LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Whack a Mole by Tero Pulkkinen 2020-10-05T01:12:22Z

It's an interesting way to sitck with the theme of loops, it feels satisfying to smash those creatures, maybe having a deadline by losing if you miss too many of them would add another layer to the gameplay.

Impressive visuals, you have talent with 3D modeling and texturing, my computer it's a bit old so I couldn“t fully enjoy it. It would've been good to have the controls intructions added in the pause menu or somewhere else. To be a fruit loop it's the must amusing use of the theme I've seen so far

Escape the Loop by magnusfurcifer 2020-10-05T02:10:37Z

Some of the collisions needed to be polished, but I get it, I always have trouble with the colliders in my games. I love the idea of running in a literal loop.

Orbital Defense Cannon by juicy_vegetable 2020-10-05T01:05:30Z

I had 6200 points! I really like these kind of spacial games. I find your game pretty satisfying, the smooth camera shake makes it feel good and the sound effects fit with the game. The power ups make it more interesting, I think that it would be nice to have the power up of multiple bullets to stay permanently by spawning even more asterois, increasing the difficulty a little bit.

Loopy Planet by bigbadollie 2020-10-05T02:26:55Z

I like how it increases the speed of the rotation and the enemies, although it gets a little too hard by the time I had the third ship added. Overall great game.

Nuclear Loop by Gorr 2020-10-05T13:30:51Z

I like the idea of having to keep track of the timing bars in order to keep playing, once you lose, you have an idea of what to do next and thats when the loop theme comes in.

Until All Ends by WilloXs 2020-10-07T18:41:30Z

It is an interesting concept for this jam, a loop of death. As our army advances the enemies start to spawn more and more with even stronger weapons, but so our army, and it is invitable to die and die and die, to the point that you see the gameplay as playing as an army instead of as a single character, that feeling it's well achieved via the mood of this game. The fact that the sprites of death characters stay in the ground scattering their blood leaves a mark on every death, showing the impact and consequences. The narration fits pretty well, I think the audio could've been edited a little bit more, but overall it's nice. I loved playing through this game.

You're A Loop by RIBOUT Horace 2020-10-05T21:25:39Z

The mechanic of moving in circles restricted by their size and the click timing feels trully unique and relaxing combined with the glowy visuals and the calm sound effects. I found myself playing around with it for about 10 minutes, it's very satisfying. I wish there were some goals or gameplay elements to it, but it is interesting by its own

Save Her by Lestat 2020-10-05T17:09:02Z

The art and the sounds are beautiful :3 and the story part from the game feels so interesting, the fact that this game takes you into a time loop adds a layer of fun. My only problems are with the performance, maybe my computer its not that good, second, the camera movement feels a little sensitive, makes it a little hard to look around.

Hypnic Fall by Dakke 2020-10-05T01:23:35Z

The art looks very nice and well polished

GLITCH LOOP by ZakAmana 2020-10-05T14:05:51Z

This is beautiful, from the nice looking glitching effects, the sound, the music, the simple and well looking animations, the gameplay ideas, the polishing of everything. It's just perfect. A must play from this Ludum Dare.

Ex Aeternum by John Gabriel 2020-10-05T16:48:09Z

The art and sounds are the highlighs in this game, I really loved the feeling of exploration and mistery, it has potential for a puzzling game

you are dead by noahw 2020-10-07T00:17:08Z

I like it, the visuals look pretty sweet, the music and the sound effects really help the mood making this relaxing and enjoyable, nice for replay it over and over. Also, the controls feel appropiate for a boat.

Inside the Planet by victor_reiner 2020-10-06T13:13:59Z

Nice and simple, perfect for a mobile game. I love the art style, it's so cute. The tutorial it's a nice addition. The concept of the game it's fun and fits pretty well with the theme of loops. The level design it's another win for this game, everything looks so polished.

Caught in the music loop by merkisoft 2020-10-05T13:13:00Z

It's a nice musical generator, it gets challenging when it comes to place 8 sounds in a round, but its enjoyable

CUB by Loig 2020-10-07T00:11:09Z

It is a nice implementation of the theme, the puzzling part it's challenging and clever, I got stuck in level 8 :c I will keep trying.

Frozen Potency by Eugenik 2020-10-07T18:24:14Z

It's very adictive, I kept playing until I was on number 10 of the world. The visuals and the music are amazing.

Danger Beat by rhoff95 2020-10-05T02:00:25Z

My favorite so far. I dont see the need of a score displayed or a system to restart the level each time you get hit. This game takes it to another level by rewarding the player with awesome generated sounds to resemble a song by lowering the instruments if you get hit.

The Fire Case by GetSky 2020-10-09T02:08:55Z

As you told me, we have the same problem with the controls, it seems like you could've tweaked the gravity value of Nick Furry (an awesome name!) to make it fall faster, but who knows, I'm awfull at game physics. Overall the art looks pretty nice as for the background giving a nice mood to the adventure, the change between layers feels nice.

Loopfield by MikoziQ 2020-10-05T13:25:22Z

A great and simple idea, I kept playing it for quite a long time, this should be a nice mobile game.

The final loop by IndieQuest 2020-10-05T16:57:58Z

The 3d art looks nice and polished, every sound it's pretty rewarding and the controls are simple, but quite satisfying to rotate, they are very precise too. I wish it was more challenging and it had some other types of guns and enemies, like the capability of having more enemy spawner towers each round. Overall great game.

Myself by iDunnyX 2020-10-09T02:00:25Z

It's beautiful, the theme it touches it's so sensitive and well handled, a message of hope for those who are under hard times.
