Your game is very fun and dangerous xD It's a very original idea!

This is so silly it's amazing. This should be the new standard for speeddating around the globe.
I really liked it! The questions were a bit silly. My feedback: - you can always drive safely behind date's car - a little bit more time for the conversation or faster text scrolling would be useful
Okay, this was really fun ! I thought that it would be similar to TEXT AND DRIVE, but the idea of literally approach someone on the road is a fantastic twist. The surrounding gameplay/art details are nice (the road panels, the road curvature, the increasing speed...). Would have loved some sound design.
The angle allowed to look at the other face is maybe a bit too permissive, as we can find a sweet spot where the questions are asked and the incoming traffic is visible. It would be evilish but maybe nice to force looking straight to the face, forcing the player to make quick stressed looks to the road.

@La-mecanique-du-plastique Thank you for the feedback! The balancing was really hard on this one, since we weren't sure how long it should take for the questions to pop up, therefore having stricter angles had a huge impact on difficulty since you cannot answer questions before their textbox animation has played out.
@PsilocybeGames thank you for the feedback aswell! The driving behind the Date's car was originally planned not to be safe, but we realized we had no real pause button/ pause menu and too little time to make one, so we settled on keeping a little safe space.
Also you can skip trough most of the statements using the Left Mouse Button
Really fun cute concept.
Wow this game is awesome! I absolutely love the concept of this and I think your choice of style fits perfectly with this game! I think the way you combined a Racing Game and a Dating Simulator is extremely well done and you definitely deserve a top spot for this Ludum Dare!
BAHAHAha I love the concept. Great work guys. check out our entry if you get a chance. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/mulligun
Still less stressful than dating IRL. Loved it, I was disappointed lack of sound effects though, could have made it seem even more chaotic
Nice game! Fun to play and a good level of difficulty. Frustrating enough to be challenging but not enough to make me want to give up 😆
Such a fun game! I'm glad that you managed to get yours much more finished than mine; it's cool to see someone successfully pull off the 'date whilst being distracted by something else' thing. In fact, I think you did a really fantastic job... It wasn't too easy, it wasn't too hard, and I had a great time overall. Plus, I have to say that I really love the visual style - there's something extremely charming about it.
Great work!
Absolutely hilarious and really innovative game. When I first pulled up beside my love interest and the game-show style question board popped up I cracked up. This game is super funny and a hoot to play, but I experienced some bugs in the questions with stored "favorite" values changing and being inconsistent. Aside from improving the questions the pacing, polish, and gameplay were excellent.
@troll-tamer-games thanks for playing our game! We really appreciate the feedback and I am glad you enjoyed it! I really speeded most of the textboxes code, and it seems to be sometimes skipping important messages. At some point I gave up looking for all the bugs, and just tried to patch things up by having the street signs give you the right answers. Actually I am really relieved that this is the only kind of bug that the Dialog system produces.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. The graphics are exactly what they need to be and the theme combination is derpy but absolutely awesome. I had a great laugh playing this game. Very bloody good job!
The worst way for a speeddating, but for a game, it's a very neat use of the theme, I found it fun and hilarious. Plus, the combination is not only on the gameplay drive and dating : it's a memory game too. Very well done!
It is very good, funny use of theme. Good job!
I think a crash to almost every car! Fun and challenging game.
Definitely the funniest use of the theme that I've seen so far. I love the road signs, too. Great job!
Dude. 5/5. In every aspect. Simple yet VERY WELL executed! I had a blast haha.
Great graphics, fun concept. Mood is one of the best I've seen in a LD game.
Great idea, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Although I was a bit confused what happens with the hearts at the top at the start. I also used a dating sim as one of my genres so I like seeing what others have combined it with.
Fun game! Great work!
I really enjoyed the cross between dating and driving. It was nicely polished and a good execution of the idea, had fun playing through it :)
I liked the idea :)! You perfectly match the theme and found a great idea through it! Nice job!
PS: I think the game would be more enjoyable with a bit of music. You didn't want to be rated on audio of course, so it doesn't count in my ratings, but for a post-jam version maybe… :)
This was really hard, but so much fun. Them graphics are so cute and dialogs funny as hell. It got a bit frustrating in some parts, but overall one of my favourites :)
Love it! Strikes the perfect balance of avoiding the obstacles and trying to pay attention. Was satisfying to finish it!
This is a great idea! Very fun and unique concept, I love it.
Loved the game, unique, innovative and very funny! Also the graphics were a good fit!
Thanks for the feedback everyone who I did not mention specifically yet! We really appreciate every single comment!
The concept is really good! The first time I touched a car i was:"Wow, what was that ?!" ^^ It's really good. If you want another version of a dating sim, check out our game, "Date Fighter", only for 2 players.

"Are you paying attention to me?", hahaha! The idea is awesome and so hilarious. The toon graphics are perfect for this game. Congratulations!
It was really fun, I loved it. I managed to win, but now I want to kill my date (always asking the same silly questions, oh god). x'D Great work. o/
Love the idea! But now I am imagining that all the other drivers in the other cars tried to find love too and I just killed them 😨
@mil Thanks for the feedback! I can assure that no love seeking slow drivers were hurt in the process of making this game!
What an adorable game! Such an interesting idea, I had a lot of fun playing it :) only slight issue I had was accidentally clipping cars when I didn't realise I would but I suppose thats part of the difficulty :p Thanks!
A cool game, but the fact that you have to stay at an exact spot don't really help to mixed the two gameplay. Most of time, we dodge car until we have an oppening to go talk with her. But the global idea and the way to make it graphicly was fun, and the sign to help you is REALLY a great idea ! And the control was smooth and easy, and I love the menu ! Like yeah, it' work !
That was funny! I love the concept and the art and writing were spot on. It could have used some sound, though. Good job!
This is really funny! The graphics are fantastic for its tone and the gameplay is really polished!
A very minor issue is that one time I had to drive away while they were talking to me, so I didn't get to see their favorite personality trait.
@Dovakla thank you for the feedback! Yeah i really did not want this to happen. I tried to patch it up but it ended up consuming alot of time and after 48 of nosleep i just felt too tired to deal with it so i gave up fixing that  I hope it did not bother you too much!
@Elbcore it wasn't too bad! I guessed the right answer anyway.
Pretty good. Audio would really help, make it a lot more tense.

In all seriousness though, there could've been a few more questions in the pool but other than that a great entry!
Good job! Cool game!
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.
I hope you continue with the project.

This premise is absolutely absurd. I love it.
