Aug 16 13:15:16 Hovertank 42: Modern Wall-fare ♥ 2 Love the concept. The walls make it really tense trying not to miss the enemies. Controls are solid, love the sounds. Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297349787
Aug 16 13:17:05 1m 49s SQUASH KILL ♥ 1 Love the blood effect when the zombies get squashed. Definitely needs audio, a good meaty squish to go along with that. Also, would be cool to be able to pull the boxes. You'd still run out of space but would have more leeway arranging/using them. Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297350503
Aug 16 13:19:16 2m 11s Emissary ♥ 1 After almost thirty games, this is still one of my favorites. The jumping is hard to judge because of the camera angle but other than that I had a lot of fun! Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297350813
Aug 16 13:22:02 2m 46s Spaced Out ♥ 1 The billboard asteroids are great, and the little explosion effects my favorite part. Wish there was more of that for the planets and ship etc. Clearly ran out of time, but you got some functionality in, so good start! Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297351006
Aug 16 13:25:15 3m 13s Big Crunch ♥ 1 I was expecting this to be a bland endless runner, but it surprised me! Loved the warp sections to break things up and the variation on asteroids. Challenging, but not super frustrating. Good stuff. Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297351476
Aug 16 13:27:11 1m 56s Pineapple Run ♥ 1 Love the acid tunes and the design of the little dude with he pineapple. The up/down mechanic is great, especially having different sounds to alert the player of what's changed. I think the balance of generating up/down blocks could be tweaked a bit to account for the current state of the game and balanced a bit more, but overall a solid runner. Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297351881
Aug 16 13:32:42 5m 31s Mind Space ♥ 1 The concept is great - love the idea of a cassette tape for our memories. The animation of yanking it out of the brain is quite good, although a bit out of touch with the more somber mood the game seems to be aiming for. The core mechanic of balancing numbers felt a bit dull (maybe I'm just an emotionless robot?) and it was difficult to judge good vs bad decisions. But clearly everyone else liked it so that's just my two cents. XD Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297352317
Aug 16 13:36:41 3m 59s Floorspace Deprecation ♥ 0 Would be nice to have autofire when shooting and some indicator of where/when the enemies will spawn (like those space pulses in No Man's Sky!) but otherwise an interesting start. I think the tiles could have been larger, or the enemies slower/dumber. Wasn't able to survive long enough to really get into the dodging lava mechanic. Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297352685
Aug 16 13:39:41 3m 00s LegDos ♥ 0 I would have liked an option to speed up the game (something I wish more idle games had) so I could do more interactive things, like upgrade my hard drive, without waiting for a super long time. More interactivity in general would be good. But there's a ton of icons and programs in here, and I enjoyed the concept. Also, FL Studio isn't that cheap. ;) Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297352971
Aug 16 13:43:55 4m 14s Summer's Lease ♥ 1 The writing is great. Loved the light, casual tone - made for a quick and fun experience. Some proper humor in there, too. Ended up dying in a car crash which probably isn't the best ending but I'll be revisiting to see more soon. Good stuff! Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297353349
Aug 18 16:55:10 51h 11m Protocol: 47 - Superstar Appeal ♥ 1 I had so much fun with this. It was short and not exactly a game - more of an interactive experience - but the text generation and premise were super interesting. Good work! Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297353742
Aug 18 16:57:38 2m 28s Overload ♥ 1 This is fun, and I'd love to try it on a mobile device. Quite difficult, but in a good, challenging way. I would have liked to be able to see the entire belt - maybe make the bit on the left translucent? I think that would go a long way to clarifying the slots limitation for me, rather than the numbers. Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297354320
Aug 18 16:59:21 1m 43s Ultimate Boss Battle of Doom ♥ 1 Love the concept. As you said while I was streaming, it would be great to see the boss to clarify what's going on, and maybe some reworking on the character's collision box to make it a little more forgiving. But otherwise, the art, audio, and gameplay were great! Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297354734
Aug 18 17:01:22 2m 01s Stop Climate Change! ♥ 1 More of a physics toy than a full game, and quite difficult, but quite entertaining. I managed to get a 100-penguin size-100 game to load but it ran about one frame per minute. XD Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297354971
Aug 18 17:05:17 3m 55s The skeletons took my boat ♥ 2 Love the pixel art and the island generation. Couldn't find the boat or the paddles - assuming the zombies had them, but they were only dropping ammo. And the poison grew at a super fast rate so it was difficult. Still, a cool concept! Love the idea of enemies creating the bit that makes you run out of space. Makes for a nice push and pull of "do I want to kill them?" Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297356040
Aug 18 17:07:37 2m 20s Space Compact ♥ 0 I think the graphics could have been a bit larger (especially when you go inside the space stations). Controls are solid, and I love that you show the lines to the space stations, but it would be nice to have some idea of how far they are - either by resizing the lines or showing the distance with the number. The ship really goes once it gets going so I overshot the stations almost every time. Also, it doesn't seem to handle it well if you pick up from multiple stations without dropping off. I like the concept, and as I said, the Asteroids-style controls work really well. Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298011771
Aug 18 17:11:32 3m 55s CRAMMM: Totally Accurate Studying Simulator ♥ 1 Really neat game. Have to check out the Android version, because I can imagine it would be easier with my finger than with the mouse. Some of the words are a bit ambiguous (Roy is in Super Smash Bros, so technically a video game thing?) but that's often a problem in these word-based games. Otherwise, loved it! Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298011915
Aug 18 17:13:43 2m 11s Deep Heat ♥ 1 Love the concept, graphics, audio - it's a solid piece of work. However, the right-click was a bit glitchy on my end. Not sure if it's Chrome's fault or some weirdness. Really wish it hadn't been a problem because I'd love to get further along. :\ Here's a video of my play (and the glitchiness): https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298012019
Aug 18 17:16:24 2m 41s Death-wall Dungeon ♥ 1 Dude, Catacomb Abyss?! Hardly anyone talks about that (awesome) game! Love the style. I think pixelated billboards are woefully underused. The game is desperately in need of audio to support the awesome graphics. Would love to have some DOS-era MIDI tunes in there, and those blippy fireball noises like CA. It's super small and super short but I would definitely play a larger, more finished version. :) Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298012185
Aug 19 16:46:32 23h 30m Nether Flood ♥ 1 Wasn't sure about this one from the pixel-splotch screenshots, but it was actually super clear how to play and what to do. Solid controls, and the movement noise is great. Enjoyed it! Here's a video of my play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298012341
Aug 29 15:41:15 238h 54m Space Box Rescue ♥ 1 Always love me some Sokoban, despite being awful at it. Here's my video feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298012515
Aug 29 15:42:08 53s grOw ♥ 1 We talked about the "impossible level" a bit on Twitter, but still a cool concept! Here's my video feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298012717
Aug 29 15:52:14 10m 06s Tetris with Physics ♥ 0 I played a mobile game called Frustatetris or something of the like which had a similar starting concept, so I went in expecting the same thing. The Easy Mode, though, is a totally different and unique experience. Really enjoyed it. Here's a video of my play/feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298013210
Aug 29 15:53:46 1m 32s Warehouse Madness ♥ 1 Initially struggled with figuring out the instructions, but it turned out really fun - although super hard. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298013345
Aug 29 15:55:33 1m 47s Space Out! ♥ 0 This was fun and relaxing - a word I don't usually use to describe these sorts of mouse-driven simulation things. Hope you keep that same vibe even if you go back to add goals etc. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298013495
Aug 29 15:57:26 1m 53s Space Hauler ♥ 1 Found this super difficult, especially when I got out of the ship - ended up not doing that after the first try. XD Still, love the concept and there are definitely nice polish bits like showing the item names. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298013642
Aug 29 16:00:54 3m 28s Miss Eyesore ♥ 1 This kind of threw me into a bit of a rant, maybe as a push-back from the plethora of positive feedback. It's not my cup of tea, but clearly it satisfies a ton of people, so feel free to ignore me. XD I did really enjoy the monster design. Anyway, if you want to see the rant here it is: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298013773
Sep 2 14:20:11 94h 19m The Battle for the Earth ♥ 1 I thought the writing was a bit wordy, but definitely solid. But I'm well aware there's not a lot of time to edit in a weekend game jam, especially with something of this scope. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303321941
Sep 2 14:29:38 9m 27s Just A Small Buisness ♥ 0 I was kind of surprised by the pushing walls mechanic, and thought it was super interesting. Wasn't able to find whatever I was supposed to find. Wish there were more clues and things to interact with, but it's a cool start. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303321940
Sep 2 14:32:50 3m 12s Bat-Chan! ♥ 1 This is a great start! I think it would be less frustrating if you could control the cloud separately from the player character. Cool artwork. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303323176
Sep 2 14:36:36 3m 46s Samuel's Escape ♥ 1 This was a nice little polished platformer, and I enjoyed it. Even managed to finish! Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303324490
Sep 2 14:41:07 4m 31s LimitedActions ♥ 1 I felt this game went a bit too far with scope and not far enough with polish. There are tons of mechanics slowly piling on one another - maybe would have been better to focus on the core one or two, and add the others later. Still, the ideas here have a lot of potential. :) Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303323170
Sep 2 14:43:47 2m 40s Spaceabon ♥ 1 I think most of my feedback has been covered by the others here, but yeah - I loved this game. Super fun, and definitely unique on the puzzle front. Had some minor quirks with movement and such but overall solid work. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303323174
Sep 2 14:46:01 2m 14s Tiny Garbage Man ♥ 1 This was simple, but fun! Took a while to get used to the trajectory, especially on the top pipes. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303323174
Sep 2 14:48:39 2m 38s Writespace ♥ 3 This was an amazing use of typing as a puzzle mechanic. Loved the aesthetic of the backgrounds and music, very well put together. One of my favorites of the jam. :) Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303323172
Sep 2 14:54:36 5m 57s Laser Racer ♥ 1 You weren't kidding about it being very hard. :P I think the jump could have been a bit higher to match the blocks, although granted that would make it a ton easier. Music was good, loved the visual aesthetic. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303323177
Sep 4 13:06:44 46h 12m Edgy Fantasy Battle Deluxe ♥ 1 Loved the character portraits and the music. Felt like the terrain maybe could have been rebalanced a bit to allow more spells, but since it's a single battle (and I could scratch that itch with a replay) it's not a huge deal. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303323171
Sep 4 13:08:52 2m 08s Dark Lord Ludum Dare ♥ 1 This was a neat little game. Shows that you don't need a huge amount of fancy stuff to make something fun. Definitely good humor in there. Here's a video of my feedback and play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303323179
Sep 4 13:11:57 3m 05s Corrupted Space ♥ 1 Always fun to tinker with gravity! Curious about why your time lapse starts with making what looks like a space ship. 🤔 Here's a video of my feedback and play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303323175
Sep 4 13:14:35 2m 38s Screen Space Defender ♥ 1 Concept is great, puzzles are super hard! Definitely a creative use of the theme. Here's a video of my feedback and play: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303323178
Sep 4 13:18:18 3m 43s Rude Bear Resolution ♥ 1 The window resizing is a super original mechanic and a technical marvel at that. Jump was a bit droppy for me, could maybe be a bit clearer on the critical path, but overall solid work. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303342353
Sep 4 13:19:38 1m 20s Backpack packer ♥ 0 Could definitely have a few extra levels to start with extra space, and then have this as the last level where you're required to use every single cell. Definitely works, and it's fun in a Tetris sort of "fit everything together" way - but needs a little push for more gamification. :) Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303342348
Sep 4 13:21:25 1m 47s Pipe Dream ♥ 0 Quite a few bugs made it difficult to see what you were going for here, and for the most part it was just jumping right up through all the levels. Lots of them were repeats as well. Seems a bit over-scoped for the jam (more people isn't always going to allow a bigger project) but there's definite creativity in here. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303342347
Sep 4 13:22:36 1m 11s LOÜJ ♥ 1 This game is difficult and fun. XD Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303342352
Sep 4 13:23:27 51s Beyond Closed Doors ♥ 0 The best part of this is cheesing the checkpoint system. ;) Here's my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298014320
Sep 4 13:25:11 1m 44s Sofamino ♥ 1 This is a super cool concept and very polished execution, like a 3D Tetris with a house theme. However, the controls are super complicated and would get confusing on occasion. Might need to be streamlined for a mobile target (which is what it feels like). On the other hand, might be easier to get to grips with the controls on a gamepad. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303342355
Sep 4 13:26:14 1m 03s Vampyre ♥ 1 This was a fun bit-sized experience. Cool stuff. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303342358
Sep 4 13:28:54 2m 40s Roomy's Party ♥ 1 Super simple, rather difficult, and solid humor with the bits of dialogue. Would have enjoyed a bit more... stuff, to keep it going, but at least it wasn't over-scoped! Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303342351
Sep 4 13:30:41 1m 47s Blocks ♥ 1 Fun little prototype. Seems like you have a good idea of scope, which is important. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303342357
Sep 4 13:31:41 1m 00s PIM : Product Input Management ♥ 1 I love this game. <3 Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303342350
Sep 4 13:32:57 1m 16s Dear Leader's Diet Plan ♥ 0 This is ridiculous. :P The gameplay itself is a bit experimental, not quite sure how to get "good" at it, but a fun experience anyway. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303342354
Sep 4 13:35:14 2m 17s Cybatron ♥ 2 I like how there's some gaming in that code time lapse. XD This was fun, definitely unique. Some bits were hard for me to wrap my head around immediately but I'm bad at paying attention to mechanics in these sorts of games. Also reading is hard. Here's a video of my play and feedback: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/303342349
