I'm sure. :P

It was quite a nice experience to play your game. :D

Cheers!
Aug 29 21:17:00 16h 39m Primer Even with the simple graphics, you got the mood right for the game! :)

The controls work fine the way they are, but I'd do some adjustments with the wall climbing/jumping mechanics. More like when close to a ledge.

Teleporting works like a charm and it feels nice for a stealth-type of game. :P

Nice snow, btw. ;D
Aug 30 01:25:00 4h 08m Sales of a Deathman Hahaha! Did I just had a good laugh by selling some "shady" cars to buyers on a tight budget? What a monster I am! :P

The moment I read "The seats burst, killing the [family] instantly...you made profit today" I burst laughing here. I'd feel really bad if it wasn't this fun. :D

The graphics and sound reminded me of old DOS adventure games.

Nice take on the theme, really! You made us all real monsters! :)
Sep 11 03:36:00 290h 11m Around the Waterfall The concept is interesting, feels like a mix of a j-rpg with shooter elements. Nice 8-bit style on the art too.

Randomized colors for characters is also a really nice thing too! :)

It's just a beginning, but you have a pretty much defined genre and a backstory to work on.

Cheers! :)
Sep 12 22:07:00 42h 31m Excremonsters! Nice one! In 8 hours the most I can accomplish is make a sandwich. :P

The game is quite fun, despite being simple. It feels like Katamari (or Shitamari, as someone said) because of the game style, graphics and the upbeat setting.

Nice mood! :)

Cheers!
Sep 12 22:12:00 5m 00s Excluded Nice one! I totally get the monster/exclusion idea from the game, I think! :3

Nice work on the graphics! Flat-shaded polygons are really nice and remind me a lot of some games I played in the 90's (and, also, of Killer 7). :P

Audio also helps set up a nice mood for the game.

Controls work nicely too, I had some trouble sleeping/searching on dumpsters, mostly because I can't aim properly with my shitty mouse. XD

Good work! Cheers! :)
Sep 13 02:42:00 4h 30m Isláime Graphics look really nice and the animations, specially with the slimes, are really nicely done.

As a prototype, it's nice to play, but I miss some audio (some basic SFX would've helped) and some info on how to play. I had to guess what to do when I got to the red slime by typing on every key, until I learnt that 1, 2 and 3 does the character changes.

It's your first jam, so it's perfectly normal not being able to put everything you want/thought in the game, but put some explanation, ok? ;)

Anyway, nice work! You got a nice concept, if you put more work into it, might turn into a nice puzzle game! :)

P.s.: Pelo título do jogo eu estou chutando que você é brasileiro, correto? :P
Sep 13 02:52:00 10m 00s Dungeon Decks Playing the "boss" of the dungeon/map felt nice, and it's a nice challenge too! It's a nice idea, and it's a shame you couldn't put more time into it.

I like isometric graphics, so it's always a +1 for me, missing some sfx, but overall feels really nice as a prototype!

If further developed, I'm sure it would turn into a really nice tactic game! :D
Sep 13 03:08:00 16m 00s Pik & Pok Whoa, nice work! Totally feels like an 8-bit game that could've been released during the NES/Master System era, or even for GBC or the Game Gear.

The CRT-like fx is nice, the soundtrack is really nice too! The melodies are simple and catchy, and it's nice to have that "oh this is the soundtrack to world #1" when listening to a song. :P

Controls work pretty nicely too.

Doesn't stick to the theme, but it's a lovely game, really. :)

Cheers!
Sep 13 03:18:00 10m 00s Orange Squiggles ...Beware! Nice take on a classic game! :P

The fps rate of the game made me feel like playing an old mini-game, even more with the sound FX and music.

It's fun, but I had some trouble finding the right timing to turn the snake, but I've always been bad with these games. :3

Feels totally like a game that should've been released on Atari or other games from the pre-8-bit era.

When I saw the file size I thought it was some kind of joke, though. XD
Sep 13 03:36:00 18m 00s Anthill Your URL returns a 404 error! Downloaded from Github and played the game! :P

The graphics have that kid-flavored look and totally feels like something a kid would think and do. Some kind of "I'm gonna smash all those ants and be their king" kind of player, and it made the game even more fun to play!

Some funny screams from the people you kill are also a plus, andt they made me laugh and smile. :)

I just felt that movement was a bit slow, but didn't break the gameplay experience, so it's ok. :)

Anyway, nice work and cheers! ;D
Sep 13 18:05:00 14h 29m C.L.E.M. It's simple, but nice! The graphics and style, somehow, remembered me a little bit of a scaled down Ghost Babel, which is quite a good thing.

It's a shame you couldn't add everything you wanted in the game, but you did something! And you've got a nice prototype, so keep up! :D
Sep 13 18:14:00 9m 00s Square Dance The handdrawn graphics are a really nice thing and the game has some kind of psychedelic feel (dunno if I'm describing it the right way).

Songs, somehow, reminded a bit of some old games like Bubsy! for PC. THAT shooting SFX, though, gave me a fright! Should've turned down the phone volume as you said. :P

Somehow I found some glitched sprites of dead characters after the "circle" part, which led me to a white screen, is it a bug?
Sep 13 18:23:00 9m 00s A Forgetful Day Hmm...the game is a bit buggy...I don't know why or how I switch screens and the game suddenly stopped after I saw the grave.

No explanations make the game quite mysterious, though, which is nice, but sudden change of screens make it somehow a bit strange. :P

The graphics were nicely done and felt like some old DOS games I played when I was little. :)
Sep 13 18:38:00 15m 00s The Hook Nice work on the graphics and main character. Detective/adventure games are really nice to play, but I came upon a small bug in the solving system after I chose "maybe the furniture fell after..." and it just kept looping this message.

But you have some nice material to work on, so keep up. The story is quite a nice one and you can do so many with just the story and it would make a great game. :)

Cheers!
Sep 13 18:50:00 12m 00s Assault on Camp Crystal Candy Top down slasher game? Nice! The concept is really nice and all, but the graphics felt a bit strange, mainly the main character, which seemed a bit out of place (are there 2 sprites on the main char?).

Black text over the black walls/background also isn't that friendly for the user. The description felt a bit "thrown-in-place", but enough to understand the basics of the game.
Sep 13 18:55:00 5m 00s Bat Massacre Nice concept for a game! :) You're on a good start here! A nice arcade bite'n run/fly! If you work more on this idea, might turn into a really fun game to be played! :)

The white text on the title screen, though, was a bit hard to read (mostly because I use full brightness on my monitor :P).

But nice work, really! Cheers!
Sep 13 19:01:00 6m 00s LD33 - Shrimpkin Stomp Hmm...nice jumping mechanic and interesting concept...and it was done in love2d, which is really is a plus! :D Nice work!

It feels more like a prototype gameplay demo, or some kind of atari-ish game, because of the simple graphics. :P

Missing some sounds here, though, and a stage wall, to prevent the player from exiting the stage.
Sep 13 19:10:00 9m 00s Capture the mask The game is simple, and with more work can become a really nice "tag" type of game. :P I just imagined some kind of park/neighbourhood levels where you have to hide/run.

Even though it's still like this, the game gives a lot of room for thinking and improving, which is quite a good thing, so nice idea! :)

I hope you will keep working on this game and add more variety to the gameplay!

Cheers! :D
Sep 13 19:14:00 4m 00s The Jester's Revenge - Part 1 Hm...didn't feel like a "game", more like a "toy" or a concept for a game. You got a really nice mood with graphics and audio, though. :)

The item info sound volume is a bit low, so I had to take some time to fully understand what's said.

With some more work, this could turn into some click'n point mystery with nice disturbing elements, with a Jester on it! :P

Cheers!
Sep 13 19:24:00 10m 00s The Golden String Hmm...nice! Remided me a bit of a game called Hunter Hunted, thanks to the main character. I could almost hear "objective satisfied, [name] wins!" in my head.

Nice concept to work on, so keep up! :D You can do some nice procedural labyrinths this way! :3
Sep 13 19:45:00 21m 00s HanniBall The real "Hanniball", huh? :P Nice little game! Is the terrain made up of voxels, or generated randomly? Nice! :)

The music isn't that annoying, it's quite fun and calming actually. The only thing I had problems was the collision bug and the sfx when this happened. :P
Sep 13 20:08:00 23m 00s Consume Spooky and nice! The shader and the glitches, the audio, it all gives a nice atmosphere and sets up a really nice mood for the game! :)

The controls feel a bit slow, though. But nice entry! :D
Sep 13 20:20:00 12m 00s Mission Nice work on graphics, the voice/sfx are really nice and make the game fun! :) It reminds me a bit of Pikmin. :)

The way you used your voice was really well done, and the explanations/objectives are clear and really easy to understand! :3

I had some glitches with the aliens' feet and once, when I tried to board the ship, but nothing serious.

Good Work! Cheers! :D
Sep 13 20:28:00 8m 00s Yeti Scent Nice work! The old school graphics are really nicely done! It totally feels like a game I'd be playing in the 90's, nice sound fx!

The controls are really responsive!

I had to look a bit too much for the dating sim part, though! :P

Good Work, Cheers! ;)
Sep 13 20:37:00 9m 00s Out West Whoa! Nice work on the story and branching, really well done! :) It's really nice that the story envelopes in a pretty good way too!

Nice pixel art too, really! Even though is just static images, it really helps set a nice mood!

Good Work! :3
Sep 14 01:08:00 4h 31m Sucker Punch Nice game! The pixelated graphics look beautiful and the game is really lots of fun to play, though "something else" would be needed in a full version (maybe independent control of tentacles? :P).

It even has its own online leaderboard and that's a nice feat for the game! :D

Nice choice for OST, btw! ;)
Sep 14 01:17:00 9m 00s Monster Garten Nice! B&W/Grayscale games are always nice to see, it's got some nice monster charm here! :D

Even though it doesn't have audio, it's got a nice mood, thanks to the art style, mainly.

Controls also work nicely and the gameplay feels pretty solid.

Also, +1 because you can burn the trees. :P
Sep 14 01:23:00 6m 00s Darklord I feel this game need a bit of polish on the AI side, the concept behind the game is really good, it's a nice kind of tower defense style game. :P

Graphics-wise, I wouldn't change much. The minimalistic approach is kind of nice, and the camera projection also feels nice for this kind of game. :)

Nice OST, btw. ;)
Sep 14 01:31:00 8m 00s Evasion Master The concept for this game is pretty nice! Though I felt a bit more of a "escaping from the office" feeling than a monster game, maybe because of the similarities between enemies and player. :P

You also set up a really nice mood by using a dark environment, though a little bit of brightness would help me enjoy the game a bit more.

Though, taking into consideration that this is your first game, whoa, it's amazing! :D My first jam game ever was crappy and way more simple than this, and you even got a procedural level generator, which is a nice feat!

Keep up the good work! :)
Sep 14 01:42:00 11m 00s The Monster I Am Looks like a mix of "rampage" and some 80's arcade games, it's simple and fun, even though you said it's more like a rough sketch. It took me a while to realize the fire causing damage though. XD

The procedurally generated buildings add a nice touch to the game too.

I'd like to see this game on an arcade cabinet. :P

+1 because of your own engine! It's really nice to see this kind of work! I'm not much of a coder lately (too much time doing PHP at work), so I'm always impressed by custom engines :P.
Sep 14 02:17:00 35m 00s Welcome to Cronenburg Nice idea. :) Reminded a bit of a mix between Katamari and Paperboy 3D, with destruction elements added. It would've been nice if you could've added more destruction elements, but nice work here! :D
Sep 14 02:25:00 8m 00s Monster Sheep Nice work! The graphics are beautiful and the sound effects are also really fitting for the game! :3

It's quite fun to play, and offers quite a nice challenge!
Sep 14 02:38:00 13m 00s This is NOT a scam! Nice concept for a game and really scary monster you chose! :P Nice to "gather" info from some clients, as always! ;)

I came upon a screen where a "Seth" gave some credit info that was denied, then the game stopped, is it this way? :P
Sep 14 02:59:00 21m 00s You are the munchster! Quite a fun game! The concept is pretty fun and the graphics are nicely done! The monster is pretty cute! ;D

Nice work on the soundtrack also, it really fits the game! :3

I'd like to see more of this! Good Work! :D
Sep 14 03:20:00 21m 00s Dragon Tax Return Simulator 2015 My brain just exploded from gathering the documents to open my own company in real life, this one is nuts! And really well done! :P

It's just as complex as tax forms here in Brazil. I would've needed at least 2 days to gather courage to make this game, and I'd never be able to think about doing this. So that's some nice work you've done! :3

A dragon might be a monster, but taxes are really an even bigger monster! :P
Sep 14 03:30:00 10m 00s The Vacuum of Space Oh, nice arcade game! :D

Graphics look like something in between the Atari and NES, and it plays really nicely, the mechanics are really interesting.

Nice work on the soundtrack too!

Are the city names dynamically generated?
Sep 14 03:50:00 20m 00s Scary Square I don't know if it has bugged on my machine, but the game didn't run 100% here. When I first started, a really loud noise came and I just jumped off my chair! :P

I couldn't understand much of the game from the description and by playing. The controls work nicely and all, but the visuals don't help tell much about the game.
Sep 14 03:57:00 7m 00s Do not burn me You've done it and You should be proud because you did it! ;) Lots of people throw the towel early, so you're already a winner here.

The concept behind the game is quite nice and simple, but fun to play. A full implementation of this game could bring more materials with different flammability, more stages and other nice improvements.

You already got some nice prototype gameplay here, so don't stop! ;)

Good Work and cheers! :D
Sep 14 04:05:00 8m 00s Super Useless Knight Nice idea, and nice work with love2d, really! :D
Sep 14 09:50:00 5h 45m Micromancer Nice! The game is well made and it totally felt like a 16-bit console game, because of both graphics and sound.

Good work on the pixel art here, on tilesets, characters, objects and all other sprites, it's all nicely made. Soundtrack and SFX wise, it's also really good, the music fits perfectly into the game, and that Altered Beast line. :P

Controls are simple to use and also fitting for the gameplay, +1 for the ability to recall your minions. Also, nice to think about the shotgun dude as having a somehow limited respawn. :P
Sep 14 10:27:00 37m 00s Bikini Software The game needs the RPG Maker VX Ace RTP, which isn't a good thing while distributing your game, package it with all the dependencies, so players won't have problems with it, ok?

I had to have VX Ace opened to properly run the game, but I could run it, so I'll say my opinion on what I could play.

Graphics are pretty much RPG Maker stock, so I'm not going to comment on it. It's nice you did a humorous voice-over with some meta-talk, the soundtrack is nice also.

The game, though, has an over simplistic mechanic that starts to drag a bit too much after some time. Just by clicking enter to level up both states of the main character is a bit much to do, even more for the monster state of the game.

After some time the game gets a bit tiring, so try to cut down some things, since this is a Jam game and most people won't want to play a game that drags a bit much, ok?;)
Sep 14 10:49:00 22m 00s Town Crawl Nice work on the graphics here! The flat shaded polys with some texture on walls and main character give it a 90's 3D game look that's pretty good.

It lacks a bit on the level, though. Is it just three rooms and a corridor? :P

Controls are simple and work quite nicely, but the fixed camera angle may cause trouble when objects are closer to the bottom of the screen. :P
Sep 14 10:58:00 9m 00s You Are The Virus Nice idea, though I feel it miss some scoring and refinement on the gameplay. Without scoring and just flowing like this, the game looks a bit like an interactive screen saver. :P

I'd keep the simple graphics because it fits nicely with your take on the theme, some sounds could be nice also. ;)
Sep 14 11:02:00 4m 00s Constrained A survival asteroids style of game? :P I can't see much of the theme here, but I can see a nice and fun retro arcade game! :3
Sep 14 11:18:00 16m 00s A World in Venom Procedurally generated worlds are always a nice thing to see, and the flat shaded polys are also nice to!

The concept is nice, but I think needs a bit of refinement, mainly on player speed, the game feels a bit slow due to the game style (camera angle/distance/player movement).

But Good Work here! :D
Sep 14 18:33:00 7h 15m Famous Nessie The visuals are pretty, and Nessie is pretty cute in this game! :3

The idea behind the game is also quite nice, it's like a "kid-friendly" stealth game. :P
Sep 14 18:37:00 4m 00s Don't Touch The Shredder, Jim. Nice little point'n click game! And pretty humorous too. :P I burst laughing when Jim finally touched the shredder. XD

Nice work on the illustrations and audio too, it's really well made! :3 The only bad point is being too short. :P
Sep 14 18:46:00 9m 00s Melda: The misunderstood Quite a fun game, there are some bugs on collisions (bullets), but it's fun to play.

The graphics, done in Inkscape, are really nice, though there's a small "bleed" in the hunter's walking animation (probably wasn't aligned when exported).

Nice attention to the details on your "rank" when killing 0 and more monsters, adds a nice touch of humor to the game. :3

Missing some audio, but has a potential to be something like a twin-stick shooter mixed with Zelda. :P
Sep 14 18:58:00 12m 00s The Last Witch Nice one! The game style/concept is pretty interesting with this magic circle and co-op nature (but I played alone in here T_T).

I felt the need for a written tutorial, together with the images, but that's ok. :)

The music feels a little bit upbeat for the genre, but if you put in mind that this game is action oriented, it really helps set up a nice mood.

Also, nice work on the graphics on level, characters and items/objects, it's really well done and looks like, with more work, levels and more time to put some refinements, I can totally see this as a pretty fun arcade game for release! :D

Nice work! :3
Sep 14 19:29:00 31m 00s You are a monster Nice nice! The art style, animations and variety of mobs is always a plus, sound fx were also well chosen! :D

Instead of just "eating", it could be nice if you had more game mechanics, like "eat, but not much, so you can turn'em into a zombie army", or something like that.

The isometric camera, in Unity always has that strange effect when a building/wall is close to the window border, so I'd recommend some adjustments with camera and stuff.

Overall, nice idea! :3
Sep 14 19:35:00 6m 00s Slime Hunter It's a nice little game, but I feel it needs some refinement. Some games are nice with those pre 8-bit style graphics, but this game would feel better with a bit more detailed sprites.

Using your voice to do the FX is good, but try to add some variety on it, because it tends to become a bit dull after a while, ok? ;)

But it feels complete, has an objective, you have some nice presentation, so keep up! :D Cheers!
Sep 14 19:59:00 24m 00s Chicken Girl in Toyhouse! It's a nice game, and you have a nice concept for it. But, as people have been saying: collision problems make the game unplayable sometimes and I had that problem where I had to open the Task Manager to close the runtime.

The graphics are pretty cute and, together with the soundtrack, it gives that feeling of an old Sega Genesis game.

With more work you could turn this into a nice tribute to 16-bit games. You already have some base plot that fits the style, so it's got potential. :D

Cheers! :)
Sep 14 20:30:00 31m 00s SLIME CHRONICLE - "Wait, I get to be the hero!?" This is great! I spent some time battling and purchasing upgrades/potions/friends here! :P

Nice work on the graphics, the pixel art is really well done and the variety is also a really big plus here!

The audio also is fitting for the game and, together with the graphic style (both levels, characters and ui) reminded me of some GBA/NDS/SNES 2d top down games. :P

It would be really a great thing to see a full version of this game! Keep up the good work! ;)
Sep 14 20:38:00 8m 00s Alien Murder Simulator Whoa! Nice mood going there! Gameplay is pretty much solid and this "cocoon and respawn" thing is really awesome! :D

The game felt a bit too short, but you got everything right in her, sir! Are you planning on making a full version of this? :P
Sep 14 20:46:00 8m 00s Death Maze Whoa! Nice splash and title screen! :P

The graphics are nice, but I'd make the maze a bit more colorblind-friendly, you never know when you're gonna have a colorblind player. ;) But it's nice the way you built and designed the maze. :D

Playing the first version I couldn't kill anybody, only on the updated version.

Nice work on SFX and soundtrack also.

It's nicely done for your first time, so keep it up! :D

Cheers!
Sep 14 20:57:00 11m 00s Free Hugs Kraken Oh you Kraken! :3

Everybody loves a Kraken, who wouldn't? As he hugs the boat, we all scream and jump into the water! /o/

Nice graphics and good work on the soundtrack too!
Sep 14 21:01:00 4m 00s Motherflipin' T-Rex! Hahahaha! It's always good to cause destruction and stomp on people, isn't it? :P

Nice work here! I love flat-shaded, so that will always have a +1 for me! :3 Gotta love those civilians goinh "aaaaah!" as they die! >:D

I can see this as a really fun and entertaining arcade game. :P I'd totally play this on an arcade also! XD
Sep 14 23:45:00 2h 44m R-ADIUS You Monster! XD This game is so much fun! I spent some nice time playing it here and forgot about work to do. :P

Really dig the graphics, the soundtrack, controls, everything! That's some great work you've done for the Jam! :P +1 for the upgrade system! :3

The only bad thing is that is short, but it's a damn good game, sir! :D
Sep 14 23:57:00 12m 00s Rude Bear Realms Whoa, this is some massive game idea here. A bit unrefined, I'd say, mostly because 3 days for such a game wouldn't be enough, but this is one really interesting game. :D

The graphics are nicely done and are what caught me for this game, but that's some nice work on the audio too! It helps set up the mood in a pretty convincing way. :)

The mechanics, though, are a bit complex for a jam game, I think. Sometimes it feels a bit unbalanced, but still an amazing work you've done, sir! The fear system and the spy system are really a great idea, I think. :D

I'm gonna keep playing it more, and then play the others in the Rude Bear series! ;)

Cheers! :D
Sep 15 00:05:00 8m 00s Monster Loop This game is, certainly, not for the PC, since it's quite unstable on Windows. :/ But you've got some nice concept for a simple game.

In a certain way, because of the swiping and stuff, reminded me a bit of some of Monsters Ate My Condo style of gameplay. :P

The 8-bit graphics and "chipstep" soundtrack are also a charm for the game. :)

I do think, though, that the game is quite confusing at first, since you need the description of the game to fully understand the gameplay.

Nevertheless, this is quite a fun game, once you get the hangs of it. :)

Cheers!
Sep 15 00:27:00 22m 00s Soup This is really cool! The blob graphics are really nice!

Even though it doesn't fit much into the theme, it's a nice abstract game. I didn't read much of the description, so it was quite some fun to discover how the game worked and all.

It gave me that "eureka!" moment only games like this can give the player. Good work! ;)
Sep 15 00:45:00 18m 00s A Bad Wolf King is Hard to Feed Nice! The game is quite relaxing and challenging too!

I really dig the voxels and the simple design, by just using cubes to represent the characters, animals, etc. The way the world is rendered/presented is really nice too! It felt, somehow, like something in between Animal Crossing and Sonic Xtreme for this wide-angle/globe camera thing. :P

The soundtrack is really something in the game, it's relaxing and soothing, while the SFX don't interfere too much with it, so it creates a nice experience. :3

I struggled a bit with the controls, though, but nothing much, it was a pleasure to play! I had a bit of trouble, also, reaching high places, but it was a nice challenge to do it. :D

The story is also a good one and offers a lot of possibilities for challenges and expansion. I can see it, also, as a children's story book, don't know why, but it just felt like some books and stories I read when younger. :P

Good Work! :3
