The art style is really interesting! Sometimes it makes me think of the style of TOEM. Coincidentally, the production time also aligns well with the Halloween theme. Congratulations on your game!

Art is wicked awesome!
this is a very, very cute game! The art style is so gorgeous!
I cannot believe this game hasn't gotten more attention yet. Absolutely fantastic. Art style reminds me a lot of Don't Starve. Also great take on the Halloween vibe, Pumpkin Paula looks like she's right out of [Pottsfield](https://over-the-garden-wall.fandom.com/wiki/Pottsfield)!
Very cool! Actually scary. The Upgrades felt very worthwhile to get. The art style is beatiful.
The art and music are soooo good. I wish the game leveraged speed upgrades over battery upgrades because re-treading already walked paths started to feal tedious. The camera was really well done. I liked how it shifted from a static camera at your base to a follow camera when you were looking for candy.
I love the art style and the mood with the music/sound
The ghost is so cute. Art style is perfect for halloween
I adore this entry. Fantastic level of polish, fun game-loop, and the art with the "don't starve" look you got going rocks.
Ya nailed it :)

Good game! I really liked the visual style and atmosphere.
I would be glad if you would also play our game and rate it!
@maxiney @lizardinblizzard @liumeishan thank you so much for playing it and for your feedback :)
@klausklapper thank you so much! Paula Pumpkin is indeed heavy inspired by Over the Garden Wall :)
Very super cool style and graphics. But for me, there is not enough variety of gameplay. But it was kinda fun to collect all candies!
Great art style and visual, the SFXs and music also contribute a lot towards the atmosphere.
The game is very polished, I didn't find any bugs, the gameplay is intuitive, great graphics and atmosphere, very good work!
Stunning and perfect I loved it.
The game’s aesthetic is fantastic. It’s a great reminder that you don’t need hyper realistic or overly detailed graphics, just a distinctive art style is enough to create a memorable visual identity. And combined with the sound design, it really sets a mood. (Is there an art style name for it ?)
The core mechanic of exploring with a light torch works really well. For some reason it reminded me of Alan Wake even though both game use the torch quite differently.
I also tried running out of battery since that didn't happen in my first run, and the tension was incredible. The sound design does a phenomenal job of building that oppressive atmosphere, wao.
Loved it.
Very cool idea. I love the use of theme both for the Jam and for spooky month. You executed it perfectly too. The art is phenomenal and encroaching darkness was very ominous. Felt very Don't Starve vibes. It was great how the music got more intense and spooky as you got further out, and then went back to the "cheery" tune at the safe zone. No notes.
Awesome, love the animation!.
Yay, managed to grab all that good stuff from those far away villas. Such a nice entry, fantastic artstyle, adorable animations, cute premise and in total just very well exe'cute'd :) Feels very complete and polished :)
Amazing game, from the start screen i rated this with 5 start on graphics, man they look insane, like the game aswell, but the time limiter is a bit harsh. overall great game
Love the design and execution of the game! The core gameplay is fun and thematic, plus the art and music add to the atmosphere. Super polished, nothing to critique, this game is great!
Really cool game and a bonus point for the spooktober vibes, I also really love the art style!
Lovely game! A beautiful game with fitting mechanics. Keep bringing us entries like this!
Great atmospheric game! The only thing missing is a map that reveals itself as you explore — just to have some idea of where you haven’t been yet. I spent half an hour running around looking for the cookie =D
The art is amazing! and the game loop is solid and constructive. There's a lot of polish here that makes the experience really fun, like seeing the owls, or having little fences to block the path, or the arrow pointing back home.
Very well done!
The map would be nice to have, to be sure. Maybe some safe lanterns other than your homebase that you could enable and return to?
Nice visual minigame, but a bit too long — i would like to get pointer or map to save player's time. Perhaps light circle narrows too quickly, it could be made to narrow more gradually, leaving player some visibility around them.
Loved it. The art is spot on. Audio is spot on. They both give the game a great atmosphere. I liked the gameplay loop, and it didn't out stay its welcome. I especially liked the little touches like the eyes in the bushes. Lots of fun :8ball:
Such a cute little ghost~ The game feels really immersive — even though it’s not a horror game, I got super tense when the screen went almost completely dark (just like being afraid of the dark as a kid!)
@amiuke thank you very much, that was exactly what we wanted to show - as a kid going on your own hunting for some sweets but than you have to go through some darker streets...exactly that feeling we wanted to transport :)
@melomaner @firellon @custodi — thanks for the feedback! Yes a map would have been a good addition I think in the beginning it was a bit intentional, like when you are a kid going out on Halloween you also don't have a map (at least I didn't have one). But for the gameplay, it would have been a good addition. Maybe we add one if we polish the game further. :)

Collected the good stuff !
Really great atmosphere! The art and audio came together very nicely into one cohesive experience. I really liked it!
Everything about this was great, from the art to the audio. Awesome mood. Thanks for the game.
Huge fan of this entry, you made super polished game in such a short time, I'm really impressed! Every aspect is so pretty and well-made, this is definitely one of my favorites (:
So cuty style) Like a paper)
Extremely charming! Great art, characters, and sound design :jack_o_lantern:
I fall in love with the artstyle. Reminds me of Don't Starve one. The sound design is very efficient. Great game, I want to see more now !
like many others have said, the art is wonderful and works especially well with the limited color palette. I like the gameplay loop, the upgrades feel good, and it truly is spooky venturing further and further out. Excellent job with the audio as well, the tune played in the central square is very comforting after being in the outskirts. Really solid little game, great job!
The art style here is spectacular. It reminds of of Don't Starve as well. The music and ambient sounds are really, really good. I just love everything about the game, especially the fitting Halloween vibe!
This was so satisfying trying to get back with it getting harder and harder to see. I love the randomness of the houses, the pros and cons of choosing upgrades, and of course, the charming art and music. And something about black and white plus orange was such a perfect color scheme. The swaying trees, the creepy sounds when you get too far away, all of this combined made the perfect game.
Like others said a solid entry, everything is on point and looks great! It really feels tense when everything gets dark. Maybe some sort of ability 'ghost fly' to go really fast for a short amount of time to add a bit of strategy and help with the backtracking or to escape those last-second pinches.
