Apr 24 19:14:00 Light the Lighthouse [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
I loved the opening title on this and the graphics and sound were quite good. The game itself was quite hard to get into and it took me many deaths to even realise what the game was and what I was supposed to do. An interesting idea but gameplay could use a lot of tweaking.
Apr 24 19:32:00 18m 00s Planetship [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
The idea for this game seems pretty cool and the sounds were good, but I couldn't really get into this game at all. I even restarted a few times to read the controls screen to see if there was something I was missing. The controls themselves seemed awkward with the mouse being used for look and the cursor at the same time. Hope this doesn't come off as too harsh as I do like the idea and think it could be cool with a bit of work.
Apr 24 19:54:00 22m 00s Submarine: This Ain't Your Momma's Bathtub, Tovarisch [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Let me preface this by saying I am not much of a reader. This led me to skip what was to me an overwhelming amount of text and from what I can make out much of the core of the game. The game itself was very difficult to understand as there was no notes as to what I should be doing. It was only until I came back to this webpage that I realised there was a help screen. On first playing through I assumed 'About' was information on how the game was made or similar. On the plus side though I did like the feel of the game, the music in particular added a lot to it.
Apr 24 20:06:00 12m 00s Corgi Recon Force [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
I like the mood the game sets up from the outset, just the title itself made me smile. As for the game itself I found the movement felt pretty good for the most part but there seemed to be a lot of oddities with it at places. The graphics could use some work, particularly underground where the background gets a lot of contrast which makes objects harder to see. The open level design was very overwhemling for me and it is probably that alone that made me put down the game. I like the idea of the probe as well but I think it could use some tweaking and perhaps it could show the directions of nearby parts.
Apr 24 20:18:00 12m 00s Tiny Squareheads [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Sorry to say I did not make it to the second level. I liked the music and feel for this game. Even though the grahpics were basic I wouldn't consider them bad. There seems to be a bug with movement when you are next to some blocks. Also the attack doesn't work the way it looks like it should. Jumping up and breathing down on monsters does not work even though the animation shows them being hit by it. The other thing I found lacking was a lack of controls tutorial in the game. It was only open seeing an enemy I could not pass at all that I button mashed and found the attack.
Apr 24 20:43:00 25m 00s Calamity [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
In the game I noticed what seemed like a collision bug when approaching some tiles from an angle. The exploration mechanic was cool but the open level design and searching for a needle in a haystack style gameplay didn't really click too well with me and that is what made me put down the game. One thing I would have loved to see is a 'you are here' on the map. Great to see you had fun making this, keep it up :)
Apr 24 20:46:00 3m 00s Run, Unicorn, Run! [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Graphics look good. Sadly unable to play (No Mac)
Apr 24 20:48:00 2m 00s Pieces [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Web player seemed to bug out for me (not sure what happened). Grabbing files now to play.
Apr 24 21:16:00 28m 00s The Tiny World of Fiorella [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Love the look and feel. Music was wonderful. Difficulty seemed to ramp down instead of up though. At the start of the game I was very heavily struggling but as I got pickups I just zerged through until the boss (where I died). I didn't feel as if I could have fared much better against the boss no matter how I played. Didn't play the Post Jam version so that may have addressed some of those issues. I think the game could benefit from some knockback on your weapons or some way to avoid melee damage better. Overall good work!
P.S. Loved the look of the weapons. Very creative :)
Apr 24 21:33:00 17m 00s Rockland [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
This game could have really benefitted from audio. Other than that it was a decent, short and to the point game. Difficulty was fairly well balanced. I think I got through on my first go with very little HP remaining. The opening animation with the text was a little slow to the point where it was annoying but not enough to skip. Overall not a bad game :)
Apr 24 21:44:00 11m 00s Celluloid Combat! [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Good concept! Unfortunately I didn't notice that I had to install the font until after playing through. Couple of other things that annoyed me were not being able to reload after dying and stuff spawning right near me when I first started. Movement also felt a tiny bit off. Looks like it could be a pretty fun game with a bit more work though.
Apr 24 21:47:00 3m 00s The Plane Walker [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Game didn't seem to work in firefox, trying in chrome now (seems like it is working).
Apr 24 22:12:00 25m 00s Predicament [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Audio did not work for me in firefox so I switched over to chrome and everything worked fine. Fantastic graphics and feel! Pitty about the music, I think that would have added a lot. The gameplay seemed a little bit lacking. Most of the game for me was just clicking everything onto everything else to see if anything happened rather than thinking things through. Still a fantastic game overall though.
Apr 24 22:50:00 38m 00s Startrash Galaxy [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Shame you didn't have more time, this looks like a really promising concept. The controls were not really obvious at the beginning and the gameplay was a bit lacking but the I quite liked the art style and theme. Very well done for your 8.5 hours!
Apr 24 23:46:00 56m 00s Atomic Galaxy Factory [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
I've been pretty damn critical with my comments and ratings so keep that in mind when I say that this game was really fun and addictive. Simple concept but just made me want to keep on playing until I won (quite a while). Probably the only complaint I have is that there is no reset button so I can start the game afresh when I balls it up. Also I think there should be a more final sort of defeat. Other than that it was a great experience and very well balanced. Good work!
Apr 24 23:56:00 10m 00s My Little Planetoid [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Not too keen on the gameplay but the look and feel is fantastic and it matches with the theme very well. Camera was also a bit clunky.
Apr 25 00:47:00 51m 00s ResourceCollector [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
This game has quite a few similarities to the one we made! I like the art and the concept behind the game but I feel that the gameplay and controls were a bit off. The right control/alt keys were a bit of a pain to use but the main annoyance for me was having to keep spamming the button down to attack and also having to press a key to collect resources. There were also a few graphical bugs in the last level. Other than that, like I said great concept and good look and feel :)
Apr 25 01:06:00 19m 00s TinyBoxes [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Tried to make my way through the whole game but unfortunately got stuck on the level with the single strand of ice that runs from left to right. Simple yet effective graphics, good music, well thought out puzzles. Overall pretty good! Great work for your first dare :D
Apr 25 01:46:00 40m 00s Tiny Shards [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
To the person asking about the music it's from Kevin MacLeod at incompetech.com who does royalty free stuff.

I really loved the look and feel to this game and I think it is the only game that I've rated so far that really got me wanting to see more of the story. The gameplay was pretty good also, although there seemed to be some bugs in places where I fell through objects I don't think I should have. One really small gameplay aspect that stood out for some reason was that was that the heat-seeking shots from the plants lined up at a good height where you could shoot them which I thought was pretty cool. There were also a few places in the graphics that didn't really line up properly so I couldn't quite justify 5 stars there even though the rest of the graphics were completely fantastic. I loved the backgrounds, the falling particles, and the dialog boxes in particular. Great use of Kevin MacLeod's music too, very fitting tracks for all the levels. Great game all round that really got me playing right through to the end. Well done!
Apr 25 17:44:00 15h 58m Planet Trot [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Looks great but the background can get a bit dizzying at times. I think this is a really fun and interesting concept that could have used a bit more to it. Very creative and fits the theme very well. Good work!
Apr 26 01:40:00 7h 56m Rally Mites [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Looks like it could be a fun game with a bit more work! One thing that did annoy me however was not being able to see very far in front of me and as a result stuff sort of came out of nowhere.
Apr 26 01:56:00 16m 00s 12 Days in a Snow Globe [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
GameMarker screen was very distracting and you are right about the controls of harvesting the crops. Other than that I thought this was a great idea for a game and could have been fantastic with a bit more time. Great work for the time limit, especially the graphics!
Apr 26 02:07:00 11m 00s Tiny's World [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Cool idea and cute little story. Gameplay wasn't for me though, and the music did get a bit annoying after awhile.
Ran the improved version in firefox and worked like a charm.
Apr 26 02:22:00 15m 00s Puny Planet [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Web version did not work for me in firefox so I got the windows version. Really like the idea for the game and was fun to play. Music did get repetitive and I thought the movement could have been a little smoother. I did find a glaring bug where when I died and it reset the music played over itself. Also I think when you destroy a planet you should be able to pick up it's remaining asteroids rather than them remaining in the destroyed planets orbit. All in all not bad for 48 hours!
Apr 26 02:32:00 10m 00s Escape from Minimars [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Decent game all-round. I was a little annoyed on level 4 where some text popped up but not long enough for me to read it. Other than that I thought this was a great effort and the little dudes were really cute.
Apr 26 02:42:00 10m 00s Molecules [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Gameplay didn't really hook me in at all, but it was funny and informative (although I forgot everything already).
Apr 26 02:59:00 17m 00s Teeming [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Great concept! Gameplay wasn't quite there for me, especially the fact you get stunned every time you eat. Later levels were pretty cool when the syms arrived. Pretty good for 48 hours.
Apr 26 03:04:00 5m 00s Stade 2 (Mr.Oizo) [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Wish I could have played more of this to give it a better look but my meager skills couldn't really get me far at all. Looks great from the little I saw though!
Apr 26 03:10:00 6m 00s Tiny Maze Speedrun [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Simple yet effective! Not much more to say than that really. Loved the humor at the start, movement felt just right. Congratulations for a complete and polished game :)
Apr 26 05:07:00 1h 57m Last World [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Solid game! One minor complaint I have is that stuff can still hit you while you are reading the tutorial. Great graphics and music, but the movement could use a little tweaking I think. Good work overall!
Apr 26 05:14:00 7m 00s Tiny Space [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Played until the whole planet was gone! Pitty you didn't get the chance to put in some more content, but the game itself was quite solid. Movement seemed pretty smooth. Only real complaint I have is the audio.
Apr 26 19:05:00 13h 51m Serendipity with Cubes [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Visually appealing but I found it quite hard to get a grasp of the gameplay. Camera and controls felt great but I think the zooming in and out could have been a little faster. I think maybe the game could have used some very simple levels with a smaller field as a tutorial to get used to it. Other than that quite a polished game for the time and great concept. Good work!
Apr 26 19:12:00 7m 00s Creature Collect [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Great concept but a bit confusing and I felt the movement was a bit out of control. I really loved how the planets had gravity but I think overall the physics could have used more work. Good work for 48 hours though!
Apr 26 19:25:00 13m 00s It's a tiny world [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Good concept. Music was really distracting when reading the opening text. I also found that I seemed to die very randomly. Tried to play through to the end but had to put it down after a few deaths. Still what was there was quite enjoyable and could be great with a bit more work. I did find that the game made me think about how to move around the level which is awesome but I think the random element was a bit too much. Good work getting this done in the 48 hours!
Apr 26 19:31:00 6m 00s Bipolar [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Found a couple of bugs where I got caught on walls. Cool concept but gameplay wasn't quite there for me. Good work for the time limit though!
Apr 26 19:37:00 6m 00s Tiny World Adventure [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Pretty fun! I liked the two weapons and the art worked pretty well. I didn't think there was quite enough feedback to see that I was getting damaged by my own shots until I actually died though. Great work for 48 hours.
Apr 26 19:53:00 16m 00s Epiquest - mini edition [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Tada! Good humor and good concept but lacking a bit of gameplay. Good work for the time though and congrats on your first game jam.
My score was 83.
Apr 26 20:15:00 22m 00s Deconstructorium [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Wasn't initially aware that I could venture right to combine materials. After I found that out the game made a whole lot more sense and I found it pretty enjoyable to the point where I had to play right to the end. I think the speed of the scientist in the lab itself could have been increased as I found it frustrating to have to walk across the room. Also I would suggest adding a list of combinations you have already discovered to the game. Overall though, good work!
Apr 26 20:35:00 20m 00s Le Petit [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Wow! That was a hard game but I got through to the end and with only 135 deaths! This was one of those games where I just had to keep going even though it was insanely frustrating. It reminded me a bit of super meat boy which is a big compliment in my book. Good graphics, music could use a bit of work. Level design was great, movement worked well. Would have liked to see WASD controls for those of us that prefer that. Loved the deaths stayed there a little bit as a reminder of my past failures. Very polished. Could go on and on about the features I liked but I'll just say it's one of my favourites so far! Great work :)
Apr 26 21:09:00 34m 00s Tiny World! [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Simple but nice graphics. Good sound except double jump sound got a bit annoying. The level design was a bit too open for my tastes as it got overwhelming and I felt like I wasn't sure if I was going the right way or not most of the time. Lots of cool little gameplay elements packed into 48 hours that were quite fun to play with. Good work getting this out there!
Apr 26 21:13:00 4m 00s Tiny Huge Planet [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Will be downloading this to have a look at it for sure. Just need to convince someone to play with me :)
Apr 26 21:36:00 23m 00s Endless Siege [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
I like the concept but I think this game is definately lacking some feedback. Suggestions below such as a HP bar and more visuals for seasons would be good to see, also perhaps the monsters could flash red when they are hit. Sound would also be a good addition to this game. Not quite there for me but a good result for your first Dare especially in the solo 48 compo.
Apr 26 21:39:00 3m 00s Zombie Arena TinyWorld Could not get this game to run sorry :(
Apr 26 21:55:00 16m 00s Tiny Journey [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
I really like the idea of this game and so badly wanted to play through to the end but there were some annoyances that stopped me. The hitboxes for a lot of things seemed a bit off and the game just was quite fiddley in general. Really liked the game as a whole but definately needs some tweaking.
Apr 26 22:31:00 36m 00s Red [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Very charming game but I felt that a lot of it could be bypassed by just waiting for the stomp and other parts involved just you waiting for the stomp to proceed. Also the grappling hook sections seemed a bit wierd at places and there were a few graphical glitches. Other than that though like I said this was quite charming and great for the time limit you guys had. Very cool to see you guys tackle a 3D game of this scope. Good work :)
Apr 26 22:47:00 16m 00s Tiny Castles [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
A bit basic but nice graphics and great overall mood. The only major complaint I have is the audio. Still quite a fun game. Good work!
Apr 26 22:59:00 12m 00s Little Biyubi [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
The tiny screen was a bit of a strain on the eyes and the movement was a bit slow but other than that I really liked the graphics and overall tone of the game. Gameplay wasn't quite my thing so I didn't get through to the end, but nonetheless good work on such a polished game!
Apr 26 23:08:00 9m 00s Cows and Stuff [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
5/5 for Humor. Hilarious! Gameplay itself was decent, but I got annoyed trying to find which way to go in the levels.
Apr 26 23:16:00 8m 00s Poor Pluto's Revenge [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
A bit too easy and a bit too short but quite humerous and fun to play. The capturing the the asteroids works well. Great work for the 20 hours you got to work on it.
Apr 27 01:55:00 2h 39m Overpopulous [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Could not load the webpage. Will try again later.
Apr 27 02:29:00 34m 00s Watercolour [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Could not get this to work sorry. Shame because it looked interesting.
Apr 27 04:05:00 1h 36m Kao Not really sure what you were aiming for here but it has a load of potential. I love the setting and I think it could be pretty awesome with a bit more work. As others have said I feel the combat is a bit lacking. It is possible to attack stuff without it hitting you if you play it right but it still feels clunky. I like that you can gather wood and was hoping to find some sort of use for it that I could not. Placing it down as a barrier would have been an awesome idea except I couldn't shoot out from behind it so it became fairly useless there. The graphics are quite charming and I love the snow, but the audio is a little annoying. Good work for the time limit though and I hope you expand upon this game!
Apr 27 04:42:00 37m 00s This Precious Land [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
I was surprised how addictive this was! Great graphics and sound as well. I didn't get too far (About 3 mana tree things), but what I played before I gave up I really enjoyed.
Apr 27 04:50:00 8m 00s Nanonaut [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Charming graphics, nice music, very cool concept. The combat felt a bit clunky however and there was a bug after I died the first time where my UI went missing. Also, the game could really use some driving goals behind it. Other than that this was quite fun and I love what you guys acomplished in the time you had!
Apr 27 05:10:00 20m 00s Nook [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Great graphics and general feel/tone. Game was a bit clunky (compo version) which made me have to put it down before I got all the keys. Still, a great effort and fantastic amount of polish other than the framerate issue.
Apr 27 06:44:00 1h 34m Block Bros [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
The start of this game was pretty slow but it ramped up just enough to get me playing right through to the end. Great concept but it could really use some more challenging gameplay. Graphics and music suited very nicely to make a great mood/tone to the game. All in all good work for your first game!
Apr 27 07:07:00 23m 00s ACTION SCIENCE DOG [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
My game seemed to stop at the Subatomic World 3 screen. Aside from that this was pretty enjoyable! I like the concept and I found 'Science Cheese' to be hilarious. Gameplay could still use a bit of work but was overall pretty well done for the time limit.
Apr 27 07:13:00 6m 00s Virus Wars [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Had to lol at virus.jar :)
Simple concept that was fun to play. Tutorial could have indeed used a bit more instruction and the difficulty of the later tutorial levels seemed odd for a tutorial. Other than that it was pretty good!
Apr 27 07:23:00 10m 00s Giant's Crash ! Was very surprised to see a first person game in the jam! The gameplay didn't really do it for me but I was impressed that you were able to get all this going in the time limit. Double jump was very confusing. All in all I think this was a good achievement but still needs a lot more work. Congrats on finshing your first LD!
Apr 27 07:38:00 15m 00s TinyInspiration [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
I have seen a few point and click adventure games in the comp so far but this is the first one that actually made me think about how to logically use everything rather than just click everything onto everything else. I liked that there were multiple paths through the game. Inventory UI was a little buggy in places. Overall not bad!
Apr 27 07:46:00 8m 00s A Perfect Purpose [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Cool art style, shame you didn't get more time to work on this.
Apr 27 07:49:00 3m 00s Ant Run [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Simple but fun. My only real complaint about this is that the balls can seem a bit random and hard to predict. Great concept!
Apr 28 06:07:00 22h 18m CULVEN [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
As is said in the other comment I think the controls are a bit clunky and diagonal movement could really add to the game. The attack was also a bit hard to work with, perhaps it could have some more range on it. The only other thing that didn't really click with me was the openness of the level design as it overwhelmed me somewhat. Other than that I thought this was pretty cool. The simple graphics worked well and the audio was quite nice. Good work getting so many features added in the time limit!
Apr 28 06:20:00 13m 00s Angle Isle [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Awesome game! Went out of my way to get 100% fruit :)
Even though this seemed very complete I thought it could do with a tad more gameplay. Other than that it was fantastic all around. Good graphics, sound & movement. Great work!
P.S. Reading through the comments I came up with a suggestion: You could perhaps hold space to soar inbetween the levels rather than tap like normal.
Apr 28 06:27:00 7m 00s caveman defending his cave from aliens while monoliths drop down from the sky [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Got to 6 monoliths then lost because I didn't know you had to stop the aliens getting to the cave. Good game other than that! Was a little hard to understand what to do at first but that could just be me needing more caffiene. One thing I would have liked to see is perhaps an arrow pointing to the next monolith location. Hilarious title and great work!
Apr 28 06:35:00 8m 00s Tinysasters [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Amazing game, especially for the 48! Could do with a little tiny bit more gameplay and a little bit less random but other than that very well made and polished.
Apr 28 06:56:00 21m 00s Mini-Worlds and Monocles [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Good stuff! Only a couple of minor complaints about the game. I overlooked the instructions at the start as I didn't want to read through all the text so it wasn't immediately clear that you had to go back to the ship after collecting all the critters. Also I thought the game was a bit too easy. It wasn't until the 3rd level that I got hit by a grey thing and after I learned they didn't kill me I was a lot less careful about playing through the game (the grey things even helped me in places!). Don't get me wrong though, I loved this game. The movement was great, the humor was gold, the graphics and audio worked quite well. The storyline dialogue actually made me really want to play through right to the end which I'm glad that I did because the ending was super cool! Great work for the 48!
Apr 28 07:01:00 5m 00s Flight of the Ladybug [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
1633! Simple but fun. Took a couple of deaths to get used to the controls but they fit really well with the ladybug! Quite a solid game. Simple, yet effective.
Apr 28 07:08:00 7m 00s Free Donutia [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Cool concept but I found the minions to be really slow and couldn't really get over that combined with their collision. However I did enjoy simply going on a rampage killing all the red dudes solo. Audio could use a lot of work but graphics were quite charming. Could be great with a bit more work!
Apr 28 07:20:00 12m 00s Magic House [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Cool concept. I found the mouse sensitivity a bit odd and the movement a little slow but it was really cool to see a first person game done in the time limit! I think the puzzles could also be a bit more thought out. Most of the concent at the moment seems like it is just trying to find hidden objects and reading the text that pops up. Still, this had a pretty cool overall feel to it!
Apr 28 07:28:00 8m 00s Rat Conquest [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
This was a cool concept but the movement was way too slow for my personal taste. Not much more to say than that sorry!
Apr 28 07:43:00 15m 00s Invasion Of Tiny World [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Cool concept! I found the controls a little bit unresponsive but I liked the overall idea and feel of the game. I also didn't really get that I got HP from destroying buildings until well into my play session. Would be really cool with a bit more work. Well done for the 48!
Apr 28 07:50:00 7m 00s Solenopsis Invicta [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Looks like a good start and a cool concept but like others have said it was very hard to actually figure out how to play. Love the idea though and would be great to see this complete.
Apr 28 07:57:00 7m 00s Lighthouse [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Love the concept! As others have said below I think the random element probably works against the game a bit. It also took a little bit to realise the buttons were pressed by mouse. I think this is a cool idea and could be great with a bit of tweaking.
Apr 28 08:12:00 15m 00s SNES Dreams [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Does feel a little unorthadox rating based on a video but I wanted to anyway because this seems like quite a cool concept. Would take quite a bit of work to be a complete functioning game however. Would love to see this expanded upon with some original music that was very carefully constructed for it's tone and then writing up some interesting stories to go with it. Very unique idea that is something I would never have thought of!
Apr 28 08:27:00 15m 00s Dude Rescue [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Like you said, a bit buggy and I think there should have been more asteroids but other than that it was pretty fun.
Apr 28 08:47:00 20m 00s Immunity [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Cool twist on TDs. I like the concept but the learning curve is pretty steep. I think this game could benefit a lot from multiple levels that builds up the gameplay as you progress. Would love to see this after a bit more work on it!
Heh. Just read your previous comment after writing that. Looks like you are completely on the ball!
Apr 28 09:36:00 49m 00s All That Are Lost Will Be Found [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Holy crap that scared the hell out of me. Not sure I want to play the version with sound because I could very well soil myself. Cool concept, movement worked well for the most part. Really loved the unique game over sequence and making the game darker when you take damage. This could be really awesome with a bit more work. Going to play the post compo now, hope the sounds aren't as scary as the graphics were the first time.
Apr 28 10:16:00 40m 00s Life in jar [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
For me this was an extremely relaxing game. I built right up to the end and got my little guys home! The game is a bit rough around the edges in places such as the camera, the blur effect, the balance, and a couple of bugs, but I think this could be really special with a bit more work. Very well done for getting this done in the time you had.
Apr 28 10:27:00 11m 00s Celia [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Quite a cool game you have here :) I think I managed to exploit the level with the I LOVE YOU bear, bypassing most of it by narrowly sliding past the shrink item. The level after that I found was very overwhelming due to it's open level design and I had to put the game down there. Other than that the game was pretty good. The graphics were great and the music was very relaxing. The movement was pretty smooth and it was very clear how to play from the very start. Not bad work!
Apr 28 21:59:00 11h 32m Tiny Island Adventure [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
The movement was a little different but once you get used to it it worked quite well. There was a couple of collision problems when walking along the ground or pushing boxes. Other than that this had great graphics, music, and level design. Quite fun to play and great to see that you got a complete game with a proper ending!
Apr 28 22:13:00 14m 00s Stage 2 Chaos First time through I died on the second mob. Seems a bit too random at the moment. Also without the mobs moving I could just go through most of the level picking up what I wanted. Other than that I did enjoy playing this game. The fog of war/lighting thing was quite cool and made me want to explore what I couldn't see in the level. Could be great with a bit more work.
Apr 29 02:08:00 3h 55m Hopeless [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Got to the start screen and hit enter to play. Game just showed a purple screen and couldn't seem to get past that. Shame because this looked interesting.
Apr 29 02:12:00 4m 00s A Flying Shame [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Wasn't initially clear that the fridges stopped you, just thought they were part of the background. Also couldn't really tell when the bugzappers were going to stay or drop. Sound also could use a bit of work. Still, congratulations on getting a complete game out there in the time you had.
Apr 29 02:19:00 7m 00s Little Locations [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Unsure if I liked falling into the other levels or not. Graphics quite cool, sounds could use a little work. Was a little hard to control in places and a bit frustrating not being able to try again straight away. Not bad other than that though. Good work for the 48!
Apr 29 02:33:00 14m 00s Colossal Creature crushes Tiny Town [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Really liked the black and white king kong feel of this game but the gameplay was a little lacking. One problem like others have said is that you can just do a sweep to clear the ground. Another problem I had was that there was no real way to avoid damage and it never reset between levels. This could be quite cool with a bit more work though!
Apr 29 05:31:00 2h 58m The Tourist [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
I liked the concept. From your text I found that there was some sort of message the game was trying to tell me but it wasn't quite there. The gameplay itself was a bit lacking but the look and feel was nice. Would love to see what you would have done with this with a bit more time.
Apr 29 06:17:00 46m 00s The Pioneer [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
I started up the game, the music was great and I was very excited to get into this. I typed in my seed OMGLOL and proceeded on normal difficulty. Then I walked right one step (off the edge of the world!) and got the game over screen and had to close the game. Opening the game again I picked a new seed and went straight to the EASY option. Took me a little while to find out what the controls were but after that the game seemed pretty solid. Graphics were good, animation was very smooth. Sound and music as I already mentioned were awesome. The only real complaints I have about this (and probably what stopped me playing) was that you only have one life and you have to quit the game then reopen it after that.
Apr 29 06:27:00 10m 00s Gravity Force 3 [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Very unique and fun game. I think the difficulty ramped up a bit too quickly though and the ship slowed down a bit much with a fully charged laser. Other than that I think this could make also do with a side on shot so you don't feel so helpless about colliding into a nearby asteroid. Gave you an extra 'Mood' star for the message hidden in the high scores :D
Apr 29 06:39:00 12m 00s c!ph3r [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
A fun, solid experience. One thing I would have liked to see is the pickups increasing your time. At first I thought you needed all of them to proceed but after I found out you didn't I cared very little for them. Other than that great work and nicely polished!
Apr 29 07:00:00 21m 00s Boxed in. [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Really wanted to get through to the end of this game as I found it very enjoyable. The mechanics took a bit of getting used to but are very unique and creative and a lot of fun. A couple of graphic bugs in places but one of my favourite games so far! I saw the kittens :D
Apr 29 07:17:00 17m 00s Professor McSteen, and his shrinking machine [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
I didn't find this game to be very intuative at all but once I got into the swing of things I felt a lot of satisfaction from solving how to proceed. The thing that made me put this game down at the end was the fact that restarting always put me back at the same place. After not getting a box to where I needed to be (When you get shrunk) I had to reset and could not stomach going back through all that again. I think that the basic idea behind this game is pretty good but the learning curve needs to be a lot softer and the punishment for getting stuck needs to be reduced.
Apr 29 07:47:00 30m 00s Tondie and Zupe [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Pretty fun and addictive but a little rough in places. The frame rate dropped considerably at later levels which really decreased my enjoyment. The only other complaint I have is that it was very annoying stopping you doing anything everytime you made a building. Very cool concept and very enjoyable though. Was especially fun to chain combos together.
Apr 29 08:15:00 28m 00s Crimson Booties [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
I love these sorts of games and this one got me pretty intrigued. Shame that you ran out of time for the other acts because it was looking quite good other than that. Will definitely check out the extended versions. The only other thing I have to add is that I think this would be great with some audio. Just that '...' sound you get with some older rpg dialog boxes if you know what I mean by that. Would love to see this evolve into a completed game.
Apr 29 08:24:00 9m 00s The Collector [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Love the concept, graphics and music were pretty good. Pretty fun gameplay too but the openness of the level design got very overwhelming for me quickly and I had to put the game down because of that.
Apr 29 08:33:00 9m 00s Space Jumper [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Not part of my rating but in future jams you may want to look into the size of your file. Some people rate hundreds of games and internet cap begins to be a bit of an issue. Sorry if this comes across as blunt.
Apr 29 08:48:00 15m 00s Terraformer Breath [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
I felt that a lot of jumps I made should have been sucessful but ended up going through planets instead of landing on them. This unfortunatly set the tone of most of the game for me and the humerous comments then quickly added to my frustration. I liked the concept but thought this should be more about thinking which way to go rather than trying to work out where -exactly- you needed to jump to reach the next platform. Could be great with some tweaks though.
Apr 29 08:57:00 9m 00s Tinysoft [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
Don't want to be one of -those- people but it's spelled 'enough' not 'enaugh' (just nitpicking sorry). Sad to see that you ran out of time with this, hope it goes better next time! A couple of things I noticed when playing the game was that the menu controls were arrows keys only but the in game movement was with WASD. Likewise the interactions were with space but closing them with enter. I think that the game could benefit from more consistent controls. Sorry I don't have much more positive to say but there isn't too much of a game here yet to really comment on.
Apr 29 09:03:00 6m 00s Cylcubere Origins [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
The voice is really awesome! The thing with holding the mouse over the square didn't work for me in the web player (not full screen). Great work on the mood.
May 2 08:43:00 71h 40m Tinysaur [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
This was a well executed game with a few bugs that are understandable given the nature of Ludum Dare. I hope you can create a polished version with additional content, the game didn't quite stand up on the second play through.
May 2 08:55:00 12m 00s eat, sleep, work It's a rather nice game, a little hard to use the facilities but the work side was simple enough. The only thing missing was a gradual increase in difficulty level.
May 2 14:01:00 5h 06m Magma Defense [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
A simple to understand, fun game. Great job.
May 2 14:17:00 16m 00s Tiny Kitty Harem Hero [Comments and ratings from this account come from various team members]
A good, challenging game.
There seems to be a bug where the cat keeps shooting, after load, if the game ends while you have the space key down and I killed my cats of like that a few times (it might have been me pressing space when the popup loads, not sure). I'm using Chrome if you want to look into it.
Despite my mad rushes to the refresh key, the game was fun to play.
