The water effect is very well done!cool!
Great game! I like the simplicity of execution combined with the need for logical thinking. 5/5
Cruiser in my bay - that was awesome!
The game looks gorgeous, and the mechanics are super satisfying)
Hopefully, those signals won't bring any Vikings to pillage my trade routes :D
Liked it, excellent work!
cool style and cool idea !
Really fun game with stunning graphics! I only lost 271 ships on the way.
I don't know if this was the intended way, but on the last level, I just farmed up 100+ money (while bringing some food), and didn't need to use the 2nd set of fishing hut and market.
Overall, very high quality game, good job on this entry!
Nice graphics and fun idea! Kinda feels like a reverse tower defense game where you have to make your own path. Took me a while to understand that the boat only has to be in the signal for a little bit to go in a direction and not the whole time. At first it felt a little too difficult because my boats kept going into the towers. Feels very polished for a 3 day game!
The game was really fun; I enjoyed playing it.
The level of graphics is really impressive.
The idea is simple and clear:) Thanks
Amazing game! Beautiful graphics, very interesting and engaging gameplay! That's really, really cool and polished game!
Pretty cool! But I got stuck because I could not figure out how to build a tower.
@mezaka You have to press the build button on the botom of the screen. Then place it somewhere valid with left click :-)
@kevin-meissner Ah I actually meant destroying a tower. I misplaced one and then could neither finish nor restart the mission.
Amazing art, gameplay also engaging, liked it!
Graphics, idea is awesome. Very fun game
What a cute game! Everything here works together so well: the art style is charming and visually appealing; the sea wave soundscape is calming, and the particle effects in the tower areas of effect are cool. It's such a great little gameplay loop, leaving signals and watching your little ships go... the only thing I wanted was maybe a way to fast-forward ahead when I finally have my setup that I like.
Really fun stuff!
Great mechanism and picture, I have always liked the sea!
Wow! Game looks incredible. I have a soft spot for this type of games. And I like ships! Awesome job, incredible visuals, nice sound and fun gameplay!
Excellent job on the water, I never get it to look that good. Nice amount of gameplay created for 72hrs and the graphics look great too, nice work was fun to play!
Oh, you guys did a lot of work. The game looks very interesting, and the graphics are really beautiful.
Love the gameplay! And making a 3D game in sucha short time is not an easy thing, great job everyone!
This is a very, very good looking game that is very on theme! Though, the gameplay left me a little yearning.
-I felt like I had to wait far too long to progress once I'd got the ships to make me money, also nothing was stopping me from just sitting in the first portion making money to save up for the rest of the level, which got quite tiresome.
-It was odd to me that I had to essentially sacrifice the ships for an eventual solve, meaning each level had more than one solution for each level, which I believe was probably the intention, but it didn't sit well that I had to change my layout for every part of the level.
-The ambience was well done, I was very relaxed the whole time, though there was some inconsistency in when some sounds where occurring, and not all of the boat crashes made sounds.
-A simple looping ambient music track would have gone very hard here
I like the concept a lot, but feel it could have been designed in a way to where my solution to the first area helped get me to the next area, rather than just make me money, delete all my stuff, then go again (which is how it felt from the third level). Lots of potential here! Crazy graphics for a jam setting
Love the concept, the art direction, and the VFX are fantastic! Quality concept that can easily be expanded upon and turned into a project I'd get in a heartbeat personally! Good job team!
Very cool graphics. Love puzzle part of the gameplay.
@jynxaudio thanks alot for the detailed feedback! we definitely had a talk about some of yours points but lacked the time in the end to polish the gameplay loop to where we wanted it to be.
I'm a big fan of ocean settings, so I loved this. The puzzles are clever and really made me think. I honestly think the game is great as it is
Such a great vibe! Great use of 3D for the ocean environment, and the ambient SFX are lovely. It was a really relaxing environment to solve puzzles in. I liked the signal mechanic too! It made for some interesting routing puzzles, especially when different directions overlap.
I did find a few levels a bit directionless, especially the larger ones. The money mechanic is very cool in that it makes you add detours to your route, but because you keep the money after ships crash it means you can just send them into a market for a while, build up a bunch of money, then delete that route and finish the level, which isn't very satisfying. I also found myself wanting a bit more nuance in the ship movement - right now the signal towers force them into cardinal directions even if the ships barely touch them, but I feel like the ships should maintain whatever angle they had coming out of the signal. That would allow for more interesting routing!
Overall, super cozy spatial puzzler. I liked it a lot.
Nice game but my computer is very bad(
Very nice gameplay and overall picture. Especially water, love it. Great job!
Nice work!!! And cool idea.
astonishing graphics!
Outstanding visuals! The realistic yet cute aesthetic is really charming, and the terrain design is great. It’s hard to believe you pulled off this much quality and scope in such a short time.
This is the most beautiful game I have played in this jam so far! The gameplay mechanics is very nice, I liked navigating the ships with the towers. I think a fast-forward button would be really useful, since a lot of times I had to wait to see whether the new towers produce the desired effect. Also it's a bit hilarious that the ships just crash after selling the goods. Like, "thanks for making me money, I don't need you anymore, bye"
Fun and easy to play, great for downtime.
Beautiful cozy atmosphere! Redirecting the ships with signal towers is a fun idea
smart mechanics, amazing visuals
Nice Shaders
Wow it's one of the best looking game at jam this year. very nice idea and overall game
Like many people already said it: Very nice graphics! The overall style of the game is very good. :)
Having a way of speeding up the time would be a nice addition for me. But maybe it would change the mood of the game too much, which is very relaxing and nice.
The placing of the towers and the behavior of the ships are well designed. I really like that the ships are exploding. :D
How did you make such a game in 72 hours? =) Graphic is awesome
Great concept, beautiful visuals, but like some others said it could definitely use some QoL stuff - a way to accelerate the ships/time - the ability to move the towers without having to refund them - some more level design work so you don't have to destroy and rebuild everything once you have money, maybe just some of the towers?
overall it def has some potential for a fun puzzle game
graphics are stupid pretty but waiting for ships to slowly sail got old real bad need a fast forward button yesterday
Up until now this is my favorite game of this jam, incredible work in this short time frame.
