I feel that you should have embraced the flying (limitless jump) instead of leaving it as a crutch. With some visual effects and tuning it would fit the game nicely.

Amazing graphics, I didn't expect the game to be fully voiced. I'm impressed. The spirit asking you to leave the room is a nice touch. The character tends to moonwalk a bit too much though ;)

Maybe the best submission I've seen so far. BTW, that lighting is awesome and I really dig the twisted corridor feeling at the beginning ^^
Nice take on the Fishing+Racing theme. The menu is confusing since you can't actually play single player but I really love the art style and the fishing line as a selector is a nice touch.
Awesome illustrations and graphics in general, I love the mood. There is a lot of potential, you could make a really cool game, if you extended the RTS gameplay. However, being pulled constantly from the RTS part by the visual novel is a bit annoying and probably could have been done in a less intrusive way. The visual novel part is really good and adds a lot to the immersion but I think it should run more smoothly, not having to press space for every line of text.
Finally there is a bug with funky aspect ratios, the background art keeps switching between stretched and bordered depending on which mode the game is in.

The initial plan was to make the player fish along the way in order to get more time/points/or a speed boost. We ran out of time and didn't implement and tune all that. The game is missing some feedback when you catch the fishs. Also the fishs only spawn when you reach a checkpoint instead of spawning randomly around the player. The progress indicator at the bottom right tells you how far you are to the next checkpoint/fishing spot.
@jsmars we didn't expect that post to have such an impact ^^. We're drowning in ratings now :smile:. We'll make up for it by rating even more games when we get back from work.

I really love the way the UI is integrated around the player, it looks really cool.
A lemmings style game, made with pico8 ? I love it!
Reminded me a lot of Quadrilateral Cowboy :smile: The voice over are really fun and the plane is a joy to fly despite (or should I say thanks to) the command line controls.
Without getting into complicated stuff like a proper flight model I think you should at least implement some banking when the plane turns. Also the console tends to loose some input when you type during the tutorial and when you abuse the command history with the up/down keys. Finally the mouse sensitivity was waay too big for me and the camera was spining all over the place whenever I touched the mouse.
All in all a really cool entry, especially for a first one, I'd love to see you turn this into a more fleshed out game.
