Lovely game. Loved the art work and the humour!
Great humour. Love the animations. Slight bug where I got stuck inside a tree though!
Awesome. First time I've played a PICO-8 game. Love the art style and the concept is something different. To anyone playing, just make sure you play it on something other than super easy to see the real game!
A really enjoyable experience. Got a little sad at the end :(
Would have liked some measure of how well I had done, like distance travelled or time survived. A fun little game though and thevery hands on naure (dragging rather than just clicking) kept me engaged.
@gonzako Good idea. I've updated the itch.io page with a WebGL version.
@laurari hah, I saw your ship and thought that looks familiar (love Kenney's stuff)! It's great how we can have similar ideas, yet they play so differently. Games are great!
@shubh thanks, any suggestions?
@fadoli03 ahh yeah. There appears to be a rare edge case where that can happen. I’ll have another look at the wrapping code.
A cool take on the theme. Stick people dancing were cute. Nice progression of mechanics.
A nice take on the theme. I liked the intro animation, it's not often you see those on jam games so it's cool to see. I like the particle effects, especailly when you explode! As noted above, it is a little hard to play, so could be more forgiving.
Art style and atmosphere are both excellent. Would have benefitted from a tutorial though for those who don't play a lot of RTS'
A cool concept. I like the idea of balancing 'eating' the asteroids but also keeping the earth in a safe orbit. A little tough though due to the speed of the asteroids. Maybe slow them down early on.
Great visuals. Good concept. Would have preferred controls based around WASD rather than arrow keys. Ability to drop items is needed as currently it gets filled with batteries so you can't pick up anything else.
A great take on the theme. I had a lot of fun trying to figure out how to get them to the end. Camera movement is a little finicky, but overall a great little game!
Easy to understand what is required and how to play. A little too easy though as you quickly get so much money that you can't really lose. Some different plant types that take longer for bigger reqards would also add more strategy.
Good feedback on the guns, they were fun to use. I was a little unsure what the gamw was about at first because I had my audio off. I'd recommend subtitles for accessiblity, especially for something like the tutorial.
Very atmospheric. Really polished. Spider animation was really cool, I'm guesing procedural? Would have liked to see some more game play content before the spider.
