| Apr 20 03:27:50 | Lonely Crossway | ♥ 1 | Wow, super impressive for 12 hours! Nice atmosphere, felt a bit like backrooms. I got 26 traffic lights. And btw I accidentally learned about the "thing" ahead of time from the logs since I ran the game from a terminal 😝 | |
| Apr 20 04:05:59 | 38m 09s | FINDER-1 | ♥ 2 | Very atmospheric game but I completely suck at making out the shapes haha. I had to spam-click or use hints most of the time. The writing is really great, even though I'm pretty sure it's AI (which I don't mind). P.S. As others said, the Itch.io link doesn't work, but I was able to play the game full-screen by opening [this link](https://files.jam.host/embed/$425524/46790/index.html) (you can get it from inspect element). |
| Apr 20 04:34:14 | 28m 15s | Pulse | ♥ 1 | The graphics and the HUD are really pretty, and the enemy cloaking idea is interesting! I wonder what is sensor analysis (bottom right panel) for? Does it help you understand what kind of enemies are close by or their attack patterns? Here's my highscore 🙂 highscore.png |
| Apr 20 04:48:42 | 14m 28s | Radar Runnings | ♥ 2 | I read your devlog on Itch.io, interesting concept! I feel like a compass would be potentially useful, because I kept losing myself when trying to turn to the direction the radar briefly passed by. But I was still able to find both the nice green blob and the evil red blob (which promptly destroyed me) 😁 |
| Apr 20 05:03:15 | 14m 33s | Traffic Jam | ♥ 1 | Congrats on your first jam game! It wasn't immediately obvious that you're supposed to drag the yellow labels and not the lights themselves from the level, but once I figured that out I successfully managed to complete all the levels. Very impressive! 🙂 |
| Apr 20 21:42:10 | 16h 38m | NORTH-5 | ♥ 1 | Ohhh finally a game where my terminal skills come in handy! Love the idea, really satisfying to scan, move around the grid and hearing that crisp explosion sound after every `fire` command. One QoL addition I would request: make the numbers in the movement commands optional. If the number is ommitted, just move 1 cell in specified direction. Also would be nice if the game explicitly said that it's paused when you are viewing emails, because at first I rushed to read through them. Or you could split the game into runs and show emails between them. Really cool concept overall and I can see how it could be greatly expanded with new commands and enemies! |
| Apr 20 22:38:09 | 55m 59s | Deadly Cliffs | ♥ 3 | Really really well executed game! It sells the lighthouse fantasy pretty well; I enjoyed controlling the light with cranks and using the horn. A few difficulties I had: - I accidentally skipped some tutorial text (I didn't expect that clicking anywhere would skip it) and didn't realize that you need to press the start button. I tried at first to navigate the ship that was swimming in the bay and wondered why it didn't react 😅 - It's not entirely clear how to guide several ships at once, since they have different starting positions and speeds. It seems you always have to pick one and have all others crash, which is a bit unsatisfying. - The top floor gives a better view but is a bit pointless, since you can't access the radar, the mop and horn from there. Those are really nitpicks and didn't make the game any less enjoyable for me. Very polished game and super impressive for a 3-day jam! |
| Apr 20 23:04:31 | 26m 22s | Jammed! | ♥ 0 | Really nice art style and gameplay! It's harder to aim with a fixed turret, but somehow it (+ nice sound effects) makes hitting the enemies and the combat more satisfying. EMP bomb looks cool and helps a lot, even though it seems you could easily abstain from using it. Overall very impressive for 48 hours! I need a longer version of this game, because I only completed it in around 2 minutes on the first try 😄 |
| Apr 21 05:31:13 | 6h 26m | Signal Blast | ♥ 2 | This sucked me in for a good hour! What this game lacks in visuals, it more than makes up for with gameplay. I like the idea that every upgrade comes with a new enemy or increases the occurrence of existing ones - I haven't seen that in any survivor-like games before. Beacons as permanent upgrade paths are an interesting idea too. Great job making such a complete survivor-like in only 72 hours! |
| Apr 22 00:54:01 | 19h 22m | Lost Signal | ♥ 1 | Really cool platformer! Impressive how many platforming mechanics you managed to implement in just 72 hours. The grappling hook took a bit getting used to, but was fun to play with it once I figured it out! I managed to find the signal pretty quickly on my first run 🙂 Untitled.png |
| Apr 22 01:34:48 | 40m 47s | Funnel World | ♥ 2 | Aghh I was so close! I saw the !> reflection pretty early, but just didn't realize it was something special. I had to use @t-c's hints to get out of the room. Great job, very unusual game! And super impressive that you coded the engine + ray tracing yourself! |
| Apr 23 04:28:32 | 26h 53m | Signal Weave | ♥ 1 | Very fresh take on an idle game! Love it! |
| Apr 23 05:07:44 | 39m 12s | Small Among Storms | ♥ 3 | Really beautiful pixel art and quite an original idea of listening for danger! I didn't expect to get hit by lightning, what an unlucky squirrel 🥲 |
| Apr 23 05:54:56 | 47m 12s | Signal | ♥ 1 | Nice! I got all 4 endings. The game is a bit too dark at times, I had to randomly look to find the control panels for the dishes, but still it didn't take too long. Great job! |
| Apr 24 00:51:52 | 18h 56m | Kittenbaticorn | ♥ 1 | This is insanely impressive that you built a complete 2D voxel world with physics in a compo entry! I really loved the echolocation/frequency mechanics where different frequencies affect different blocks/enemies. The pixel art is beautiful and the Kittenbaticorn is super cute. One of my favorite compo games so far! |
| Apr 24 01:58:44 | 1h 06m | Stargazer | ♥ 0 | Really beautiful art, but unfortunately I too couldn't figure out how to use the dials - I didn't notice any change in volume of the static when turning them. However, I managed to brute-force it and got the poem! Obviously it's not the intended approach, but I still somewhat enjoyed it 😄 20260423_21h54m15s_grim.png |
| Apr 25 06:41:44 | 28h 43m | Crat | ♥ 1 | Loved the premise and the art style - funny and cute! The gameplay gets very intense very fast, which I think is good for this kind of game. The upgrade mechanics is nice (genius idea putting an upgrade for losing instantly). I got 37800. 🙂 20260425_02h34m50s_grim.png |
| Apr 25 06:59:07 | 17m 23s | Pheromone | ♥ 1 | Very cool puzzle idea! For some levels the solution was much simpler than it seemed at first (usually just going in a circle for a bit), which I like a lot in puzzle games! Beat all 10 levels. |
| Apr 25 19:09:58 | 12h 10m | I Had No Signal! | ♥ 1 | This was pretty intense even though I never saw the monster up close (I got killed on the first attempt, on the second I only saw it disappearing around a corner). I liked the knocked-over sign detail. The art style reminds me of old indie horror games in a really nostalgic way! It's very sweet seeing games developed by couples. Best of luck to you two! |
| Apr 25 20:03:34 | 53m 36s | Earth Assimilation Readiness Protocol | ♥ 1 | This took a few tries but I got the hang of it! Basically the entire game I was looking at signal readings at the bottom and ignoring any signals with "False Signal" of more than 40%, and whose activity/radiation level was dropping after a rescan. Several times I just used my gut. Not sure if it's the best strategy, but it worked for me 😅 Generally, I had quite a bit of fun once I got past the learning curve. Very well thought-out game, great job! Also I loved the art style and the music. 20260425_15h56m26s_grim.png |
| Apr 25 20:28:19 | 24m 45s | a Saunter | ♥ 1 | Creepy disappearing boy and very sus cabin aside, the game is genuinely incredibly chill - nice scenery, nature sounds and guitar music. The graphics reminded me of old N64 games, giving it a very nostalgic feel. I would've loved to spend more time in this world if there had been a few more things to do! |
| Apr 25 20:32:01 | 3m 42s | Incoming "Signal" | ♥ 0 | Sounds super interesting, would love to try it once it's available to play! |
| Apr 25 20:36:41 | 4m 40s | yAI presents Himari, the Beautiful Super Genius Artificial Intelligence | ♥ 1 | This looks soooo clever but unfortunately I don't use Signal. Any chance somebody recorded their playthrough? |
| Apr 25 20:52:22 | 15m 41s | There Were Signs | ♥ 1 | This was hilarious, I especially loved the sound effects 😆 Great job! |
| Apr 25 21:05:18 | 12m 56s | Fade | ♥ 1 | Very creative take on Tetris! This sucked me in for quite a bit. I managed to win even though I didn't realize it was possible (somehow missed the first paragraph in the description) 😆 20260425_17h02m03s_grim.png |
| Apr 25 21:26:23 | 21m 05s | Guiding Signal | ♥ 2 | This is the most beautiful game I have played in this jam so far! The gameplay mechanics is very nice, I liked navigating the ships with the towers. I think a fast-forward button would be really useful, since a lot of times I had to wait to see whether the new towers produce the desired effect. Also it's a bit hilarious that the ships just crash after selling the goods. Like, "thanks for making me money, I don't need you anymore, bye" 😆 |
| Apr 26 04:35:19 | 7h 08m | The Dark Spots in Space | ♥ 2 | This is seriously good. I got so invested that I spent 2-3 hours completing the entire game. I loved piecing together the story and cross-referencing the entries to figure out the words. Kind of reminded me of Outer Wilds! Here's my result: case closed.png I got all the words except this one. I tried everything I could think of - could you please tell me what word this is supposed be? 😅 difficult word.png Honestly, fantastic job, I don't think I've ever been this engrossed by a jam game. |
| Apr 26 15:30:29 | 10h 55m | HeliRescue | ♥ 1 | Simple but fun game, I enjoyed using the audio signal to locate people and reeling in several people at once. The pixel art is nice, I especially liked the helicopter sprite, but I noticed that the ocean/helicopter/people aren't quite pixel-consistent, which would've made it look even better! Overall very nice for a compo entry! |
| Apr 28 14:09:24 | 46h 38m | Without Brakes | ♥ 1 | I really liked the graphics! I don't mind the high difficulty, I like how straight to the point it is. 🙂 In Subway Surfers you'd have to play for 10-15 minutes for it to start actually getting challenging, which feels really stretched out to me. I think it'd be nice if you could also use arrows to switch lanes. Also please tell me I'm not the only one who sees an amogus 😭 |
| Apr 28 14:40:35 | 31m 11s | Kepler-186f | ♥ 0 | This seems like a really well-polished game, I love the simple art style, and the in-game tutorial texts are very welcome! It's really impressive for a compo entry. But unfortunately, I got stuck at the "Weapon" chapter, it's not clear what to do in an open area with the enemy (the one on the first screenshot). 😅 Also, the game is a bit too dark at times, the shadows are pitch black for me. Not sure if it's intended or just my monitor settings. |
| Apr 28 19:10:50 | 4h 30m | Yellow Submarine | ♥ 1 | Brilliant game and very unexpected ending, it really caught me off guard! I loved the graphics and the signal mechanics, even though I found myself hoarding them, since most areas can be completed comfortably without using them 😅 This is one of my favorite games of the jam, fantastic job! |
| Apr 28 19:45:01 | 34m 11s | Deep In Debt | ♥ 2 | This seems like a really well-made game, I love the premise and the graphics are really great. But unfortunately I had a few UX issues that prevented me from enjoying it properly. 1. Lack of fullscreen option, without which the game is too tiny and hard to see in the dark due to contrasting bright Ludum Dare website. 2. The game seems to have problems registering the WASD input. The movement was really weird for me as a result. Holding down W just moves me a little bit, so I had to spam it. Holding shift helps sometimes and allows me to hold W, but still is very unreliable. This prevented me from using the upgrade app as well, since it relies on W and S for scrolling. I was playing on Chromium on Linux if it's relevant. With these issues resolved I feel this would be one of my favorite games of the jam! |
| Apr 28 22:03:56 | 2h 18m | Deep Sea | ♥ 0 | This game sucked me in for more than an hour! While the pacing is a bit slow and, as others said, an increased speed would be better, I still really loved the atmosphere of dread and uncertainty as you go deeper, and I found the upgrade system well thought-out overall. Also loved how massive and detailed the level is, really impressive for a jam game! Some feedback: - A background music would immediately up the immersion! - I think that at least a small radius around the submarine should be always visible, because I often found myself staring at a black screen when trying to save energy, which is not the most fun thing! - It seems like player loses all progress on dying, which is very painful for a game with a big time investment such as this one. I recommend letting the player respawn instead. One of my favorite games from this jam, great job! deep_sea_you_win.png |
| Apr 29 04:23:50 | 6h 19m | Signal Strength | ♥ 0 | Quite a chill game, I liked walking in the forest and searching towers 🙂 |
| Apr 29 04:46:31 | 22m 41s | Trainline | ♥ 1 | This is a seriously impressive demo for a 3-day jam! Did I understand correctly that you used your own C++ engine? |
| Apr 30 05:19:30 | 24h 32m | Planet Defender | ♥ 1 | I love the take on the theme, quite original! Though I feel like the difficulty ramps up a bit too quickly. 😅 |
| Apr 30 05:49:45 | 30m 15s | Solar Signals | ♥ 1 | Cool idler game idea! Liked the graphics, though I wish the game ran in a bigger window 🙂 solar-signals.png |
| May 1 00:17:58 | 18h 28m | The Depths Listen | ♥ 1 | This is insanely good and well-polished. I loved the intense atmosphere and the puzzles. I was especially impressed by the extremely well-made level and the art style, but I noticed you opted-out of the graphics category, so I assume the level was made before the jam or by somebody else? Either way, great job! |
| May 2 05:21:07 | 29h 03m | Cell Clicker | ♥ 1 | I love the idea of cell signals as a theme, this seems like a very cool educational concept! But unfortunately the game feels unbalanced. It took a few speedrun attempts to get 10000 to buy the VEGF formula, and by the time I got it I was already overwhelmed with red (what I assume cancer) cells, while the VEGF signal itself only eliminates a small area. Also I didn't immediately realize that you had to actually drag the groups to craft the signal, which I found a bit tedious - I suggest switching it to autocrafting. I feel like with some balancing and UX polish this would be a really cool idler! |
| May 2 05:49:36 | 28m 29s | Last Brain Cell | ♥ 1 | This is hilarious. For full immersion, I recommend playing it at 2:00 AM like I did 😆 |
| May 5 14:31:40 | 80h 42m | Tamarid Mission | ♥ 1 | I love the concept and it's so cool that you made the voiceovers! But unfortunately, already at the 2nd recording I got stuck? I set the correct altitude and azimuth, but the satellite doesn't get targeted. It says "Aprox.", so I tried changing the numbers a little in both directions, but didn't have any luck. Not really sure what to do apart from trying to bruteforce it, which would be very tedious. 20260505_10h25m34s_grim.png |
| May 6 00:06:17 | 9h 34m | The Last Transmition | ♥ 1 | Really cool idea with matching the waves! The art is great, though I'm also curious if it's entirely human made or not. My score is 690. |
| May 6 19:31:09 | 19h 24m | Snowstorm | ♥ 1 | Nice and simple game! I like the atmosphere. A pixel-consistent art would've made it feel even more polished. I managed to get to the last tower without firing a single shot by evading spiders :-) Overall really impressive for a 36-hour game! |
| May 7 16:18:39 | 20h 47m | Green & Yellow & Red | ♥ 1 | Really cool puzzle platformer concept! I liked traffic lights mechanic, the memorization level with same-colored green platforms, and time rewinding with blue light. One thing I that believe would immediately improve the game look is if background had some slight texture. I understand though that you were mostly focused on gameplay during the 48 hours. Either way, congrats on your first jam game, this is super impressive! I got 05:00:46, not sure if it's better or worse than the other commenters 🙂 20260507_11h38m59s_grim.png |
