| May 1 17:08:18 | Little Remains | ♥ 2 | Really liked it, great looking, nice sounds and great atmosphere. It was sometimes difficult to work out where I could go - but I managed to finish it. Well done! Thanks a lot for sharing! | |
| May 1 17:16:01 | 7m 43s | Hexoworld 9999 | ♥ 0 | I really liked the way the planet deforms as it gets attacked - definitely interesting. It also takes a while to get going, but once you get some power ups, it's fun. Sometimes slightly frustrating because you can't control your aiming that well? Well done! Thanks a lot for sharing! |
| May 1 17:25:48 | 9m 47s | The Land We Must Take (La Terre qu'il nous faut conquérir) | ♥ 1 | I'm playing on my own, but played the two player mode against myself. Took me a while to work out what I was supposed to be doing - but once I got it, I can really see the game in there! I really like the look of it reckon you could definitely build on this as well if you wanted too. Well done! Thanks for sharing! |
| May 1 17:36:40 | 10m 52s | LOST PLANET(oid) | ♥ 1 | Nice little world - I couldn't finish it though - just couldn't find one of the items (last on the right of the inventory?). Either way, I was having fun exploring to see what was around - the controls remind me of Smash TV (which I played a lot of on the Megadrive) - so got the hang of it. Just the delay between hitting space and actually firing feels a little bit sluggish? Well done! Thanks a lot for sharing! |
| May 1 17:43:08 | 6m 28s | Blackhole Escape INC | ♥ 0 | Good atmosphere and stylish art. Really struggled with the controls, just couldn't get my head round them! Well done! Thanks a lot for sharing! |
| May 1 17:54:49 | 11m 41s | Colorfly | ♥ 1 | The time you put into the music paid off - it definitely drives the game. Otherwise, it's got a nice coherent style. Well done! Thanks for sharing! |
| May 6 17:19:25 | 119h 24m | Slime Assault | ♥ 0 | Good work for making a MP game, but I can't find anyone to play with, sorry! |
| May 6 17:25:09 | 5m 44s | Sandelipe Boxenan | ♥ 1 | Cool idea! Coherent looking, I like the 'light', fun atmosphere as well. I can't for the life of me work out a strategy to get my population very high? Should I be feeding the predators? Trying to keep them away from the little ones? Not sure - but had a lot of fun trying to work it out. Like the ranking at the end as well! Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 6 17:30:08 | 4m 59s | Koffer | ♥ 1 | Really interesting, I like the opening and the 'tilt-shift' camera type effect. Couldn't quite work out the scoring, but enjoyed watching the ivy growing! Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 6 17:45:37 | 15m 29s | Tiny Venture | ♥ 0 | Interesting game! I was doing ok on health, harvesting and water, but I couldn't work out how to get more oxygen, so I died... Liked the graphics and eerie music as well. Thanks a lot for sharing, well done! |
| May 6 17:52:19 | 6m 42s | Gnome Digger | ♥ 1 | Always a fan of the classic Motherload style gameplay! The first pickaxe is a bit slow, which I think makes it tough to get into at the beginning, but things pick up when you can get a drill. Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 6 18:03:55 | 11m 36s | Planetoid Escape | ♥ 0 | The core idea definitely works, zipping around a tiny planet to get enough fuel for you ship. There's lots of stuff you could do with the idea - well done on getting your first LD finished! |
| May 6 18:20:06 | 16m 11s | Timeless | ♥ 1 | Well done, very coherent and developed core idea. Managed to get all the way through, but no way I could get all the apples - too tough for me! Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 6 18:29:14 | 9m 08s | Little Worlds! And a pixel | ♥ 1 | Cute game! Obviously short, but everything that was there worked well - nice ending as well! Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 8 18:33:45 | 48h 04m | C_NFINEMENT R__M | ♥ 0 | Really interesting, simple and effective graphics and sound - good concept. Had varying success with the riddles, but on the whole, fun. Thanks for sharing, well done! |
| May 8 18:46:23 | 12m 38s | Strangeness | ♥ 2 | Interesting entry! I quite liked the graphics and sound, gave me the feeling of an old PC demo disk of the front of a magazine (ah, nostalgia). I think the main area for improvement would be to try and communicate some of the mechanics better? For example, it took me a while to realise I could push rocks - so rather than trying to work out the solution to the puzzle I couldn't continue till I walked into the right area of the environment. On the whole though, enjoyed myself. Thanks for sharing, well done! |
| May 8 19:21:13 | 34m 50s | Cell Division | ♥ 1 | Great looking game and fun concept. The mouse movement is good for aiming but not so much for moving - also thought that the shooting feels a bit inaccurate? But that might just be the way the rockets fly out (which looks really cool by the way). Really interesting. Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 8 19:33:20 | 12m 07s | Evolve | ♥ 1 | Great looking game with a good core concept - really feel like the camera is main thing holding it back? As soon as you get out of the small circle, you can't really see anything going on (and when the enemies explode, the camera kind of pulls towards them). Liked the sound effects that were in the game a lot, a bit of music would go a long way I reckon. Well done! Thanks for sharing! |
| May 8 19:39:59 | 6m 39s | Gaia | ♥ 2 | Really good looking game with a fun core concept. It's probably just me, but I really struggled with the controls - not really being able to get the clouds to go where I wanted to! Great atmosphere though. Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 8 19:54:16 | 14m 17s | The Life Amoebic | ♥ 0 | I actually really enjoyed this. Very relaxing. Found the controls quite weird... but you are an amoeba. My favourite parts were the sound, particularly the little tinkling noise when eating things. Really well done! Thanks for sharing! |
| May 8 19:59:30 | 5m 14s | Mr. Smith | ♥ 1 | It's a really strong core idea (and looks good). The controls are reeeeealy tough to get the hand of - it's quite hard to find the point between jumping right on the edge, and turning the corner so you fly off into space, and you're punished a lot for small mistakes. On the whole though, really glad I got the chance to play it. With more time, you could develop it a lot. Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 8 20:07:50 | 8m 20s | Spider Collider | ♥ 1 | Absolutely love the vector-style graphics, as well as the music and the sound, really cool. As with others, I cheesed my way though the whole thing by hammering space - but - I did get through the whole thing because of the way it looked and sounded. Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 10 18:03:19 | 45h 55m | Signal? | ♥ 1 | Really cool entry, loved the aesthetic and sound - very strong core mechanical concept as well. The progression was a bit confusing at times, but I feel like that was intentional. Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 10 18:09:02 | 5m 43s | The Adventurer Davidson | ♥ 1 | Good looking game with an interesting core concept! Found that I had a few problems with hitboxes on the hazards and because i'm playing with the keyboard, it would be really good to be able to restart with the keyboard when I die. Well done, thanks a lot for sharing! |
| May 10 18:19:39 | 10m 37s | Wandering Planet | ♥ 0 | An interesting idea - I also had trouble because ctrl does weird things in my browser. Got quite a big cluster of planets though! As it starts to zoom out the background made me feel a bit sick and you can't see the asteroids very well. Well done, thanks a lot for sharing! |
| May 10 18:30:21 | 10m 42s | Neuroso | ♥ 1 | I like your ambition a lot - good looking game, nice sound and music. Found some of the gameplay a bit frustrating - you have to be really on point in the first level to stay ahead of [REDACTED FOR SPOILERS] and in the second level the spikes are really tough to see. Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 10 18:36:22 | 6m 01s | Invaders of Yekithar | ♥ 1 | Good entry, bonus points for a chunky gun with screen shake and knockback! Graphics and sound were fun - I think you were a bit stingy with the platforms (they're really small). Had a lot of fun blasting aliens. Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 10 18:42:05 | 5m 43s | Little Space | ♥ 0 | Good entry, it's got a nice coherent look to it and some cool music. A bit more teaching of how to play, and some feedback when hitting the interceptor button would be great, I might be stupid, but I didn't make the connection between the blue ships and the button very quickly! Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 10 18:48:31 | 6m 26s | Be Like Bee | ♥ 0 | Fun entry! The bee was quite big on the minimap, and I didn't even know I had a timer - but I did enjoy flying around a bit hunting down flowers. Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 10 19:32:57 | 44m 26s | A Mote in the Dark | ♥ 2 | Interesting game - I really like the monochromatic art style, the mood/music and the 'linking' mechanic. You can see the work you put into the mechanics - but none of your big description really translates into gameplay? Ultimately, it boils down to 'click on stuff as fast as possible' with the main strategy being timing about when you click on the other orbs. Overall a really interesting idea. Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 10 19:40:55 | 7m 58s | Enlightenment | ♥ 0 | Like the art, music and overall atmosphere a lot. The core mechanic is very interesting, but is very punishing - I mean by that, that if the player is bad, you are then punished with no visibility, making it even harder to find what you are looking for. The 'pick stuff up to see more' thing is a good idea though. Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 16 19:11:19 | 143h 30m | The Curious Adventures of Ant, the Inebriated Ant | ♥ 0 | I think I enjoyed this a whole lot more than I should have! The flailing ant was very fun. I particularly liked the horizontal levels with water and the lillypads - and the levels with a lot of vertical obstacles - I found you can get a lot of momentum going. The areas to improve would be sound, graphics, etc - but I genuinely had fun and played till the end. Well done, thanks for sharing! |
| May 16 19:21:05 | 9m 46s | World Collector | ♥ 1 | A very interesting and original concept! I liked the core of the gameplay and i'm a sucker for chiptune soundtracks - found it a little tough to work out what I was doing wrong when trying to defend my drills/shrinkers, so a little more direction would be good. Well done! Thanks for sharing! |
| May 16 19:28:27 | 7m 22s | Contamination | ♥ 1 | An interesting idea! Liked the easy to grasp gameplay - but thought that eventually the difficulty ramps up a bit far and you end up shooting a lot of your own cells trying to defend them (maybe kind of the point - but I still had to try and keep them alive). Well done, thanks for sharing! |
