Any chance for a HTML or OSX build? (For those of us who don't have a windows device available )
I think I cant build to HTML for Unity 3D project sadly, I may be wrong but I couldnt find how. Also I do not know OSX :sorry: This is my first game jam so any advice on how to share it to more people will be much appreciated :D
edit: Im d*mb, I did not install Unity WebGL module on this machine. WebGL Uploaded
A management sim that has the working parts, but is a bit simplistic as a complete game. Good effort for a jam!
Took me a while to understand what I was supposed to do, but I did manage to make some burgers in the end! I liked the music and that there were running tooltips that were sometimes pretty amusing too :)
I got a windows laptop and I was able to play.It was nice to watch the wheat grow. Nice job with the graphics only using what unity has available. After a couple tries is the same pattern of pressing buttons. I think some kind of twist in between would make for a good change between different playthroughs.
Keep going!

Man, this is a difficult one! Despite that I liked it a lot. Music was nice, too!
Yes I asked myself if I should lower the difficulty a bit, but it would have removed the whole satisfaction of reaching the objective and i hadn't enough time to balance it again properly. How many days did you took? :p Thanks for your review !
( psst! There's a secret debugging key that artificialy increase player's money, I forgot to remove it  )
I though I was missing the tutorial but then alzheimers came to the rescue :D
Ha this is neat. I love how different it is from other management sims. Nice work!
It took me 230 days but I did it! The game started off quite slowly, but there's a great rythm at a certain point that carries through to the end.
Very nice game I was a little bit confused with the cow mechanic. Well done!
The cow part definitely needs more in-game feedback, yes :s I use the tips to fill the lack of it but I can understand how player can stil get confused.
Took me a while to figure out how everything worked, but then it became quite fun :D Graphics is simple but quite clear. Some sound effects would have been nice, but the little tune was actually very appropriate and fun to hear. The fonts could have been a bit bigger maybe, and the tutorial text could have shown in the middle of the screen. It wasn't obvious that the text there was important. Anyway, good work!
It took a few rounds to get the hang of it. It wasn't clear when cows were fully grown. The Mars action is pretty funny. Sometimes the buns/patties fly really far, and you don't see an intern for days. It adds some good randomness so the player needs to adjust to the slowness (it's also really funny), and it would be nice to give the player a way to help them along, or fire them, 'cause they're underperforming. The game's balanced really well. I went bankrupt a few times when I went too fast. It feels good when it's all working efficiently, so I think it's a job well done. Day 163 /flex.
**@nyxkn** Glad to hear you had a good time ! I tried to make the text small so it does not bother the player, but I could make it appears to be really small in fullscreen yes. Thank you for feedback !
**@Pincushion** Wow Day 163 is a very good score ! (I scored 188^^) I'm currious if the the WebGL version would cause some physics odds like this, they should always fly to the same point. Adding some more features after the steack/bread part was my original intent but didnt had time to, so I made that intern part helplessly gathering the burgers and selling them. I take ngood ote of your ideas though.
@**all** Thank you all for your precious feedback!
Interesting take on the theme! Pleased to see something that isn't a farming game :) I loved the balance of the game, it felt like I was consistently making progress yet I almost never had a lot of money, having to convert it to cows/meat/bread/etc as soon as possible. So, my wealth was usually not in the money but in the intermediate goods, like in real economy :) The bread & meat flying around and the UFOs gave me giggles, though the cow-to-meat process looks just a bit gruesome.
A few bugs/suggestions: * After playing for a while (maybe ~20-30 minutes) my bread started disappearing. I though it's rotting away, but then I noticed fresh bread disappearing as well, even before it hits the ground. Looks like some bug! * Of course, the UI could be a bit nicer, with clickable buttons instead of key presses. * It would be nice if the money for the UFO would be taken as soon as you've pressed the button - otherwise, it is easy to miss that and go bankrupt. It might be left as it is as a design choice, of course :) * The graphics looks a bit too primitive, maybe just adding some background and throwing a few trees (a brown cylinder + a green sphere would do) here and there, a few stones, some bushes, etc would make it feel much more believable! * I might be the only one who'll notice that, but the transition between shadow cascades is noticeable - when the shadow suddenly changes based on distance to the camera. I'm guessing you'll need to tweak with Unity shadow settings.
Anyways, enjoyed the game, good job!
@lisyarus First of all thank you a lot for this complete feedback ! - 1) Unfortunately I never experienced that yet, do not know where it could come from. Where you using HTML version? - 2) Definitely ! - 3) Yes I chose the other way so the money tips appear in front of player camera, but I may have done it the wrong way. - 4) Yup, I didn't focus on the background at all, needs improvement. - 5) I do not know what you are talking about, I think I'm gonna spend more time on Unity tutorials x).
Thanks for your review again !
@horda Yes, I played the HTML version. At some point all or most of my bread (I had close to 50 of them, I think) just instantly disappeared, and then the new ones started to disappear still in the air.
@lisyarus Hmm, ok I think the problem comes to the amount of objects, I never stocked more than 20 to 30 I think, I'll investigate this way !
Really fun and pleasant game, took me 257 days to get the 500 $ ! The only issue I have is on a 4k screen the UI is very small and I have to switch resolution before I can read it ^^
Neat little game! Love the spaceship delivering cows to the (animated!) meat grinder, gave me a chuckle :D
fun little game, very calm. im glad that cows that miss the fall still count, would have been ruined otherwise. also works well with voice commands for the key bindings :)
Poor cows :) fun little game I like the tractors :D
Fun game, but also quite difficult to get started. I love that the factory literally just spits out the buns as they're created, funny tough to the game!
BRUH THE COWS GET MOVED BY UFOS HAHAHAHAHA
and that tips bar is too good lmao. this is surely how burgers are made
In all seriousness, really funny game with simple graphics and ok audio. With a bit of polish this could be a really fun and funny game.
Nice work and good luck lol!
I like how you create burgers from so beginning that you plant seeds first for the bun. Good idea. Only way to really top that is first to invent the universe.

Nice truck!
Oh man I tried really hard but it's too hard. Took me 5+ retries just to produce one burger before bankruptcy. I started getting the hang of it eventually, becoming able to produce about 4-5 burgers but I'd always run out of money by then.
But it's really cool that you made the whole system work, with little workers that know what to do and all. Especially impressive considering it's a solo Compo entry and your first one as well. Keep up the good work, but please make the games easier to play, this game has a great functional world but is frustrating that I can't get very far.
@kr4ft3r Indeed I made it kinda difficult but it really should'nt be that bad, I'm curious to know what made you go bankrupt so quickly everytime. Especially after you made your first burgers. I forgot to add some in-game tips that I added in the game description here, did you miss one of them maybe? :s Like turning off the bread factory? (i bet on this one ^^), or maybe didn't make enough bread or transport grain in one go? Did you know that cows will not die if their no grain left? I may tune things a little depending on your answer, If you want to try it with lower difficulty, just use V key for an extra starting money :p
Thank you anyway for your kind words and precious feedback, my first participation and those exchanges with the LD community is a great experience! I already hope joining a team for the next jam !
Nice game, but too hard for me. Maybe I need a loan! The bread factory was so expensive to run. Could have been good to add the price of each action somewhere to be seen. I like the idea, could be quite addicting. Good job!
Nice work great 3d elements. Really needs a UI, just some buttons as well as keys and maybe some status bars to show how different parts of the factory/process are running. Add a bit of variety to each element e.g. size/speed/cost of tractor/harvester and you have the beginnings of a burger sim.
came for the wheat, stayed for the UFOs
Loved it, a really nicely balanced game
