Wow, what a nice animations and colours and gameplay. I liked that you actually changed the unity starting screen colour, makes it a little bit more polished. 90% of unity games never bother to change the colour. Also the game has multiple levels.

Cool game. Would have liked more time spent on the tuning of the platforming rather than content volume. The jumping/collisions seems to be very finicky and even with the looping mechanic, the primary gameplay is the platforming.
One of my favs so far. The aesthetic is awesome, multiple levels, a clean gameplay concept that fits the theme. Great job!
i like the animations (background, death) and the sound matches very well. to me the players jumps a bit too little in height and it feels very slippery. overall very good, but struggle a bit with your loop story (theme matching) :-)
I like the visual style, but I just couldn't get on with those controls. Some of the sound effects are pretty grating, too.

Simple game with really cool concept to design, especially the robot and it's animations! The controls are quite clunky though and the robot feels more slipping through than walking / running. The level design is cool, however the robot can jump through walls and sometimes do double jump mid-air when it's not supposed to (level 4). Also on level 4, I could go through wall next to the loop ending button, transporting me straight to the bottom right path next to player spawn. I think taking more care into "fluidness" of controls might have been a deal breaker here.

Cool visuals, like the character looping through the side. As other mentioned, abit more polish on the colliders and less content may have been desirable :) But i like it

I like the game graphics. The idea is interesting too. The controls are a bit awkward, but you can get used to it

I really like the minimal art style. Everything read well and hazards were intuitive. Nice level design as well. I had some issues with the controls and collision at times though, and the footstep audio was a little piercing to the ears.
The visual is really really cool and the different effect work well, but the noise of movement of the character is... I cut the sound because of it. The music is not that good, but still work and for just one person, it's still enough (like, I didn't want to cut the sound because I wanted to keep the music for example) For the game itself, the jump is a little weird and hard to predict, and when falling, the character stear away, but the idea and the puzzle behind each levels is pretty cool !

I liked the visual aspect of this game a lot. The physics was a bit odd to me. In particular the jump, I would have expected it to go much higher given the speed of the character. It feels almost as if the character would be stuck by some invisible ceiling.

Nice work! Very polished aesthetics and audio. Love the music and the platforms made of scrolling bytes.
The linear up/down motion of jumping feels really hard to control though- most platformers gradually decrease upwards speed, so you hang at the top a little and can better place your jump.

It looks really cool and the sounds are nice too.
My critics are with the gameplay:
As you said the controls feel clunky. For a tight platformer there should only be a very small accelerate/decelerate time and the jump feels like its hardcoded as "go up for x seconds - then come down again" which i don't like as much as a simple parabel-style jump.
In the sixth level or so the jump button broke. I couldn't jump anymore so gameover for me there xD
As for userfriendliness:
wasd and space is a good choice because almost everybody is familiar with these controls. You then had another button "z" for switching the levers. I feel like this wasn't necessary because you never needed to switch one twice, therefore a simple proximity check would be better (btw. keep in mind that "z" and "y" switch places on european keyboards and can be super hard to reach). And maybe allow to go to the next level with a space press as well, so you dont need to use the mouse after each stage.
For a first platformer (even if clunky) a very stylish and solid entry!

I really liked the game! Original concept and nice graphics! The only two things that were not great for me were controls and sounds were a bit too much but I wouldn't say that it ruined anything for me! I can totally feel your pain about the controls though, we have the same problem with our game - everybody says it's too hard to jump xD Anyways you did a great job, good luck!

Controls were pretty strange. I'm sure, I exploited glitches in some of the levels to circumvent the obstacles. But I don't know for sure.

Jumping is strange, graphics is awesome
I liked the graphics, and level design a lot. The sound for the character walking was a bit annoying, the gravity was a bit weird and a little hard to adjust to for me personally. Also it was hard to tell where I could walk right and come out on the left and where I couldn't do it. I also ran into one bug on the first level where I fell through the floor and had to restart, idk if it's in other levels but could be a big deal for players if they get far and it happens to them. Other than that great game!
Cool graphics! The controls were nice, though the jump felt a bit "short" in a way. The music was nice, but the stepping sound was way to loud :grimacing: All in all a very good game with an impressive amount of levels!
