| Oct 4 20:21:22 | LD54_Clean the Valley | ♥ 2 | This is a great zen game, very smooth atmosphere. Love the Bob-Ross-Esque background. Some more contrast would have been fun but nonetheless great entry, well done ! :) | |
| Oct 4 20:23:03 | 1m 41s | Trilunaris | ♥ 3 | I like this game :) Very relaxed, the type of feeling I had first playing "Spore". Low poly for the win ! |
| Oct 4 20:24:45 | 1m 42s | Contact Range | ♥ 1 | Some serious binding of isaac vibes :) I liked it. I honestly have to admit I felt disoriented sometimes, but that might as well have been the post LD fatigue :) Nonetheless, I like this ! |
| Oct 4 20:26:48 | 2m 03s | LD54 - Pack-Man's limited space | ♥ 1 | Great take. It needs some polish but this is a Jam game :) |
| Oct 4 20:28:28 | 1m 40s | Chemical Rakoon | ♥ 3 | Ok... I love the artwork and the aesthetics , it all comes nicely together. I'm a big fan of high atmosphere games and you've really pulled it off ! |
| Oct 4 20:30:27 | 1m 59s | Legends of Lore | ♥ 2 | This was very fun and definitely worth grabbing my controllers from under the dust ! Insanely good music. This is one of those games that can be the seed to something bigger :) |
| Oct 4 20:32:40 | 2m 13s | Rush Hour | ♥ 1 | Oh dear lord, this brings so many ideas at the same time to my tiny head... I'm having clear fall guys vibes... combined with some drifting Mario Kart style... Then I realized this is how real life works. But ok back to your game, the graphics are simple yet effective, the audio fits the same bill. It all fits together, well done ! |
| Oct 4 20:35:45 | 3m 05s | Bimbi's Cosmo Party | ♥ 3 | This is a lot of complexity for such a short jam ! Highly impressed, great job. |
| Oct 4 20:37:47 | 2m 02s | Auto Crabler | ♥ 1 | While the game could benefit from some additional polishing in terms of graphics and overall presentation, I found the gameplay experience to be quite enjoyable and engaging. With some further refinement, this game has the potential to become a real gem in the gaming world ! |
| Oct 4 20:40:22 | 2m 35s | Space Corridor | ♥ 1 | I'm honestly not sure what to make of this :) I am going to be positive and praise you for the work, for sure. But you're clearly using assets that you don't have the rights to, which are the main part of your presentation. You probably should have opted out of graphics for that reason. |
| Oct 4 20:42:14 | 1m 52s | Hydro Rise | ♥ 3 | I was thoroughly impressed by the stunning graphics and the incredible detail put into the water in this game. It's a visual feast, and I can't wait to see how this promising title evolves and potentially becomes an even more expansive and immersive experience. |
| Oct 4 20:44:45 | 2m 31s | Cavescape | ♥ 5 | I am actually completely jealous about the detail and cleverness that went in the level design. I like it, it feels fresh for the longest of times. Great job ! |
| Oct 4 20:49:45 | 5m 00s | Rafty Crab | ♥ 1 | Another Kuvi Classic, can play this for an entire stream. It all comes together, love it Speaking of, did you know this man streams the development during LD? Thank you so much for making this and for being the background noise I needed! |
| Oct 4 20:56:12 | 6m 27s | Carrotiles | ♥ 1 | I love this entry. Sure it needs more polish, obviously... it's a game jam game, all participants would say the same :) But what really sold this one is the magic by which you introduce game mechanics to the player. Well done, solid entry ! |
| Oct 4 20:59:48 | 3m 36s | Shark Barrage 2: Farming to Freedom Edition | ♥ 0 | Oof, by reading the comments I realize that I'm not alone in this. It's not the easiest of games to understand, maybe you could provide a more elaborate tutorial on the game's page? Other than that, nice management game, great entry :) |
| Oct 4 21:03:59 | 4m 11s | Calamari Odyssey | ♥ 2 | Very fast game. It literally goes from zero to 100 in no time flat. It might be nice to have the difficulty ramp up a bit , so players can easily learn what the goal is. But apart from gameplay, and this is coming from someone who grew up on DOOM, this first person billboarded game is really cool ! :D |
| Oct 4 21:15:54 | 11m 55s | Critical Core | ♥ 3 | Amazing entry, addictive as heck! The audio is perfection :) I'll bookmark this one to get that highscore later on ;) Well done. |
| Oct 4 21:26:26 | 10m 32s | A Pawfect Date: Pomo's Cozy Romance | ♥ 1 | Great job :) Every little bit is entertaining, but the cherry on top for me is the music. Loved it. |
| Oct 4 21:56:57 | 30m 31s | Robo Rush Hour | ♥ 2 | Great entry! At first it was pretty rough to figure out where the blocks were going, but once my tiny bird-brain wrapped around it, I really enjoyed it. Everything comes together nicely :) Thank you for making this ! |
| Oct 4 22:01:38 | 4m 41s | The Fregstival | ♥ 1 | Every time I think you guys reached the peak of creativity in an LD entry, you flip the table (pun intended) and come up with something as crazy as a food-fight frog banquet. Love the graphics, love the feel, it all clicks together by itself. Everything feels very natural and challenging. So far, my favorite entry ! |
| Oct 4 22:18:37 | 16m 59s | Escape from the clutches | ♥ 1 | I truly appreciate the exceptional artwork and the wonderful voice acting in the game; they genuinely enhance the overall experience. It's undeniably cute and enjoyable. However, there are some aspects of the gameplay that I believe could benefit from improvement. I find myself frequently relying on a specific set of actions, such as spamming attacks and utilizing specific abilities like stunning and shielding against particular enemy attacks. It would be wonderful if the gameplay encouraged more diverse strategies and tactics to keep it engaging throughout. Additionally, I've noticed that sometimes the game's victory conditions feel a bit abrupt. It would be more satisfying if there were opportunities for a more gradual depletion of my health before the final confrontation. This would add an extra layer of challenge and excitement to the gameplay. Overall, I genuinely adore the game, and I believe that these minor adjustments could make it even more enjoyable for players like me who appreciate a bit more variety and depth in their gaming experiences. |
| Oct 4 22:20:09 | 1m 32s | Plate of War | ♥ 1 | Very decent entry :) Well done and thank you. I love the particular style of visuals you've used ! |
| Oct 4 22:23:01 | 2m 52s | Bit Golf | ♥ 1 | I've seen this being made and I've seen BadCop rise up like a phoenix... The theme broke the man but he just got up and spun out this beauty :) Great entry, fits the theme perfectly and is innovative as can be. Thank you for making this ! |
| Oct 4 22:30:03 | 7m 02s | Quetzals & Ladders | ♥ 3 | Impressive concept with engaging gameplay! I thoroughly enjoyed my playthrough to the very end. One standout feature was the remarkably well-executed movement animations of the snake – achieving smooth snake movement on a grid is no small feat, and you've nailed it here. |
| Oct 4 22:34:54 | 4m 51s | Pegaseal | ♥ 1 | Augmented Reality is underrated. This is extremely cool and I want to personally thank you for making it. Well done, max scores all round, as everything came together. I'll be sure to let my kids have a go, I'm sure they'll have a blast ! |
| Oct 4 22:37:05 | 2m 11s | PHYLLON | ♥ 1 | Very interesting concept. It surely needs some polish to make it feel more crisp and intuitive, but there's definitely potential. As a bioinformatician I really appreciate life sciences and biotech inspired games. Overall, great entry, but needs some oompf :) |
| Oct 7 07:24:17 | 56h 47m | AnathemA | ♥ 1 | If there were a category for atmosphere, you'd instantly have won (mood +5 for sure). This all comes together so nicely. Difficulty ramping is perfect for a Jam, the weapons feel crunchy... I don't have much comments at all. One of my favorites ! |
| Oct 7 09:14:04 | 1h 49m | Function f | ♥ 1 | Simple yet effective, I like this type of educational games. If only I would have had this when I was learning algebra 20 years ago... Great and solid entry ! |
| Oct 7 09:22:13 | 8m 09s | ASTROLIZWILL - An 80's Handheld Space Adventure | ♥ 2 | Many years ago... I remembered my grandmother had an attic with some retro toys and games from the early eighties. These sounds, this feeling, it brings me back there. For people that know the movie "Ratatouille", I had the same moment the criticaster had at the end. Well done, great entry. I have trouble putting it down :) |
| Oct 7 21:00:11 | 11h 37m | Rover Under | ♥ 3 | I absolutely love the flying and painting game! It's such a unique and enjoyable experience. The concept of soaring through a vast map while trying to paint it with your colors is not only fun but also oddly satisfying. What makes this game even better is its team-building aspect. Playing with friends and working together to conquer the map adds a fantastic social element to the game. It's a great way to bond with friends or even build stronger connections with colleagues. Innovation category winner. |
| Oct 7 21:34:10 | 33m 59s | Fowl Play | ♥ 3 | I absolutely loved this game! The voice acting was exceptional, truly bringing the characters to life. The graphics were stunning, and I was impressed by the innovative gameplay ! I successfully identified the right suspect, which made me feel accomplished. Even though I got a bit lost in the plot due to some similar-looking characters and unique names, it didn't dampen my enjoyment. The game's interpretation of the theme, with everything unfolding in a small, limited space like a play, was a breath of fresh air. It may not have had a significant impact on gameplay, but it added a unique and creative aspect to the game. Major kudos to the developers of this game, in my humble opinion it deserves a very high rating ! |
| Oct 8 18:01:24 | 20h 27m | The Big Crunch | ♥ 3 | Having a full assortment of mini games is incredibly difficult especially during a jam, everything looks and feels very crisp and polished, all felt fair. Really a great entry, thank your making this, great concept and I hope to see more of it in the future ! |
| Oct 8 18:10:30 | 9m 06s | Voyd | ♥ 1 | Very simple yet satisfying concept. I really enjoyed the bullethell ! It's amazingly clever to make the playfield shrink when you miss the enemy. All came together nicely, very crisp and clean. Well done ! Thank you for submitting this game to the stream :D |
| Oct 8 18:55:42 | 45m 12s | Tabletrack Turbulence | ♥ 1 | I really appreciate the novel way of interacting / inputting control for movement. At first I was under the assumption that it was a drag-to-release. Very good, all game together nicely, consistent style and audio, I think this made for a very fun and quirky game. The voice acting made me chuckle very bad, well done ! |
| Oct 8 19:11:27 | 15m 45s | The Giant's Globe | ♥ 3 | I really enjoyed this game, short, snappy and simple ! Controls were a bit floaty but it is an ice-world after all so that's just perfect. I really like the puzzle aspect of getting skill in the right order, but it might have been nice to have more options than just 2 skills. Then again ,it is a jam and this definitely is one of the better puzzle games I've seen, thank you for making this ! |
| Oct 8 19:28:44 | 17m 17s | Crime Critters (Rob the British Museum) | ♥ 1 | This is just simply a perfect jam game ! I really can see this becoming a smash hit on the nintendo switch for example. Art is amazing, audio is on point, everything is coherent and the theme was smashed. Well done, I think I've found the winner of LD54 ! |
| Oct 8 19:48:23 | 19m 39s | Hardpoint | ♥ 4 | This is an amazing entry, reminds me of a game I had when I was a kid like 25 years ago, really good take on the theme, made me feel very powerful chasing down enemy mechs while dodging mortar fire. Audio and visuals are very coherent, all made sense, would definitely play a finalized version of this, well done and thank you for making and submitting this ! |
| Oct 8 19:57:30 | 9m 07s | Calves of the Braves | ♥ 1 | Love the artwork, very consistent. The only thing I'm missing a bit is a more upbeat soundtrack, it is a sumo game after all :p It did work out in the end, I can see this being a fun multiplayer partygame, kinda like fall guys ? Well done and thank you for submitting this gem to my stream. |
| Oct 8 20:58:23 | 1h 00m | Rolling Over It | ♥ 1 | Really nice concept, frustrating but fair ! There were some minor glitches but I only noticed them because I was clicking over 1000 times :p So it was bound to happen now and then. Everything comes together nicely, and it was a real joy to play. Usually I don't have the patience to play games like this all the way through, but I actually enjoyed this. Well done and thank you for submitting ! Capture.PNG |
| Oct 8 21:20:03 | 21m 40s | ROLLiE and the Desert Drive | ♥ 2 | Thank you for submitting this game, it has so much going on, really impressive. I like the aspect of a turned based combat game mixed in with proper strategy and stacking. Everything was coming together very coherently, I really liked playing it. Well done, +1 for robots ! :D |
| Oct 8 21:40:44 | 20m 41s | Wizard n' Slims | ♥ 2 | Very nice game. It was a bit struggling to figure out what to do, but that was completely on me. Well done ! Great entry, simple graphics BUT perfected graphics, audio and effects were very juicy and it didn't get boring, not even slightly after 75+ levels. Love this one, great game ! |
| Oct 9 18:20:21 | 20h 39m | I Do | ♥ 3 | This game is an absolute blast! It takes a unique spin on the theme and executes it brilliantly. The attention to detail and humor throughout the game is fantastic. The concept of seating guests at a wedding is both fun and challenging. While it might seem like a simple task, the game adds depth with the different personalities and preferences of the guests. You'll find yourself carefully planning who to invite and where to seat them, all while trying to avoid wedding disasters. I can honestly say, getting married IRL was easier :D |
