I came in expecting a "regular" *submarine collectaton* and I was pleasantly surprised by the game mechanic. The hook is a really nice twist and mastering it is a very fun. I felt maybe post processing was a bit too strong when moving fast, but otherwise the art style is cute, efficient and readable.
The game reminded me of those flash era games you could play for hours just trying to improve your score/time. Really well done, congrats!

What a lovely little game. I absolutely loved that little submarine with its frog tongue. Took me a few seconds to master the hook but once I got it it was a pleasure to play. There's a good feeling about it when you manage to navigate and grap the barrels at the same time, I felt like a pro player

I must have spent near enough 15 minutes trying to get one barrel. A neat mechanic, shame I'm bad at games haha

This was a really frustrating, yet super satisfying game! Sometimes you do the most awesome moves, where you catch a barrel mid-'air'. Other times you dont catch the barrel and it tumbles all the way down again. In summary, great fun :D One little point of feedback is the camera. I noticed that sometimes the camera was looking upwards, whereas the barrel I wanted to catch was falling downwards out of the screen, making it harder to catch. Maybe something to think about :) Great job!

For the first minutes, I though it was too difficult for me. But after some practice, I managed to finish the level in almost ten minutes. Will not try the harder modes, however, I'm too bad with that kind of games, but the mechanic is as simple to understand as it is difficult to master  Very nice graphics, too. Well done! p.s : you should have let the humour category, you would deserve a good note on this for some details

At first I was like "wait what is going on", then I understood the concept and thought "This is a very cool mechanic". Liked the game, though a little hard.

Very challenging and interesting mechanics, and the art style is nice too! Maybe it will be easier if the barrel is larger?

Super cool @elendow!! I thought I did a super good time in medium (07:57), then I came here, read the comments and got pwnd by the first comment XDD.
I did enjoy a lot the game, I'll definitely try to beat my scores. Love the hook idea, easy to use but hard to master. I also love the mood of the game, that post-processing feels just right.
Congratulations man!

This was the first game of the jam that I played, and I loved it. I could see me sitting for hours fighting with those barrels. Fantastic job.
Took me 7:32 but I did it! Very clever mechanics, peaceful music, great *thud* noise on the barrel :P Good submission!
Wonderful game! I think... I did more damage then helping, but I managed :D
Congrats for the game! It's a well-rounded, polished submission. The game mechanic is quite interesting, although I'm clumsy for these types of games (it took me 6:46 to fetch all the barrels in easy mode). I love the whole mood of the game, set by a coherent art style, nice post-processing effects and a fitting music track.

Very interesting mechanic ! could easily be the base for a longer game
What an interesting game! I agree with the people that have already said that this is very polished. I really enjoyed playing the game, the mechanic is very original and challeging, my first score was 6:24, struggling a lot at the beginning hahaha. The use of the barrel stains to remember the paths seems very intelligent to me btw! Greetings from Spain :) Captura de pantalla 2021-04-29 004528.png

Very enjoyable to play and lovely visuals. It takes a while to master but once you do it's pretty fun and satisfying to finally maneuver a barrel into the elengreen. Well done!

Amazing physics, great topic (Elengreen xD), I love the splashes of color when the barrels hit the rocks  Took me 4:33 in easy mode, is this super bad?? Which is your own record?

Thanks everyone for the great feedback and comments, I'm super glad that you liked the game.
@laurari my best time on easy is 1:35 but I'm the dev, it's not a fair play :)

Great game feel, visuals are super clean and there are lots of small details (the tiny fish swimming in the background <3) that enhance the whole package. The music choice fit well and helped set the mood.
Gameplay-wise, it looks super hard at first sight, but once you figure out the controls it is actually really fair and responsive, so the challenge at that point becomes ADDICTING.
One minor, super silly and subjective element I'm sort of having a bit of a dilemma is the splats. They're great to offer visual feedback, but at the same time I can't help thinking about the game "narrative" and pondering if those leaks I'm leaving all over the rocks are actually polluting the sea more than just leaving the sealed barrel at the bottom
Regardless of this, execution is super solid it fits the theme perfectly and it's fun as heck. Congrats!

Very nice graphics and sound! It's a bit hard to play at first but once you get used to it it's kinda addictive. I think the waste splats should penalize your score somehow

Great job to get the balance on this sort of game so good in only 72 hours! it was frustrating but fair and I felt myself getting better the more I played. There were some great moments of rage when I accidentally slammed the cannisters back down. Loved the little splat effect and the postprocessing was a nice effect but I think maybe a little too heavy handed. This is such a good complete package and great entry!
Quite difficult but interesting game mechanics :) The overall graphics and experience is also very polished :) Good job!

Amazing i love your game. Its just Fun to play.
The Graphics are good. The music is also good, very fitting for your game
The Hole game is a bit difficult, but feels amazing when you master it. Even if you took 8 minutes to complete is, like mine.
You did a great job :)

I really like the idea for movement. Execution of it feels great and it encourages to get better at the game. Overall awesome gameplay. If that wasn't enough, there is also a great music and graphics with neat details! Very nice and polished entry! :D

Who knew "submarines with grappling hooks" would be a mini-theme this year?
It looks like a good concept. but way too hard for me even on easy mode. I think maybe my computer was too slow, so the barrels didn't bounce very high at all. The sounds of the barrel hitting the rock were nice and the splashes too.

This game is genius. It is same time frustrating and very hilarious. Mechanic of moving yourself and moving barrels with same action is super fun. I would love to see this game f.e. in Steam some day.
Nice Idea, but it was very difficult to control and pulling the barrels up was even harder. The graphics and mood were pretty good and the audio and sounds was good as well. The mechanics could use some work and the movement could be better but great start!
This is such a cool game. The mechanics reminded me a lot of games like jump king or getting over it! This was really cool. I think it would have been cool to manouver one or two objects through a whole set of obstacles using these mechanics! There is so much fun stuff you could do! This is a really solid entry.
Also, sub 5! hookmarine.png

This game is Miniclip incarnate, and I love it. I really like how difficult it seemed at first, but I legit could feel my skill growing the more I played it. It's reaaaaallly tough to pull off those "tough but fair" games, but I feel like this one nails it. Definitely one of my favorites for sure!
