LD46 — Keep it alive

Sim Cell by Archimagus 2020-05-11T14:34:51Z

Playing the game from a non-biologist perspective was an interesting challenge for sure. I didn't *really* know what I was doing, but experimenting with the different kind of "actors" felt science-y on it's own. It was nice discovering that combination of them worked together, even with no prior knowledge. Also I appreciate all the effort that went into the user interface, it's looking very intimidatingly complex, but in a good way that fits the serious theme of the game :D

Nightfall Sigil Gray Shield by kuro 2020-05-11T14:16:33Z

hmmm I was able to open the link after being warned about a certificate error, but on that page I got a 404 in what seems to be polish...

This is insane! You did a very good job, the game does a great job at conveying the feeling of exploring the environment and figuring out what to do. I especially appreciated the "match-up-the-frequencies" puzzle. Very intuitive overall. I nearly made it to the end myself, up to where I had woken up the robots, but then didn't know what to do now. Thanks to your play through video I realized I had to return to the spaceship. I simply had missed the spaceship at the beginning. This would be my only concern, to try and make the spaceship a bit more obvious at the beginning or explicitly tell the player to return to the ship. Other than that, it's an ace entry :)

Potater Toss by BoxedMeatRevolution 2020-04-22T15:23:05Z

Well this is exceptional :D. Despite the base premise being very wacky the gameplay work well and it feels like balancing a hot potato. Also appreciate the scoring system based on how many optional extra goals the player completes. After a few tries I was able to beat it. As the potato had cooled of I thought "what now?" to myself, but instinctively decided to notch the potato over to my head to eat it. Yum!

Secret Protection by dcrdro 2020-04-23T18:07:25Z

What's this dude doing just walking along the street of gunpeople? He should be quarantained at home :D I made it to 82! It felt like the enemies at the top of the screen were more likely to miss than the lower ones, is there something to it did I imagine it? Also nice tutorial animation!

Night Keeper by SleepyStudios 2020-04-22T15:09:34Z

Good one! The main mechanic feels well though out and the game is very well put together overall. I was especially impressed by the amount of enemy types and the inclusion of a leaderboard. And as mentioned before I noticed the amount of creatures' eyes representing their hitpoints, very clever idea!

The Campfire by Memel06 2020-04-22T15:50:54Z

Nice and complete, feels well crafted overall. I beat it first try, but got properly caught off-guard by red eyes appearing in the darkness. I had slight issues with getting caught up in clutter (like a small rock on the floor) I couldn't see very well, but it might have to do with room I was playing in being a bit bright. BTW your mac and linux links are broken but I just used the windows link instead ;)

MiniDrone by Rewzu 2020-04-24T17:55:19Z

Nice visuals and polish! Personally I wish there would be a bit more tension in the gameplay. I found myself playing very cautiously and avoiding risks, rarely moving far away from the charging stations. Maybe if charging stations would run out for a while, only recharging when they're hit by sunlight, and resources dropped by meteors would disappear after awhile, forcing the player to decide which resources to go to first I can see it becoming a great game! The foundation to extend from is very solid and promising!

Colonize by lovetocode999 2020-05-11T05:32:09Z

Combining a shooter with a clicker game is deffinitely a novel idea, wish the difficulty didn't scale up that quickly tho. I barely had time to get a look at the options inside the dome

Clive's Flight by Ben Newington 2020-04-23T17:40:35Z

Congrats on finishing your first game, and good job for creating all the assets yourselves! I liked the vivid colors, soothing music and zoomy bird controls :)

DemolitionX Jam by scsc 2020-05-11T15:10:11Z

It's obviously rather rough right now, but I had great bit of fun trashing my car around the arena. Once I even jumped out of it :D. Car physics and damage simulation are good!

Nice mood, I was very pulled into the atmosphere

KEEP IT ALIVE by yy404 2020-05-12T14:37:06Z

I enjoyed finding a strategy that worked. My approach was abandoning the far right while focusing on keeping the left side alive, and it worked out very well! :) I appreciate the subtle political message behind it :D My best time was 270s with a score of 247 on easy

Save the Plant by burg113 2020-04-22T15:26:05Z

There doesn't seem to be a mac version on your itch page :(

Save the Plant by burg113 2020-04-22T18:00:26Z

@burg113 It's fine, just wanted to make you aware of it incase you didn't notice :)

shopalypse by Keravon 2020-04-23T18:27:01Z

It's obviously a bit buggy, but as someone who used to use Gamemaker myself I definitely acknowledge the effort that must have gone into all the UI and sequencing! Also the graphics work well together, and the sountrack is very memorable :D

Dino Volleyball by PoignantBanana 2020-04-23T17:52:08Z

Very nice presentation and animation, it feels very complete. I even managed to line up some shots! Also good use of the shadow to indicate the exact position of the ball
