Aug 13 21:23:07 Space Intruder ♥ 1 Hey, there are lots of interresting mecanisms, and I really adore the way the monster grows. Simple yet efficient. A find the dash really difficult to use.
Aug 14 05:18:55 7h 55m Archer Librarian ♥ 1 Very fun game, with an innovative mecanisme. However, on my small screen the game screen is off centered, so I can't see everything.
Aug 14 05:32:59 14m 04s Bomber Dash ♥ 3 If you want some bullet hell, that's the place to go ! I love the different ennemies, specifically the canon shooting upward. But it quickly gets far too messy for me... probably a matter of taste. Also, I have a weird felling about the controls, I can't say why. But somehow, I can't really fell "in". Though, the amount of polish with the animations is impressive.
Aug 14 05:41:06 8m 07s S.P.A.C.E., inc. ♥ 1 Cute little game with minimalist, yet efficient drawings. But damned, it is so tough right from the beginning !
Aug 14 05:58:38 17m 32s Jelly! ♥ 0 The idea is interresting (I always like attemptes to use cellular automaton in games). However, it took me a while to understand the goal : growing the same number of cells for each color. Maybe it should be told more precisely ?
Aug 14 06:11:56 13m 18s Paranormal Investigations: The Darkness ♥ 0 The introduction is astounding. Very nice art and sound, the atmosphere is great. However, I could not really go into the story. I'll try again.
Aug 14 06:32:44 20m 48s Follow Line ♥ 1 That's a really great idea I'd love to see further developped. However, I have found the controls a bit difficult.
Aug 14 06:48:38 15m 54s Build Build Build! ♥ 2 That's a very basic city planner. And for now there aren't that many interresting mecanism. However, there is a nice pressure to host those many migrants. (And I am very proud to have managed to host all of them in the end !). It has been a short be somewhat pleasant experience. Also, the creator's word in the game are nice.
Aug 14 07:14:08 25m 30s Djabo ♥ 2 That was an impressive game indeed, with nice arts, a start, a development, and an end. The ennemy is really well done and fits perfectly with the theme. Congratulations ! The game lagged a bit in my computer though
Aug 14 07:26:29 12m 21s Mr. Flame Just Wants A Hug ♥ 1 fun idea. But I got lost with camera spinning a lot
Aug 14 07:40:43 14m 14s Shopper ♥ 0 Hahaha, really nice entry and reflexion about computer life. Thank you for the experience
Aug 14 07:49:51 9m 08s Arrows ♥ 0 Very nice and innovative short game. I enjoyed playing it and trying to reach an high score
Aug 14 08:04:41 14m 50s Day15: Evacuation ♥ 1 Ahh. One of these rare zombie games with a proper infection spreading among survivors. I loved the bad ending when zombie enter the train. The ood worked perfectly well for me.
Aug 14 08:16:07 11m 26s TUNAPADTWA ♥ 1 The arts are really nice and sets a nice mood. But I got stuck for a while with the controls : it took me a while to realise that I had to keep pressing k for a while to start. Also, don't manage to go past the first monster...
Aug 14 08:33:39 17m 32s Not Enough Space ♥ 2 Heym interresting but difficult to master control scheme. The game is simple but fun to play. In that case, I appreciate that the level is not random as we can try to opptimise the path (otherwise, we would need to see further away to plan trajectories)
Aug 14 08:45:44 12m 05s Airlock Gridlock ♥ 2 Nice. Trafic control around a space station was concept I wanted to explore since a long time. good job
Aug 14 08:58:08 12m 24s Space Horror Sokoban ♥ 1 Very nice variation on sokoban ! I have lots of fun playing it.
Aug 14 09:24:42 26m 34s Alive ♥ 1 I really loved the graphics (simple, yet efficient), and the introduction / tutorial is great ! However, I felt that the controls where a bit tedious. Why do I need to confirm everytime I dig? After the first time, we know that it'll take an hour... The mood was nice, and I felt and urge to search the internet whether it was based on a true story or not.
Aug 14 09:53:53 29m 11s Slow Access Memory ♥ 1 Whaou. I am stunned by the graphics and movement ! Also the concept looks brillant. I hope that you'll keep working on it and create nice levels ! Keep us informed ;)
Aug 14 10:02:46 8m 53s space sucks ♥ 1 The concept is interresting and the tutorial really well done. There is little bit of something missing for me to really get hooked, but having to alternatively suck and throw space is nice.
Aug 14 10:26:29 23m 43s Gravity well ♥ 2 The game looks really nice, good job. The setting is great (having to scavenge planetary remains to escape a blackhole), many systmes seem to have been implemented. However, we don't "fell" what is going on : we just need to turn, press up, and then click a few upgrades to win. I'd love to see that idea being further developped though.
Aug 14 10:47:17 20m 48s Space Out! ♥ 3 As it is now the game is not really challenging. But the graphics and UI are gorgeous. Interresting job (I am also developing a game where the target is to link stars to each other. So it is good to see what other people are doing)
Aug 14 10:57:27 10m 10s The Void ♥ 0 It looks nice and the trajectory effect of the ships is very effective. I also really adore the way the world is being eaten. The core mecanism (balancing ship production with people rescue) should provide a nice challenge
Aug 14 11:06:23 8m 56s Legendary Geometry Space Wars ♥ 0 Very nice visual effects. However, it is not comfortable to play as the screen shrinks. The explosion effect is gorgeous, but somehow I would have loved it to be more than a visual effect, and impact trajectories.
Aug 14 11:19:00 12m 37s Space Toxin ♥ 3 Excellent introduction and tutorial. But I have the same remarks as BigBossErndog with the controls
Aug 14 11:32:12 13m 12s Microbiota Panic ♥ 2 Very fun -and somewhat unique- setting. I did not really understand what was that green bar (life ?) Actually, I probably have not played it in the intended way, as I was trying to each as much as possible thinking that I might reproduce (you know, the kind of thing microorganisms do in video games...)
Aug 15 12:43:43 25h 11m Escape the Big Rip ♥ 0 As it is now, the game is lacking challenge. But the control scheme and the need to use a ressource to change direction is an interresting twist on runners.
Aug 15 13:04:49 21m 06s Delete After Reading ♥ 2 Nice game and good idea. My only issue is that we are obliged to play a few times to know wich disk we have to keep. It would be a better mecanism if we could erase a stored disk with a new one. God job !
Aug 16 06:45:51 17h 41m Patrick's Challenge III ♥ 0 Simple, yet very efficient game. The 7 figure seed, and its explaination, was a nice touche of polish.
Aug 16 06:52:54 7m 03s Spiritship ♥ 1 Very nice graphics. Actually, I wonder if there is not a unwanted "meta game" as the music and tone of "unsuccess" message is as sad as the expected story ;-) Of course, we would love to play the game we had planned to do...
Aug 16 06:58:21 5m 27s Storage ♥ 1 Extremelly classic game, but it perfectly fits the theme. It fells a bit stale now, but just some sounds at the right place could have made it totally addicting.
Aug 16 07:07:57 9m 36s Relocation ♥ 0 Very interresting idea which fits perfectly in the present atmosphere. A bit too simple in terms of mecanisms, but hey, that's a game jam. I'd love to see it further developped. As a personnal taste I would have prefered to play it in turn based mode. But that's probably because I am getting old and sloooooow.
Aug 16 07:23:58 16m 01s The Post-Grocery Conundrum ♥ 1 That's a good game. Simple, efficient, with just the correct slight touch of humour. And man, this reminds me so much the state of my fridge... Good job.
Aug 16 07:31:15 7m 17s Astro Spider ♥ 1 Very nice mecanism. And it was nice to see a progression in the levels. Though, the theme is not too obvious to me (maybe there are more obstacles as we move forward ?) and the spider web metaphore could have been pushed a bit further. Very fun game.
Aug 16 07:46:13 14m 58s Mother Ship ♥ 1 I do really love the graphical feeling of your game, and the blackhole effect. I hadn't realised at first the a black hole would grow to destroy the earth. That's a nice touch. It makes me think of another game "Icarus" by karlin Ross made for a previous Ludum Dare. Of course, I'd love to try a more refined edition !
Aug 19 18:06:10 82h 19m ClapBang ♥ 0 Interresting game. To be honest,I have felt lost for a while. But finally I managed to grasp it. The controls scheme (firing on stop) is very interresting.
Aug 19 18:25:03 18m 53s Space Taters ♥ 0 Whoo, there are many objects and mecanisms which have been developped for a game Jam ! It's impressive, and looks promising. My grip however is that the atmoshpere and level design felt a bit shallower than what we could have expected compared to all the rest. The experience (mine at least) would have much better it had been more balanced.
Aug 19 18:41:57 16m 54s The Fall of Arcology ONE ♥ 1 That's good platformer, with pixel pixel graphics to tell the story. That's a very good work for a compo ! A felt however that the theme was used a bit too sparcely... The idea of a crowded building to solve overpopulation is good. But we don't fell it in the game. Sure, there are some corps. But they don't really make sense yet (have they been killed by terrorist ? But the blow hasn't arrived yet. Or have they died of over population ? But we don't get any hints about that). Also, th ebuilding should be packed with people trying to escape, while it fells very empty... So, a very nice platform with good arts, which is promising, but too shallow storywise.
Aug 25 05:32:46 130h 50m Compactory ♥ 1 That's a very nice idea. But for some reason, I find the controls very difficult. I might have missed something as I don't see similar comments... But for someone reason I have difficulties mixing bounce and conveyors.
Aug 27 20:35:29 63h 02m SpaceLab 42 ♥ 5 Well. I don't join the other about the assets. It is one thing to take nice pieces, and it is yet another to make it look nice. And your introduction screen looks really nice. Which suits perfectly well with me. However, there are a few dubious things : (...I had made a mistake reading compilation date... ) Also @rahim-pxr left a very odd comment on my game : there are 7 words about my game, which really don't fit with what it is about. And 32 words to request me to play yours. Viewing that your team as rated 140 game extremelly quickly, I doubt that you actually played it... (actually, after checking, my game has -not- been downloaded since 3 days. CQFD) Well... I don't thing that's a good calculation : the target is to rate and make comments with the best quality. while here, you are more likely to attract people which are suspicious about your project.
Aug 27 20:59:37 24m 08s The Espacito ♥ 0 Hey I love that game ! It has a very nice feeling from the 80s, and has me whishing there where more variety ! (but, hey, that's a jam. So no worries) The mecanism with the game area reducing is well done. Specifically the fact that you gain a little bit of space if you are quick enough. I would have liked though to have a little bit of inertia in the ship though... Good Job !
Sep 1 08:41:32 107h 41m Cave Dwellers ♥ 1 Very nice puzzle, with a good theme. Damned, these fields must have a crazy productivity ;-). I think that I took 9 level to fully grasp some mecanism. Well done.
Sep 1 08:48:45 7m 13s Obey ♥ 1 Nice Graphics. I wouldn't say that I have a "fun" time as I did not real fell any purpose. But you really brough us in the theme mood, with some humour.
Sep 1 08:59:02 10m 17s Running out of space and into your spaceship ♥ 0 Ha, a game with puzzlescript ! Nice. Very interresting variation on sokoban, with some interresing mecanism progessively being added. I loved the gradation in level design to. That was fun ! So, of course i wonder what happened to the guys ? Nice suspens being left in the end.
Sep 1 09:15:20 16m 18s Temple of Ungrow ♥ 0 Ok... That was weird... It looked to me like a pack of odd protypes stiched together. That was -hu- weird, but interresting.
Sep 2 14:56:05 29h 40m Power Ports & Pollution ♥ 0 Well, the idea looks interresting. But I could not really wrap my head around the game... (it is soo easy to die without understanding why right from the beginning) Mayde did we not get enough info... The music was really annying for me. Though, the idea of ressource management optimisation is interresting.
Sep 2 15:02:41 6m 36s Path Blox ♥ 0 Nice puzzle. I found it a bit difficult to grasp, and a slower start for begginer would have be very useful for (to really undestand what is going on). But that was interesseting The graphics (and animations) are very nice.
Sep 2 15:10:59 8m 18s Return of the Sea ♥ 0 It looks like an interresting. Maybe with some clever choice to make. But I found it difficult to dive into the figures. Handling the collapse of the city (reduction in space) looks very interresting, though. However, my game ended just as I was entering into that phase... I might come back to it later, and investigate a bit further.
Sep 2 16:38:47 1h 27m Garbage Sale ♥ 1 Hey. This has been an intense experience for me. I have really been moved by the crying girl on the title screen, obliged to sell her preferred plush to pay the rent. I might be seing to too deep into the game; but that mix of sadness, with the fact that we are tearing any valuable things down, the aggravating struggle to pay the rent, and the accumulating garbage... Wouha, that's a terrible downward spiral, in great contrast with the bright colors and cheerfull music. Very dark experience actually, sometimes not too far from reallity. Good job.
Sep 2 17:05:26 26m 39s Green Slime Apocalypse ♥ 1 That was good ! Did you make the music ? It really adds a lot to the mood. As said by @mattwoelk the tutorial was nice and fun. Great impression overall. Would you happen to know puzzlescript ? (a tool to make similar games), because your game looks like a beefed up version of puzzlescript games.
Sep 2 18:22:57 1h 17m Chemtrails ♥ 0 Interresting game. However, the score does not lead us to do what is in the description : actually, the slower but the longer the disease spreads, the higher the score... So it rewards letting the whole population slowly get infected, rather than containing as fast as possible the infection..
Sep 4 19:52:53 49h 29m No Room for Error ♥ 0 The graphics looked nice. And the premises fun. But the controls of the game were very glitchy, so I could not really understand what was going on. Discovering the shooting flyers was a nice surprise (they looked nice). But here too, the interaction felt a bit off. Interresting work though.
Sep 4 20:09:05 16m 12s Escapeless ♥ 1 Very impressive mood. Graphics and sounds work well together. The players death, very slow really is powerfull. The only puzzle I actually solved (2nd level) was interresting. I think that I'll spend some time trying to solve the full game. About not leaving -much- comment due to that fact that you don't speak english, I would advise you to writte them in your own langage, and then add below them a translation from google translate, reverso, or any other translation site. It'd be great for everyone : more comments, insights of different culture, and it'll actually show how international the Jam is (this said, maybe should I comment in my own langage too ?).
