Tbh it was a little hard for me to understand what to do. There is a lot of information and it was somewhat misleading. Also didn't find the watch... maybe it was a bug, pressed all the buttons and walked around every room 2-3 times. Graphics are good, though pixelated shader is hard for my eyes sometimes.
The game crashes within the first few minutes, but it looks cool in the screenshots.
An old cinema where changing the film reels might be a matter of life and death is a great setup! I love the little translucent ghosts and the film-strip title treatment. The projectionist job gives the old technology a really natural place in the premise.
It's a pretty funny game, it's a bit confusing. I though that the time on the paper was the time that I needed to insert the new tape, but it isn't, maybe that could've been communicated a little better. But overall, it is a pretty cool game!
the vibe is great, old cinema + ghosts + film reels is such a good fit for the theme, and the projection booth looks amazing. but yeah i also got lost on the timing, i thought the time on the paper was when i had to swap the reel and kept dying because of it. also had the game crap out on me once in the first few minutes. still, when it works it's really cool, just needs the rules to be a bit clearer
Thank you for the comments, yeah it seems we did not explain well how the time works. 😅 The watch is unlocked after you put the 3 first reels in the correct place. Then, you want to switch the new reels in the 30 minutes windows before the projection of the next movie. I hope this comment help any future player. We will try to add a second build on itch with better tutorial when we have time to do so.
The idea of working as a projectionist in a spooky, abandoned cinema is really compelling! Very cool:)

This is a great entry. I really enjoyed that. A jam game with graphics settings. Great atmosphere and good gameplay. Reading the pocket watch was a bit difficult.
An old cinema projectionist job with ghosts is a great fit for the theme, and the film reel setup looks really cool. Sounds like the timing rules could use a clearer explanation and the crashes need a fix, but the atmosphere is clearly there. Nice work!
Hey, @fwaeh @cometslush @div00 Would any of you be able to describe the circumstances under which you experienced a crash? We’ve run several rounds of testing, but unfortunately, we haven’t been able to reproduce any crashes on our end... Sorry about that.

Overall, it’s a pretty good game. The mechanics with the posters are fine, but the time pressure was really intense. Still, it’s possible to have a bit of fun playing it.
A really good idea, the time pressure is too intense (and I got a glitch with "human park" named "film" in the bank, I had some difficulty to find it). Otherwise I really like the idea !

Very nice visuals and vibes overall. I love that you guys went to the effort of actually making all these films haha! It was a little hard to understand what to do at first because I missed the clipboard, and the pixelation post process effect makes it a bit hard to read the diegetic text. Once the time starts though that pressure to figure out and find the right reel is intense
Really nice game! The idea with checking the posters is really nice. Also, it took me while to figure out who is the producer not Bom Bom xdd. I somehow managed to freeze the game at the end when I failed. When answering the phone I skipped all the text, as I have failed for second time, and when I skipped through everything the game froze instead of putting m into main menu.
I've noticed that the schedule and the missing reels are random when I start the new game. I feel like I've run into a soft lock from the get-go the first time I launched the game. I wasn't able to find the last reel, but the next run it was immediately there.
UPD. Okay, seems like you intentionally hide the 3rd scheduled reel from player, but I have no idea where to find or how to put smth instead of it. I've had 3 attempts and spent a lot of time figuring out how to play this game. I'm left frustrated, because I really like the background music, graphics and the entire vibe.
@artonix sorry for the frustration. For the third one, the name of the movie is not written on the reel directly. You need to first find the correct poster outside to find the theme and name of the director, that then will help you find the reel with the missing information.
@noah-mazard oh, ok, that's way too subtle for me, I'm not that clever 😠Thanks, actually. I made it to the next day. Though I ruined instantly lmao, timings there are really tight. I still like the concept and vibe overall!
