LD55 — Summoning

Jelly Rush by joniv 2024-04-17T07:25:23Z

Quality concept! I like it when games are scoped well. When the bulk of the game is polished and conveys what the creator had in mind, it is a delight. The difficulty of the final real level was good for a game jam and I found the idea of the pink blobs growing in from flowers and the metal floor preventing flower spawn very creative. I could see this getting expanded.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Fear of the Ungnome by Scott Steffes 2024-10-08T01:51:52Z

I'm not sure I managed to get to the end successfully. I got to this number at the end of a room, and continuing to walk took me across this space platform to a giant stone gnome, and then I fell off the map.

I really liked the artstyle and how well the interaction and sfx meshed together. Good audio. I slightly wish there was a sensitivity setting for the mouse because it's set super high for me.

Fig the Fox by Rodgems 2024-10-07T22:34:30Z

- wish the fireball was more firey colored - love the lil guy - fox sprite and animations look great - would like volume control on the music + sfx on kills or getting hit

Waggle! by TROGDOR 20X6 2024-10-08T01:33:38Z

The movement on the bee is mildly nauseating and making sure to get back into your base is a bit weird feeling. I think the idea behind it is really good. I like the idea of gathering resources and feeding your bees and getting more and more of them, then warring against the enemy hive. I think if the gameplay were cleaned up there's a lot of real excitement in the theme and the "bee-building".

Tiny Brigades by nataku92 2024-10-08T01:46:25Z

I liked this one a lot. At first I didn't understand that you had to do the action in the row in order to activate the creature effects so I died. But once I understood what was happening it was fine. Good game, enjoyed beating the slime. :)

Gobblin' Goblin by DubiousDuck 2024-10-08T01:29:10Z

Really great artstyle but I'm super confused about it. The starting screen looks cool and the goblins moving to their locations is good but if I move both goblins to the grey squares under the tables for every level it ranks me at 3 stars and I can go to the next level and do the same thing, until at the end I get a win screen. I'm not sure what else was supposed to happen?

Vestigium by Rustam 2024-10-07T22:31:33Z

Fun concept of the guy wrestling with his demons and getting shrunk and doing battle against insects representing struggles in his psyche. Would have liked more choices. Great job on the art.

LD57 — Depths

Heaven Denied by Dingbat 2025-04-08T00:07:50Z

I like that the people have little dialogue sounds. Adds a lot more than I expected. At first I didn't even see the screens show text since I was up close in the window.

I think this game would have some potential if it was a full game. Papers Please judgment narrative.

Deep Blue by poboy 2025-04-09T05:33:13Z

Great work with the overall experience as well as the minute details. I enjoyed things like the sway of the submarine, the animation on the text, the submarine inside and the colors you chose for the screen, the morse code mechanic, and the sounds. I would say the combination of the audio and graphics helped sell the narrative. The final scene was also dreamlike and strange, almost awe-inspiring were it a longer game with more interactivity.

Chess was fun, been a while since I did any tactics puzzles so it was refreshing. The tiny board style puzzle was also interesting, I haven't actually seen that before. Awesome job!

Underwatica by MilkWine 2025-04-09T05:37:15Z

If this were a full game and I had to suck up all the little fishies doing their love-twirl into my mixer-hole I would definitely play it. Really nice work with the cave, the small fish that darted out very quickly caught my attention and led me to enter the cave system. The animation and sounds on the mixer was top-tier and the way the plug waves around as I swim about was great. I slightly wish the movement felt more swimmy. I enjoyed Underwatica very much and I would happily tell my nieces and nephews that this was Subnautica.

x sin x by lucoso 2025-04-08T00:11:29Z

I like the sound in the game, and the initial mechanics. It was a bit confusing to get started. In the main screen when I click "fire away" it crashes the game for me, and if I fall off the edge while playing the game, there doesn't seem to be a restart button (maybe it's offscreen).

Tumtrix by ohjuliego 2025-04-08T00:15:48Z

That's enough food! THATS ENOUGH FOOD

I like the blackening of the food that's being digested, gave me some amusement dragging around my darkened stained pizza chunk around. Hot pepper mechanic is funny. The pixel art and the thumbnail for this game is really good! Would have loved some sound--was there any music/sfx? I didn't hear anything on my end.

LD58 — Collector

Recycling War by FiveCyclops 2025-10-07T05:58:46Z

Sorry, when I click the link, I get a "We couldn't find your page" on itchio...

Ghouls & Grimoires by Liam 2025-10-07T06:13:08Z

Great job! It is very thematic, I felt like a real collector. Slightly wished I could attack on my own but I get it. The upgrades were entertaining and the different graphics for the bits you collect were distinctive.

It would add so much if there was more sound effects. Imagine whirlwinds for tornado blasts, massive rock smashes, flames searing the face of the earth. Monsters dying in awe of your wizardry.

Overall very nice.

ALIEN ABDUCTION by SnowfallEagle 2025-10-07T05:56:08Z

You never turn your back on family...

Saved my alien brother!!

Nice mechanics, I like the idea of being able to abduct other people and then wear their skin. Reminds me of the game Prototype. Could be a great concept if expanded on. I only ever saw powers in slots 1 and 2, is there some secret for having a power in slots 3 and 4 like the instructions say about "Choose Abilities"?

The sound is good and the art is fun (assuming you made all the assets yourselves?). Great job!

Haha I notice I can just walk off the ship on the ship screen.
