Sorry, the link isn't working for me so I can't play :(
@tolviere Oops! Sorry, there was a typo in the link. It should be working now. Thanks for the heads up :8ball:
I think I'm running into a different problem now. Based on how some the symbols look, I'm assuming they're unicode text icons, and so I think some of them got messed up in the export. I had the same problem with my game when I was trying to use the delta sign. This could just be an issue on my end though, but lmk because your game seems really cool from what I can tell, but most of the icons in the game are like this unfortunately. weird.png
@tolviere Oh no! It should show some Emojis, and they are pretty important to the whole game. I may have to swap out the built in Emojis for inline images. Damn that's a game breaker if it happens to everyone. Thanks for the warning :8ball:
Fun games, art, and voice acting
A real gigachad:

FYI: At the start of the game, protect your ears))
@tolviere Okay, I've bundled in an Emoji font with the game now so it doesn't rely on system Emojis. Hopefully they should appear for everyone now.
@bambutcher > FYI: At the start of the game, protect your ears))
What happens at the start? There shouldn't be any loud noises.
Thanks for playing :8ball:
I liked the ART.
That was incredible, thanks for fixing it! It felt like playing an old newgrounds game, it was so good! I had some troubles figuring out how to drop stuff, but I think that's just because my brain is fried at the moment. I also had a weird temptation to click the item prompt that shows up when you hover over an object instead of the actual object, and the collision box only covers the actual item, so I'd end up just clicking on the ground a lot of the time. Those are all very minor things though, I'm so glad you got it working for me! This is one of my favorites so far. It's got some pretty creative puzzles in it that didn't leave me stumped for too long, and at the same time were really satisfying to figure out. Amazing work!

My headphones were still at max volume from the last game, and that hit my ears pretty hard)
@tolviere You're 100% right about the action prompts. In my head they were supposed to be like tooltips, but I styled them the same as the menu buttons, and well Godot has tooltips built in that I could have used. Live and learn d'oh! :8ball:
This is so wonderfully weird! Everyone is happy now :) Thanks for making something fun and weird!
The graphics are extremly wired but nice. The cover caught me immediately. The gameplay is traditional but you do in a unexpected way. Grabbing everything in hands with different sounds makes this game unique from other games. Nice work! I'm happy now.
This game made me happy. My signals were also noticed. Beautiful, metaphorical, interesting!
What a fun game  It's simple but really well made, I loved it.
Good job !
2.png lmao really fun game! The sound fx were maybe a bit repetitive when hovering them, and I couldn't find all the puzzles but enjoyed my time :)
Hahaha, it was funny and hilarious! Thank you, I had a blast. Good work in 48 hours, I wish you success.
It's full of character. So delightful to play. The sounds were really entertaining. Appreciated the animated title too. It gets you right from the start.
A fun and relaxed game. I liked the visuals and music.
Liked the concept, though dropping taking/dropping items was a bit confusing. Fun overall
Lol, this was delightful! I've never had so much fun brute forcing something. I could _mostly_ figure out what meant what, but they boy's request was tricky for me. The art is great, the sounds add so much ("I might close up early!"), and the concept was so much fun. Thanks for this!
Your game has some really great UI animations and sound effects. I can pick everyone up and stack them on top of each other—haha, that’s hilarious.
Interesting way to make happy all of them. I liked process to find how to make all of them happy.
Damn, that boy can lift. 10/10 game.
Overall I was impressed with what you managed to pull off solo in a weekend. It even has voice acting . I liked the game itself, it plays like a mini puzzle from a classic adventure game. I also found it hilarious.
Great job overall!
I never quite got the best way to pick up and drop items but I thoroughly appreciate the concept and I enjoyed watching the delightful walk animation.
What an unusual entry. love it.
What a delight to play this game! Wonderful assets and just about the right level of difficulty for this type of puzzle-light game. I did struggle a bit with the interactions and I do really wish the camera would have panned up so that my character wasn't half-ways out of the screen. I also managed to create an unholy vortex at one point but fortunately I could sort that out.

@local-minimum Thanks for the video. That's valuable insight and showed me a couple of bugs. The tornadoe seems to be two characters trying to carry each other. That shouldn't be possible but I guess I missed something. Also the rainbow triggered too early as the wolf wants the fish to finish the game. Thanks for taking the time to record the vid :8ball:
Actually hilarious xDDDDD Great work. I actually saved your profile to check the game during the jam hours, when we were scrolling through feed just before the bed and you immediately caught my attention with that screen. I am not disappointed, the game delivered the humor for me, I knew it will be silly! Idea of stacking all the things I could before actually starting the puzzle is making me laugh so hard rn XD The art is very pretty and funny and yeah, I liked the puzzle. Straightforward, but hits with the twists! (the uncanniest baby I have ever seen I am looking at you)
Very funny game! I love these indirect nonsensical puzzles that end up making perfect sense when you think about it. Reminds me a lot of McPixel, another Ludum Dare classic. Would have loved to see more stacking! I imagine if the final solution was to stack everyone up in the correct order into a perfect happiness pile that could have been even more hilarious! Picking things up and dropping them was sometimes kinda finnicky because the buttons kept disapearing, but it's not that bad. I love all the sounds, except for the music at the beginning and end of the game :grimacing: I think it's better without it. And the best part is definitely the graphics, so classy and dumb at the same time, it's a great aesthetic! Overall really enjoyed it!
It's a fun game but the controls are really bad, I literally couldn't click anywhere without it making a nasty sound, but thanks, it was fun.
@allax Sorry you found the controls really bad. Could you elaborate on the game making nasty sounds whenever you clicked. It really shouldn't be making any nasty sounds, and it should only make sounds when interacting with objects, not when clicking anywhere. Anyway thanks for playing :8ball:
Ahah, quite a fun game ! I didn't understood everything but it was so pleasant to combine people together !
This was funny!
I got everyone happy in the end. Nice that you had to use your head a little to get everyone what they want.
Graphics style had lots of personality. Soundscape felt minimal but did it's job. Waves sounded good, but some more ambient sounds or light music during gameplay could have added to mood.
I liked alot how everything - even in the main menu - reacted somehow to mouse hover.
Good work!
This was so much fun hahahaha, the puzzles were honestly fun to figure out and the whole thing had so much character and charm. I was a little confused at the end - was there an actual ending, or is there a point where you just run out of puzzles to solve? Either way, I had a really great time and really enjoyed it, great work!
This style of art is simply too absurd. It's so interesting! Hahaha! It makes one unable to resist continuing to play. There's an inexplicable charm that draws you in.
This was great! I like the painterly fuzz. Nice, large drawings too, must've taken some time. I liked the puzzle, and it was fun to juggle things back and forth (a swap button would've been nice).
It felt a bit janky at times but it helped once I realised that you can just click what's hovered and don't have to use the "take" buttons (which often didn't take what I expected). I also had a bug where I think two things got into a loop of holding each other or something and started violently swinging back and forth :p Luckily it's not a huge deal to have to start this game over.
The voice acting is neat! Recognising the voice from previous games of course.
Best part is the recursive stacking. Some funny combos you have to do. Short but sweet and really nice to look at, well done! c:
At first I was attracted by the art style, but later I found that the game itself was also very interesting.Besides, the sound design is very funny too. I want more levels!
Art is very interesting. The gameplay is a little "weird" but har a lot of potential.
This was a lot of fun! Love it. :D Made it to the end. Everyone's happy now.
I liked the mechanics. It was sometimes a bit finnicky to get the Drop or Pickup buttons to appear, but all worked out. I like the humour and the... surprise visits were nice. Music was great and the sounds effects awesome. :)
!> Had a good laugh when I understood the snake.
I experienced a wonderful bug. I cannot reproduce, so you have to take my word for it: When I dropped the lady (longing for :baby:) on the guy left of her and picked up both of them, the somehow kept floating and spinning very rapidly in the air. When I hovered over them with my cursor, they made their respective sounds. It was wonderful. :D But really I cannot reproduce this and everything worked flawlessly.
Whacky, I love it! Like some folks and myself in real life, I too struggled with dropping things. Stacking everyone up was great and the faces, the movement, it all just oozes charm.
