Can you make a webGL build?

lee-beever 2020-04-20 20:30

@gonzako Good idea. I've updated the itch.io page with a WebGL version.

this is great!

norboy 2020-04-21 16:06

Liked the idea, its like a slower variation of asteroid with a twist. I find controlling the ship somewhat hard but Its probably due to me not being used to this type of control making the game a tad bit on the harder side since manueverability is very important in the game.

rodi 2020-04-21 16:16

I love your game ! The controls are great ! for me it's bit hard to not shoot the planet so i killed more people than the asteroids xD

Feel Free to test my game ! ;)

runrajrun 2020-04-21 16:27

I like how the player is given the sort of choice of do I drop the evacues off first or do I fight off all of the aestroids. It was really, really fun. Top work! :)

blackquiltro 2020-04-21 17:57

Very fun, i like physic based space ships jeje. Good presentation and mood.

laurari 2020-04-22 17:41

I love the game! We have some similarities hehehe We struggled with the infinite movement so we've decided to use S to stop the ship, but I like the idea of "Asteroids" world where you appear on the other side of the screen

lee-beever 2020-04-22 18:07

@laurari hah, I saw your ship and thought that looks familiar (love Kenney's stuff)! It's great how we can have similar ideas, yet they play so differently. Games are great!

shubh 2020-04-23 13:03

Interesting game, nice grqphics but can be improved

lee-beever 2020-04-23 13:07

@shubh thanks, any suggestions?

god-colo 2020-04-23 13:09

Awesome space shooter game! I like how the 3D models are put in a 2D environment! Really fancy looking! Greato Jobu!

lebbyfoxx 2020-04-23 13:10

This is a lovely game here. A fun take on Asteroids with great visuals, controls, music and gameplay. Fits in with the theme nicely as well. Well done!

shubh 2020-04-23 13:12

@lee-beever yes just add some stars in the background the space is looking a bit empty but it is still nice like this

penguinbob 2020-04-23 13:23

Nice relaxing game. I love the art style and sound effects. When you start moving fast the movement becomes uncontrollable for some reason. Keep up the good work!

grigri-games 2020-04-23 16:58

Really cool game ! Music, sprites and everything are really good ! The ship is bit hard to control though ! but good work !

hermeses 2020-04-23 17:16

Simple but cool game! Pretty fun and it fits very well with the theme!

donitz 2020-04-23 21:10

Very pretty graphics and bloom effects. The music is relaxing.

pomelouncia 2020-04-24 04:21

It's clever to use the theme in this way. In the process of playing, I always think of my insignificance. Impressive! The game has a high fault tolerance rate and is very gentle. An error will be reported when you click exit.

noahnewline 2020-04-24 08:29

Very elegant submission! I enjoyed juggling multiple things, with both the asteroids, evacuees, and shield. Loved the idea of the shield by the way, a fun twist instead of just one-hit. The sounds, music, and aesthetics created a nice cohesive atmosphere. The screen-wrapping player was a nice touch!

smbe19 2020-04-24 10:06

Very nice game. It took a bit to get used to the controls and how everything works, but after that it was a lot of fun.

calcitherin 2020-04-24 10:09

Great clean game. Loved the music and graphics.

fadoli03 2020-04-26 11:40

Hey game is good overall, glad that someone added input that's not only WASD

I somehow managed to leave the screen and am not in the game screen anymore (was going to the left side of the screen and thrusted back to reach the middle, somehow my vessel disapeared when I did that.

corbak 2020-04-26 12:03

I had fun for what it is :) simple, not too difficult, funny moments with physics, clear goal.... everything that is how it supposed to be! annnd hear I am learning from it! :D Well done for your solid entry!

lee-beever 2020-04-29 20:23

@fadoli03 ahh yeah. There appears to be a rare edge case where that can happen. I’ll have another look at the wrapping code.

shreyasrao-ts 2020-05-12 17:32

Really good game. Liked the SFX and the gameplay.!!!
