Oct 21 11:42:12 The Inventor ♥ 0 Cool idea, and interesting visual. I thought first it's easy but you made it in a clever way on the enemies movements that it's harder than how it looks and I keep hitting them an losing.
Oct 21 11:45:35 3m 23s Apteka ♥ 2 before anything, the graphics is a chief kiss. The vibe is interesting, and the gameplay is unique. Good work! The dev attitude on some of the replies though is something else.
Oct 21 11:52:17 6m 42s CassetteRobot ♥ 1 Please correct the label on the download link, it says "HTML5 (web)" but it's windows ".exe"
Oct 21 11:54:40 2m 23s Isekai Da Vinci ♥ 1 Art style is good, the story is interesting. Overall a good take on the theme
Oct 21 16:12:15 4h 17m Feelm ♥ 1 This is a maze! :D the concept is interesting, I was scared the whole time that I will get jump scared but so far there is none, still the horror was there. The issues for me was the fiddly controls like scrolling to select an item which was very hard to use as the scroll sensitivity is so high. other than that, a solid entry to the jam!
Oct 21 16:19:01 6m 46s Ritual Journal ♥ 1 Smart take on the theme, never I would have thought of Rituals as old tech. The mechanic was hard to get into first, also the fighting mechanics is not very clear. Other than that, the music is good and fitting, and the gameplay is intertesting. a solid entry to the jam!
Oct 21 16:24:12 5m 11s H.U.R.L ♥ 0 reminds me of that Worms cannon game (forgot it name), a nice interpretation of the theme. It's was hard to figure out the controls at first, and the lake of animation of the catapults movements made it harder, but other than that a solid entry to the jam!
Oct 21 16:34:57 10m 45s Loops 4U ♥ 2 Wii U is a great fit for the old tech theme, and splitting the maze on the GamePad from the tile puzzle on the TV is a clever idea. The frutiger aero look is lovely too. Nice work!
Oct 21 16:35:36 39s Snake Age ♥ 0 Snake mixed with a civilization builder is a really fresh combo, and having autonomous snakes expand your territory sounds great. One small thing: it seems hard to tell rival houses apart from your own. Nice job!
Oct 21 16:40:23 4m 47s Boo'x Office ♥ 3 An old cinema projectionist job with ghosts is a great fit for the theme, and the film reel setup looks really cool. Sounds like the timing rules could use a clearer explanation and the crashes need a fix, but the atmosphere is clearly there. Nice work!
Oct 21 16:43:32 3m 09s DISK ERROR ♥ 0 Playing as an antivirus inside a dying 1986 computer is a great take on the theme, and the CRT look sounds spot on. Hope the boss hit detection gets sorted. Fun concept!
Oct 21 16:45:02 1m 30s LOKOMOTIV ♥ 0 Driving an old locomotive and juggling the machine room is a neat idea, and it sounds like the sense of speed is spot on. Making interactables easier to see and brightening the dark areas would help a lot. Good start!
Oct 21 16:46:09 1m 07s PIONEER 60 ♥ 0 Repairing a spacecraft on Mars with a terminal AI and assembly puzzles is a great setup, and the cockpit and takeoff sequence look really polished. A bit text heavy at the start, but a very impressive jam entry!
Oct 21 16:46:16 7s Rust and Grit ♥ 1 Piloting a rusty crab tank through levers, switches and reload locks is a fun and original take, and the QWOP-like chaos sounds great. Turning the wheels seems a bit too fiddly, but I love the tactile UI idea!
Oct 21 16:47:22 1m 06s Steam Locomotive ♥ 1 A hands-on steam locomotive sim with coal, water and direction switching is a charming fit for the theme, and the low poly landscapes look good. Shame about the WebGL mouse bug, but great work for a first jam!
Oct 21 16:47:29 7s Old Claw Machine ♥ 0 Using an old claw machine to pick up old tech is a funny take on the theme, and the claw frustration sounds all too familiar. Some optimization would help, but the concept is solid.
Oct 21 16:47:35 6s Old Tech, Dead Tech ♥ 0 Interesting twist on the theme with old techs living, working and dying as your population. The text to gameplay balance seems to need work, but adding a goal list sounds like a good fix. Good luck polishing it!
Oct 21 16:47:43 8s One Last Command ♥ 2 People themselves being the obsolete tech, with a robot librarian trying to restore one, is a really interesting take. It sounds like the implementation is a bit rough, but the art and audio get a lot of praise.
Oct 21 16:48:25 42s Crescendo Helpline ♥ 0 Working a helpline and guiding players through games with a manual is a really fun premise. Great concept for a jam game!
Oct 21 16:48:45 20s DAL-Q ♥ 1 Coding itself becoming the old tech is a clever angle on the theme, and the grayscale look and hidden references sound great. A slightly faster pace for the dialogue might help. Interesting take!
Oct 21 16:54:09 5m 24s Detritus Delver ♥ 1 Dissecting old electronics off a conveyor is a fun idea, and the pixel art of chunky laptops and cassette players fits the theme perfectly. Slowing the progression a bit would leave more time for upgrades. Nice work!
Oct 21 17:01:25 7m 16s Floppy Quest ♥ 1 The cartridge inserting mechanic and the fourth wall breaking screen to computer animations are really cool, and the handmade sprites and music get lots of praise. A short hint about the sword and shield would help. Great first jam!
Oct 21 17:04:23 2m 58s Across The Meridian ♥ 0 Learning to tell time at night with a merkhet is a really cool and unusual idea, and it fits the old tech theme nicely. A brighter start or one clear first prompt could get people to the stars faster. Great concept!
Oct 21 17:07:06 2m 43s KickBack ♥ 1 Clanking 19th century prototype weapons that throw you backward in a brass infested greenhouse is a great spin on the theme. The recoil jumping and boot kick sound fast and juicy, with real Quake and Ultrakill vibes. Nice work!
Oct 21 17:09:49 2m 43s Resentful Relayer 2B ♥ 1 An enigmatic piece of vintage hardware to fiddle with is a neat premise, and the music and sound effects get great feedback. A few instructions would help people dive in. Cool to see it made in Clickteam Fusion!
Oct 21 17:12:35 2m 46s C.O.O.T. 2: Even COOTer ♥ 3 A council of obsolete tech fighting for survival in a SNES style brawler is a great take on the theme, and the music gets so much love. The retro monitor loading screen is a nice touch too. Great job!
Oct 21 17:16:01 3m 26s Last Courier ♥ 1 A little delivery robot still doing its job after the end of the world is a poignant premise, and the art and modeling look excellent. Clearer guidance on what to do next and a bit more audio would help a lot. Lovely concept!
Oct 21 17:18:22 2m 21s Now Showing a Stranger ♥ 0 Adapting The Stranger as an interactive story on an old TV with chunky knobs is a really interesting idea, and the sound design gets great feedback. The trial section sounds like it could use more time, but a strong concept for a jam!
Oct 21 17:21:08 2m 46s Data ♥ 1 An escape room style puzzle in a labyrinthine basement is a solid premise, and the atmosphere gets nice feedback. The blurriness, dark corners and lack of a tutorial seem to hold it back a bit, but a lot of work clearly went into it. Nice job!
Oct 21 17:23:52 2m 44s Out of Sync ♥ 0 Moving the platforms around to reach the end is a great twist on the platformer formula. It sounds like the controls and visuals need some polish, but there is a lot of potential here. Nice work!
Oct 21 17:26:21 2m 29s UNCALLED FOR ♥ 1 Using a modified phone camera and gallery to move, duplicate and scale objects is a clever puzzle mechanic, and the atmosphere gets great feedback. Nice touch supporting two languages too. Well done!
Oct 21 17:28:51 2m 30s Punch Card 0 ♥ 1 Sorting punch cards with photo developing and cassette analysis is a creepy and original premise, and the mood and models get lots of praise. The pacing sounds a bit slow with long days, but the atmosphere looks great. Nice work!
Oct 21 17:31:07 2m 16s Download_BTC.exe ♥ 0 Fighting off pop-ups, viruses and fake close buttons while a download crawls along captures the chaos of old Windows really well, and the humor lands. The mechanics could be explained a bit better, but a fun idea!
Oct 21 17:33:59 2m 52s Crazy Froggers ♥ 1 Frog warriors defending against waves of floppy disks, tangled tape and broken TVs is a charming take on the theme, and the sound effects, humor and screenshake get a lot of love. Building your own path and the speed buttons sound like great touches. Fun tower defense!
Oct 21 17:38:14 4m 15s Textolite ♥ 2 Great color palette and a lot of personality in the characters. Having ranged on one mouse button and melee on the other is a nice setup for a roguelite, and the level transitions are a neat touch. Pretty impressive for 72 hours.
Oct 21 17:41:02 2m 48s ChootChoot ♥ 1 Trains blasting each other with numbered cannons is a silly premise and it works. The voice lines and sound effects carry a lot of the charm. I would have liked more control over the train speed on the bigger maps, but the chaos is a good time. Choo choo!
Oct 21 17:43:49 2m 47s I Got Isekai’d Into a Dance Game World! ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪ ♥ 1 Cheriku has a lot of charm and the art style is really nice. The desktop-style menu with apps is a fun framing for a rhythm game, and the custom outfits are a cute touch. The key hints were a bit confusing at first, so the tutorial you added is a good call. Nice work.
Oct 21 17:46:39 2m 50s Steel Tree ♥ 1 The Dyatlov pass story is a great fit for an old-tech setting, and the smoky, eerie mood really sells it. Working with the cassette and the radio panel feels fitting. It could use a clearer explanation of the controls, but the atmosphere is the highlight for me. Good job.
Oct 21 17:55:27 8m 48s Old farm old times ♥ 1 A farming loop of small chores with requests that keep expiring is a neat idea, and it gets stressful in a good way when you juggle the watering and the harvesting. Collision and the controls feel a bit rough, but for 24 hours this is a solid base. A short in-game tutorial would help a lot.
Oct 21 17:58:29 3m 02s Zwaard Smid ♥ 1 Shaping the metal with the hammer, fuller and puncher is a really original mechanic, and the commissions with design drawings give it a nice goal. The calm music and the orc blacksmith set a cozy mood. Items falling through the floor near the smelter hurt a bit, but the forging itself is great. Really cool entry.
Oct 21 18:03:40 5m 11s Real Intelligence ♥ 0 A cleaning robot waking up alone in the library of a vanished civilization is a lovely setup, and the quiet, moody tone fits the old tech theme well. The character art and the UI look polished. The story pulled me in more than the puzzles did, but I liked where it was heading. Nice work.
Oct 21 18:07:21 3m 41s Game & Roots Two-Flavor ♥ 1 The LCD handheld look is spot on and made me think of those old pocket games. Two mini games in one entry is a nice bonus. Some beeps would have added a lot, and a difficulty curve would keep it fresh longer, but the look and feel are charming. Nice work.
Oct 21 19:01:17 53m 56s HYPNAGOGIA FRONT ♥ 1 Seeing the asylum through a camera while following Iris is a great perspective, and the blue noise filters and voice acting build a really tense mood. The stepping controls take some getting used to, and the search for the morphine is not easy. Overall the concept, atmosphere and visuals are strong. Well done.
Oct 21 20:35:07 1h 33m old-tech-recovery ♥ 0 Hope Nintendo doesn't see this. I am kidding! Very beautiful visuals and nice mechanic, quite challenging but I can't stop playing. Well done!
