| Aug 25 04:43:00 | Nhelee | There are some tricky jumps that drove me nuts. Nice platformer anyhow. Nice work. | |
| Aug 25 04:48:00 | 5m 00s | Last Call For Magrathea | While the idea is straight-forward, I find myself constantly on thin ice trying to ship the goods rapidly. I haven't gotten to know how each world works and if I could do something with them. Nice voice work by the way! |
| Aug 26 04:02:00 | 23h 14m | Transcendence of the Human Spirit | When your instructions said to use A or Y, I believe you were referring to the Xbox game pad buttons, not the keyboard keys. That threw me off. I really enjoy how there's an imaginative world with a freaky Kirby look-a-like with a real world. The interaction of the two words is fantastic! <br/> <br/>I actually got 11 out of 10 gold orbs, so I must have done extra well! :) |
| Aug 26 04:22:00 | 20m 00s | Dreamshift | Lots of ominousness, specially when stressed. Definitely adds points to mood. Although, with the game's slight difficulty, there should be a checkpoint at round 2. I get stressed to restart the entire game again. :( <br/>Also, SHIFT key for jump isn't friendly on a Windows computer due to the "Sticky Key" feature. Just to let you know. Very nice game overall! Now, I must sleep...zzz |
| Aug 26 04:39:00 | 17m 00s | BOLYGOK | What version of Java do I need? |
| Aug 26 06:32:00 | 1h 53m | Color Wheel | This game definitely reminds me of "Castle of the Winds." It was difficult at first, but, after a few tries, I've won! Nice work with the retro graphics. |
| Aug 26 06:52:00 | 20m 00s | InterDimensional | Having the rooms to shuffle does have some advantages to confuse your enemies. Just make sure you tell them not to hit ENTER! Would have been nice to restart the game when the battle is over; even when I die by my own weapons. |
| Aug 26 07:03:00 | 11m 00s | Naboka Between Worlds! | Easy game and just to the point. Correlating two different worlds adds a nice touch, but I wish there was more. <br/>At the part with the first moveable block, I went left of the tower instead of right and I couldn't re-enter the portal. I got stuck and have to restart the game. Just something to point out. |
| Aug 26 07:48:00 | 45m 00s | Overlap | I think there's a bug in level 7. I got the key, but it won't unlock the door. |
| Aug 26 08:14:00 | 26m 00s | Hexahedron | I don't see how I could connect with other worlds. How does that work? |
| Aug 26 08:24:00 | 10m 00s | Coplanarity | It's a nice start. You got the game playable and got the functions running well. If it wasn't pointed out already, the level designs needs to be carefully made so the teleporters or you won't get stuck in the blocks. Just a word of advice. :) |
| Aug 26 08:38:00 | 14m 00s | Fire & Ice | First part is a race to collect the most power, and the second part is tag where the loser is the tagger. It's an interesting mix. The title screen sort of got me confused on how to start the game as I thought I have to click the start button. I actually have to get the two sprites touching the play button. |
| Aug 28 03:38:00 | 43h 00m | Phil and Charlie's Adventure | Glad you got this game working. It's short though, unless someone wouldn't notice the loop, heh! |
| Aug 28 03:56:00 | 18m 00s | Red Universe | I find the bullets and background to move too fast that I can't focus on the bullets themselves. Dodging them is hell, pun intended. I really like the boss where you have to break through. |
| Aug 28 05:12:00 | 1h 16m | A Tale of Two Megacities | Playing the two parts concerns me. If you lose at the second part, will you restart the entire game? Granted I have finished the game, but I would have been devastated if I were to go back to part 1 after playing one part for a while. Just a word of caution. <br/>Interesting Sim City parody with extras. |
| Aug 28 05:30:00 | 18m 00s | Connecting LD30 to the Real World | Very interesting! Doesn't work on Firefox, but it's working on IE. |
| Aug 28 06:21:00 | 51m 00s | DOX30 | The controls are a little stiff, much like NES games. I got used to it, but the jumping is too low to get on the first platform. That is until I switched dimensions to get through and then on it. The more appropriate way to get on a platform is by jumping over and on it instead. <br/> <br/>It's a decent game with a decent idea, just it needs some work. |
| Aug 30 06:07:00 | 47h 46m | Reminisce | I got an error saying it's missing MSVCR120.DLL. Fortunately, I got the file online and placed it next to the EXE and it runs perfectly. <br/> <br/>There should be a better checkpoint where I can easily restart. While it's nice to continue where I had last entered a portal, a false move after I entered a portal would be memorized. Thus, having me to restart the entire game. I like to suggest a simple check point where I can safely fall back to when I mess things up. <br/> <br/>The game is cleverly done. Nice work! |
| Aug 30 06:15:00 | 8m 00s | Connected Cultures | This game is smooth and well-structured. Although the fetch quests got a bit tedious, there were only a handful and I got through them okay. Hope there will be more to it if you decide to build more into it. :) |
| Aug 30 06:19:00 | 4m 00s | RGB | I really like the presentation. Simple colours, big pixels, and a single-screened action. Reminds me of any old computer games! <br/>Very nicely done! |
| Aug 30 06:29:00 | 10m 00s | Starlight | Love hearing the planets banter! |
| Aug 30 06:38:00 | 9m 00s | Five Floors, Two Worlds | There's a little learning curve for how the switches work: bed locks in or out, green can only hold when you're on it. <br/>Otherwise, very nice puzzler! |
| Aug 30 07:18:00 | 40m 00s | Super Alien Bro | Nice game, but the part with the rave candy just got in my nerves. I didn't rage quit, but I almost did. Playing long levels without dying is just mean, especially how beautiful this game is just adds irony. It's a beautiful game, but it's misleading due to it's difficult play. I'm okay with hard games, but only when I'm in a good mood. |
| Aug 31 03:49:00 | 20h 31m | Bullets, Enemies, Portals | It's funny how I got two same kinds of enemies at the top screen, one that I can get rid of and the other that I can't. A silly double-standard I would say. Nice work! |
| Aug 31 03:57:00 | 8m 00s | AstroReception | I really like the Lunar Lander + mining idea. Hope you'll address the map issue when you continue developing. I find myself hitting things when I go to a different screen. |
| Aug 31 04:51:00 | 54m 00s | The Maze Of Worlds | Bacon teleporter. That's good :) Nice work with your first LD entry. |
| Aug 31 05:08:00 | 17m 00s | Portal DAGger | It's a nice puzzler, but I got lost after taking the green or red portals. I like how the switches remain intact even when you go back to start. (I assume that's what the red portal does.) Killer music btw! |
| Aug 31 05:41:00 | 33m 00s | Timehop | The logic of the past and future took some getting used to, but I was able to finish the game with little effort. So there's a slight learning curve, but the game itself was well put! |
| Aug 31 09:01:00 | 3h 20m | Torn Between Worlds | Nice idea. I do wish the controlling more loose because I get myself caught by the walls even by a few pixels. So precision is what kept on killing me, and I did died a lot. Nice start on your game through! |
| Aug 31 09:21:00 | 20m 00s | Phase Shift | Interesting concept, but it mainly relies on luck. Sometimes you can clear a round with no problem, but the majority of times have rounds that felt impossible to clear. The dimension changing bit is pretty cool, but there needs to be some way to generate the levels accordingly. <br/> <br/>FYI, it's rather unfriendly to have no way to readjust the game's window resolution, especially since it's quite higher than average. Be courteous, even for those from the 90s! |
| Aug 31 09:37:00 | 16m 00s | The Two-Dimensional Universe | The different kinds of gravitation makes this game very enjoyable! The art and music are both great. Good job! <br/>One suggestion: when the gravity is reversed, the left/right control should not be reversed too. <br/>Since it's already mentioned but I'll say it anyhow: I don't like trying to land on a single block as the ball moves too fast. |
| Sep 2 05:49:00 | 44h 12m | Split Worlds | Wow, what a chore to download every file. Sorry, but I refuse to do that. If you want me to try your game, please put them all in a zip file and put the link to this page. Thank you. |
| Sep 2 06:09:00 | 20m 00s | Gravity | This is an interesting game. I didn't get the rules of the game at first but I know now. It isn't much of a challenge as I can move off the top of the screen. Okay, might have "some" challenge there, heh. <br/>Nice concept after you get the idea on how to play the game. |
| Sep 2 06:17:00 | 8m 00s | Dependant | The game you've linked does not look like the one shown in your screenshots. I'm just getting a labyrinth full of zombies. |
| Sep 2 06:43:00 | 26m 00s | Jessie and Jack | I do believe the shell casings are the culprit for slowing the game down. I have a well-powered computer, but I'm afraid this game lags a bit when there are too many casings. <br/>Very fun game otherwise. Wish there were opportunities to replenish your health. The entire presentation makes me feel like I was playing an old DOS computer game. <br/> <br/>As for those annoying brown enemies, they look like scorpions to me. :) |
| Sep 2 06:55:00 | 12m 00s | Dreamless | The actions took me a try to get the idea on what each type does. A little trial and error, but nothing too concerning. <br/>Is there a way I could remove the actions I have just placed? |
| Sep 2 07:11:00 | 16m 00s | Stop Waves | It's nice to upgrade your attributes, the game is rather slow-paced. There's a glitch that the number of enemies remain unchanged when you lose later on; which poses a risk to not complete a wave entirely. <br/>Nice work btw, but it needs more love and fixes. |
| Sep 2 07:32:00 | 21m 00s | Wormings | One nice suggestion: instead of clicking, I would like to hold the mouse button down to switch blocks. <br/>Another suggestion: a pause time before the worms enter the level. This is to allow me to observe the level and plan what I need to do. <br/>Very nice game, but I do hope you can fix the collision engine. |
| Sep 2 07:38:00 | 6m 00s | More Than a Glitch | Just wanna point something out: it seems pointless to have a life system when I can simply hit R to restart the level. <br/> <br/>I only played to level 3 because that level is too hard for me. It's a good start with the concept. Keep it up! |
| Sep 2 07:59:00 | 21m 00s | A Broken Mess | Good work! Glad you got the installer out. |
| Sep 2 08:09:00 | 10m 00s | Split//Maze | Fun game! One suggestion to add: I like to see the green "coins" and the exit stand out more so I can see them in my peripheral vision. |
| Sep 8 16:40:00 | 152h 31m | Dreamland | I couldn't get the rules of the game after trying a few times. After about like 10 attempts, I realized the concept. The "dreamland" is a bare field with tree seeds planted. Use parasols to cover areas to prevent tree growth, but the "dreamland's" field is at a different point of view. It's hard to explain the rules in words, so I would suggest a few tutorial levels so the player can get a better understanding by trying than words alone. <br/>It's a clever puzzler, but I feel the life system isn't ideal to have. I can easily come back to where I've left off as the solution to previous levels remain intact. |
| Sep 8 18:13:00 | 1h 33m | Two Worlds | Second level got very tough. Beaten it. Thankfully there's only two levels because I was afraid how hard the third round is! I enjoyed the concept, although, instead of losing when I'm too far from the other world, the other world would follow my world -- like an unbreakable rubber band at its maximum stretch. <br/> <br/>I got an error saying I'm missing file MSVCP120.dll, so I've downloaded the file and added it next to the game and the game was running fine. |
| Sep 8 18:32:00 | 19m 00s | The MillionWood | When I got to 5 screens, I had to call it quits because it was too disorienting for me. Hearing that there at 6 screens maximum, I would have been killed. Good game, but too challenging for me. |
| Sep 8 18:53:00 | 21m 00s | Prismatic | You should make the statues, that gather players, become checkpoints too. This is to make it far less tedious to go back to where you've died or restarted. <br/>Great colorful twist to controlling multiple players in the same world. |
| Sep 8 19:28:00 | 35m 00s | Tinker Maze | Rotating pieces is a neat element to the game. But, it would have been better to hit ENTER to rotate pieces instead of holding ENTER down. The collision detection is a little spotty, but a neat game overall. |
| Sep 8 21:18:00 | 1h 50m | Hx2p | Two worlds with different physics is such a great idea. Keep up the good work! <br/> <br/>One concern: I still get hurt by enemies shooting at the door when I'm opening the door. It's not a major problem, just it's something to point out. |
| Sep 8 21:31:00 | 13m 00s | Planetary Replan | I couldn't get another player, but I like the concept. I sort of got the idea for how the game is played, but I need to keep trying it and learn. Pretty nice work you got there. |
| Sep 9 02:09:00 | 4h 38m | Connected Worlds Airlines | I had fun playing this game. Very good work! |
| Sep 9 02:27:00 | 18m 00s | wrldDIVISION | This is a strange game, but not a bad thing at all! Although I do myself annoyed with objects obstructing the view of the ball. The physics is not perfect as the ball kept getting stuck when reaching up slopes. Maybe I need to build speed to reach up those slopes? Very nice game overall! |
| Sep 9 18:21:00 | 15h 54m | DigMine QuickFast | Fun little game, but I don't see how it fits the theme regardless of the little explanation at the end. I find the challenge actually decreases as you move on to the next worlds probably because the money carries over. I was hoping for more obstacles like lava, rocks, or something that'll hurt me or block my way. Very nice game overall though! |
| Sep 9 18:34:00 | 13m 00s | A Galaxy United | There seem to be only 6 playable worlds. The 7th one, represented by the gradient red to green bar, throws an error. <br/>It's a nice idea, but the controls need to be more friendly. I don't like pressing both W and space to jump. :( Hopefully you can fix the bugs later on if you keep working on it. Nice work overall! |
| Sep 9 18:40:00 | 6m 00s | Rubber Slimes | Definitely hard. Those damn dead ends are an instant killer. I could only play it when I'm in a good mood, heh. |
| Sep 9 18:48:00 | 8m 00s | Intersection | It's kind of a drag to start from the beginning when you die. It has some nice puzzling elements with the help of the purple portal gimmick. |
| Sep 9 18:57:00 | 9m 00s | Marble Run | I'm glad the physics are tolerable unlike those real marble labyrinth toys. Those buggers are such a pain to control. I'm glad this game is well executed. |
| Sep 10 03:10:00 | 8h 13m | Quest of Untitled | I actually enjoy the graphics. Just so tiny and detailed! I like how one gets the friendly dialogue but one got the lousy dialogue. |
| Sep 10 03:32:00 | 22m 00s | Eiradirian Phasejumpers | I could only get through the first stage. The combat is easy to understand, but difficult to win. Some weapons I couldn't understand how they work or how much damage it does. I guess it's trial and error. Nice work overall. |
| Sep 10 03:39:00 | 7m 00s | The Lair of Maldar | Very smooth game play. It's a shame you couldn't complete it in full. Nice work anyhow! |
| Sep 10 03:54:00 | 15m 00s | Interstice | I found a strategy for winning the game: get crystal at lower left, then right, then upper right. Yay, win. :) <br/> <br/>Great work with the enemy AI. The controls really needs fixing though. I feel like I'm on a sticky floor, and the jumping is a bit delayed. |
| Sep 10 04:01:00 | 7m 00s | Transfer | Did you use Famitracker for the chip-tune? Cause that's an awesome tune you've made! <br/>I don't know if there's a way to restart a level. I've got trapped a couple of times and I had to refresh the browser to restart. Very solid game! |
| Sep 10 04:05:00 | 4m 00s | split world | This is a nice idea for a puzzler. It does need more objects to keep the game fresh. Good work! |
| Sep 10 04:10:00 | 5m 00s | Connected Words | Lol, nice way to turn Twitter into a game! <br/>"Connected Words"... I got it. :) |
| Sep 10 04:20:00 | 10m 00s | Distant Worlds | Very nice job with the graphics and character design! |
| Sep 11 01:15:00 | 20h 55m | CtrlShift | It has the ingredients for a great game! It's rather irritating to restart the entire round when I screw up, not to mention a tad difficult. <br/>I can't understand why the game is over 200MB. Do you have many sound files embedded? |
| Sep 11 01:22:00 | 7m 00s | Go for the bread | Lol. So bizarre to go through life and death for a piece of bread! The levels need to be carefully designed so I won't get stuck or killed instantly. (I never thought I would lose.) <br/>The character reminds me of Alvin from "Alvin and the Chipmunks", especially with a bit of yellow on solid red. |
| Sep 11 01:38:00 | 16m 00s | Shifting | There were a few occasions where I've gotten stuck from entering a cluster of portals. The portals were interesting and how they shift from one world to another. |
| Sep 11 01:55:00 | 17m 00s | Connected Retro Worlds | It's pretty easy to get pinned to the side of the screen when I'm not too careful, heheh. |
| Sep 11 01:56:00 | 1m 00s | Beaver CO-OP | I'm afraid the link is dead. I cannot download. |
| Sep 11 02:02:00 | 6m 00s | Your world! | It gets pretty frantic! Very fun. <br/>Great job with the controls! I can just hold the mouse button down instead of constantly clicking on each button to summon a guy. |
| Sep 11 02:13:00 | 11m 00s | Dance Dance Invasion | Time to party! |
| Sep 11 02:28:00 | 15m 00s | To The Spirits | I thought I've gotten the idea on how to play from the first pipe minigame, but I couldn't get passed the second minigame. <br/>Congrats on your first entry! |
| Sep 11 02:35:00 | 7m 00s | SPIRITS! | I only got a black screen. Do I need a certain version of Java? |
| Sep 11 02:44:00 | 9m 00s | Dark Planet | I didn't bother killing enemies, I just ran like a wimp heh. <br/>Until my second go, I didn't realized you can actually skip each room by going off the screen. Not to feel too bad because, again, I only found out on my second attempt. |
| Sep 11 03:02:00 | 18m 00s | Milkyway Tycoon | I gave this game about 10 minutes of play. Pretty solid entry! Very casual, but it does require some learning. |
| Sep 11 03:09:00 | 7m 00s | Twin star | The controls are a little slippery and sometimes unresponsive. I got some used to it, but I had some fun with a spacy version of dodge ball with circumnavigation. |
| Sep 11 03:22:00 | 13m 00s | The Thing Between Two Worlds | Short and sweet and to my liking. :) <br/>I was a bit confused on what to do at the boss as just killing the big blue thing doesn't end the fight. <br/>However, I did win it. |
| Sep 12 01:30:00 | 22h 08m | Down Under | The game didn't crash for me, rather the music went mute. <br/>Neat take on SimCity. <br/>I've stopped getting help after I got to where I can add stone quarries, coal mines, and such. I quit after I got the privilege to add water turbines, but there's no way to add them on the map. (Was that a glitch?) |
| Sep 12 01:38:00 | 8m 00s | Planet rescue | Difficult, but not too difficult. Managed to clear the castle though, yeah! |
| Sep 12 02:08:00 | 30m 00s | Hello, Alien! | Level 16, lol, boom! The sound effects are hilarious too! <br/> <br/>I do wish I could control the mirrors better. I find rotating them precisely rather frustrating because when I click on them to rotate, they would often rotate a good amount on their own. |
| Sep 12 02:19:00 | 11m 00s | Paralella | I didn't realize I could change views until I played this the second time. I'm not sure if there is a goal, or a win. I see the numbers at the top left, but they do not change. <br/>It's an interesting game -- a good one I may add, but I need some sort of sign of progress if there is an objective to win the game. Love the music! |
| Sep 12 03:07:00 | 48m 00s | Robot Smuggler | I couldn't play it for so long as it became tedious to go back and forth. I've only made it to my second trip to the desert town, but that is where I quit. The conversations are funny btw, so the game has points for humor. |
| Sep 13 02:36:00 | 23h 29m | JUMP! | The download link is broken. |
| Sep 13 03:15:00 | 39m 00s | Mushroom connects | Nice maze. The part with the multiple portals are a bit agonizing, but it wasn't too punishing thankfully. |
| Sep 13 03:19:00 | 4m 00s | Clone | Is there a way to download all the files in Google Drive instead of downloading each one individually? Because I refuse to download each file because I don't have much time on my hands. I hope you can ZIP them up into a .ZIP file, especially for all the necessary Windows files. |
| Sep 13 03:26:00 | 7m 00s | Connected Worlds: Planetary Conflict | I find the purple planet the worst planet to play as because on how it moves differently than the other two planets. Plus, the rotation doesn't aim at the planets that often than the other planets. <br/>Overall, while I like the idea, I felt this game relies too much on luck. |
| Sep 13 03:37:00 | 11m 00s | PitBall | I didn't realize you could press UP when you're ascending your jump to get a boost in the air. While that helped me continue on, it's rather awkward to use. <br/>I wish I wasn't so bouncy when touching the walls; that bothers me. :( There's great potential in this game as long as you address the issues mentioned here. Nice work overall! |
| Sep 13 04:07:00 | 30m 00s | Boulevard of Broken Themes | I couldn't pass level 16 where I was told to input a password with the clue "line 1 of 4." My brain went numb after a couple of minutes at that level that I have to quit. <br/>Very fun mix of genres! Also like the music! |
| Sep 13 04:14:00 | 7m 00s | Die in another world | There needs to be a slight pause when the player dies and about to restart the level again. This is so the player has time to let go of any keys and don't end up hitting the spike near the start. |
| Sep 13 04:19:00 | 5m 00s | Crossworld Club | Characters from different worlds... connected by items... fits the theme to me. Nice work on the fetch quest. |
| Sep 13 18:32:00 | 14h 13m | The Twins | It took some time for me to get a handle with the controls. <br/>A lot of coordination involved, but at least there are times where I can both duck and jump simultaneously. I prefer different keys than the one already in the game to get a better sense of control because I often press the wrong key. <br/>Great game overall! |
| Sep 13 18:50:00 | 18m 00s | Conflicting Dimensions | Lovely puzzler! |
| Sep 13 19:08:00 | 18m 00s | Woopsy Deadsy | I find the gravity moving too fast for me to react. There's one room where I needed to switch dimension constantly to pass spikes as I fall. There are also parts in some rooms that are harder than others in those same rooms. I'm not fond with rooms with a hard part at the start and a difficult part at the exit; I find that annoying. <br/> <br/>Going back a room when I lost in the boss room is rather mean, especially when the previous room was difficult to pass. :( <br/> <br/>I still like this game, but there are some unforgiving moments. |
| Sep 13 20:47:00 | 1h 39m | void | Unfortunately, I wasn't able to play this with more players. I like the concept, but I have no idea what the combat is like. <br/> <br/>I had troubles trying to play single player as the instructions weren't too clear on how to build stuff. I know the controls are laid out, but I didn't know building stuff cost ores or power. <br/> <br/>The controls are quite confusing and contra-intuitive. For instance, the right-clicking does a lot more than the left-clicking. I guess this is more designed for left-handers, but setting mouse preferences in-game is always a chore. I'm glad there is a list of controls during the game for my convenience. |
| Sep 13 21:05:00 | 18m 00s | Hermes Express | Funny quest. Sometimes one person or god gives more than one quests. Fun game too. <br/>There is a bug in the Underground where if you use a speed boost and go to the left wall, you'll get stuck. |
| Sep 13 21:23:00 | 18m 00s | 4in1 | The no sound version only worked for me on Windows 8.1. I actually had some fun with this game. :) <br/>I don't see how this fits the theme though. Four mini-games in one game doesn't satisfy the theme. |
| Sep 13 21:42:00 | 19m 00s | Glass Heart Empire | Great graphics. |
| Sep 13 21:59:00 | 17m 00s | Azuroj | I strongly suggest to allow players to customize their controls because the current layout is awkward. Using the same hand for moving and switching colors doesn't feel right. One hand should only control the movement while the other hand controls the colors and the jumps. <br/>The platform physics really coexists with Super Mario Bros, don't cha think? :) |
| Sep 13 22:35:00 | 36m 00s | Two Empires | This game is okay for a beginner. You got it working and running is something you should pat yourself on the back. <br/> <br/>I can't pass the second level because it's really hard to judge where to jump. The yellow thing -- I suppose it's my shield -- blocks my view at the ground. |
