| Apr 26 16:52:43 | Geocnetric Go! | ♥ 1 | Fun idea! I enjoyed it. The graphics are clean and colourful. The music is quickly repetitive but it's ok. I think the "How to play" button could be more visible, I missed it first and spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to do. Also the difficulty is a bit too high for me, I keep dying very quickly. | |
| Apr 26 17:04:09 | 11m 26s | Deeper Into Technical Problems | ♥ 1 | Really nice gameplay ideas, it works pretty well! I reached depth 150. Graphics are basic, but it's readable. The music is cool, though I guess it was not done by you (as you disabled it in your ratings). |
| Apr 26 17:27:07 | 22m 58s | Deeper Descent | ♥ 1 | I share the opinion of @morphine. I spent some time on this game but I don't have hours in front of me to be able to judge it well. The initial idea looks interesting though. During the time I played, I found it pretty difficult to understand overall, though it was fun to explore all the parts of the game :) That's an impressive amount of work in any case! I'm interested to see where it could go in the future. My intuition told me it was surely using some new "live" techno like Hotwire or Phoenix LiveView so I checked the code and I was right about Hotwire ^^ Nice to see it used for games like that |
| Apr 26 17:45:55 | 18m 48s | Sub_Mission | ♥ 1 | Very nice game overall, it was fun exploring and it fits the theme very nicely! Maybe a bit more animals rather than static plants would have been even more interesting? (or something more than just the name of the species) I ended up dying in front of a giant fish. Coming back and forth to the repair shop was a bit long so I was too tired to do it again for my last improvement for the hull. The sound of the engine was very low. It would have to have a better "underwater atmosphere" from the sound. The visuals works well though :) |
| Apr 26 17:46:43 | 48s | Deep Focus | ♥ 1 | The link for the Linux version is broken for me :( |
| Apr 26 17:54:05 | 7m 22s | Sea of Lies | ♥ 1 | Excellent! Very fun idea! The most difficult part was dodging the enemies while also trying to read what they say ^^ Very nice music also! |
| Apr 27 10:43:17 | 16h 49m | Past the Final Frontier | ♥ 1 | Interesting game :) I liked the CRT effect although the mission details were a bit hard to read because of that. I already had trouble understanding what I had to do so it didn't help. But overall I really enjoyed the mood of the game. The music fits perfectly. |
| Apr 27 10:57:20 | 14m 03s | grGRIDid | ♥ 2 | Very cool concept, excellent atmosphere and nice polished graphics. I wish I could have moved continuously instead of pressing the key for each move. Great entry overall! |
| Apr 27 11:10:28 | 13m 08s | Adventurer of the deep | ♥ 0 | Interesting game! I like the variety of features: the 3 shops in the village and the exploration part. It looks very complete for a jam game. I really liked the music and the overall atmosphere. The graphics are also clean, though I'm not a big fan of the very angular traits. Sadly I could not go very far as I kept dying very quickly every time, because of the octopus, with no way of avoiding it or defending myself. Also I could not find how to collect the jewels. If it was clearer and more balanced, I think it could be really fun! |
| Apr 27 14:57:34 | 3h 47m | Treasures Of The Depths | ♥ 1 | Relaxing, well polished game! I like the concept. I wish there was a bit more challenge or more things to do/discover. I felt really too easy and I lost interest very quickly. |
| Apr 27 15:10:36 | 13m 02s | Deep Voice | ♥ 1 | Funny interpretation of the theme! Doing this Oooom sound for so long, I feel like I have reached a new state of meditation ahah. The graphics are interesting and I like the animation of the birds (not sure about that winged lion though...). I wish it was not limited to keeping the lowest voice possible all the time though. I thought I'd have to control my pitch to move up and down and avoid obstacles, which would have been less repetitive. Anyway, nice game! |
| Apr 27 15:20:02 | 9m 26s | Flood Fill Miner | ♥ 1 | Interesting idea. Like others said it's quite satisfying to clear out large chunks of squares. With more feedback (sound, animation, make the points gained more visible?) it would be even better I think. I think I've understood how the game work, but it could be a bit clearer I think. |
| Apr 27 16:53:30 | 1h 33m | Just Fishin' | ♥ 1 | This game was way too fun and addictive. I ended up as the puppy king, just watching them all bring food to me and I didn't expect that π I liked: the music, the progression system, the fluid animations, the useless bonus like clothes and the crown Minor drawbacks: the movements were a bit laggy after some time. Also, I'm not sure how it fits the theme. But great game overall! |
| Apr 27 17:06:43 | 13m 13s | Rogue Elevator | ♥ 1 | I don't really like FPS, but I recognize that it's really good job for a 48h game. I kept dying too quickly to really see what's after the first level, but what I've seen looks pretty cool! It took me several minutes to realize I was on a platform going down, I wish it was more obvious and more part of the gameplay. Good job |
| Apr 27 17:15:32 | 8m 49s | Deep-fry Deeper | ♥ 2 | Fun game and very well polished graphics and sounds :) It made me very hungry. Also made me discover the existence of FILLED CHURROS?! I need this in my life. |
| Apr 28 17:39:13 | 24h 23m | the truth in the darkness | ♥ 1 | Great mood! I liked the narration happening continuously while progressing, and the overall atmosphere (thanks to the music and graphical effect). I found the graphics are a bit too simple, and the ending was very *clichΓ©*. The idea of having triple/quadruple jumps was interesting, but not very challenging in the end. Good job! |
| Apr 28 17:49:29 | 10m 16s | Dive In The Cellar | ♥ 0 | No download link? |
| Apr 28 18:02:28 | 12m 59s | Pearl Diver | ♥ 1 | Nice game! I enjoyed the light atmosphere, the colourful graphics and the music too! I also liked the variety of animals underwater. I wish the number of collected diamonds was displayed, at first I wasn't sure if I had collected them or if I had done something wrong. I think the impulsion when you're hit by an "enemy" is a bit too much as well, I ended up dying because I was propelled to an urchin nearby and I had no way to avoid it. |
| Apr 28 18:22:47 | 20m 19s | Aquarial | ♥ 3 | I absolutely loved the atmosphere and universe of this game! Never thought playing a fish could feel so good :) Really nice graphics and it feels very polished and dynamic for jam game, with lots of things to do. Congrats! On the things that could be better: the camera sensitivity was too high, it was hard to navigate because of that. In particular, I stopped at the rings race because of that :/ |
| Apr 29 17:07:24 | 22h 44m | Celestial Corruption | ♥ 1 | Fun little shoot em up! I liked the diversity of enemies, as well as their design. It is quite frustrating to not have any sound or feedback when hitting them though. Also the purple bullets at the end were pretty hard to see on the dark background. It's nice to have a story told while playing! however it's almost impossible to play and read at the same time, so I missed half of it. |
| Apr 29 17:19:42 | 12m 18s | Exiled | ♥ 1 | Interesting game. I enjoyed the cute black and white graphics. The music is also quite good and really sets a strong mood to the game, though it is a bit short. I also liked the story told with the little dialogues. I wish it was longer, the ending is a bit frustrating. I wondered if there was a way to get out of the loop, but it seems there isn't. |
| Apr 29 17:37:24 | 17m 42s | Somewhere Below | ♥ 1 | The gameplay of this game is pretty classic. However, I found the visual style extremely interesting! The atmosphere of the game is really good, the first monster I saw really scared me a little! I'm not sure there was an ending, I kept dying at the green tents full of enemies so I stopped. But really nice entry overall! |
| Apr 29 17:52:02 | 14m 38s | Corla | ♥ 2 | Very innovative gameplay. I like that there are a lot of different powerups, though I found it a bit confusing at times because there were so many to remember. It felt a bit too hard to pass behind most enemies to get the money I needed for further powerups. Maybe I'm just bad at this π Really nice music too! |
| Apr 29 18:07:04 | 15m 02s | Delitor | ♥ 1 | Pretty cool gameplay, it's very interesting and it fits the theme well. It would be interesting to develop the idea further. There are many things that could be improved: the graphics are too basic, the music is extremely repetitive, the hitbox of the triangles is a bit too large, and there's no way to know when you're going to fall in the lava or not. It took me some time to realize I could jump too. The arrows worked so I used that to move, but neither up nor space worked for jumping. I had to come back here to realize jumping was possible. Nice game though. |
| Apr 30 17:47:37 | 23h 40m | Where are you? | ♥ 1 | Nice platformer with a few puzzle mechanics! It was quite fun, though I abandoned at the 4th level because the difficulty was too high for me. Also, thanks for adding the option to change the controls, it helped reduce the difficulty for me ^^ I really liked the few cut scenes with the girls, they were really funny! |
| Apr 30 18:07:05 | 19m 28s | Singularity Dive | ♥ 4 | Well, that one huge team that you have! I wonder how you managed to split the work between 12 different people. I enjoyed the game. I liked the visuals, this blackhole looks really cool and the UI looks nice too. The music fits really well. It was a bit hard at first but after some time it became easier to evaluate the distances and dodge the obstacles. Talking of obstacles, I liked that bus π The few sounds were nice though I wish there were more. There were a few issues though. I don't know if my computer has a problem, but the game lagged a lot (though it should definitely be able to run a game like that). Also, there's a lack of explanations. I had no idea what I had to do and what were the controls. I would recommend to put them in the description here and on itch.io at least. There is also a very long period during which nothing happens, before the obstacles arrive and the score starts increasing. Again, I'm not sure if it is normal or if my computer took a lot of time loading something, but it was frustrating to press all the keys and see nothing happening, and have no signal to tell me it's going to start. |
| May 1 07:47:52 | 13h 40m | Book of the Dread | ♥ 2 | Really good writing and atmosphere. It looks good pretty well polished for a jam game. The acting in the voice recordings are also quite good. I've done a few horror games so I could survive it, but I stopped pretty quickly as the game seemed to rely only on those sudden screaming sounds to scare the player. While they worked, I found them quickly irritating, I think it's a cheap technique that can be used once but not all the time. I also spent a lot of time running in circles without finding any pages, so I got bored after some time. But good work overall! |
| May 1 08:00:42 | 12m 50s | tetronimo! | ♥ 0 | Nice idea. It was quite fun, and the graphics are simple but with a nice aesthetic. As others have mentioned, the controls were a bit too sensitive. I kept dying only because the block moved by two steps when I only wanted to do one. I'd rather have to press the button twice if I want to move twice, or add a longer delay before it keeps moving. |
| May 1 11:12:49 | 3h 12m | Street Spark Racing | ♥ 1 | Really funny game, I liked the dialogues and that car being lowered to an absurd level π Graphics looks neat too. Gameplay-wise, it's interesting, though it was quite hard to get used to the controls. I kept thinking that the direction in which I was walking would be the direction of the push, having to set the direction with the mouse additionally felt a bit unintuitive. Except that, it was quite fun! |
| May 1 11:22:14 | 9m 25s | Deep Diver! | ♥ 1 | Interesting gameplay, it fits the theme really well! I liked the cute graphics too. It was quite fun as well, I managed to reach 1284m. Sometimes I got stuck in rocks, or it wasn't clear why I couldn't move down although I still had hearts. The arrows that go up could also be more visible (there's not much contrast with the dark blue water). Otherwise, pretty good game! |
| May 1 11:36:00 | 13m 46s | Force, Fall, Run, | ♥ 1 | I didn't expect to game to tell a story and it was a nice surprise. Very touching. The gameplay is basic, but effective, and it allows to focus on the narration. I wish there were more sounds (it's a bit too calm). The fact that the runner is outside the screen in the title screen and the parts between races is confusing (I thought the numbers to choose the runner didn't do anything, and I didn't understand immediately that I had to run already). But otherwise interesting game. |
| May 1 11:42:52 | 6m 52s | Backwards Quest | ♥ 1 | Funny concept, too bad you couldn't go further with that idea, I got really interested by that intro. The boss fight was a bit too simple for me, but it was well done anyway. |
| May 1 11:57:24 | 14m 32s | Descent into Midnight Trench | ♥ 1 | I liked the harpoon physics though I never had to use it. Overall the game is pretty clean, the graphics are cute, but the fact that I could win while not touching any key for the whole 500m made it rather boring to me :( With a bit more challenge it could quickly become much more interesting. |
| May 2 10:45:52 | 22h 48m | Cleaning Diver | ♥ 1 | Absolutely gorgeous game, probably the prettiest compo game I've played so far. The music is good too, and the two combined give a really great relaxing mood! Congrats. I stopped after the 6th barrel, after that it was a bit too repetitive to make me want to continue. A bit more diversity in the environment would be nice. The controls felt a bit unresponsive at times too. I think it's because I clicked on rocks without realizing. It would probably feel better if I could click anywhere, just to give the direction even if I end up colliding with something. Except those few details, great entry! |
| May 2 11:50:15 | 1h 04m | A Quest for Cheese | ♥ 2 | Very nice game, it was fun! I liked the graphics and the audio. I loved the audio comment "Sorry aliens, but your cheese is on another planet", it made me smile. The only problem I got was that when going down, the spaceship stays close to the bottom of the screen, so I cannot see obstacles arriving, the camera should make sure I can see things in the direction in which I'm going. Good job! |
| May 2 15:36:05 | 3h 45m | > Retrieve Legs | ♥ 1 | Nice mechanics! It took me a while to control them but it was fun. I liked the graphics too, they are well polished. The music is quite nice too though a bit repetitive. Very good job overall! |
| May 3 18:32:04 | 26h 55m | FishyFish | ♥ 1 | I was looking for a simple game to try today as I was very tired and this was perfect! The game is really easy but very relaxing. The music is great and helps set this relaxing mood. The graphics are simple but clean and colourful, I liked them. My only "complaint" is that with the camera zooming out, I didn't really get that feeling of going deeper, it felt like I stayed close to the surface all the time. Otherwise, good job! |
| May 4 18:08:08 | 23h 36m | into the light | ♥ 0 | Me neither, I could just move left and right, then I saw a bunch of red ghosts, but I couldn't do anything. Could you please provide the controls and the objective? Or is it limited to moving the character left and right? |
| May 4 18:09:45 | 1m 37s | Digging Deeper | ♥ 0 | The "Download" section says there is a Linux version, but when I download the only available zip, it's a .exe |
| May 4 18:39:58 | 30m 13s | The Key | ♥ 3 | I found the key and I am now happy. Thank you. Very weird game with the ugliest graphics ever, but... somehow I was never bored and laughed a few times? The voice acting joke made me laugh (the first time at least). The music was quite good. And there's a whole psychedelic mood that ended up being interesting. I can't say the gameplay was really fun though. |
| May 6 17:19:43 | 46h 39m | Gombo's Deep Cart Dart | ♥ 0 | The game felt a bit empty but overall quite pretty. Unfortunately it felt extremely long before the first obstacles arrived, and once they arrived the difficulty level is suddenly very high, so I could not go far. |
| May 6 17:29:31 | 9m 48s | Leaper and Sheeper | ♥ 0 | It took me a lot of time to understand what I had to do and what the controls were doing. I'm not sure if this is on purpose, I have there was a few explanations. Once I understood it was a quite interesting puzzle game, but way too short. Nice job anyway. |
| May 7 18:26:07 | 24h 56m | Titan Abyss | ♥ 1 | Not much to do in this game, but I didn't get bored thanks to the overall great mood! The music is and graphics are really nice. Good job. |
| May 7 18:31:34 | 5m 27s | Survive in the deep | ♥ 1 | Good job. I won after shooting the fish many times, I guess that was the objective? That wasn't very clear. Too bad that there wasn't sound, it could help a lot with the mood and also to provide feedback (like knowing that the fish was touched by your bullets). The graphics are simple but nice. I like the visual effects (the water effect on the title screen and the lighting) though they are a bit too heavy. |
| May 8 11:58:23 | 17h 26m | Where's grandpa? | ♥ 1 | Nice puzzle game, I wish there were more of them :) I really like the art style and the music. I got stuck in the second room, I didn't really understand what happened with the coffee machine, I ran out of cups and could not do anything after π€ I wish I could have seen the ending. But otherwise it was fun! |
| May 8 12:10:06 | 11m 43s | Hellevator Operator | ♥ 2 | Excellent game, very well polished! I liked the overall mood of the game. It felt really easy in the beginning but it became more and more challenging towards the end while never being too difficult. It was fun π Also loved that ending π Great job! |
| May 8 17:28:25 | 5h 18m | Sporelunk | ♥ 1 | Fantastic game, I loved everything. The animations are great, the sounds / music are great (I especially liked how it evolves to become more and more horrific). The gameplay is nice and original and fits the theme well. I almost missed the more creepy parts, thinking it was only about the first 3 types of blocks. Fortunately I persevered and went deeper. A few (tiny) things to improve: - the two types of rocks are very similar and at first I didn't realize that one of them could be broken, since it didn't work for the first type of rock. - sometimes the character didn't turn in the direction I wanted to dig, I guess because I was too close to the block and it turns only when it can walk. But I'm nitpicking. Awesome job! |
| May 8 17:53:20 | 24m 55s | The Elevator | ♥ 1 | I was interested to play that game because it seemed to share some similarities with my game: an elevator going down and lots of dialogues. In the end they're very different but it was a pleasant surprise! I loved the graphics, in particular the elevator girl looks really nice! The music is also great. Overall the mood was fantastic. The dialogues were fun and good enough to keep me interested until the end. Good job! |
| May 13 11:53:24 | 114h 00m | The Red Crystal | ♥ 2 | I loved the atmosphere of this game! It's dark and mysterious but it didn't feel too scary / horrific, which I liked. It was a bit short but I enjoyed the narration, the sounds and graphics. |
| May 13 12:08:10 | 14m 46s | Evolve or Die | ♥ 0 | Very fun concept! I liked the idea and the number of options, though as others said I wish it was possible to remove a part from the fish (for practical reasons but also for the pleasure of having a pretty fish and not something with parts that are not even attached to each other). It was also a bit hard to understand what was happening during the simulation. But overall, really nice work! |
| May 13 13:17:17 | 1h 09m | Dwarven Delver | ♥ 1 | Nice game. I liked the graphics, especially the few animations. The music was nice too. It was a bit too simple though, at some point I could just press "down" in repeat and it just worked. But well done overall. |
| May 16 17:06:59 | 75h 49m | Into The Deep | ♥ 1 | I liked the art style, very well polished. The few sounds are pretty nice too though I think there could be more of them and they could be louder. I bought oxygen first and I got stuck pretty quickly as I couldn't go past the dark zone (tried several times, hoping I would pass by luck, but I failed every time :( ). Pretty nice game overall. |
