Wow, that was pretty fun. :P The pixel art looked great and the sounds were good too. It would've been nice if there were some music.

pretty nice game love your art
Incredibly fun and very nice looking, good job!
Great art and really fun gameplay. Gameplay is really polished. I'd like to see more weapons added and some music, but awesome work.
This is great fun! The art is beautiful and everything feels good and responsive. Some more weapons or some music would have been nice but this is very good on its own, well done!
Love this game! It reminds me of those couch games you would player with friends. Awesome art, sound effects and the gameplay is great!
First, found it really cool. Then, found it repetitive, but after the 6th level, it becomes really really cool!
Very very nice, as always!
I played the levels, lost once or twice. No big deal, I'd soon be finished, I told myself.
After 10+ (20+? 30+? 200?) tries at level 13, I give up. I admit it, the AI is better than me.
I am just a mere, replacable human after all.
It would be nice if the mouse was locked to the window, or that you could toggle it.
Thanks for making this game, and keep up all the good work!
Very cool title, there's hardly anything to criticize though!
The Art is really cohesive, the controls feel good and the AI can get pretty tough. Congrats on doing this in such a small timeframe. :)
Rxi, very cool game! Thank you! The 13 level was to hard for me :)
Played this game for a while. This game feels polished and is really fun. I could see people playing this game on a site like Nitrome.
Really nice work!
I beat every level and managed to get a perfect on most of them. It's amazing how engaging you managed to make your game with no human opponents. The AI is master-crafted. The only problem I found with the AI is that the super high handicap opponents are TOO good with the rail gun and will insta-spawn kill you repeatedly until they run out of ammo.
The only other nitpick I can think of is that on one of the maps you spawn right next to the edge of the map and if you're confused about who you are you'll immediately suicide. That should tell you the quality of the game if this is the only real criticism I can give. It's fantastic. Tons of fun.
This game is pretty fun! The visuals are very polished and the sound effects are excellent, although the lack of music did make the game feel kind of empty. The game could have also used some background instead of a plain gray one. I was really impressed by the amount of maps in the game. That's a lot of content for such a short time-frame! The AI was very well made and I had a blast playing with larger groups. unfortunately, the levels in the campaign that were 1v1 could get pretty tiresome, as they essentially boiled down to repeating the same thing over and over, getting one of the better weapons and camping a choke-point. The chaos is where this game really shines, and I had the most fun playing with 2-3 bots at a time. Fortunately, the inclusion of free-play means I can select however many bots I want in a match, but I would have liked for the campaign to focus more on multi-battles instead of having so much 1v1, as they sort of bog down the pacing, particularly early on. Despite this gripe, the game is top notch. Certainly one of the most polished games this Ludum Dare. Great job!
Amazing... I would like to create a very responsive action game similar to yours some other time. I like the sounds smoke effects when they jump, the ai and most especially the art.
Very pretty pixel graphics. It also has very smooth-responsive feel to it. The AI felt kinda dumb, at least the first few levels I have played. Some retro/electro music would be nice addition.
This is a very solid little arena game, good fun to play (Although I _reeeeeally_ wanted to use a controller). As usual your pixelart is very charming and gives the game a great look and feel.
Although there was no music, the sound effects were outstanding, especially combined with the visual feedback. Getting hit, firing or getting a kill all felt super satisfying!
Looks beautiful. It's fun to play. Bots are great. It's like a finished game. I don't know how you made it in 48 hours.
The level of polish and enjoyability on this far exceeds what could ever be expected from a 48 hour jam entry. Massively impressive.
I'm impressed you pulled it off in 48h. There's no more polish necessary, the retro style fits perfectly. I enjoy the simple sound effects and dynamic nature of the genre you chose. It's cute, it's minimal, it's fun. Good job.
Really good entry! I like the weapons, and that enemies attack each other rather than all gunning for you. The rail gun is satisfying when you get the hang of it. Forces you to be patient. Really could have benefited from some thumping arena battle music. The enemy AI got stuck a little easily, but impressive AI nonetheless. Graphics great, nice sound effects. Nice work!
If you like to rate our game, we'd really appreciate it! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/e-at
Cheers!
Lovely graphics as expected from you, and the controls were pretty much flawless and the visual and audio feedback very responsive. Love me some juiciness! Good job on implementing bots and a campaign mode, that's a legit accomplishment, good job man!
Fun and polished game! The gameplay is solid rock, the AI works great too, the art is so nice! I just wish there was some background music to set the tone, but really good job! Amazing entry, congratulations! Keep it up!
Another excellent rxi game. When I'm tried of testing other entries I always checks what you have done and it never disapoints me. Great mood, speed and jump feeling. Too bad there is no music this time.
Played this before voting opened and almost forgot to come back and rate it. @rxi always puts together awesome LD entries... but no time lapse this time? 5/5 would frag again.
Fun game - would be fun on a large screen with four players. :D
The platforms would be cool if you could fall down through them pressing down, it was hard to get to lower ground to get the pickups.
