A long journey with nothing in it. It was promising in the beginning, but it's a pity that there wasn't enough time for more.

A long journey with nothing in it. It was promising in the beginning, but it's a pity that there wasn't enough time for more.
I like the themeing and mood. Having environments like the ruins is cool. Maybe the Upgrades could be more meaningful/have a bigger impact. Also found the default move speed to be a bit slow even when upgraded. I also think the radar would be better if it didnt have the low res overlay. The Sound effects are fitting but a volume slider would be nice.
Ass a Barotrauma fan i must say the game is deeeep. I would sugest puting sonar audio on space, amd make sonar disapirent ass it vanishes. Love horror creatures :)
Cool game. I wish sonar works automaticaly.
sounds are annoying a little bit
Wow! It's a very fun and meditative game... I was thinking until the octopus appeared... Thanks for the great game!
This was great! I loved the whole vibe of the game and the mechanics come together really nicely. Good work on this one!
Very atmospheric and moody! I enjoyed it quite a bit! Only suggestion would be to bump up the starting move speed and have the upgrades scale the move speed quicker
Excellent, high-quality work. I had a blast diving to the bottom in search of spare parts, especially when the sun's rays stopped penetrating the ocean depths. I felt truly immersed. And when the ocean changed color, I was amazed by the quality of the detailing. I never quite reached the bottom.
Very nice game! Good job.
The game definitely has its own atmosphere, even a little creepy thanks to the sounds, which is a plus. But honestly, I gave up after realizing how time-consuming it could be; I'm not ready to spend that much time on a jam game. I upgraded the submarine's speed to 8, but it was still very slow. It says +5% speed, but in reality, it's not – just a static +0.02. Perhaps if the percentage of the current value worked, the speed would be acceptable, but I'm not sure. Overall, the implementation is cool, but it lacks a bit of balance.
Wow! There was more to find down there than I expected :D I even foudn the sipwreck, but didnt make it back up. Congratz on making such a nice game! The thrill of losing energy and hoping youll make it back up is very fun ^^
Super fun, and very creepy!
Really nice vibes and atmosphere!! I like how you captured the feeling of pitch black at the bottom of the ocean. The speed was painfully slow however. I wish it was easier to upgrade so there wasn't as much downtime between segments of interesting gameplay. Great job!
Very spooky, love the ambiance! There's a section of the deeper ocean where some of the rocks are lighter colored, which gives the impression that they're in the background (where in reality they are on the same layer as the other walls. Otherwise, well done! :confetti_ball:
Really scary, nice)
Great game, I liked the progression system. But at first, I had a really hard time finding my way around in the dark, but I gradually got used to pressing the spacebar. Good level design, I liked it, but in my opinion, the submarine's speed is too slow. And the upgrades actually don't do much.
Cool game, I loved it!
It's an interesting idea, but I think the implementation is too rough. I also don't see any reason not to make the radar automatic.
Loved the color scheme!
This game sucked me in for more than an hour! While the pacing is a bit slow and, as others said, an increased speed would be better, I still really loved the atmosphere of dread and uncertainty as you go deeper, and I found the upgrade system well thought-out overall. Also loved how massive and detailed the level is, really impressive for a jam game! Some feedback:
- A background music would immediately up the immersion! - I think that at least a small radius around the submarine should be always visible, because I often found myself staring at a black screen when trying to save energy, which is not the most fun thing! - It seems like player loses all progress on dying, which is very painful for a game with a big time investment such as this one. I recommend letting the player respawn instead.
One of my favorite games from this jam, great job!
