Oct 9 06:57:09 The Nothings ♥ 1 I was able to beat it! I like the different people I could talk to, attacking the Saddenings was fast, but I regained my hearts so was able to get through the experience and gain enough confidence. I liked you included the shadow underneath you, it was a good indicator for the platforming. Keep up the good work!
Oct 9 07:07:30 10m 21s Ultra Quest ♥ 1 was able to beat it! Liked the transitions and the comedic timing of things. The movement felt a big too fast for me, like everything was sped up a little, which made timing the jumps a bit hard. Sometimes throwing a rock would get stuck on the floor. I felt bad for killing things, perhaps I wasn't supposed to. Anyway, keep up the good work!
Oct 9 07:30:20 22m 50s An Universe From Scratch ♥ 1 was able to beat it! Had to use the cover image hints though, as it's so many possible combinations. It ends up being a lot of guess and check, but I liked some of the surprising combinations.
Oct 9 07:56:43 26m 23s lotor ♥ 1 Really nice! I got to level 10, and accidentally did a spawn death. The raccoon animation is very nice, though the hitbox sometimes feels a bit long (perhaps matching the raccoon but I imagine the raccoon is squishable and can survive some closer calls before exploding). I kept trying to find a shortcut for "retry level" as it's just text and not a button shape, but also every other control is keyboard. The preview in the corner helped me get further along. Nice job!
Oct 15 05:16:03 141h 19m Det Race ♥ 1 Nice art! It was hard for me to control the car, which made it hard to hit the other cars, but like the idea. Keep up the good work!
Oct 15 05:26:01 9m 58s Gargolite ♥ 1 Nice, really good use of path finding! I liked how I could start to form inner and outer rings and sort of a maze to stop the gargoyles. Could see you easily extending this with upgrades or different kind of enemies. Nice job!
Oct 15 05:42:42 16m 41s Blackout ♥ 2 I liked the clues and how you could selectively tell people things. I would've liked to start over before finding out who the killer was though (I got it wrong 😅). Keep up the good work!
Oct 15 05:59:11 16m 29s Unlock Everything ♥ 1 I beat it! I was really bad at surviving, but luckily the restart was at whatever screen I was at. The art and music are great, and the unlocking system worked well with the story. Nice job!
Oct 16 04:42:45 22h 43m Ignis Universia: Eternal Sister Saga ♥ 3 nice art and funny story! The combat was pretty straight forward once I figured out how not to die (shield, heal). Liked the slight puzzle to more party members. nice job!
Oct 16 05:32:37 49m 52s Uballto ♥ 1 very nice! Could see a lot of windows do different things, or having windows resize and do different things. Sometimes it felt a bit physics finicky but overall good exploration of the mechanics presented. Nice job!
Oct 16 05:51:03 18m 26s Some Excavated Wounds ♥ 0 very cool visuals! My laptop is on the older side, so running the game was a bit slow, and the mouse was very sensitive, but was able to get to the statue before I got stuck. I would've liked references for the playback recordings, to look it up further. Nice work!
Oct 16 06:14:57 23m 54s Sabotage ♥ 0 controls were great! I liked picking a guy up and just running around and they would end up killing each other. nice job!
Oct 16 07:23:23 1h 08m Mindmaze ♥ 3 I was able to beat it! A maze itself is not too exciting for me, though seeing the picture come together was nice. It'll be nice if there was a better sense of progression like increasing what I could see or faster movement. Does finding all the pieces of the maze make the person realize it's his birthday? Anyway keep up the good work.
Oct 16 08:04:21 40m 58s You Gotta Buy Everything ♥ 1 beat it! It's really funny how overpowered you can get. The upgrade progression is very nice and you get in a good rhythm of farming money. Keep up the good work!
Oct 16 08:16:42 12m 21s Star Twit: H. Nothing ♥ 0 was able to beat it! had fun, kind of impressive that it still ran with all the physics, though it did slow down on my browser. Controls were hard but was able to make it through. Keep up the good work!
Oct 19 05:04:48 68h 48m Lost in Translation ♥ 1 Interesting! I was able to beat it. I got stuck a while, but that was mostly because I wasn't sure what I could interact with (especially if it was small). But otherwise I liked how you could figure things out through what people were saying. Nice job!
Oct 19 05:17:34 12m 46s He knew it was good ♥ 1 I beat it! I took a bit but after I figured out how to grow fruit or make fish I was able to keep going. There was a lot of spontaneous fire so not sure if it's the best world I made, but o well. Keep up the good work!
Oct 19 05:26:29 8m 55s Nothing Left ♥ 1 Was able to beat it! The narration was helpful in outlining the player's experience. Would be nice to see stronger tie in for what the enemies represent or where the player is. Keep up the good work!
Oct 19 05:36:32 10m 03s The drop to the top ♥ 1 Since the spawner goes left and right pretty quick, I think the optimal strategy is just to spam as many block as possible out to get a higher stack. Since the pieces that come out are random, then the end result could be either player? Perhaps if a player spammed down and held left or right so the likelihood of it stacking against the wall is higher. I liked the visuals, but would like more strategy in the gameplay. Keep up the good work!
Oct 19 05:53:59 17m 27s Master Builder Daedalus ♥ 1 Nice! Here's my final level solution: DaedalusSolution.png The earlier levels felt more puzzle-y as certain pieces only fit in certain ways, the bigger levels felt more like adapt as you go. I lost the last level several times before I figured out pieces for a solution. It was confusing as first that I couldn't place pieces on the question marks, but realized they made their own tile was a piece was placed. I could see some more designed levels, but since you have to guess and check for some of them perhaps a faster restart or a way to undo. Nice job, keep up the good work!
Oct 19 06:17:27 23m 28s Cutey Berry ♥ 1 Wow, very cute! Mechanics were really cool, though took a while to figure out. I have one of those laptop keyboards that doesn't accept more 3 inputs depending on what you're pressing, which can make holding the cat to throw a bit hard, but was able to do it. I think the trick is usually to jump and throw the cat down so it comes back on you standing on it. That last platform (on the sharp strawberry) is moving so fast but I got lucky and was able to beat it. I could imagine some kind of mario maker like level where you have to continuously throw cats and jump on them, but that would be very hard. Perhaps if the cats moved a bit slower. Anyway, good job!
Oct 19 06:40:02 22m 35s My Stuff is in There! ♥ 2 Nice, was able to beat it! The game does a good job taking advantage of people's tendency to click through text, which sort of reflects the initial behavior of the character. It'll be cool if there was a faster ending if the player is paying attention. At first I thought I had to wait to listen, so the dialogue eventually telling me was a good hint haha. The camera movement and sfx for the battle was unexpectedly great. Nice job! (people saying "too much text" strangely antithetical to the game kind of proves a point? 🤷)
Oct 19 07:01:44 21m 42s Carnival Mayhem ♥ 1 nice visuals! Once I was able to get a gun it was pretty straightforward, but nice visual polish! The clowns had a lot of knockback, so it was not as difficult to slowly pick them off, or use a grenade if there was a group of them. Perhaps having different harder clowns that would spawn later or so. Keep up the good work!
Oct 20 04:34:12 21h 32m Wandering Soul ♥ 2 great art and music! The animations were nice, but could be helpful to have feedback if something or you was successfully hit, perhaps particles or something. Design wise, would be nice to see how attacking the enemies helped the player - how is killing the enemies help the player find its element of existence? Perhaps you have to collect something, or perhaps clearing the enemies gives you narrative on what's happening, there's many ways to go about it. Anyway, keep up the good work!
Oct 20 05:04:11 29m 59s Dream Avatar ♥ 1 I got the work option, but kind of by accident by experimenting with the attributes and replaying several times. I then looked at the guide to unlock the other things. I think the hints in the game were good but perhaps too subtle, maybe if there was some text that talked about how you feel can change a person, or since it's a dream perhaps you could change who you are, etc, to nudge/push a person to see the hints a bit more obviously. I liked how some options were disabled because you selected a certain trait, though it could be explained with more narrative where even if you do select it, you back out because the trait doesn't let you (though that might make it harder to figure out which options you haven't tried yet). I think you scoped well with the art, though in future projects certain imagery could be fun to see (like a cat driving a bus). Keep up the good work!
Oct 28 03:34:24 190h 30m PixelGod ♥ 1 Fun! I created some post-apocalyptic landscape. Metal was the hardest to come by for me, I think I basically smashed things together so not sure how exactly makes it. Cool to have each pixel have certain properties and have them react with each other. Nice job! pixelGod.png
Oct 28 04:01:21 26m 57s Sluggish Grind ♥ 1 Nice, beat it was 210 coins. It took be a while to figure out to press x at the door again to beat it haha. Perhaps having an x appear when you can interact with something. Was able to figure out the spike jump using recoil, which was clever. Like the black and white art, simple but works well. Nice job!
Oct 28 04:07:51 6m 30s Celia's Lightmare ♥ 2 Nice art! Really like the restricted color palette. I was able to refresh once, but the enemies were much too fast the 2nd time around. Would like some indicators or something so I can tell something is coming up from behind. Keep up the good work!
