Maybe with a sweet music of those kind of "deep space" musics it could be awesome ^^ I think the idea is good and the graphics too, but maybe you should make the gameplay a little harder, because I just pressed some buttons and do not really understood what I did (herrr, yes, I colonised and terraformed planets, but well..). You just added one feature, the rest is exactly the same as this game. The thing is that someone who makes a clone of pong, space invaders or tetris for exemple make something different with the concept (or not, but in this case, the game has no interest) to fit with their way to see their game, and to do not steal an idea that is not theirs. But in your case... You respected the theme, but the rest of the gameplay is not by you. I am quite embarrassed... The game is well reproduced, and that is a good point for only 48 hours... But you get my point of view. That is not really YOUR game. You didn't make something unique with the gameplay of Super Crate Box. And more of that, you could make something different with weapons, or something, make a different kind of map. Or even change the way the ennemies looks like... So I salute the hard work to reproduce the game in 48 hours. Keep coding. |
