Short, but sweet. I don't think I've seen the idea of changing level architecture based on how you die before, although I'm not hugely knowledgeable about platformers. I'd be interested to see a more developed game on this theme.

This game was really interesting. It was really confusing and you didn't describe really anything, but I liked the idea of using different deaths to take you to different rooms or levels or versions of the room.

It was an interesting idea but I couldn't figure out how to progress. I loved the art and music though, I'd like to see another version of this game with a clearer tutorial. Good work!
Neat idea, I would have loved to see more levels or trap types!

Pretty cool. I did find the death/trap change location thing a little too unpredictable.

Would love to see this ported to web / mac if you get the chance!
Fun game but a bit short. The respawn point could appear only once you die first (I thought you could interact with them at first) and a clean tutorial could make it easier to understand. With that said, the concept has a lot of potential and I would love to see it grow into a full game as I had fun playing this demo.

It took a some trial and error to figure what dying to each trap does. The levels were simple enough, but I could see it getting really confusing for larger and more complex levels. Maybe showing some subtle link between traps could help clear things up.
The art is great, simple but clean. The character controls well and it was fun to play. The music was catchy too, great work!

Cool and original idea, fits really well with the theme!
I felt a bit confused about which death would take me to which location, maybe it would help to show how they link together.

Cool game! As mentioned before in the comments, it is hard to understand how the traps and spawn points are connected together, maybe an indicator showing the link to the trap where you just died would help :)
Nevertheless, well done!
So, I read your feedback and I surmized that the following is needed:
@merpui @kaeveris @verso @wahooney A link between each trap and spawn. It will take me some thinking, but the best way I see thus far is to color code the traps with the spawn points. Like blue traps send you to the blue spawn, etc. Of course, this doesn't address the issue of having some traps revealing and hiding other parts of the level. This one will still be a "trial and error" mechanic as I still haven't figured out how to give the player a hint that trap A will reveal trap B without revealing trap B beforehand... if that makes sense lol
@aditon @lychee @vivien-fargette A tutorial will be the next step for this game. I'm already working on it :)
Thank you all for the feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed the game
Cheers

Really cool game but too short!
Cool game, too short! I just powered forward until completion, not sure how to work the respawns on the second level, just killed myself until it went back up to the top one. I like the obstacles changing around with each death, that could be expanded on a bit, but some combinations were a little frustrating, like the first level's spikes and gun was pretty brutal.
I think a simple way to improve this would be to include a death counter just to keep score. Maybe the levels can score like Golf where you only want to die a certain amount of times!
Overall cool idea and good job, just needs a few more interesting levels!
BTW It's possible to jump over this wall and break the game

Cool game with nice music, but the game scaled terribly for me: Naamloos.png
@ismael-rodriguez Thanks for pointing out that you can jump off the wall in Level 01. This issue should be fixed in Build 0.1.6
@wormholegames Oof! This isn't supposed to happen. I'll look into it when I get the chance
Thank you all for the feedback. I'll try my best to address all issues that were pointed out in the comments

Hello. I tried the MS Build 0.1.7 and I think it's not working properly because the character is always going left.
@matootsy Hi there! I'm sorry that the game didn't work properly for you. I downloaded the MS Build 0.1.7 files and played the game. I didn't encounter the problem you mentioned
If you can provide further information as to how this issue occurred, I will be grateful

@blood-jackal23 : I tried again, it's the same problem for me : the character is always moving left when I leave the keyboard keys. But it's weird because I read all the comments and nobody seems to have this problem except me... I tried the Build 0.1.4 and it's the same... Or is it normal and it's a feature in the game?
@matootsy hmm... I will keep looking into this but I have checked the build and everything was fine on my end
I'll be on the lookout for that bug you mentioned but I'm afraid I can't seem to figure out what causes this on your system. I'm sorry...

@blood-jackal23 : oh! I'm sorry it's just on my side. I see this bug again in other unity project. It's my Xbox Pad that made it... :-o
@matootsy Well, I'm glad we got to the bottom of this :)
