A very striking take on AI, the goal is obviously to share a glimpse of what could be our near future regarding development, and to what extent traditional coding is an old tech or will soon be.
Graphics have some quirks but the overall picture is pretty nice, partly thanks to the grayscale choice and other post-process effects.
Trying to find all the easter eggs was a lot of fun, some of them are pretty nicely hidden (hello black ops)!
The end feels a bit underwhelming but a couple more hours could probably have solved that.

Great job on this project! The visual style and audio fit together really nicely, creating an awesome vibe. Super impressive execution within the jam deadline! Left my ratings! Feel free to check out our cat bomb-crafting game when you have time. You can try the updated alternative version I put together (fixed mechanics + working PC): https://naiper.itch.io/meow-bomb-by-naiper
Would love to hear your thoughts!

I see a lot of work you put into this game! graphics are insane, animations also, that appearance of items - brr! but I found dialogues and pacing a bit too slow. Though I certainly like your project very high!
Really nice work, liked the dialogues and animations, nice job

Coding itself becoming the old tech is a clever angle on the theme, and the grayscale look and hidden references sound great. A slightly faster pace for the dialogue might help. Interesting take!

We really enjoyed the effects at first, thanks for stretching your fingers.
And I’m also in a tetris XD

Nice little game! Really interesting concept with a lot of potential! Great work!
> I’d like to give a huge thank you to my friend Rolly who helped me with the original idea. Check out his awesome games btw.
So, we don't know Rolly and you didn't give any links, how do we check his awesome games? 😅
(found only two references, Stanley Parable in the mug and SUPER HOT in the microwave; it may be that I just didn't notice some stuff was a reference though)

@wendel-scardua Oooh you're right I'll add it in the description ! Otherwise it's here : https://ldjam.com/users/rolly/games
Yeah some references can be tricky, did you check the list on the wall ? You have all of them and you can show hints as well ! But nice job finding those two.

No matter where you stand on AI usage questions in game jams, one must confess that what you achieved is truly amazing. The models, audio, sounds, shaders that you have created over one weekend are quite impressive, and above all, work so really together!
I found the typing to be a bit tedious when it comes to get more coins, but I guess that's the whole idea behind the game 😄.
Very cool game, with quite a few smart references! Good job!

I didn't really complete the game because there is so much typing involved. 😅 The environment looks cool though, I wish there was more to the game than just typing.

@woona First of all, thank you for your comment. This is part of the message (where our current coding workflow would be the old tech of tomorrow). Though there are only 3 mandatory scripts to type. You're never forced to write more than 3.
There's more than just typing too, maybe it's not clear enough though : You need to find 20 references in the environment (video games, cinema, music...). How many did you find ? 😉 Have a look on the wall near the door, there's the list and hints !

I was so scared at the start of the stream I was going to get heckled for my lack of pop culture knowledge HAHA sweating bullets 😅
I enjoyed the exploration and narrator (maybe somewhat unreliable vibes) feel going on. I think I was looking for a UI or object to enter in references/redeem what little knowledge I did have.
A hilarious thing that I think speaks to your ability to understand the player, I often would be talking out loud on the stream and then your design would complete my thoughts.. it was funny. An example: Well I know I would hide a coin in [spoiler].. moments later oh look a coin just fell out of [spoiler]. It was amusing and a bit creepy having you in my head.

@tigerj Thank you so much for the time you took to stream my game and the time you're taking here to come back, comment and rate, it's kind ! I really liked your positive vibes, either on my game or on other games. It was really cool to watch you play (except when you tried to become an eletrician and unplugged everything hahaha).
Yeah I lacked a bit of time for the UI/object to input the refs, but this is definitely 100% the logical next step ! Maybe I'll push a small update in the upcoming days if I have the time !
Huge fan of the art style and atmosphere you’ve built here, the audio and visual design blend together super well! The movement felt a bit heavy/sluggish at times, but overall this was really fun to play and has so much potential. Great work!
