It took a couple plays before I realized where score was coming from, but I was engaged enough to play the few times. The controls felt good, and smashing into a wall felt as devastating as I imagine you wanted it to

Cool Game! Well Done!
I enjoyed the game, simple but effective. I see how the theme comes in play and I haven't seen many similar games despite the obvious mechanics. Controls are responsive, the game just feels good. Well done !
I like how your engine is looking already!
Anyway, the game is fun to play, and it took me a while to notice the theme, and then it hits me!
The initial controls felt good. The map graphics are smooth and nice. I got the theme application to the racing game so kudos there! :D I made it to 17.
18 waddup
Simple game but it works fine! At first I didn't expect the game to have any goal, so I simply followed the track and looked around. Then I realized that doors were closing and it was actually a race against the clock!
If I were to nitpick, I'd say the car physics were a bit floaty, with steering a bit too sensitive for my taste. I don't remember having the same impressions with Rally, so I wonder if it's just an impression or the physic constants are actually different? Otherwise hitting tyre piles is quite satisfying, and reminds me of Mario Kart somehow.
Oh and overall the level looks good! Nice modeling job.
I managed a score of 18, but I feel that with some experience 19 is possible!
21/22 is possible without even cutting the course, need luck on the downhill though.
I agree with the floaty feeling and even the twitch steering. I however felt the twitch steering worked for this particular game since it gives a challenge. Rally of Rockets also suffers a bit from floatyness and I even took time during LD to investigate further with no luck. The constants are different as they got setup during LD.
The best part of this is cheesing the checkpoint system. ;)

The lighting is either per-vertex or the normals are weird, and the physics of some of the tire stacks is always bugging out, but the theme usage idea is great!
