Very impressive what you were able to deliver in only 5 hours!

I love the art style 💖 The music and sound effects are great. But most of all, the gameplay is really something unique.

I was able to solve most of them easily, ~~although sometimes I wished, that I could undo my last move, maybe just once or twice~~ (Edit: I completely missed the backspace key, lol!). The last level was a real headbanger, but I finally solved it!

What I learned is, that I'm really bad at estimating distances 😂 Good job and well done!

jeremy-ryan 2025-10-06 14:19

@zubspace Thanks for playing! And you can use Backspace to undo just the last move.

100th-coin 2025-10-06 16:24

Woah, I love how the first few levels have multiple solutions. The fact that level 3 works if you start vertically or horizontally makes it an absolute masterpiece of level design.

Here's my recording to provide more feedback. Cheers, and good luck with Next Fest!!!

I really like this - at time of writing, I've not beat level 3(?) yet, but it's a lovely bit of work. (nb: I also missed that backspace was undo, but spotted that r was restart? Weird bit of UI psychology there.)

Out of curiosity, how did you design the levels? Compass and paper?

thisisspy 2025-10-06 16:30

This game is very simple yet also very fun. I really liked it! Maybe a few more levels would be nice but it's still an impressive game for 5 hours in my opinion

jeremy-ryan 2025-10-06 16:38

@thisisspy @100th-coin Thanks for playing!

@thingus I actually designed them inside my image editing software (Paint.NET). In the game files for the download version you can see that the level geometry is just saved as an image. And Paint.NET shows you the length in pixels when you use the line tool, which let me pretty easily calculate the line lengths and locations of coins!

I gotta say, this is my first full top marks game I have played. The simplicity of the guess mechanic, the feel of estimating and trying is lovely and the style and vibe is excellent. Great use of the theme, just all of it. wonderful! This is great work.

Even though you only had five hours to spare, you've managed to create a very inntovative and fun little puzzle game. The option to use Backspace to undo the last move could have been displayed a bit more prominently, because I missed it at first and it turned out to be a godsend in the last level. Good luck on your Steam game!

Absolutely love this, and incredible that it was only made in five hours. The elegance of the mechanics in this game shine through. Was sad when it ended. Impressive work.

sheepolution 2025-10-07 18:05

Really nice litte game, and impressive that you made it in such a short amount of time. Those were some difficult puzzles, and it was a nice surprise at the last puzzle what I made once I completed it. Great job!

mathstr0fficial 2025-10-07 20:58

This is really impressive for the little time you had! The puzzles were definitely decently tricky, but never felt too frustrating or confusing. I'm frankly a little glad there were as few levels as there were just so I didn't get too stuck on something harder, but I also would have loved to play more. My full playthrough is linked below with more thoughts!

In only five hours?? Nice job! Cool idea and the execution is very slick.

jimbly 2025-10-07 23:04

Really fun little puzzle game! I wish I could click on the undo/restart areas of the screen instead of having to set down my drink and reach for the keyboard . I found the last puzzle finicky, as my solution required pixel-perfect placement of every point... I'm very glad to see everyone else who posted video playthroughts found a different/simpler solution that's shaped like a star .

jose-bonilla 2025-10-08 04:03

Super amazing job, you are mental to do this in 5 hours. Kudos.

nnnnneeeedddd 2025-10-08 16:55

Insanely innovative, doing this in 5 hours is so impressive :O

daniboygg 2025-10-08 18:46

Great game! I don't know how you manage to make this kind of appealing games in so little time. The feedback when you cannot set a new point and the music, all fits very well. The only thing I would suggest is undoing with secondary click of the mouse instead of backspace, easier to handle. It's strange, but if you use the wheel of the mouse, it handles it like a left click as well .

grid96 2025-10-08 20:37

Great entry as usual! xD simple but well implemented mechanic. Thank you for also adding the undo function!

johncast123 2025-10-09 07:18

This game is awesome!! How did you come up with this idea in 5 hours?? I'm so impressed with human talent man...

I think the only issue is that I found the strategy I had was just to do trial and error, but I'm wondering if there is a way to make it more puzzle based.

cassowary 2025-10-13 02:41

Wow, cool one! I really like the chunky pixel look, and the gameplay is interesting. Some of these took me quite a while to solve! Sound design and stuff is also good. Even though it's a bit short, this is really impressively complete for being put together in such a short time.

sudocoffee 2025-10-14 17:12

Pretty awesome entry (especially just for five hours)! Feels polished, the mechanic is unique, and the puzzles are deceptively challenging. Especially the last two, I had to experiment with a lot of paths before I found the correct order.

Very interesting concept! It's simple but challenging and fun. Graphics are clean, and the game feels well polished even with your really short time constraint. It's just kinda unclear what you were going for with the art style, the background make it looks like it could be submarine themed or something, but the UI looks more flat design-ish. Still a very solid game, and very impressive that you could do this in such a short time. Good luck with next fest!

tanis 2025-10-18 09:49

This is super impressive for just 5 hours into making it! You had a great idea for the mechanic of this nice little gem. And it's actually quite polished. Grats!

lereveur 2025-10-18 17:40

Wow. In only 5 hours I would never end with a finished original puzzle game with several levels… Well done!

hacksawunit 2025-10-23 21:49

Awesome little entry- wait, 5 hours!? Wild!!! You did an excellent job, ESPECIALLY with the time constraint. The presentation is nice, and it feels responsive. I like that the game makes it very clear when you can't move, does a little "nope!" sound and effect when you click anwyay, makes the line turn yellow when you can collect something. There's even a little animation on the level transitions! It's again impressive that it's all in there with only 5 hours.

The puzzles were fun and well designed, and I didn't feel like I had to brute force them or anything. I was enjoying the game, but was a little annoyed that there wasn't an undo button, until I realized there *IS* an undo button and I just skimmed over it. It's a nice feeling to wish for a feature and realize it's already in the game and staring me in the face, haha. I don't think a game has ever made me think so explicitly about "wiggle room" like this game does... a few degrees to the left or right with your first line can make or break the puzzle!

alchemic 2025-10-24 05:48

Insane that you made this in just a few hours. I really like the visual style, and how it shows the upcoming line lengths.

mateusboga 2025-10-24 10:31

For the little time you had to make this this is super polished and impressive! I really enjoy simple games like these, and you did a good job. Maybe it was a little too easy for me, finished in like 4 minutes xD (not a flex)

Great little game (in 5 hours?!), excellent work!

pres2300 2025-10-24 22:37

Great level design! I think the difficulty progression was well done, too. Nice work!
