| Oct 6 16:53:42 | Smells Like Chlorine | ♥ 2 | Well done execution of the concept, I wasn't ready for that ending. My only critique would be that this is a game that would benefit from a slower walk speed, I felt like the Janitor was running all over the place which towards the end makes sense, but in the beginning feels very opposed to the character y'all wrote. Excellent submission! | |
| Oct 6 16:55:45 | 2m 03s | Eternal void | ♥ 1 | The graphics are killer, I never thought my potato could do real time Ray-Tracing at playable framerates. |
| Oct 6 17:15:26 | 19m 41s | Loopbot | ♥ 1 | Very cool idea! I think a good QOL feature would be to cancel recording and start over if you make a mistake in your take. having to wait the whole 8 bars when you mess up the first hit is rather annoying especially at the harder levels where precision is key. I imagine it would be complex to do but if you ever expanded on the prototype, Quantization would really sell the 'rhythm game' vibe on play, so the drums would always be a relative match to the music and not a jumbled mess from my objectively out-of-time fingers. |
| Oct 6 17:24:07 | 8m 41s | GIANT Sushi Party! | ♥ 3 | Love the art style. The animation when you give old sushi had me in stitches! |
| Oct 6 17:28:04 | 3m 57s | Space Drummer | ♥ 2 | What a satisfying Shmup |
| Oct 6 17:32:48 | 4m 44s | Office Havoc | ♥ 2 | username: root // password: root ... Great concept, the difficulty spike was immense. |
| Oct 6 17:41:19 | 8m 31s | TIME TO DANCE! | ♥ 3 | Such a fantastic idea- are the user dances actually stored in a database? If so, that's really amazing. |
| Oct 6 17:55:43 | 14m 24s | Ribbon | ♥ 2 | This is easily my favorite prototype so far, and would love to see more levels! The aesthetic is great and the concept/controls are still pretty intuitive once you get going. |
| Oct 6 17:59:41 | 3m 58s | Looping for lööps | ♥ 2 | Oof, that's hard. The cat is so adorable, and the level manipulation was really neat, if a little esoteric. |
| Oct 6 18:13:16 | 13m 35s | Demon Watch | ♥ 1 | Interesting puzzles. I do wish there was a button to speed up text, especially after a few loops of repeated dialogue. |
| Oct 6 18:19:38 | 6m 22s | L.O.S.S. - Looped Orbital Space Shooter | ♥ 3 | The boost sound had me dying- I did a similar thing for the engine sound effects in our game. Very neat idea, would have been cool to see some representation of a planet below that gets smaller as you progress for a sense of scale. |
| Oct 6 18:30:19 | 10m 41s | PoopLoop | ♥ 1 | The concept is hilarious. The loop bit is kind of a stretch but the game is still fun. There seems to be a general limit of how many bunnies are feasible for the amount of towers you're able to get- so it seems like there's a wall for how long any game can last regardless how efficient you are at scoopin' poop. |
| Oct 6 18:37:10 | 6m 51s | The Holy L∞ptown | ♥ 3 | I was very confused most of my play-through, and couldn't find two of the items. Some basic instructions on controls and what is happening with the UI would have been helpful. |
| Oct 6 18:47:13 | 10m 03s | Threaded Loop | ♥ 0 | Really great art style. I wish there was more conveyance of the rules, it never felt like I truly understood what was happening at any given point. |
| Oct 6 18:54:49 | 7m 36s | DejaVu | ♥ 2 | Very tough, but neat concept. The camera was a little jarring, especially when trying to make precise jumps. |
| Oct 6 18:58:55 | 4m 06s | OOO | ♥ 2 | Super polished, the art is great. Lots of content packed into a jam game! |
| Oct 6 19:04:13 | 5m 18s | Lucy Liuper (~DreamLooper) | ♥ 0 | I couldn't tell if the 'past selves' were supposed to move, or what exactly the puzzle was. I ended up just wall-jumping into bed on accident. |
| Oct 6 19:11:00 | 6m 47s | Petri Dish | ♥ 1 | Interesting idea. I have no idea really how to influence the 'battles' to maintain populations, it seems almost random but there has to be some strategy to it... I would have really liked an 'eraser' function! |
| Oct 6 19:20:14 | 9m 14s | Light footsteps after the rain | ♥ 1 | Beautiful photography. The synthesized voices were particularly unnerving. I think you could take this aesthetic and turn it into a really interesting point/click adventure game. |
| Oct 6 19:37:48 | 17m 34s | Hyperloop | ♥ 1 | Polished, well scoped game. Some possible things you could iterate on: a clear hit-box for the player (The hitbox was very forgiving but having a visual indicator of bounds would be nice), and maybe finding a way for the obstacles to sync with the beat of the music (the screen shake when you passed a gate was so satisfying that i wanted the bass drum to hit at the same time) |
| Oct 6 19:52:32 | 14m 44s | Kill Me Plenty | ♥ 1 | Neat idea, I would have loved to see more levels or trap types! |
| Oct 6 20:04:44 | 12m 12s | TANKNAT | ♥ 1 | Awesome use of the loop! Felt very good to play. Minor issues with the random generation blocking your path but you can backtrack and re-gen loops if you get stuck. |
| Oct 6 20:18:32 | 13m 48s | Super Platypus Drifter | ♥ 3 | I love the concept, but the lack of UI scaling made it impossible to read at higher resolutions |
| Oct 6 20:26:22 | 7m 50s | FIND THE LOOP | ♥ 1 | I think with a bit more polish you could create a really great puzzle-platformer with this mechanic. |
| Oct 6 20:34:50 | 8m 28s | The Monkey Weekend | ♥ 0 | I think there's something cool in there, but its hard to understand what to do or what is happening. |
| Oct 6 20:49:58 | 15m 08s | Solar Edge | ♥ 0 | First off, you should probably mention for others that you need the Java SDK to run this game! I really liked the idea a lot but there's no conveyance of what any building does, or any indicator of what is happening. The music and art are fantastic, and I'd love to see more. |
| Oct 6 21:05:28 | 15m 30s | Looty Loop | ♥ 1 | Great vibe, wish there was more scaled content |
| Oct 6 22:22:24 | 1h 16m | Caterpillar Dissent: Deliverance | ♥ 1 | I have no words i ate a skyscraper and ascended to the heavens 10/10 |
| Oct 6 22:26:28 | 4m 04s | 33 loop | ♥ 1 | Really neat experiment. I imagine compositing all that together and "simulating" the shadows was a challenge. |
| Oct 7 20:41:38 | 22h 15m | Dr. Needles and the Nightclub | ♥ 1 | I found the hippie at the last second. That bassline was super catchy, well done! |
| Oct 7 20:48:01 | 6m 23s | Stuck on Mars | ♥ 1 | Really cool entry, the difficulty curve felt appropriate. One thought would be to have some sort of audio chime when a request is sent by the colony, sometimes the indicator bubbles visually blended and I didn't notice them until it was too late. |
| Oct 7 20:54:34 | 6m 33s | Passerby | ♥ 1 | The art was fantastic. As others have mentioned, some of the colliders were unforgiving, and there was a noticeable input delay, especially when jumping (although that may just be my thrashed keyboard). |
| Oct 7 21:02:53 | 8m 19s | Life Of Crime | ♥ 1 | That was so goofy. Somehow still more 'realistic' than PayDay |
| Oct 7 21:08:34 | 5m 41s | Home Office Survivor | ♥ 1 | I embraced Madness. I wished that there was some indication that you used the mouse to interact with the minigames. |
| Oct 7 21:15:12 | 6m 38s | S.A.L.F.s | ♥ 0 | I really liked the 'observations'! I think the audio was clipping for me, there was a lot of distortion in the music, was that intentional? |
| Oct 7 21:31:43 | 16m 31s | Toucan's Revenge | ♥ 3 | Those riddles were tough, definitely some adventure-game logic happening there which is always a bit frustrating, especially when your progress resets every failure. BUT, the music was amazing, I love how layers were added for every riddle, and the art was also mesmerizing. |
| Oct 8 00:46:12 | 3h 14m | Hiccup Time | ♥ 2 | Such a cool concept, I just wish it was a little easier to tell when or where to get ingredients. |
| Oct 8 00:56:21 | 10m 09s | Copy | ♥ 1 | this was a really impressive game for 2 days work! One QOL thing i would have liked woul be for the rotate buttons to be bound to the keyboard somehow, clicking around on everything felt clunky. But the puzzles and concept were really cool! |
| Oct 8 01:04:06 | 7m 45s | Bunny Loop | ♥ 2 | The art and feel were great, but the movement was really unforgiving, especially once you upgraded speed. |
| Oct 8 21:59:00 | 20h 54m | The Good, The Bad and The Fluffy | ♥ 2 | Well done! I wish there was audio but the puzzles were really good and the visual style was on point. |
| Oct 8 22:08:22 | 9m 22s | Chronolooper | ♥ 1 | I love this idea, definitely worth trying to expand upon it! |
| Oct 8 22:25:05 | 16m 43s | Chronophobia | ♥ 1 | I'm really impressed by this, good job. Great use of the theme, the mood and pacing was perfect. |
| Oct 8 22:35:07 | 10m 02s | Chicxulub | ♥ 1 | Really fun little game, I'm always impressed by how much you can cram into a little Pico8 cart. |
| Oct 8 22:42:33 | 7m 26s | Chrono Drift | ♥ 1 | I always love struggling with zero-g controls. Great little prototype! |
| Oct 8 22:53:15 | 10m 42s | BOOTLOOP_RECOVERY | ♥ 1 | I can't believe this was made in 48 hours, well done. Gave me some real System Shock vibes. I'm not gonna lie, though, the 'death' sound for the "thing" was hilarious to me. |
