Great concept. Gets tough fast, which for a short game like this is totally fine. If it was made longer i'd have the learning curve a little gentler. The only thing I didn't like was the scrolling text over the game play. Maybe if the font was more in keeping with the rest of the graphics it wouldn't be so jarring. Fitting music too.
I love that music, it fits the game extremely well. Also the thought of using a puzzle game with a dynamic element - such as the slime is clever and well put together in this case. I don't think the levels got too hard, they just required some thinking through. There is a lot of potential in the game as a concept. One of the only negatives i have with the game is the method of giving the user information. Instead of having lines scrolling up the screen distracting the user you could have a popup box at the top of the screen giving info, or you could have a speech bubble coming from your character telling the user. However, it is only a slight downside in an otherwise well put together game. Also i like the minimalist graphic.
Wow what great minimalistic style but so polished. I loved the music and audio cues. Would have loved to play for a little longer or at least move during the credits :D Keep it up, great job!

I liked the game, it was fun, sprinkled with a wee bit o cheeky humor... I agree with renegade that the difficulty ramped up a bit fast, and the text overlay needed some polish... I did like the little messages they were very helpful and made me smile at times.

I really liked this game, one of the best entries I've seen in LD42! Very nice gameplay, the graphics is perfectly minimalist, the music fits nicely, and it was a lot of fun! My only issue is that it gets very difficult quickly, but I'm not as good at logic/puzzle games, so it is probably my fault. Oh, and that sometimes you move twice by one key press.

I see a good basis for a puzzle game here. The few levels and features the game had were interesting, though it would of course be nice to have more puzzles to play with. The difficulty curve seems to work out pretty well, with each element being given its own dedicated introduction level. I thought the graphics were perhaps too minimal for a game that took up the entire height of my screen. But all in all, pretty good work.
This is a great puzzle game, and it fits the theme perfectly as well! I also liked the orange box mechanic and the scrolling text. :smiley:
That was good ! Did you make the music ? It really adds a lot to the mood. As said by @mattwoelk the tutorial was nice and fun. Great impression overall. Would you happen to know puzzlescript ? (a tool to make similar games), because your game looks like a beefed up version of puzzlescript games.

Hi sorry I forgot to rate the audio (I have now). For some reason the music didn't play in my normal browser (Safari), so I didn't rate it. I have played the game in chrome now. The music is amazing! :smiley:
@yayiest Thank you! The best browser for our game is Firefox (it is bug in our code - sorry about that). In Firefox you should be able also hear music (different song) on start screen if you did not hear it in Chrome (I bet you didn't).
