an cool idea. First level is a bit to short, just for a tutorial or something in this direction. The second level was first a bit hart to finish, but after some cool gamemoves, i did it. Good Work!
Hello! Well thanks a lot! At first we designed those levels as tutorials but we ended up with them for the jam since we allocated more time in fixing the bugs and polishing than filling with more content :(
We may continue this project aside later so maybe we'll add some levels :)
For the laggy stuff, we are trying to put the lights baked to gain a bit of performance. Also, we highly recommend playing the windows version ;-) we added webgl also thinking people would prefer this version
Solid game! Short, but it would seem as if you focused on making something good, rather than cramming out crappy content! :D
i like the idea as well as the outcome but maybe instead of implementing the shooting function - which i didnt use despite beating both levels - i would have concentrated on the movement which is hard to master. still good work and keep it up. runs fine in chrome on my machine
Cool game with nice perspective! The second level lagged a bit on my browser, I don't know how the other versions compare. I feel like it would be a lot easier for the player if the two attacks and their direction would be activated by the mouse. That way, you wouldn't have to align yourself with your target by keystrokes. But nonetheless, a cool game!
Amazing great controlls. great idea, but also raeally fun, great use of the ide. I did find a small bug on second level in first corrider you can phase through the right wall close to the bed
If you are to continue cna you make devlogs and give me link
The WebGL version runs very laggy for me, the stealth thing is very cool tho, gonna download now the windows version
This was really nice to play! It was nice to feel actually powerful due to my power ups! I wish there was more content to try out. If anything, would it be possible to randomize the position of the target? I had the same target in the same place on level 2.
Regardless, it was fun to play and I envy the nice 3d work! :)
Wow, thank you so much all of you ! For the nice feedbacks and so !
Yeah the controls were a mess, in fact it's one of the things we did not really focused one as @drvernichter spotted ;-) And they probably changed twice at the end of the jam :'D
Concerning the laggs, yeah :( I think it's about the lighting, it wasn't baked due to some delay in the requirements (uvs in the level) but we have a branch in git to test that now and do some profiling to better understand the cause ^^
@tiberiusuciu at the beginning we thought about maybe randomize the whole level but, well, we thought about it twice and we stated that it would take too much time. Yesterday we were talking about adding more levels maybe even with the same shape but different situations. With your comment I think that placing some props at specific points and placing the target (or more) in one of those spots could be a great asset to the experience :) I'll check that with the team ! Thank you :)
Have a nice day guys !
Important questions first. How Did you make that Table in LDJam website ??
yeah this is hard ... I like the visuals, perhaps some post processing effects or filters would help conceiving a mistery action vibe.. if you wait 2 seconds to observer the first floor your are done, dead lol
@lomna sorry for the delay :) I was on holidays, here's the markdown for that :

@velvetlobster nice suggestions ! Since your comments I tried some post processing effects that did not do what I wanted (SSAO, etc.) I will probably stick it to a simple color grading and light alteration which will do a nice job I think :)
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my livestream!

Nice glitching effects!
Interested stealth game, a bit too short but still pretty cool for a proof of concept.
I really like the idea behind this game. I like the top down stealth and you made the levels are pretty good for that purpose. There are still things that don't quite work like the movement or enemies. Movement was little bit laggy and unresponsive and it would have been nice to see some patrolling enemies. Also the 1st floor target is pretty hard to kill considering this is your first real level. Still I liked the graphics and you made the blood mechanic fit the theme. Overall this is a nice game that shows potential with some polish.
Hi guys ! Thanks a lot for the comments !
Specially yours @fingamer for all the feedbacks ;-) Initially we planned movement for ennemies, but as you felt, we lacked of time to properly design levels. It took too much time and energy for us. One guy was on the assets 100% of the time while two were making the A.I and player inputs full time and finally I, was doing some art and when I got time, level design (at which I'm quite bad :D).
At the end, we all are quite proud of what we accomplished. We went a bit too far in complexity for a gamejam that costed us some quality. In october we will do lighter stuff :-)
